I am a fun and outgoing independent young adult who is moving over from New Zealand to begin a role as an engineering graduate at Accenture in Melbourne. I enjoy going out, having a good time and socialising with friends. New to Australia I would love to explore my surroundings go out and enjoy what the city has to offer! I like to live with clean surroundings, enjoy cooking and cleaning up after myself. My hobbies include playing sports such as tennis, badminton and cricket socially and I do like to stay fit by either playing these sports or going for runs/gym. I enjoy people's company and I would like to think people enjoy mine too! I think I would make a great flatmate to live with!
hiya, my names senay. I'm 21 years old and a tidy, quiet yet fun and bubbly gal. I'm looking for somewhere a bit more in my price range due to where i'm living at the moment is too expensive. i've got a heap of share house environment 'experience', and even more consideration for those i'd live with. I'm looking for somewhere of course 420 friendly, in saying that i'm not a full time partier or a loud person. I enjoy a couple beers while cooking (and eating) dinner, dart breaks inbetween binge watching tv series. I'm an amateur writer who spends a lot of time writing gonzo either in gardens, parks or even at my desk. I collage, and draw a lot too. I'm currently unemployed due to mental health but have complete and stable income. I'm always happy to help around, clean up after myself and enjoy spending time with people just like i enjoy my own time too. PS. i love all animals.
Hi There! My name is Eli (Eleonora) and I am a German on a Working Holiday Visa seeking for a place to settle down for a year in Melbourne. I prefer a movie night over partying but would never decline a cider after work! I love cats but I am scared of dogs, enjoy the presence of any other animal that is not out for my blood and am pretty easy going in general. I am a tidy person in general and it's important to me that everything has it's order. You hate vacuuming, sorting through stuff and cleaning windows? I am your woman! (I am not a big fan of dishes though so if you have a dishwasher...) My hobbies are cooking, video games, fashion and random strolls through the city. The Room I am looking for should be private, furnished with a bed and should not cost more than 300$ including expenses. Feel free to contact me for any questions about my work and other stuff! Cheers, Eli
Hi Guys, My name is Rochelle, I am 26 years old and have just come back from a year long break travelling in Central and South America. I have relocated to Melbourne and am still in the realestate industry however working in advertising now. My main interests are health and fitness, live music, the beach, food and socialising. I am very career and fitness motivated and am the kind of person who enjoys going out to party but doesn't like bringing the party home. Hit me up if you think you have something suitable. Cheers, Rochelle

I am currently a student in my second year at ACU in Fitzroy. I'm studying International Development and love it. I am 20 but am known for my maturity, after high school I took a gap year and went to Europe for 9 months. I have been very lucky to have travel a lot for my age. I work part time as a swim teacher as well as a nanny for 3 kids. On top of this I volunteer at the Royal Children's Hospital in the cancer centre once a week. I am someone who loves to keep busy and be organised and am very reliable.

Hey! I'm Marc and am looking at relocating from Brisbane to Melbourne. I'm clean, considerate and friendly to live with. I work full time so I keep myself very busy during the week. On weekends I love spending time outdoors going hiking or rock climbing whenever I can. I'm pretty easy going so I'm happy to keep to myself but also happy to have a few laughs and a beer or two. I'll be in Melbourne from 03/04/2017 so feel free to shoot me through a message!
Greetings! I'm 26 yo,Italian that lived in Brasil for most of my life and last year I was working in marketing in Sydney. I'm looking to stay in Melbourne for at least 1 year now. I'm a easy going and clean guy, and trustworthy with bills. I Love music, outdoor sports, cooking and traveling. If you have any questions feel free to contact me ✌️
I'm 21, a full time student at the University of Melbourne (third year) and working part time as well. I've been living independently for the last three years, so I'm properly house trained. I'm tidy, polite, and personable, and I enjoy the occasional hang out in the living room but I also respect the space of others. I keep a clean house, I don't have people over every weekend, and I'll probably be spending a bit of time at my girlfriend's place anyway. If I sound like someone you'd be interested in living with, feel free to send me a message here!
We're both young creatives from the UK, over in Melbourne on working holiday visas. We've spent 4 months in Sydney and are now looking to live and work in Melbourne, seeking out its arts and coffee scene. We will be working as full time baristas in the city and are keen photographers, so we'll usually be out and about. We're clean, tidy and sociable, but know the boundaries when it comes to personal space! We get along with pretty much anyone we meet so don't be shy! We're fun, friendly people who enjoy good music, good food and good coffee. Ideally we'd like to live north of the centre and its surrounding eastern suburbs. We look forward to meeting you!
Hi everyone! My name is Ariel Dawn. I am a 23-year-old Canadian who has just moved to Melbourne after travelling for 7 months and will be living and working here indefinitely. I am a writer and musician, and prior to leaving home, I worked at a VFX studio, a poppin' local craft beer bar, and volunteered regularly at my local yoga studio. If you'd like, you can check out some of my most recent projects at my site. Looking for an easygoing and chill group to share a home with. I'm not a huge partier but love to share good wine and beer, have a knack for baking, and enjoy going on creativity-inspiring adventures.
I'm an argentinian traveler. I'm arriving to Melbourne towards the end of March. I am very clean. I love to cook and bake so I will probably fill up the place with the smell of brownies and cookies and I'm happy to share.
I'm extremely easy to get along with and if I'm not working, I'm either sleeping or out of the house having lunch etc with friends. I'm a bit of a science geek by day but am a Quiz Meister's Trivia Host by night.... So basically I'm full of random potentially useless info that you might find amusing. I love hanging out and having a chat too but I'm definitely not overbearing.
Hello ! Me and my friend are from Malaysia. We are currently studying in the city and we are looking for a shared room to live in. We are both in the hospitality industry so i would consider ourselves really neat and clean people. We are both students and we are working as well so we will definitely pay our bills on time. We are fun and cheerful people, we are gamers as well and most importantly we love to cook ! We would definitely enjoy an occasional beer or coffee anytime to chat over anything ! We are more than happy to get to know new people and learn about new things !! :)
I'm 20 and only just moving to Melbourne to start to Uni. Coming from a rural town to this big city. There's so much more happening and more to learn. Looking more some ripper roommates that are social, mad fun and not slobs. Beer goes in the fridge, tomato sauce goes in the cupboard.
Hello! My name is Meg, I'm a registered nurse and I work full time shift work at the Austin hospital. I'm currently living in a share house in Hawthorn and I have previously lived in Clifton hill so I have lots of experience living communally. I'm a friendly gal, pretty chill and like living in a clean environment. I'm looking to live with like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal, going out for brunch or a glass of vino. In my spare time I enjoy checking out art exhibitions, going to music festivals, gigs, yoga and travelling. I'm a very social girl however I'm not looking for a party house. If I sound like someone you might like to live with, let me know.
Hey! I'm carol, 25 from England. Me and my boyfriend are looking for a private room in a share house, preferably in the Cbd or Southbank area. We both work in the centre of Melbourne, my boyfriend as a barman and he also studies here and myself as an English teacher. We're both pretty chilled out, enjoy having a chat and a drink now and again but also respect personal space. If anyone has a spare room don't hesitate to contact us! We are looking for somewhere to move ASAP.
Hi Everyone! As you can see, my name is Ingrid. I'm a 25 year old originally born and bred in Brisbane and have lived there my whole life. Recently however I've accepted a full-time position with a company in Melbourne so of course I have to move (...imagine the commute if I didn't). I start the new job on the 1st of May, so I need to find a place in April, ASAP. How do I sum up me... well I'm super friendly and generally really socialable (if I'm not super tired). Completely happy to pull my weight in household duties and chores, because I appreciate a clean space as much as anyone else. I've done my hard time at uni and have my two shiny pieces of degree paper to show for it, so I understand the study life and the need for down time and peace and quiet. Mostly I keep to myself at home but I'm also down to hang out and watch TV and participate in household banter. My interests are pretty ecclectic really. I'm majorly into movies and documentaries about history. My friends have described me as a walking, talking IMDB in the past and I tend to know some pretty cool facts and anecdotes about lots of different topics, so I like to think that's an asset. Love most things 'nerdy'... popculture, videogames, sci-fi everything, super into star trek etc... but I'm also super into watching most sports (I happen to love all teams Boston and will forever be a massive Brisbane Roar Supporter... so Melb Victory/City fans beware...). Also like some of life's more simple pleasures like shopping, going exploring and the like. Main activities during my downtime include eating everything and sleeping. My ideal rent is $200 but I have some wiggle room up to $230 so that's my absolute max. If I sound like someone you might potentially wanna live with, feel free to send me a message. I'm super friendly, promise!
I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
•Clean enough not leave the place looking like a brothel, chilled enough not to freak out about dishes in the sink.~~ •Chef, without the craziness~~ •Keep to myself mostly, but always keen to hang out ~~ •Happy person, looking for other positive people ~~ •Don't do drugs, occasionally have a cigarette (not inside of course) ~~ •Would prefer younger people ~~ •Pianist and artist (Who's not going to play piano at 3am when you're trying to sleep) ~~ •Sensible, chilled and understanding
Easy going, fun and friendly looking for other friendly and liveable housemates to possibly start a new sharehouse or join a good existing one. I've been back in Melbourne just under a year having lived in London and travelled around the world for 3 years. I'm looking for some chilled but social housemates! Have done the houseshare thing before and made some awesome mates from it! As long as you're social, respectful and up for a good time we'll get along fine! I work full time in the city so anywhere inner northern suburbs is ideal.
I am that housemate you were looking for. You know the one, neat/tidy, bubbly and an absolute pleasure to be around, Ha! My name is Bianca, I am 29 years old and I am working fulltime as a Lawyer. In my spare time I usually enjoy going out with friends, attending my weekly yoga class or going for a run. If you would like to know more, feel free to ask.
Hey I'm Jeff, a 28 year old guy. I moved from Sydney 3 or so years ago. I work in I.T in the city and recently got a new job so I'm looking to move closer in to save on the commute pennies. I'm a laid back guy who doesn't mind Friday night drinks but also down-time during the week. I'm looking for like minded individuals in there 20's or early 30's who are looking for a place in the inner city. I'm looking for working professionals who have their own life but aren't complete ghosts. *I'd also be looking at places on St Kilda Rd but it doesn't show on Flatmates :( If your interested let me know and we can meet up for a coffee to see if we'll get along and go from there. Cheers,
I'm a respectful and tidy undergraduate student. I work part-time and spend the rest of the working week concentrating on squeezing the juice out of my studies. When I'm not studying I like to get out for a run, swim or a round of golf and catch up with mates.
Hello! I'm a 26 year old female and I work full-time in the city as a Consultant. My interests range from brunching, hiking, reading, to doing the occasional pilates class. I love travel, music, books, tea, and a pairing a good wine with cheese. I'm friendly and very easy-going and would love to live with someone with similar vibes :)
I am a postgrad student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Environmental Study; commencing my study in Feb 2017. I previously worked for NGOs focusing on sustainability issues and community and gender-inclusive empowerment programs in Indonesia. I have tangible passion in environmental protection and human right issues especially the queers since I'm gay myself. I Love to travel, read, listen to music and party when it is the right time to do so. I can assure you that I'm an open-minded person and respect differences and diversity because I believe everyone is unique and has a right and freedom to do what make them as a person and of course happy. I'm very tidy and always take a good care of my house. If you require a reference letter from my previous landlord in Perth, I'd be happy to do so. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I love cooking Indonesian cuisines too when I have some spare time and always proud and glad to introduce it to my friends from different background. 🙂 I love to make friends with people from any backgrounds, this was also the reason why I became an Airbnb host when I was in Jakarta. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Cheers, Randi
Hi! We are 3 backpackers, James, Tom and Ellen, are looking for somewhere to stay. We are all employed and have a steady income. I enjoy house/techno music, all sports (bar AFL, don't get it) and anything social. Ellen is loves music, especially 80s British music (e.g. The Smiths), and not-for-profit organisations. Tom is well travelled, has been across most the world and plans to see New Zealand next. Hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks, James
Hello potential room mate! My name is Paul, Recently moved to Melbourne from the far north coast of NSW I'm currently working as a chef in a busy cafe in Brunswick east and I'm in need of a new home! Quite a sociable guy i like to relax in my room or catch me outside having a brew! Always down for a chat and a hang but honestly i just want to come home and kick my feet up and have a chill.. Really tidy and always cleaning up after myself. You'll most likely catch me making massive meals for the week or even have a bake off so there will always be a cake or something sweet flying around to eat! I like to get out on my days off and explore the city or hang with friends, I never bring the party home. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you!
I'm Michael, I'm 34 and work in tech in St Kilda. I'm easy going and great to live with. I'm well experienced in share-housing. If you like I can provide references from my current housemates. I'm clean, organised and always able to cover bills. I go to the gym, make mobile apps in my spare time and do video editing. I also have a ridiculously huge movie collection. Seriously, it's really big. I enjoy the occasional drink and a night out but I'm by no means a party animal. I also play guitar. I might be on my laptop a fair bit but I'm by no means antisocial.
I am a clean and independent person, who is very house trained (haha) I work full time and am often working long hours, I also study so a reasonably chill place would be ideal. I am 21, though please don't let that deter you, i'm so far from a party girl its ridiculous, i have shared multiple times and also lived independently, I'm super reliable with rent and bills so that will never be an issue at all! Move date set as April 15- but flexible as to moving earlier or later, just want to find somewhere that's a good fit!
Hey, I'm a very friendly, sociable, hard-working 25 year-old who has lived in Melbourne her whole life. I work full time as a radiographer (yes, that means shift work) and I'm generally very busy in my free time. I enjoy keeping fit and play a multitude of sports and I like running also. I'm a big foodie and love to eat out and cook at home too (happy to share the household cooking duties). I love a good glass of wine (or two, or more), binge watching trashy movies/tv shows and hanging out with mates. My family and friends are really important to me and I would like to live with people who I could eventually consider close friends as well. I'm looking to live somewhere modern, reasonably spacious and close to my work. I would need somewhere convenient to park my car (on, or off street) as I participate in an on-call roster and need to have easy access to my car in those instances. Ideally I'd like an ensuite or my own bathroom, but it's not a complete deal breaker. I'd really like to get the ball rolling as my current flat mate wants to move out and I don't want to foot the bill in our existing apartment for both of us for too long! Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in getting to know more about me!
All the nitty gritty stuff! I'm originally from nz ( currently there ) but have been offered a work transfer in Melbourne! So of course with out a doubt I accepted it!I'm a very sociable person! I love getting to know people whether it's over a glass of O.J or a good ole coffee! I'm financially stable! My hours are 7-7 sometimes 6! So won't be around for much other than to catch up on a years worth of lost sleep! I love a good banter! As well as the odd, uber eats and chill kinda shindig! I don't drink, only on the rarest of occasions like Jesus is going to walk this earth rare 😂 and I 110% do not smoke whether that's cigarettes or weed 110% no, not against it just not my cup of tea, I'm a clean freak, I love living and being in a clean environment! So I'll do more than my fair share of house work without a hassle! I love to keep active, running and the gym is my time where I feel the happiest so I like to keep on top of that at least once every day! And yeah! I'm really easy going! Pay bills on time, respectful of everyone's own personal space!! I'm a real people kinda person but also enjoy my alone time! But if the shoe fits please let me know would love to hear from you
From California living in Melbourne for 3 years now. I love to cook and am very clean, especially in shared areas. I just graduated from Melbourne Uni as a Physiotherapist and am currently looking for a job. I am very social and love brunching! I am currently riding my bike almost everywhere for transport. I'm into exercise as well as chilling out on the couch and binge-watching tv shows. Looking for 3-months accommodation until more permanent accommodation opens up in July.
I'm a very social person, always having a laugh and enjoy kicking back more now rather than partying although Im a big techno enthusiast. I pretty much keep low key these days. I worked at Bupa Health Insurance for almost 2 years and left recently as Im gonna look for something else but I'll never be late with rent or anything to do with finance. I've gotten into the nature side of things lately so I do enjoy going to parks, beaches etc but also enjoy just chillin at home. I get along well with pretty much anyone and we will definitely become friends rather than just housemates. Im open to pretty much any area not just the area I put in lol
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a neat FREAK (I’ve been known to do laundry when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. Part of my neat-freakiness is that I don’t throw parties at home so you don’t need to worry about me trashing the place, and I also have my twin brother’s Netflix account (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Hi there, we are Kyle and David, both studying in a bachelor of Health Science" Myotherapy". We are currently based in Adelaide but looking to move to Melbourne or around the CBD fringe areas to continue our study at the Endeavour collage there.Being there a few times now has made us both agree that it is definitely the place to be and will help us achieve our goals. Our dynamics are cool, we go way back and have a good friendship, respectful guys clean and tidy, empathetic of others, both of us like music and going out occasionally, we are hoping to eventually open a business in Melbourne but actually have to be there to go ahead with our joint business venture. If there is anything else you would like to know please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for taking the time to view our add.
Swedish girl, first time in Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm looking for a place I can call home for a while. Clean, cosy and relaxed. Overall I'm easy going and social. Love staying in for a movie night or just chill with some good food on the table. Been traveling on and off for 5 years. My plan is now to be in Melbourne for minimum one year. Im working full time in the city so will be working both day and night shifts. On my days off I usually spend the day hanging out with friends. Like indie, rock and electronic music. Up for partying and bar hang outs here and there. I'm an easy, social person. Don't take to much space. Like to keep myself active. Have no problems with animals. Love them all, so far. Just text if you have any more questions👌
I am looking for a room somewhere in Melbourne's inner east preferably close to the bay. Kitesurfing is my main hobby, I spend allot of time bayside so I would like to be reasonably close. I ride my bike to work everyday, enjoy the outdoors and generally keeping fit. It not necessary but It would be perfect if I could find a place with some facilities like a pool/gym etc... The home and people are more a focus for me than the suburb. I am open to any suburb in this area. I am originally from New Zealand I have been in Australia for around 15 years, 12 in Sydney and 3 in Melbourne. After spending 9 years in the snow ski industry I now work in the IT industry as an analyst/programmer so I like to be active in the w-ends. I enjoy kitesurfing, biking, technology, travelling, food (especially Asian), socializing/eating out, skiing, most sport and just about anything that is fun. I am very easy going, consider myself clean and tidy and are very respectful of other people and their space. I am an animal lover so don't mind any household pets especially dogs. I look forward chatting and hopefully to coming and meeting you!
Hello, I am an English, 26 year old single male who has been living in Melbourne for the last year. I am a Digital Advertising Manager with occasional (or more often than not, frequent!) long hours and a fairly busy schedule. I would consider myself to be a loyal, supportive and compassionate friend, as well as particularly conscientious about other people's feelings. I swing between spending lots of time at home relaxing and being out and about every night of the week. Like nothing more than to come home and have a good chat and catch up in a relaxing environment and I'm always up for drinks/dinner too. I've got a 457 visa and have no intention to move back to England in the immediate future. If you've got any questions, please feel free to give me a shout. Minal

Hi everyone! my name is Lucile I'm 23 & I from Paris in France. I'm looking for a share house because I'm in Melbourne since 2 weeks for 1 year and I don't want to invade my friend's house :) I came here to exchange with people from everywhere, and starting a new life to the other side of the world. I'm a smiling girl, discreet when it's necessary but present at the right times. I like to cook as if I were a part of a large family (No mess! lol) I like to listen music as if I was beatmaker (No worries, got my headphones) I like reading novels as if I were studying literature (But I really don't) I wouldn't be often at home. I prefer to discover the streets than the closets! lol Thanks for reading me, bye for now :) Lucile
