Hello! I'm Emily. I'm almost 29 years old. And, I will be doing post-grad coursework at the University of Melbourne starting in July. I'm so excited to be moving to Melbourne! About me: born in Alabama but lived most of my adult life in California, former U.S. Navy, love to: cook, read, run and hit the weight room, ride and work on motorcycles (yes, you read that correctly), travel, listen to music, see plays/shows, watch movies, enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, and I'm slightly pilates obessed. I'm responsible, financially stable and independent, health-conscious (non-smoker, mostly vegetarian diet), respectful of privacy, clean and organized 1) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! CARLTON, FITZROY, NORTH CARLTON, NORTH MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK EAST, PARKVILLE and COLLINGWOOD. Short walk/public transit commute to the University of Melbourne and near free tram zone. Would love to be in a location close to coffee, a great gym and shopping, you know all the good stuff. 2) I study at home (mainly me staring at a laptop and writing far too much), so I need a private bedroom with enough space for a desk too. And though I like to socialize occassionally, I am looking for a relaxing space with ideally no more than 3 other flatmates total. A private bathroom would be nice, but I'm willing to share a bathroom with 1 other person. I've lived with couples, all girls and mixed guy/girl houses. Overall, I actually think mixed houses are the most fun, but I'm open to living with pretty much anyone who is genuine and respectful of space and privacy. Housing must have internet/internet capability and a laundry washing machine. Big, nice kitchen. Hopefully, some bit of communal garden, patio or outdoor space. Willing to go up to $400 a week for the right spot, but price must match quality. 3) My program is 1.5 years,so if I found the right spot, I'd be happy to stay longer than 6 months. Though I will not have any pets, I love animals! So, if you have a house-trained doggy or kitty, I'm totally fine with it. Would love for my housemates to become good friends. And will someone please teach me how Aussie Rules Football works! I'm dying to see some games and learn about the sport. I ask that any housemates be respectful, responsible and clean up after themselves and, I will hold myself with the same standards. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider me! :)
Hi everybody, My name is Jonathan and I'm someone very friendly. I need to live somewhere where it's tidy and clean. I think to be someone pretty discreet and easygoing. I'm a Physical Trainer and I have a sport life style, I will be happy to share that with my new housemates :) I am impatient to meet you.
Hey! We're two psychology students from Norway who are going to study at University of Melbourne for one semester (from July to November). We've been friends since we started studying at University of Bergen in 2014. Vivian is very tidy and clean, and Anders is also tidy and clean most of the time hehe 🙂 We're both very sociable, caring and love having fun. Of course, we're also serious students. Occasionally... It's kind of difficult to tell you what we like to do, because we're both interested in culture, news, politics, technology and so on. We're just really adaptable, and willing to try new things. We're the kind that can stay home an evening to watch movies, go on a full night party or even a hiking trip. The keyword is "variety"! We're not going to be in Melbourne until the start of July, but would love to move in to the flat as soon as possible. We would love an apartment with two bedrooms for ourselves, but we don't mind sharing flats with other likeminded people either! The most important part is that the flat is at a convenient distance from the university, is clean and tidy and at a convenient price! Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about us! Best regards, Anders and Vivian
Hey my name is Kimberley, originally from Adelaide. I work in the CBD and I enjoy going out for dinner and watching tv. I like to keep to my self and also socialise. I’m looking for either short or long term, hoping to become more friends than strangers in the house. I have had such bad luck with share housing always drugs or drama involved looking for something drug free 😊

Hey I’m Kate! I’m 25 and I’m looking to move back to Melbourne from Tassie. I’m currently working as a flight attendant with QantasLink but am about to join with Virgin based in Melbourne at the end of May. I’m happy to secure a place and start paying rent from the start of May. I’ve previously lived in melbs for 4 years and have been living in share houses since I was 18, so I’d like to think I’m pretty good at it! Up until the end of June I’ll be in training, so will be working 9-5, mon-fri and will be studying quite a lot. After that my schedule varies from month to month, I can sometimes work weekends and can have up to 10 overnights away from home per month (though it’s usually more like 5). I’m super easy going, clean, respectful and love hanging out, relaxing, having the occasional bev, also appreciate time to myself (living a balanced kinda life). Hope to hear from you 😜
Hey peeps, Looking for somewhere to stay close-ish to the University of Melbourne, if anyone has a room free please let me know! I am also open to starting a new sharehouse if anyone is looking for someone to join-up with them. About me; I recently moved from Perth - enjoy a bunch of things like cooking, gardening, camping/outdoors, seeing live music, festivals, skateboarding and just chilling with friends. I'm pretty easygoing and respectful to my housemates, always tidy and considerate. I like a good balance between spending time on my own and with housemates and would be up for dinners and drinks together. I'm flexible with move-in date and length of stay, I'll be studying in Melbourne for the next two years.
I'm Ana from Colombia. I'm a full time post grad student at RMIT and I'm also working part time in the CBD . My boyfriend, who is also a Colombian student and full time cook, and I are looking for a room to share. love cooking, eating and trying new beers. If you want to know a little bit more about us we are happy to answer any questions.
I've been in Melbourne for four years now - I grew up in Adelaide and spent a year in Sydney between. Ex-lawyer now working in payment tech for events, so if you like a good show, I've always got some tickets to share. In my spare time I run some industry passion projects, as well as am a freelance writer. I'm getting into a work out habit, so bonus points if that's your forte. I've been living in share houses for a few years so I'm respectful and used to the deal. I'm clean, reliable and pay things on time. Always down to share a meal with housemates, grab a beer or keep it quiet. All I need in a housemate is someone who's tidy, reliable with bills and drama free. I'm looking for ideally a house but will settle on an apartment with the right people. Some outdoor space would be great! I have a car so included parking would be ideal.
My Name is Shazia and i am looking for a room for both myself and my partner. I am 22 and he is 26. Hi there, I'm a french man coming to live in Australia. My girlfriend is from Melbourne which is the main reason of my presence here :) but I'm looking for a flat for myself only. Being under the working holiday visa status I'll be looking for a temporary consulting mission until I can get a permanent residency. I've lived in shared flat for 7 years in different countries with people from all around the world. I can speak fluent French, Spanish and English. I've always enjoyed sharing moment with my flatmates: have dinner, drinks, go out at night, have a chill Sunday run to get the body back on track for Monday morning or even reggaeton flat cleaning sessions. I'm always ready for a good laugh, I love cooking heartwarming dishes and decorate the house with funky stuff! I'll be available from the 24th of April to come and see the flat. Cheers, Antoine
Hey everybody, I'm Brad and I'm a Kiwi looking for a new flat in Melbourne. I currently work as software support in Glen Waverley and looking for a place either close to work or to the city. I'm a quiet house mate that keeps mostly to myself but I'm always up to hang out or chat about anything (from work to world events).
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but generally am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message! Keen to arrange a meeting asap. If you're one of those that keep their tomato sauce in the fridge, don't bother. Ta.
