Howdy! We are a couple moving from Adelaide for work/study on the 19th. Jared, 26, will be working full-time in his dream forensics job, as well as writing up his PhD thesis. James, 30, will be studying social work at RMIT. This should give you a clear idea of our values. We're looking for a place not exceeding $250/wk ea. If furnished or $200/wk ea. if unfurnished (for centrally located sharehouses). Preferably sharing with other students or conscientious professionals. We are not strangers to share houses and know the gig. James has a docile, lovable, fluffy cat. I'm not a catman but I've made an exception for Chloe. Our hobbies include: board games (have a good collection), hiking, gym, and beach. I suppose two of these aren't really Melbourne things so we look forward to seeing what the city instead offers. We'll be browsing other ads here and getting in touch with people, but if you think you've got something suitable and wanna meet up to show the room and see if we're a match just hit me up. We'll be free all next week and the week after for hunting! Cheers!
I'm Agnes, 22yo and an exchange student from BR. I will be studying Leadership & Management at Greenwich. I arrive in Melbourne on 19 Jan and I need a room starting on this day. I am a really chill person who loves to watch netflix or read a book on leisure time but I am also up for a great chat, I am not only looking for roommates but friends eventually since I will be all by myself in a country I've never been before. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do. Oh, and I make an excellent cup of coffee.
My name is Julian and I'm currently looking for a room to rent for around $160 p/w. I'm 33 currently in Preston and looking for a 420 friendly place to share. I am pretty quiet and keep mostly to myself but always friendly and respectful to fellow housemates, I have been doing the sharehouse thing now for around 8 years so I know the basics of whats expected and how to keep everyone happy. I'm currently paying $400 a fortnight and also not currently employed so its a bit much, the only thing I would require is a bed (not sure if the mattress in the pictures is available) and cable access to the modem for internet. I would be looking for long term stay if we all get along and things work and would also be looking for employment in the area. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon
The basics: I'm moving back to Australia after spending the last few years in the States and need a place to call home while all of my furniture and stuff goes on a several-month long cruise before docking in Melbourne. I'm in my 30s and have been renting since I was 18 with a flawless rental payment history (happy to provide references). I keep things clean, have been waking up at stupid o'clock for longer than I care to remember and have gotten along with almost every housemate I've ever had. The exceptions were a couple of girls who kept stealing all the toilet paper in the house and a guy who preferred to throw a bucket of water all over the toilet rather than pressing the flush button. Other potential influencing factors: My last housemate chose me because I admitted to doing cheerleading when he asked what I did for fun, but was aware enough to be embarrassed when I did so. We shared our apartment with an eight-foot-tall bear, Eddie, who you won't have to worry about because he wouldn't fit on the plane when I moved to the US.
Hi everyone! My name is Medha, I’m 23 and from Kathmandu, Nepal. I graduated from Monash Uni in May and working full-time in IT. I have been in Melbourne for almost 5 years. I am looking for a nice place to stay preferably somewhere close to the city. I am a clean, neat and tidy person. I like to cook sometimes and I'm working on it to be better. I like to binge watch tv shows, going for brunch, and playing badminton. I am not a party person but I do like to have a good time! I prefer to stay with someone who is a female and also no couples. I hope you can understand. Feel free to message me. :)
I am a responsible gentleman. I am easy to get along with. Very respectful of other housemates. I am very tidy and organize. I love cooking! Which means, I work in culinary industry. So I am hoping to find a place in the heart of the city. Help me find a place folks!
I’m studying at RMIT City campus start of 2019 Looking for somewhere with bills included in rent price per week. I’m clean and tidy Not a party person but enjoys being social I have a Spoodle she’s just 1 year old and she’s great - she has other living arrangements
I'm architect, from Spain. I like sports, but I do not like to party much, or drink. I'm not a smoker either. I am clean and orderly. I like to have moments with people as well as having moments of being with myself.
Full time worker in the CBD. Low key around the house but clean and organised - up for chats but respectful of personal space (Yes same as everyone else, but true!) I have a pretty active lifestyle, I play sports a few times a week, hit up the gym, go out for drinks/dinner etc. When I'm home I'm generally reading, or doing something on the computer - hobbies include architecture-related stuff and drawing. I tend to do a bit of moonlighting so might buckle down every now and then to get that stuff done. For that reason I prefer a room that can fit a bed + desktop computer. I also have a car so would like somewhere to put it, on-street is fine though. Excellent references if needed - I've shared and rented in Melbourne for a few years now. Msg if you want to know more!
Hi, I’m a working professional whose office is based along St Kilda Stop 25, near Commercial Road. I prefer accommodation that’s close to public transport. I am tidy at home, respects privacy and understands own space. Usually keeps to myself as I’m a bit shy. Honest, trustworthy.
I'm a considerate person, I always like to clean up after myself and have respect for the other people I am living with. I'm kind and friendly, I enjoy meeting new people and making friends, however I also enjoy my own space and being independent.
Hello, my partner and I are looking for somewhere to rent for two months whilst we get set up in Melbourne, we're 26 & 27 and have just finished a 5 month travelling trip so we're currently out of work but are actively seeking employment. We're both very friendly and outgoing but have left out partying ways with our early 20's ( we can't handle the two day hangovers). We would love to hear from you soon.
I am clean, enjoy cooking/baking, binge watching grand designs and anime (amongst a few other genres and what's on Netflix and Stan) , reading, photography, music and being a mum! I have my own furniture, so an unfurnished room would be great. I do drive (so even if you don't, I'm happy to help you out) but will sometimes catch public transport if it's more cost effective or munchkin wants to go on the train. I don't have loads of people over, I don't party, I have a few friends and I usually visit them.. Currently in the process of a separation (I'd prefer my ex to not know where I live to avoid any drama, so please don't worry about that)... Hoping for someone to give us a go!
Looking for an apartment in the city, with my *own* room and preferably with windows. A pool and/or tennis court would definitely be a plus. I love music, food, drinks, yoga/pilates, and keeping things clean and organised. I would love to hangout every now and then, but I can also keep to myself. I'm a full time mobile application developer with a bit of an active lifestyle; usually out with friends. If you're interested to team up, I've seen some good places: - https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-420752026 - https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-425146974
Hi all, myself and my friend are currently looking for one additional housemate to team-up and sign a 6-12month lease (depending on agency). Preferably a town-house but an apartment will do if we cant find anything else We both work full-time in Southbank in an Engineering firm and are pretty easy going. We respect everyones privacy and are always clean and tidy Please send me a message if your interested in this team-up and we can have a chat about it in more detail Thanks Henry
I'm a recent graduate and now looking for a place to stay for the summer and possibly/hopefully) longer. I'm usually quiet, and laid-back and would love to share the house with people sharing the same traits. I would love to connect with people that I'll share the house with, so house dinners, board game nights, movie sessions are some of the things I would want to do as a house together :) I often work at home so if you have a strong, unlimited internet connection, you are the One! :)
