I'm very friendly, easy going and sociable always up for a crack (laugh) I'm not the kind of person that would shut myself away in my room and complain about the littlest noise. My ideal house mate, would be competent at cleaning up after them selves and doesn't wanna live in a squat. I don't like the sink to be stacked up with dirty dishes from last week. They would be ok with me having friends over from time to time, as I like company. I work full time in South Melbourne, mon-fri, 9-5. contract is till end of July but there is potential to stay on longer, that's the plan anyway.... if not I would go back to temping with agencies in Melbourne. Mid week I'm super chill and just watch films cook and relax. Weekends I keep busy, I will either go away to see mates or they'll come and see me.
Hi there! I'm French and Enrique is Spanish. We are both currently studying our masters at TU Delft in the Netherlands and are coming to Australia for an exchange semester for myself at the University of Melbourne and work at Monash University for Enrique. We are very friendly and clean and love to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. We are always up for a Skype meeting if you would like to meet us :)
Hey! I'm Annie, a 26 years old student in my final year of study at Swinburne, also working part-time in aged care. I'm friendly and easy-going, I love music, art, reading, being outdoors and exercise, and enjoy doing different things around Melbourne. I've shared in 3 houses over the past 6 years and enjoy being able to meet more people this way. I am a respectful housemate, a non-smoker, and like living in a tidy place but am fairly relaxed about it. I love to spend time with housemates, but also appreciate being able to do my own thing. Am looking to move sometime in May. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you!
24 year old professional. I will be moving to Melbourne at the beginning of May and would like to find a fun and friendly place. The flat would ideally have 3 people max including me. I am also open to studios. Looking for a place towards the center of Melbourne. Preferably 30-40 mins away by car or up to an hour by public transport. I am looking for a place until the 26th of July.
Izak here, an international student from the Netherlands. My partner is going overseas for work and therefore I am looking for a room to rent until I finish my degree and found a job. Because we lived in an apartment I own full furnishings, such as: a tv, a couch, a washing machine, kitchen appliances etc, and happy to contribute my bit. I study social work, play rugby, am an active volunteer in the LGBTI+ community, and work part-time in a supermarket. I am a social, mature, reasonable guy that likes to have and cook a dinner at times, but also loves to have a bit of privacy. The room I am looking for is spacious and near public transport. I do not mind if the room is a bit further out in any of Melbourne's suburbs. I am allergic to pets, and as an ex-smoker prefer a non smokers household :)
Previously living in Gold Coast yet relocated to Melbourne and now studying aviation at Moorabbin Airport. I'm 19 male, quiet at times and really do respect the need of others' private space. I am also an amicable person who enjoys sharing my fascination with indie music. If you have a place and don't mind a guy joining you. Hit me up!
I'm currently studying and working in the city and looking for a comfy homey place for myself since I'm tired of sharing rooms with others and am craving for more privacy now. I'm a friendly and chill person, who enjoys good conversations but doesn't mind to be quiet and do my own things. I make delicious food and sometimes I like to make plenty of it to share with the lovely people I live with! Last but not least, I'm respectful and open-minded, most important qualities to share a flat with others! So if you're like-minded with me, I'm looking forward to having you as my flatmate! :)
Hi, my name is Harry, 23 years old and born and raised in the Netherlands. Approximately 5 months I started my world travels and now I'm planning to stay and live in Melbourne for the next year (approx. Till March 2018.) I'm currently working as a bartender in cbd so I'm looking for a place to stay in or close to the city centre. I'm a fun and outgoing person who enjoys a beer from time to time. Besides bartending and traveling, I'm really into filmmaking (mainly short documentaries), going to festivals and dancing to some nice beats. I'm not very good writing these things, but if you have any questions, just let me know!
Hey future roomies! I'm a late 20s Canadian guy who is an absolute delight to live with. I'm working part time and I've got at least 2 friends so between my career and bustling social life I don't have a lot of spare time. When I do, however, get time to myself I like to: -Explore (I've travelled 5 countries in the past 12 months) -Discover new music ... Spotify - the final frontier -Develop professionally (with "how to" videos on youtube) -Read (subtitles when I have to) -Contemplate the possibility that we're all actually living in a video game -Freestyle rap battle against myself in the shower I'm outgoing and sociable but underneath the veil of confidence is a bit of a nerd. I'm technically a Mechanical Engineer and I have idols like Elon Musk, Nikola Tesla, and Mr. Burns. If I could be anyone in the world I'd be either Tom Hardy or Aladin. Most importantly I'm mature, respectful of shared living spaces, and promptly clean up after myself. I can't wait to be your new roommate! Alan
I am Iris a 37 year old doctor, working full time, i just moved to Melbourne and i am looking for a safe place to live. I am tidy, considerate of others, out going and generally would enjoy living with sociable people but not in a party house.
I'm a 18 year old female university student, looking for a private room in a safe, healthy environment in a closer area to the city. I’m a positive, friendly and easy to get along with person who enjoys good company but also respect and like some time to my self. I’m currently in my first year in Bachelor of interior design at rmit. I'm mostly studying, working and keeping fit. I work as a waitress/bartender in the city and spend a lot of mine time in the and around the city for both work and uni. I’m always down to chill, have a drink and enjoy having a good chat! oh and if your close to or along either the 96, or 109 tram line that would be even better!
My name is Anas but you can call me "Nis" which is easier, I'm 24, first year mechanical engineering student so I still have long way to go. i'm from Saudi Arabia, but my mom is lebanese so basically am half saudi half lebanese. I'm friendly, kind, clean, tidy and optimistic person. I enjoy playing online games, gyming , volleyball and watching movies or hanging out with friends, but sadly I have very few friends here. Sometimes I cook really healthy and tasty food, not vegan food tho :p. the leas length depends on how I feel tbh! hit me back if you're interested, and I'd be happy to answer if you have any questions?
Hi, my name is Andreas, Im a german Backpacker in my 30's. Im a tidy, clean, respectful person who loves to socialise and make new friends. I have a good sense of humor. I'm looking to share with chilled out friendly people like myself who like to go out occasionally and enjoy the odd evening cooking together and hanging out. I'm a non smoker. I'm looking forward to getting to know my future housemates and new home.
So my girl friend and I work in hospitality full time but occasionally have a night off to relax and put on a few kgs, because we have both had day jobs and worked night shift we are very considerate when it comes to people's body clock and schedules. I have been staying in a hostel for about a month while my Imogen is still in Brisbane yet to move to Melbourne. We both love animals and are wanting to own a bunny rabbit and possibly a puppy further down the track. I (Isirie) don't smoke but Imogen occasionally does, we are hoping to find someone who is easy going, tidy, doesn't mind an occasional Netflix, champagne and pizza night in. We are also big on personal space :)
Hey my name is Pelle. I travelled a lot the last year and would like to settle down a bit. I have lived the past two month's in Melbourne working and saving up some money and would like to stay at least another 6 month's in Melbourne. I work in the city. But of course life isn't only about working and I am always in for a laugh/beer/talk. I already lived in shared flats and take responsibilities like sharing bills and housework seriously. I hope to hear from you, Greetings Pelle
Hey! my name is Elisa and I am from the north of Italy. I would describe me as a very sociable, respectful and openminded person. I am an exchange student at the William Angliss University. I am looking for an apartment to share with other friendly people which also like to go for a drink together or to have a chat. I am tidy, organised, I value my own personal space and respect others.
