We are a married couple who'll be moving to Melbourne towards the end of March 2017. We have a 4 year old daughter who goes to school. I am a chartered accountant, my husband is an ex-army officer and currently a musician. We like to party and live life to the fullest. We go kayaking, mountaineering and hiking together which makes us an adventurous and fun-loving couple. Other than that, we are a young; very easy-going couple who gel in with people quite easily. We like to lead a routine life that starts with a 5 a.m. jog/ gym and ends at 10 pm except for weekends.
Hey. My name is Sophie and i am a student starting a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne Uni. My final goal is to complete a medical degree and specialise in surgery. I am very social, respectful and tidy and have many hobbies including two instruments, language club and salsa dancing. I am also a non-smoker and would prefer to share with other non-smokers. I enjoy travel having been on exchange an can speak German. I will likely keep myself busy and out of the house most of the time as I have a part time job organising business events which occupies me some weekends and holidays as well a a busy social life and full-time study. Looking forward to hearing from any who feels I might be a suitable flatmate:)
Laid back couple, easy to get on with and we love cooking with and for people so we'll be making all the meals haha. We just want to find a nice base that we can relax in and enhance our Australian adventure :)
Currently wanting to branch out and live in a new share house. I'm a full time student studying at Swinburne University of Technology and I also work part time. I'm a friendly, fun and bubbly person, who always loves a laugh, enjoys jokes and of course a glass of wine! I love seeing and doing new things, meeting new people, hanging out and having fun. I do enjoy my personal space, and respect that of others. If interested, please contact me :)
Hey, am a fresh grad who just started working in the city so preferably somewhere close would be great. I'm a clean person (or so I think) and sociable! Most of all a responsible one, on time for bills and etc. Can keep to myself and also up for a drinks like so many on here are anyway... Not really a party person but always down for something fun. Pretty much that I guess? If it matters, I don't smoke, good with pets (my pic has a dog with me but it's not showing). Right now I'm looking for a third person to share an apartment with along with another guy! If you're keen about knowing more, just message me and maybe we can have a drink and talk about it!
Self employed girl geak engineer and electronic music lover. I am looking for a new home with people who have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a wine and chat from time to time. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is where it's at. Flexible with move dates, ideally mid to late March. If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I love animals but don't have any. It would be cool to live with someone who has a dog, happy to help out walking it sometimes even. 6 months minimum is preferred because it's a bit of a mission changing homes. :)
We are a fun, easy going couple from London, taking a year out from our 'real lives' to enjoying this beautiful country. We enjoy spending time with our housemates but are equally respectful of your personal space and privacy- happy to chill with you when home or not if you prefer. We both work full time in hospitality. We both enjoy staying in for a quiet one, but also going out to party, depending on the day! We'd love to be your new flatmates, please get in contact if you think you might have the room/space for us :) Carolanna and Mike
Easy going chilled 23yo aussie female. Looking for 1 bedroom apartment for just my self or would team up with the right people in share house. I love socializing, weekdays & weekends.. life's to short to only count down the days until the weekend right? I will be working away every second week so only living there one week of a fortnight. I have a awesome job, but I also have a awesome socal life:) in saying all this my life is drama free & no trouble will be involved. Let me know what you have or if you think I will fit in your house share.
We are a french couple looking for an accommodation ASAP. We are easy to live with, we respect space and sleep of our room mates. We are clean and organized. We want to stay in Melbourne during our WHV to work here, enjoy cultural life and meet new people.
Hey all! The name's Angus and I'm easy going, level headed, enjoy good company and am tidy. I'm a working musician (drummer) currently in 5 bands - so that means I'm looking for a house which would provide a practice space for my drum kit. If a shed/ garage in your stay has space I can easily sound proof it no worries! I'm currently working in door to door sales but am planning on getting a forklift licence and working in warehousing. Send me a message or give me a call!
Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lives. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.
Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, laid back, gay, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
I'm from the UK and have been travelling in Australia on a working holiday visa since January. I'm now looking to work in Melbourne for 2-4 months. My field of work is in education administration and I am looking to get an administration job in Melbourne. My main interests are sport, in particular tennis, and going to see live music. I'd describe myself as a very tidy and laid back person and I'm looking to find a nice private room somewhere fairly central in Melbourne.
Im a part-time visual arts student looking for a small self contained flat or studio space close to transport into the city. Im quiet and self dependant, not a partier at all, I work hard to support myself but right now I'm commuting back and forth between Melbourne and Rural Victoria, which is a difficult task, and I would like to relocate permanently. My move date Isn't set in stone but i would like to be living in Melbourne as soon as possible.
I am currently a Manager for cotton on relocating to Melbourne. I am a very laid back guy, easy to get along with and very respectable. I am a bit of a clean freak so cleaning up after myself wont be an issue! I will be working 4 days one week and 6 days the following week in a fortnight, so I wont be around all the time. I am very into my health and fitness and love to have a bit of fun on the weekend! I am a very easy person to get along with, but also know how to and respect personal space :)
I am 23 and working in the health industry with a full time job. I am very reliable with paying rent and have rented through an agent and privately before. I am clean, respectful and like to be social but also like my own space. I am from the country originally therefore very friendly and like to go to the beach, cook and bake delicious food and be active outdoors as much as possible. Also enjoy a good night out with friends on the weekends.
Heya I'm Johnny ! I'm 23 and work as a barista in south Yarra. Love down time and relaxing when the working week allows but also enjoy being social every now and then. I'm not a loud person and I always try to be respectful and considerate of others. Looking for a place to call home and friends to call family. Let's catch up for a coffee !
Hello I'm Justin Tan from Malaysia. I've been around Melbourne for 5 years and I am currently working as a chef in Melbourne. I am a very easy going individual with a very relaxed spirit. More importantly I am a clean and tidy person which makes me a very pleasant housemate. Last but not least I love to cook up food that will make people happy! :)
I'm travelling from Canada on a working holiday visa with my partner Alex. I'm a vet nurse, he's into marketing management. We've been living and working in Cairns for the past 6 months, made a stopover in Bali and will be arriving to Melbourne on Monday 27th. We are looking for a room for 1 week while we get settled in and find long term accommodation. We are quite, professional, down to earth people. Hopefully this short notice arrangement can work. Thank you
50% Brazilian, 50% French and a big cup of coffee addiction for both of us. Easy going, we are looking for a room in a share flat with some people who love good food and sometimes sharing one (or two ... or three) glass of wine.
Hey there potential flatmates! My name is Aisha (pronounced Ayyy-sha) and I have recently moved to Melbourne from the nations capital. I have secured work at a cute lil cafe in Camberwell, and I'll be doing some online study come mid March but until, then I'd like to find a place to home myself and my belongings. I am a friendly mature gal, always up for a bit of banter. I am clean and tidy, I try to stay relatively active and I like to cook (mostly because I like to eat). I drink an average of 6 cups of tea a day, brunch is my favourite meal and I enjoy the occasional weekend bev and social outing. So if you're looking for a housemate that doubles as a friend, pls do send me a message! xx
Hello ! We are a tidy french couple looking for a sharehouse in Melbourne. We would love meet new foreign mates with who share our experience as travelers and enjoy the australian way of life. Clean, quiet and non-smocker. Thank you for your help. Martin & Agathe.
Moving down to Melbourne with my girlfriend and am looking for a house somewhere close to the city with cool people to live with. We are really easy going and can get along with anyone, super tidy, chilled out, love to hang out but also respect the fact that people like their own down time and space.
Hello all people on the hunt for a housemate! First of all, please excuse my giant face. Every photo I try to upland somehow turns into a slightly unflattering close up. Anyhow, I am a bubbly and positive human being, and have just moved to Melbourne. I study full time at Deakin (sport and exercise science) and hope to find work in the industry once settled in my new home. I love spending my free time in the kitchen, or being active whether it be in the gym, doing yoga, dancing, walks, or general adventuring. Occasionally the couch gets the best of me and I may spend the day binge watching a series on Netflix. I like having a clean and serene space to call home. I do enjoy my "alone time", especially after busy days, but I would love to find a place to share stories and grow into friends with my housemate(s). My partner lives in Sydney, so I would be going away for a weekend every now and then, but I hope to find a place where he would also be welcome to stay over on occasion. I'd prefer to find a room that is at least partially furnished, as my possessions are quite limited. Still open to finding any space that feels like home though. My budget going up to $250 would hopefully include the bills and internet, or at least most of them, though this is negotiable depending on other details - so please don't hesitate to ask! My preferred length of stay of 3 months can extend to be significantly longer if the place is right, but I would like to see how I settle in in the area and if it is convenient for my weekly schedule. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you believe we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you. Warmest regards, Anniina
Hey! I'm 23 year old guy from Ireland. Recently moved to Melbourne and working full time. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Always up for hanging out and having a laugh! I've house shared loads before, always clean and tidy up after myself and have previous landlord references and all that jazz too if needed.
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Hi! My name is Patrick and I'm a 27 year german from Berlin. I arrived in Melbourne at the beginning of Feb and working since then full time (weekdays 9 to 6ish) for Foodora (this pink food delivery company) as a Key Account Manager. I’m social, active, respectful and an all round great guy :) I like to spend my free time going to events around the city, in the gym, hanging out with friends, watching movies and etc. But I´m always ready to try new activities! For example, spotting weird animals has been my new hobby in Australia. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. I'm also responsible, clean and reliable - just a classic german ;) I'm happy to do my bit around the house and will take care of the rent and bills without a hassle. Not too interested in a party house, but a friendly and easy-going share-house environment. Feel free to contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested :)
Hi! I'm looking for a house in St Kilda to share with one other person. I come with a fair bit of furniture so if that's where you're lacking then I can help you out. I tend to keep to myself during the week but don't mind a cheeky drink or a few over the weekend along with a bit of a boogie. I work full time while attempting to study at home. I enjoy riding my bike whenever I get the chance or hanging out at the park for a chat. I like to think I'm a pretty laid back housemate. Responsible, tidy, respectful and whatever else wins me a home. I'm looking for a place to stay 6months-1year.
I'm a friendly guy with a healthy sense of humour who works full time at Monash Uni. I wouldn't mind living with people who are down for a chat, or to hang out and watch netflix
I work part-time as a registered nurse. I'm looking for an unfurnished room for 12 months. A little bit about me ... I'm friendly, easy-going and sociable. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. When I'm not studying or working I enjoy catching up with friends for dinner/drinks and being out and about, but I also like a bit of downtime at home. I'd love to find housemates with similar values and interests.
Hey! My name is Hayley, and I'm looking for a roommate to find a sweet apartment with! I have a full time job so I'm quiet respectful on weeknights and on the weekends I love to have wine/beer nights in the house or go party all weekend! I'm down for a girl or a guy roommate, I'm very down to earth and up for whatever!
Hello! I am a 24-year-old female from San Francisco, CA studying Communications and Media Studies at Swinburne for a semester. I also work part-time and am extremely responsible financially! I am often inspired and a lover of all things creative: dancing, music, graphic design, fine arts, and food! Whether it's a mom and pop shop, hole-in-the-wall eatery, cafe or bar, I love to explore new places (which is why I'm here in Melbourne!). I'm a friendly and considerate roommate and always prefer clean environments where I stay. I would love to discuss further details about a space to stay at during my time in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
Hi! We are both students from Melbourne University in post-grad programs (Vet program and Clinical Audiology). We are looking for a 2 bedroom location available to move in June. Rent to range from $150-200/week and include all the utilities (water, electricity, and internet), and further be fully furnished. We are hard working and very social! Hey everyone, Chun Sang here (or CS, it rolls off the tongue much more easily). From Singapore, 27 turning 28. Currently working as a research assistant/admin officer at Monash Uni at the Alfred Centre (relocating soon to St Kilda Rd). I like the occasional drink or two. A cafe run wouldn't hurt either (I like my coffee). Binges too much on movies, tv shows and netflix sometimes. Oh, and I'm a huge soccer fan too #GGMU. Overall, i'd say i'm relatively clean and tidy (I try to clean my apartment every weekend), pretty chill, respects your personal space, and would like to meet and hang out with some potential awesome housemates. Let me know if you think i'd be good for ya!
Zest for life, can also teach you some sweet as Latin dance moves! I work 5 days a week but free on weekends and in the evenings for social events and you guessed it, salsa dancing. Looking for good company and open minded people to share some fun experiences with!
I am an international student (Filipino from Singapore) and I will be studying full-time at University of Melbourne and I am looking for a place to stay that is near the university. Sporty, goes to the gym, non-smoker and adventurous! I can cook but not very well. I value cleanliness a lot and doing house chores is not a problem.
