I'm Holly. I currently live alone & I am wanting to get back into share housing to save money. Have lived in share houses before, but after living alone for a whole year, it's a little bit scary. Looking for some super chill housemates, preferably don't want to live in a community bigger than 3. A mixture of male & female would also be nice, preferably in the age bracket of 22-32ish. I am really chilled out, not much phases me, except for racism, sexism, homophobia & close mindedness, those are a few of my not so favourite things. I cook well, even if I do say so myself, but I do eat very plant based and I love to grow my own herbs and the odd veggie or too. I like to keep a clean and tidy house, though I do understand that life sometimes gets in the way & mess is sometimes un avoidable. I'm a bit of a workaholic. I don't work full time, instead I keep 2 casual Jobs a day jon & a night job, which usually take up about 40 hours of my week, so I do spend a lot of timeout of the house. I'm a creative person & can be a bit of a night owl. I like to be quite sociable, but can be introverted, so I do need a bit of my own space. I am how ever almost always keen to share a bottle of red over a debrief at the end of the day. Let me know if you would like to team up and find a place, ideally thats what I would like to do as I have a fair amount of furniture from my current apartment. I'd love to get coffee and have a chat about what you want in a housemate. :)

Hi there, my name is Nabilah. I'm trying to find an affordable apartment with one or two flatmates. I'm currently working full-time as a criminal lawyer in Sydney. I've recently decided to move to Melbourne and start my masters degree at Melbourne Uni. I'm friendly and very tidy. I respect space and privacy, but also love an occasional wine/meal with the housemates. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm friendly person and enjoy to spend time with people :) I like to cook and share and to make new friends! :) I'm unemployed but my family help me with finance stuff, so won't be any problem in payments.
Hey ya! My name is Drizzle! I'm 22 and currently working as a Graphic / UI / UX Designer in Singapore. I'll be in Melbourne to begin my studies in February and would ideally be living around the CBD area. I love everything that has to do with design and art and am really looking forward to explore all that Melbourne has to offer! I'm easy going, love meeting new people and am always up for cafe dates or chats over wine and dinner!! that said, I also will be respective towards personal space. As your potential roomie, I can guarantee you'd always be taken care of on sick days and come home to a clean space and occasional desserts! (not that I bake... I just have a sweet tooth!) Finding a room mate would be great! but even better to find one to call a friend :)
I'm easy to live with, very quiet, not a party man (not drinking nor smoking). I'm not intrusive at all. Respect your privacy! I practice ahletics (as a sprinter). I love reading and educating myself. Into spirituality, yoga and meditation. I am looking for a place to stay from 3months up to 1year and more. As I'm going to get a working visa the length is not an issue.
I am a cheerful friendly person easy to get along with, i like to keep things neat and tidy and i will always clean up after myself. I am looking to move up from the country to become a student after taking one year off saving money, working as a barista. In my spare time i love to dance, occasionally go out or just hang out with friends watching movies and eating snacks. I am also looking to make some great life long friends!
I'm Sophie,23, host at one of Melbournes leading restaurants. I recently left my job in events to persue something further - I am very dedicated to pushing myself to achieve my career goals. I love working and socialising equally along with being a firm believer in loving what you do. I'm clean and super organised but also respect how others like their spaces. Looking forward to meeting with you.
I'm a very friendly person, always up for meeting new people and participating in house activities, from outings to just a glass of wine and a movie night in the evening. From England, I'm clean and conscientious, past my crazy party days and respectful of others space if they need it! I'm an avid baker, so if you want some yummy treats on a weekly basis, I'm your gal! Unfortunately, I am a bit of a dork, so hopefully you'll be able to put up with that...
Hi there! Name is Dani, I'm 19 working part time, and also studying. I love learning and am doing two courses at the moment. I like to chill with friends and maybe watch a movie, but also like to go out and try new things and have a good time. I'm not too crazy, but I am pretty free spirited. I have a white indoor cat named Hero, he is quite energetic and loves to play, but is deaf so needs a little comforting and direction sometimes. I'm looking for a place to stay in for at least a year, with some easy people to get a long with who are decently responsible and understanding and dont mind having a furry companion around :)
I'm a very easy going travel addict, made in Finland. Looking for a long term room in Melbourne. I'm a waitress/bartender with a passion for all sorts of fitness training, adventures and music. I've been travelling around the world most of this year and now it feels like it's time to stay in one spot for a while. All I need is a roof above my head and some new friends since i have no clue what to expect of Melbourne. Would you like to be my new roommate?
Hi! I'm Silan. I landed here from Turkey, about a week ago, my visa for a year. I'm 27 years old. Play basketball back home for the city , travel a lot while I can, and super easy going, tidy and clean. I like to be live with the enjoyable and energetic people like me. I can cook the traditional foods and I like to share my culture with the other people. We could enjoy putting on a record, cooking together, sharing a bottle of wine over good conversations after a busy day. Was wondering if any of the rooms still avalible. and if so meet up and go over details. Let me know if you need more details about myself. Thank you. Silan
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 4m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
We are a clean, working and happy young couple looking for a short term stay until we find our own unit! New to Melbourne, both moving from Sydney! Looking for something simple, clean, and central or close! My boyfriend and I are quiet and keep to ourselves, but love a good chat and a coffee/cup of tea! We are definitely not party animals, preferring movies and food to bars and clubs. We are super relaxed, open minded, considerate and easy to get along with! Making the move to Melbs to escape the eastern suburbs of Sydney. Dane is a photographer who loves travel, interesting people and books. I'm a tea-loving, dog-petting gal who loves music and a good laugh! Both non drinkers and non smokers. Feel free to message us if you think we'd make a sweet little addition to your home ☺️
I'm from Canada, and I work in hospitality so my hours are a bit strange. I'm very easy-going and open to pretty much everything... Honestly I love having netflix binge nights just as much as I love going out for drinks! I also can't seem to find the words to describe myself so I'm sorry!!
Hello! Looking to apply for a 2 bedroom flat with one other ASAP with my floofy friend, John. Looking for somewhere Carlton North/Brunswick East area and would like it to be a place where we can feel comfortable making the place our own. Would prefer to live with someone of a similar age but this isn't compulsory. A BIT ABOUT ME I am 25 and a creative type with an interest in science/technology. I play video games and am mostly vegetarian but cannot sustain due to health reasons. LGBT+friendly, sometimes introverted but love company. I can talk forever about pretty much anything, any philosophical topics on your mind will not go undiscussed! I'm finishing up my photography degree next year and at the moment about to start volunteering for Lort Smith.
Hey guys, We are two students looking for an apartment close to the city. 20 and 19 years old, we both work at a bar in the city. We are also able to pay cash in hand per month.
Hey all! I'm a Canadian coming to Melbourne in early February to work and experience a new part of the world! First things first, I'm extremely clean and organized. I would hate to share a living space with someone who doesn't clean up after themselves so you can rest easy knowing I'll pull my weight. I'm laid back and easy to get along with. I'm into many different types of music and movies. I want to do a lot of adventuring while I'm in australia and I really enjoy heading out for drinks. Also very into sports! Down to hang out and become friends but also appreciate the need for privacy and your own space. Looking for a fun, trustworthy and reliable roommate looking to share a 2 bedroom flat, would also consider a share house with likeminded people! Contact me, lets chat!
My name is Maya and I'm a girl from Switzerland travelling around Australia. I'm in Melbourne now to earn money. Having a good time with friends, meeting new people from all over the world and going out - listening to some good music included - is life for me. I'm not dodgy at all and I'm open-minded so there is nobody I couldn't live with. Looking forward of meeting new flatmates :)
I am in between houses and need to find a place to stay. I am clean, tidy, easy going, quiet non-smoking friendly male. That respects the privacy and space of others but mixes very well with everyone. I work in the hospitality industry and currently in between contracts. I am also pretty handy around the house.
Hey everyone! I am looking for a private room in a flat/house/apartment for a long term stay. I am able to move in about 2 weeks notice. I currently study at Swinburne Uni completing my business degree and work part time. I have previous share house experience and I am quite accustomed to it. About me, I am an easygoing, chill guy, having conversations about any topic, I enjoy listening to music (dj casually), keeping my body healthy, travelling, being social and up for a drink. Contact me anytime, I reply quick! Thanks.
I am looking for a place to rent in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne with easy access to the CBD, I am interested in either renting a private room or starting a share house with somebody. I have lived in share-houses for the past 3 years so sharing a space is not a problem. I would prefer to live in a house that has a nice social mix and create our own little family! I work in the CBD as a travel agent and also study 2 days per week in the CBD. Paying rent and bills on time is never a problem. Please feel free to contact me if you have something available or would be interested in renting a place together and we can go and grab a beer or some dumplings ;)
Hi! After working as a lawyer in Amsterdam for 4 years, I have decided to move to Australia and to find a job as a lawyer in Melbourne (so I'm still unemployed but hope to have a job soon). During university, I lived in a fraternity/sorority house and after that I lived with friends, so I'm used to living with different people and used to cleaning (definitely no hosophobia but I like my house clean), chilling and doing fun stuff with my flatmates (having beers, watching stupid TV shows, cooking, going out etc). I'm super easy going, I don't complain much and I'm not the most noisy person in the world so very easy to live with. Again, I like my beers and to go out but also love sports (running, swimming, rowing, cycling, surfing, boxing) and music (from 3-day music festivals to playing piano and learning to play guitar). I have already arrived in Melbourne and currently staying in a hostel. I'm looking for some nice flatmates (preferably in a furnished flat)! As regards moving date, I'm flexible Not really a plan how long I will stay, could be 4 months or 4 years. Who can help me out? : )
I am pursuing masters at Melbourne University. I'm creative, clean, respect others privacy, outgoing and considerate person that you should find very easy to get along with. I love trying various cuisines and I like to hike on weekends. Interested to team up as well so feel free to ping me if you're planning to apply for any property. Cheers.
Hey guys! I’m a 28 year old originally from Perth, WA. Earlier this year, I relocated to Melbourne after spending 2.5 years in London. I work in recruitment full time in the CBD. I consider myself very social, friendly and easy going. I lived with some great people in my share house in London and am still very close mates with them all! I am ideally looking to live with people who enjoy a laugh, don’t take themselves too seriously and want to go out for a drink every now and then. I am also very respectful of people wanting their own privacy and space. I am a tidy flat mate and an average cook (but I give it a crack). I love sport (both playing and watching) including soccer, AFL, cricket and basketball. Let me know if you have any questions! Cheers, Justin
Hello! Our names are Sarah and Lily and we're looking for a place to move in to in Melbourne for early January. We're 23, from England and both in full time employment. We first arrived in Australia a year ago and having spent 6 months in Sydney and then completing our farm work in Queensland we're hoping to find a home where we can settle and enjoy Melbourne. We're both friendly, active and outgoing. We work full time but enjoy spending time with friends on the weekend. We're very clean and tidy and would love to finally find a place to call home. Please get in touch if you think we're the right fit! Lily and Sarah
Hey guys! I'm Isa, 18, from Switzerland. I'm currently living and studying on the Gold Coast in QLD but I am planning to move to Melbourne and find a job there. I am a happy, tidy and easygoing person who loves to cook, play volleyball and meet new people. Sometimes I just like to chill but I also like some good party ;). I am looking for some like-minded flatmates! :)
Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 20 minute commute to my school. Also, I prefer a private bedroom with it's own washroom (ensuite preferred). I am a mature, energetic, independent young woman who has a vast array of dreams and ambitions to accomplish. I have a great sense of humor and I would say that I am a very social person, but I also like my alone time especially when it comes to studying for school. I'm a huge foodie. Toronto has every cultural restaurant you can think of and I love going out to restaurants to try different foods as well as cooking at home. My specialty though is baking cheesecake with a twist. I also love to read, dance and listen to music on my down time. I love the outdoors. I enjoy rollerblading and going for walks/hikes.
Hey! I'm a 32 - year old Finnish guy who's starting his psychology studies on February, 2017. I'm looking for a calm and clean living environment with flatmates who are considerate and respectful towards each other. We have been living in Fitzroy North since July, and love area, but the owner of our place is selling so we have to move. Move date sometime in late December is ideal, but flexible in Dec/Jan. My name is Hoss, 31 years old and a recent engineering grad currently living in Geelong. I'm a very outdoorsy person and love to hike. My interests are food, dogs, hanging out a having a beer, and reading. Self-funded person and currently looking for a professional position. I would love a movie night or BBQ night every so often when housemates are not busy and have free time. I love my family and my nephew. I have traveled for quite a while and lived in different countries. Hi, I'm Eileen, 27 years old. I'm from the US and have been working in Boston in the pharmaceutical industry for the past few years. I just moved to Melbourne in July and study at Melbourne Business School. It's great to finally live in the same timezone as Hoss! I love sports, hiking, rock climbing, riding my bike, and I think Hoss stole my thunder will the rest of my interests like food, a good beer, and reading. Random interest: slam poetry. During my time in Boston, I managed to find a women's Aussie rules club that I played for! Although I'm busy with school, I hope to have some spare time to explore the city, and get a few hikes and beach days in!
I'm 23 and have recently moved to Melbourne from Scotland and looking for a place to call home! I currently work a part time job in Saint Kilda and agency work in various locations, I also have savings so am entirely self sufficient! I've lived in shared houses since I was 15 so know the responsibilities that come with it. I'm respectful of people's space and like to keep things tidy! I'd love to live with people who are also in their twenties and like to hang out as a flat from time to time over a social glass of wine or semi-heated game of monopoly. For fun I love to update my blog, attend live music events, see more of the world and cook. I'm a total feeder and also make mean cupcakes that I would be willing to share with flatmates 😉 Looking for private room in shared house and available to move in now for any period from 2-4 months!
I'm from New Zealand and am moving to Melbourne to attend Melbourne Uni. In my downtime I like tolisten to/play music, cook, or go for a run. I'm pretty tidy as far as guys go and always pitch in around the house. Most of all I'm easy going and social, and am happy both either going out and having a quiet night in with the flatties.

Hi All, I am a Canadian student moving to Melbourne for vet school! I am looking for a place to stay! I have lived in the country all my life so preferably somewhere country -like, or somewhere with a backyard or somewhere near a nice beach or nature reserve/ park. I am not a typical student in the sense that I like to live in a clean and tidy space. I am looking for either a granny flat, single apartment, a trailer or to share a place with someone who has the same values in terms of cleanliness (i.e. dishes get washed everyday, house cleaned weekly etc.). I LOVE animals so if you have animals that would be amazing or if animals are allowed (not a requirement but a bonus). I enjoy adventures, the outdoors and food! *Move in date is not firm can move in anytime near the end of Feb.
My name is Libby! I'm a 29 year old country girl. For a living I work as a Car Sales Professional - and am moving into a new dealership in Melbourne and looking for people to live with (an hour commute from Ballarat where I live is just unreasonable!) I HATE filling these things out so bear with me. I love to cook and have no idea how to cook a meal for one so if you like your food then you'll love having me on board. I am fitness obsessed and am training for New York City Marathon in 2017 with a possible Marathon in June/July I love to have a glass of wine (in fact I think it's a pre-requisite if you work in vehicle sales) and debrief after work, but I have lived in Melbourne before so won't be in your pocket. Am happy to have pets in the house - my Mum is a vet too which is an added bonus. I am a heavy sleeper - which works well for other people in the house as I do have a tendency to be a grandma during training season. Am a social butterfly but also like space and am happy to have my own solo downtime I am looking anywhere in central Melbourne to be honest the closer to Collingwood the better. I ideally would like a modern house, and am happy to pay more for the master bedroom/ensuite. Even teaming up to make a awesome sharehouse!
Hey guys, I quit uni in Sydney a couple of months ago to move down here and make money for travelling the world! I'm currently working at riverland bar in the city which is awesome fun. I love music and cooking food (and eating :P) I'm a very social person and love to have people around that enjoy a good laugh!
My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing & speech (but mostly singing). I work about 2 days a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!) but am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here & there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook & eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk & teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $280 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get a lot less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week. Around $240 would be the highest I'm really hoping to go.
We are two germans who decided to quit the Jobs in Germany (Auditing and Tax Business) to travel the world before turning into 30. Now looking for a clean room/apartment/flat over Christmas and NYE to get a bit everyday life and become the christmas feeling. We are open-minded and love to meet people from all over the world. We are tidy, relaxed and respect others privacy. Feel free to message me, if you have any available room :-)
