I'm moving to Melbourne from regional northern Victoria to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice and affordable place to live. I'm introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
hi I'm Skyler I am a 23 years old Chinese girl who study in Rmit in master of IT. I have a positive attitude to life and easy to be impressed, love trying new things and make new friends. I'm also clean, tidy and quiet. I have shared with others in one room (4 ppl)for 4 years in my university, my roommates all became my close friends. I have traveled alone around China, so I am pretty independent. I also have been to Europe through couch surfing and host some couch surfers from all over the world in my house in China, I am really open minded and respectful. I've been sharing for a house with an old lady in the past 5 months, we had great time together. I have to go back to China for Chinese new year. Hopefully there are someone who rent their room around 21st February 2017. My interests are video games, traveling, painting, music, fitness, cooking, self-improving, and anything interesting. It would be great to team up with a nice roommate who has some same interests :D
Hi, I'm Shahzad (aka Shaz). I'm 32, male, kiwi (well I have been in Melbourne for 6+ years now) and a full time professional working in the CBD. I'm an engineering project manager that loves tinkering with things so great to have around if you need anything fixed :) In terms of what matters more, I'm very clean with kitchen & bathroom stuff (love domestos) but may accidentally leave the odd (small) thing in the livingroom. Despite being an engineer, I'm a bit padentic on grammar but other than that love having conversations and sharing stories while respecting peoples boundaries, space, possessions etc. I've lived in share houses before so pretty familiar with the drill :) My current place is on Victoria St in North Melbourne so I know the area well, member at the gym on Errol St etc. Regards, Shaz.
I am a fun person to hang out with, but also respect privacy. I am social, open-minded and honest. I am an international student from Spain, studying biochemistry at the University of Melbourne. Looking forward to meeting you.
Hi there, We are 3 young professionals; Luke 28 works as a chef, Grant, 25 works as a tiler and Annie works for a media agency. We are all really easy going and get on with anyone. Love a chilled environment but also like the occasional big night out and adventurous camping trip. We are respectful and tidy and look for people the same in housemates. Love sun sea and sand and live music wherever we can see it with a cheeky festival thrown in there. If you want anymore information then give us a call and we can have a little chat Cheers Annie, Luuk and Grant :)
Hey! My name is Fernando, 24 years old this year and from Bendigo, VIC. I'm a really nice and friendly person to hang with and always up for a chat. I'm a very responsible and reliable person, and definitely like to keep things clean, neat and tidy. I also respect people's privacy and always willing to help out and be there for others when needed. I'm about to start a full time position at NAB docklands so I'm in need for a place to stay! A few hobbies of mine are sports such as AFL, badminton, cricket and tennis. I also enjoy catching up with mates and also just relaxing kicking back at home watching some movies and tv shows.
My name is Annaliese and I just finished being a fulltime student at RMIT (for the past 4 years) studying the Bachelor of Fashion Design Honours course. I work in the city, so I'm looking for a place with great public transport. I am looking to be put on a lease and to move into a new place asap. I am currently living in Brunswick. I am quite a homebody and enjoy sewing, a few wines, and a Netflix marathon or two. I own an industrial sewing machine which I need space for, (I own a Juki machine mounted on a table), along with a double bed, bedside draws and chest of draws. I also own several cube units, a kitchen bench, an outdoor setting and a fridge, but I can put those into storage if needed. Please get into contact if you think I might work in your house/apartment! I'll be looking at places all week.
Emily and I are moving over from Perth - we both can suss out temp accomodation when we move over early Feb but would love to have something more solid either organised or at least considered. I'm a freelance designer with Perth, Melbourne and US clients, I'll end up getting a studio space once we're settled but for now work from my laptop either home or at out. Emily is studying part time and will find a job - she has packing to support herself until then! While we're up for finding a 2 bedroom place, we're open to a third room mate if it's the right person! We're both super creative and fun people, love socialising but also love our own personal space when we need it! We're both making the move living in WA all our life - while we know Melbourne, new friends is always a plus!
Hi! My name is Isabelle, I am a 20 year old Lighting/Audiovisual Technician. I recently graduated from RMITs Live Production Diploma course and now I'm looking to move closer to the city so I can commit to more work. I will contribute to cleaning up shared living spaces of the house and cooking meals/buying groceries. But privacy and respect of one anothers rooms and selves is my main rule. Don't get me wrong though, because I love to hangout and chill with a couple of beers. I am a pretty relaxed person who thinks honesty is the best policy. I work consistently with two companies plus freelance work on the side.
I'm an easy going person who absolutely loves plants! I have a habit of turning my room into an indoor forest, so I can hide away with a good book and some amazing food. I'm very social and easy going. I'm moving to the University of Melbourne to focus on studies, but I'm keen to join a share house where I look forward to coming home to a great bunch of friends!

Hey there! My name is Shivani and I am moving to Melbourne in early 2017. Originally from Sydney, I am looking for a change of scenery in Melbourne. I work full-time for a think tank. I am sociable, active, clean and love to travel. I am always happy to have a chat and share a meal or a drink, but completely understand that everyone needs their privacy and space. Looking for like-minded people to share a home with.
We are desperately looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. We arrive the 19th and want to stay for almost two months. We are two backpackers from Belgium, both 18 years old and we want to see Australia (everything) in 8 months. We both graduated from college and decided to see a bit of the world. We are very flexible and everything will do, as long as we'll have a roof above our heads. Kind regards Gust & Yasuni
Hi. I'm 29 years old. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. I love to travel, i have worked in Canada and England. For the last six years i have worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have recently acquired a primary school teaching position. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. She loves to cook and have a glass of wine. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male or Female housemates are welcome to contact me. I am currently working in the country outside Melbourne and would be available to move in around the 15th-20th of January. I am looking for a place for myself until April, and after that I will be looking for two people.
Recently took a semester off to travel - now that I'm back I'm looking for somewhere to call home! I'm an engineering student by trade (completing a diploma of beauty therapy on the side). Respectful, tidy, and house trained. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, trying to jog, eating, playing board games, exploring the city, and binging on Netflix. I tend to keep quite busy but am also the type to be down for a glass of wine on occasion. I would prefer someplace in the inner city suburbs either close to a train station or a few tram lines (mostly because I'm still yet to get my P's!). P.S. I can cook - sort of P.P.S I can also come with an xbox one with kinect and apple TV

Hey i'm Pierre, Im looking for a house with fun people and a social/communal environment. I work part time at Crown and study Part time at Monash Clayton so ideally the house is somewhere between these 2 points but really it's more important to me to enjoy who i live with. I like movies, reading, travelling, hanging out with friends gaming etc. I'm easy going, clean, respectful, charming, handsome, intelligent, funny and above all humble (seriously though according to this website everyone is clean and respectful ). and i come with a collection of boardgames and nothing brings people together like hating the winner together. I am aware makes me sound like a giant nerd, which, is pretty accurate.
I m friendly, and easy going .Looking for a room to share with lovely people. I like making new friends .I am tidy and quiet. So can easly adjust in any kind of living envirment Thanks
Currently, I am working as a freelancer doing many projects, dependent on the client. So, I do spend a lot of time at home, most of which I will spend in my room/office space. My cat Mackerel is both an indoor and outdoor cat and is extremely well-behaved and toilet trained. You might find him lounging around wherever is the comfiest spot. In a home, I most definitely am looking for housemates that are respectful and people I can have good conversations with. I work from home, so it definitely is important to me to have housemates who are independent and respectful. Cannot live in party houses or "half-way" houses -- I prefer and will only live with adults, who are respectful and understanding. Good taste in music, literature and films are also a whopping huge bonus. In terms of a physical home, just somewhere cosy that feels like home -- a sanctuary, not necessarily a palace. Gardens are extremely favourable.
Hi I'm Zizi, And I would love to be your roommate! I'm looking for somewhere to live while studying my Graduate Diploma of Journalism at Melbourne Uni. What I lack in cooking skills I make up for in tidiness and good conversation. I'm in Sydney at the moment but I would love to Skype anyone interested in a new roommate!
Hey there, I'm Dave Montgomery I'm working full time currently at Brighton Toyota. I'm needed a new place to move too early 2017. I've lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm originally from New Zealand. I'm a single fun loving guy, I'm a hard worker, I love socialising. Looking for a great place for the next year.
Hello world! My name is Millie, I'm a student at Monash Clayton and I also work in retail ~3 days a week so that I can spend money on things that make me happy like tea and going camping. I am a bit of a nature junkie, so I'm always on the look out for buddies to take on hiking trips or spontenous bushwalks. I'm currently on exchange in Copenhagen but I will be returning to Australian soil at the end of Feb. I'm Tassie born and bred, and I fly home once every month or two to visit the fam. I love having friends around for coffees or cozy little dinner parties every now and then, and I am always down for a beer and a good laugh in the evenings. I try to take my studies seriously (ha) so I do tend to be a little quiet during the week. I've been travelling and moving around quite a bit over the past year, so I'm looking to put my roots down somewhere nice and start building a proper nest - I'm happy to reconsider the budget if it is the perfect place! Hit me up if you think I sound semi-bearable and if you've got a place available from the end of Feb!
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I work as courier on the side now which lets me pay bills and keep active. Outside of that I've started Calisthenics training, as well as Dance and Piano lessons. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.
I am 26 year old female, studying my masters at Melbourne uni and also working part time as a social worker. I have lived in a few share houses in the past and have remained friends with most of my housemates, that doesn't mean that we (future housemate) have to be the best of friends but we can have a friendly environment/home :). I enjoy spending time with people but I also enjoy my own space and time to myself. - When I'm not working I'll be doing uni assignments at home, gym, out and about with friends etc...
Hi, I moved to Melbourne about 4 months ago and I'm looking for a new place to live with another 30-something woman who loves cats as well and also enjoys a glass of wine in the evening. Looking for an unfurnished room in Brunswick/Coburg area. I'm currently working as a professional for the government but would like to work part-time next year so I can pursue study in photography and creative writing as they're both hobbies that I've been passionate about for some time now. I'm clean, respectful, and quiet. I'm quite houseproud so I'll do my fair share of the work around the house and I believe in open, and honest communication to avoid drama. I believe in creating a home, not just a share house, where both people can feel welcome and well - at home. I'm wanting to live in an adult home, which means clean and tidy and a strong belief for mutual respect. I'm not a party person, and I'm quiet and usually just want to come home and relax at the end of a long day by reading a book and curling up with my cat, so I would love a housemate who has the same interests. My cat, who goes by the name of Spaz, is currently residing with my mother and I would like to bring her (my cat) to Melbourne to live with me again. She's 8 years old and has started to develop arthritis in her back legs. She loves going outside though, and even though she can be a little bit territorial towards other cats, she has lived with others before and with enough patience, she can learn to enjoy the company of another cat (if you have one), and frankly I think she needs it with how much I work. On a side note - I do have tattoos and dreadlocks. I look like a massive hippy on the outside, and I'm a bit adventurous as I like to travel as much as I can - but please don't let that deter you! I'm actually quite a contradiction and reserved and quiet and I steer clear of drugs. At the end of the day, if you're looking for another woman who believes in creating a peaceful, loving and friendly home that won't create drama, is quiet and clean, and will talk to you openly rather than be passive aggressive, then I'm your woman. Send me a message and let's meet up :)
Hello potentials, Easy going, clean, respectful, socialable lad . I work in hotel management and as a barber as well. Hello, I´m Daniel from Germany, I work full-time in construction in Melbourne and want to live for a few month in one of the best cities of the world. I´m tidy, easy going and respectful. I enjoy always a good conversation, maybe with a drink. I like parties at the weekend but really not every weekend.
Hi there! I am a friendly, relaxed, tidy, animal loving, vegetarian, full-time working professional. I am a competitive cheerleader and like to be active and healthy. I also enjoy relaxing in my (very) limited free-time and putting my feet up to Netflix and a hot chocolate. I have a 3 year old Dalmatian (Obedience trained to level 4), and a 6 year old Cat. Both very chilled, quiet and great share-house pets (can provide pet references). I'm looking for a relaxed, respectful atmosphere where people are happy to socialise together and also respect each others personal space/belongings.
Hi! I am professional in Advertising, from Colombia but lived and worked in Buenos Aires for 8 years and now here in Melbourne. I am doing a part-time internship and looking for a casual job as well. I've lived with many people while being in the University, so I am very social and easygoing, enjoy having a good conversation but I also understand and respect other people's space, I am very tidy and clean and would love to live with someone that shares the same thoughts :) Currently living in Hawthorn East and I need to move in January 12. I am looking for a long-term private room.
Very easy going, tidy, responsible. Enjoy kicking back and having a beer / wine, mainly on weekends. I'm a bit of a nerd, both technology wise, but also in terms of home appliances (the industry I work in), so if we need to get anything for the house, chances are that I have a connection. I work Monday to Friday 9-5, mainly on the road. Looking to set myself up with a good fitness regime wherever I move to as it has lapsed from what it used to be. I enjoy a good TV episode or two, or a bit of a chat at the end of a day to unwind.
I'm a girl from Finland looking for accommodation in Melbourne. I'm tidy and respectful towards other people and I have lived with very different kind of people in the past so I get along with anyone. I like to socialize and go to swim on my freetime.
Myself and my friend will be coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering & will be in Australia for 2 years. We both prefer a single room at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
We are sociable and extremely tidy! We are pretty easy going and are happy to spend time with others and also by ourselves! We are looking for people similar to us to live with for 4-6months as wen are fairly new to Melbourne!
Hi there! I'm Nayanika, 22, from India. I'll be visiting Melbourne for my Research Training at Victoria University for 6 months from the 3rd week of March 2017. I'm looking for a place in CBD which is close to the Melbourne Central Station. I need flatmates who maintain cleanliness and hygiene. I'm kind, friendly, open-minded and an independent person. I respect people's privacy. I love travelling and exploring new places, meeting people from cross-cultural backgrounds. I'm also a foodie! and enjoy cooking. I am easy-going and adjusting in new places would't be a problem. I am a tidy person. I'm quiet and I keep to myself most of the time but I wouldn't mind tagging along for a grub here and there.
I am a very easy going person who loves to socialise. I'm from Salisbury in England and 20 yrs old. I like going out but prefer being somewhere a bit more chilled with a pint of beer. I'm currently working in hospitality however I won't have a job as soon as I move to Melbourne but currently still have a enough saved for a couple months rent. Would be fab to live with people who enjoy socialising together maybe even doing little trips together and making dinner together is always fun!
I'm a 20 year old medical student looking for a place near the city. I'm generally kept pretty busy with study, but I like touristing around Melbourne or going out for lunch, and try to drag myself to the gym at least once a week. Next year I'm more likely to stay in for some Netflix and tea, but I do enjoy going out to bars or having a couple of friends over for drinks. Looking for a small sharehouse or unit to call home for at least a year. Ideal flatmates are easy going people around the same age, happy to share meals (I hope you like spaghetti!), and will keep up their half of the housework.
I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me. My move date is pretty flexible. I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I've also just picked up a part-time warehousing job that I'll be starting in the next fortnight. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I'll be able to source my own quickly (I have a blowup mattress I can use until I get a bed) and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 4 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either.
I am a friendly easy going person, who like her privacy but also to have a beer and a great conversation during weekends. I am from Mexico City and I've been living in Australia (Brisbane) for almost 2 years. I recently moved in to Melbourne for a job opportunity and I am looking a nice place to live. I love to watch movies and TV shows either on my laptop of with the flatmates. I love to work out and also to read. I am not a noise person, I usually stands up early to go to the school or work, I am hard worker and love animals specially sea animals and dogs.
Down to earth, clean, sane, and outgoing American guy who has been living abroad for 3 years and has no reason to go home because... well.. Trump. Currently residing in Auckland and moving to Melbourne for a badass job in the health and fitness field as well as expanded my own online business. A good time on the weekend but won't bring it back home. Have a beer with me and I promise you won't hate me.
I'm 25 years old from the country town of Kyneton! I am a pool installer and is based in coburg north on Sydney road. Looking to move closer to work as I recently lost my lisence. I am a clean and tidy person , love to socialize and have fun! I'm very respectful and will treat the house like it's my own. My work hours are from 7 until roughly 5 and I play cricket/footy on Saturdays . I hope to hear from you asap :)
Well we are 2 chilled out Brits. We met back at school and have been together ever since. We enjoy meeting new people, travelling, and stereotypically drink tea every 30 minutes 🙂 We’re looking for a flat share with like-minded relaxed people. After graduating from university and living in London for 5 years, we decided to take a leap and begin our own business, which also allowed us to move around at the same time. We’ve been working-travelling for a few months now and have been to some cool places. And we’re very excited to see Australia as we’ve never been! We’ve known several people who moved to Sydney from the UK and have only heard good things. We work full time Monday to Friday on our business, so our only requirements are a stable internet connection and just somewhere to sit and use our laptops in the day. We’re a highly respectful couple who love to look after ourselves, eat well and live well. We enjoy cooking and love circuit training and hitting the gym. But we still enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a week too!
Hi I'm Stacey, 22 & moving to Melbourne in mid/late January. I'm very easy going & get along with everyone. Have a good sense of humour, neat, tidy & respectful. I enjoy cooking & keeping fit & healthy. Love to explore the outdoors & always in search for the latest trendy cafe or pop-up bar. Although I love being social, I do appreciate down time & often find myself on the couch watching OffSpring & enjoying a glass of wine... or two! If you think we would get along well, I would love to hear from you :)
We are a young couple from Tasmania, looking to move to Melbourne for work. We are both very clean and always clean up after ourselves. We are very easy going people and like meeting new people but we are also very quiet too. We enjoy travelling and spending our weekends out exploring. You won't have any trouble or problems with us. We would prefer to move in with another couple and would like a more modern unit or apartment, however we are open to look at anything. We would like to get a place somewhat close to the train station as we would only be bringing one car over. Maddison works in Tasmania as a payroll officer and Tom works as a teachers aide and child educator. These are the professions we would most likely continue in Melbourne. Maddison and I enjoy travelling spending our weekends out in the city; shopping and eating out but we also enjoy going to the beach and going on bush walks. If you have any questions or would like to talk to us more please feel free to message us. Thanks Tom and Maddison.
Hey guys, my names Josh. I'm 22. I'm looking to move from NZ to Melbourne soon. I work as a cocktail bartender and am looking to live somewhere near the city. I'm quite chill and open minded. I enjoy going to the gym, socializing, hanging out with flatmates and having a few drinks . So I'm looking to move in with people around my age that enjoy hanging out and exploring the city. Move in date and location is flexible. Thanks!
