Hey there, I'm Iggi from good old Germany. Just moved to Melbourne because why not! Graduated geosciences and now I'm looking for a job in my field ( or just hospitality like the past 8 years) and a room in an open-minded flatshare. I like to watch good movies, drink vine, techno/house/electronic music events and clubs, getting wasted (the 50 hours awake style), fotography, motorbikes and bicycles and I like to work (yeah, strange, i kno...) contact me, or don't! Greetings, Iggi
Hi, my Name is Sima (w) and I will start studying at Monash University from February 25th to June 24th as an exchange student. I was born and raised in Berlin and I am also studying at the Freie Universität Berlin German Philolgy and History to become a teacher. Apart from that I work part-time at the IT-Department of Freie Universität called ZEDAT. I am looking for a place where I can study peacefully and safe. I am a tidy person. But what is most important is that I want to get in touch with nice people and have a peaceful environment. I am very open person and I love to have interesting conversations. At the same time I respect your privacy. And I love to cook and do my regular workout. feel free to ask me any question you have (:
Hello I'm looking for a room with own bath if possible in the city or cbd. About me: I'm easy going who like to keep everything clean, respectful, I respect other people privacy and I like to meet new people. I love to do sport, I play soccer every week and I like to travel. ☺️ Feel free to ask me any question ☺ Thanks
Hi potential housies, I'm looking at joining a social sharehouse around the Collingwood/Fitzroy area. I'm missing a backyard, as I love spending time outdoors, so would prefer that or a decent balcony. Off street parking would be a win but not a deal breaker. I've lived in sharehouses for a while now both in Perth (worked there for a couple years) and Melbourne. I'm sociable, clean and easy going and looking for housemates that are similar in that regard. I'm not looking to join a party house, but more than happy to share a chat, food or a drink or two. I love the outdoors and like to stay active - cycling mainly, but keen to get back into my fencing and get into climbing/bouldering. I also like exploring the local area - cafes, bars and restaurants. If you reckon I sound like a potential housemate please let me know. Cheers Yen-Sen
Hi, I am a 25 year old professional french girl looking for a private room in a friendly house share. I am an experienced chef who enjoys doing lots of sport in her spare time. I am very clean, tidy and reliable. I speak fluent english (I have lived in London for more than 4 years). I enjoy going out for a pint but I am not a party goer and would love to live with like minded people! If you wanna know anything more, feel free to ask.
Hi! My name is Tom, I'm from Melbourne. I'm looking for a room close to Fitzroy but happy for surrounding areas if close to public transport. Easy going, responsible, friendly guy always open for a chat. Likes having a bit of space from time to time and respects others too. Full-time student at Australian College of the Arts and work part-time as a Disability Support Worker. In my spare time and enjoy going out with friends and seeing live music.
Lived in Melbourne for the previous two years in a boarding house at a large private school. Currently looking for an inner city place in order to attend university and work part-time. I enjoy most sports and just hanging out with friends and im fairly self-sufficient.
Hello, I'm an international student from Nairobi, Kenya. Ethnically, I am South Asian and Arab. I am going to move to Melbourne as a Bachelor in Design (Architecture) a first year student at University of Melbourne. I am easy going, quiet (at first) and tidy - I don't mind sharing out the responsibilities in a shared house. I enjoy some nights out, or days out, and sometimes like to stay in. I enjoy having a laugh and respect everyone's privacy. I would like to live with other students (preferably first year), and would also like to live in an ensuite room, but don't mind sharing it with clean flatmates. Thank you.
I'm an IT consultant. I enjoy outdoors, sport, watching Netflix and a little bit of chat. I'm very tidy and clean. I have a tens of good references on Airbnb. I would be in the apartment only in the evening (but out a lot for networking) and at night. So I'm not in often. On top of this I need a room only Monday night to Friday morning as I go away back to Bairnsdale pretty much every weekend. So I'm the ideal flatmate
Hi, I'm Alan, currently undertaking my Masters of Architecture at RMIT. I'm looking for a room preferably furnished in a shared apartment or house for a minimum stay of 6 months; moving in by Feb 14th. I spend most of my spare time running my own creative consultancy business. When i'm not working, i'm passionate about anything art and design related. I love roaming the city taking photos and frequenting art galleries and bookshops. I'm clean, organised, sociable and respect other peoples personal space. Give me a shout if you are interested in meeting up to discuss a possible housing arrangement!
Hey flatmate world, We're a fun loving couple looking for some new housemates in Jan/Feb 2017! We both work full time but are definitely up for getting together with our roomies for a social drink or bite to eat whenever possible. We both love going for brunch, playing different sports and watching trashy telly in our spare time. While we are a couple we are also great at doing thing separately. We are both super clean and as an added bonus Max is a tradie so he's super helpful with jobs around the house. Together we also have all the furniture needed to furnish a new house so if yours is missing anything, there's a high chance we'll have it. This is also perfect for anyone wanting to team up. If you want to know anything else about us feel free to message!
Hey! I'm 21 and currently studying science at Melbourne Uni and working part time (that's me on the right). I'm an outgoing, hard working and friendly person and looking for a place to call home. I lived in America mid 2014- end 2015 where I attended a private research University on scholarship for 1.5 years so I know what it's like to live out of home and the dynamics of a share house/apartment. Im clean, respectful and organised and would prefer to live with people who are similar in this way. Few of my hobbies/interests include rnb music, hanging out at the beach with my dog (won't be coming with me), learning Japanese, cooking, and staying fit (swimming and running espec). I competed in International athletics as a junior from ages 16-20 including Div 1 NCAA so I'd be keen on a game of backyard cricket or basketball in my downtime. I'm very social and enjoy catching up with friends on the weekend to explore bars or go to a gig/comedy. Im not a big drinker but definitely enjoy a glass of wine or two with good company. 2-4 housemates would be ideal 😊 LGBT friendly and all of that of course. Prefer a non-smoking household. Looking for something at least 6 months - year. Shoot me a message if I sound like a good fit! Cheers
Hi! I am an easy going guy who has just moved to Melbourne from Spain. I love the outdoors, discovering new places, meeting and hanging out with people from different countries. I don't smoke and I like tidy and clean spaces.
Hello,I am Sky,sociable and considerate, looking for a room or a bed in Melbourne, near tram or train station. I work fulltime, love laughing and outdoor sports, would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself! Good reference:)
I am a considerate housemate who will replace toilet rolls, make tea for everyone & tidy up after myself! I like to read, binge watch series, practice yoga, and ride my bike (slowly). I enjoy a glass of wine, stinky cheese, and philosophising over any topic that sparks an interest. I am a uni student (part-time) and work as a dental assistant.
I am 25 years old and from New Zealand but have been living overseas for the past 14 years, currently living in Seoul. I am moving to Melbourne to do my Master of Teaching at UoM. I am a clean and organised person - a bit of a neat-freak so you don't need to worry about mess from my end. I like a combination of time alone as well as socialising. I love to bake so there will often be fresh baking in the house ;) I also enjoy running, so if there is someone looking for a running partner that would be great! To relax I enjoy eating good food and watching good movies.
Hey there. I am an 18yo girl from the south east area but looking to move out of home this year as I am starting uni and want to be closer to the city. Studying bachelor of property and real estate at deakin Burwood campus. I am always motivated to get out and do things, such as going to the gym, walks, hikes, weekend adventures, so I am never lounging around the house 24/7. I love cooking and trying new things when it comes to food but I also loooove my desserts and chocolate. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
We are a family of three. Myself, wife and a daughter of almost four years old. We are the best to live with. Friendly and Godly. I am a Research Student with RMIT University, while my wife work part time and take care of our daughter. We live a peaceful but very friendly life.
Hey I'm Nigel, 29yo Kiwi, however I've been here about 7 years now and have pretty much lost my accent. I'm currently working in the city as a support person for a construction industry web app. I'm fairly respectful of privacy and generally keep to myself unless you want to hang out, in which case I'm usually keen to watch a movie or have a quiet beer and a chat. As for hobbies, I'm big into horror movies, the more occult themed or psychological the better. I own a guitar and have been known to play on occassion but not for some time. I generally try to get to the gym at least 3 or 4 days a week and I like playing xbox, watching a movie or reading to wind down in the evening. I'm currently a smoker, but am really keen to quit so if you're a non-smoking household, that actually may be better, haha I'm not particularly high strung about anything but my only requirement is a reliable wifi connection as I do occassionally need to work from home. If I sound like the kind of person you'd like to share a house with, please flick me a message. I look forward to hearing from you!
I am friendly professional, well travelled who enjoys meeting new people. My background is in HR and Recruitment. I have lived and worked in Europe, Middle East, Australia and Africa and traveled through Asia and few places in Central America.
Hi. I'm planning to move to the city or somewhere closer. I'm a postgraduate student so looking for people who are decent and fun to hang out with. Being an IT student, I wouldn't say my sense of humour is that bad :P Other than nerdy stuff, I'm into sports, fitness, cooking, eating, and movies. A "balanced" life. I'm particularly interested in people who are willing to rent out a whole apartment for ourselves ( 1 or 2 bed ) which usually requires bond of around $1000 each. Hit me up on 0.4.1.2 if 8.0.8 you're 8.6.3 interested. Cheers :*
Hello! My names Jazz! I love all things art related, visual art, music & dance. I work in security 6-7 days a week, I'm hardly ever home always at work, gym, dance or visiting family. Just want a comfortable place to come back. I stick to myself a lot of the time and enjoy hanging out in my room but always up for a friendly chat... I also love blasting music so I hope that's not a problem 🙊
Hello hello, I'm a 21 year old student from Paris but moved to Melbourne two and a half years ago and love it here! I'm finishing by bachelor of commerce majoring in Marketing and Finance. I lived in college for the first two years of study but I've had enough and want to experience something else. I would describe myself as a very bubbly and happy person, I'm very social and like to go out with my friends a lot. You are welcome to join us, all of my friends love to meet new people! However I will not bring them home, I fully understand that the house is a calm place that you want to come home to after a long day. I'm very tidy myself but grew up in a messy family so I don't really care how the house looks, it's up to you. I think that I'm super easy to live with, it's very hard to get me out of my good mood. I'll have to study quite a bit since it's my last year so I'll probably be at uni during most of the daytime and I try to go to the gym four to five times a week. My New Year's resolution is to learn how to kite surf so I'll be heading to the beach at least once a week, join me if you'd like, the more the merrier! I love to binge watch Netflix with pizza and wine but generally eat quite healthy food (or at least I try) that I am happy to cook for the entire house. I'm looking for a fun household of open minded people who are keen to be friends over flatmates. Cheers for reading all of this and maybe see you soon! Alexia
I'm considerate and clean, can make a great michelada and have a fridge...or I don't, the fridge doesn't have to come basically. I don't own that grey hat anymore either :(
Hi, I'm Bram fro Brussels, Belgium. I'll be moving to Australia around mid-February and I'm looking for a place, preferably within the vicinity of the Parkville campus of the University of Melbourne. About myself, I'm a 25 year old competition lawyer based in Brussels. I have decided to study for an extra year in Melbourne, and I'm very excited. In addition to studying I might take up a part-time position at the Melbourne office of my current law firm. I am very sociable and outgoing. I enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle and I am interested in a variety of things, going from American Football to music. I am a non-smoker. I am a disciplined and respectful guy, who puts a lot of effort in my interactions with other people. Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
Hey guys! I've just moved down to Melbourne from my studies on the Gold Coast (originally from the States) to complete my Doctor of Physio degree at Peter Mac Cancer Centre. I'm currently house sitting and looking to move on March 1st when my friends return from their travels. I'm pretty flat out with work and uni but love socialising over dinner, movies, or a cheeky beer or 5! I like being a clean human and am pretty easy going. I'll be finished with my studies in April and am hoping to stay in Melbourne indefinitely. I've been a bit of a nomad due to my studies the past 2 years and so I'm looking for a place to finally call home for a while.
Hi, I am a 27-year old female who moves from Germany to Melbourne to study Naturopathy. My Uni is in Elizabeth St so I would like to look for something close by. I am a qualified yoga instructor as well as fitness instructor and an almost qualified Health Coach. I love cooking (healthy), being active enjoying the sunshine and I love spending my time with friends, to talk, laugh, watch movies instead of going out partying.
Jon - 26, Spatial analyst / Research assistant, very capable cyclist (previously competitive but chose a career/social life over becoming a professional cyclist) and handy cards player. Easy going, loves a bit of banter and well domesticated through forced child labour (mum's reason for having kids). Appreciates having pot plants / flowers / a garden wherever he lives. Trikk - 25, avid photographer / animal lover (grew up on a dairy farm) and currently working for the Australian Wheat Board in South Bank. Very friendly and loves a good chat. As a couple we look to enjoy our housemates company and hope they can enjoy ours too. We're not ones to lock ourselves inside of our room never to be seen and looking for a house where everyone gets along rather than a case of contractual co-habitation. We're clean and highly respectful and considerate of all others. We're looking for a place to stay with where we can sign a minimum 6 month lease and relatively flexible as to the date we move in. Preferably by the 18th of February but can discuss that for the right people/place.
My names Sammie, I'd say I'm a great person to live with. I'm looking for someone to move to Australia with however I'm doing this quite a bit in advance in order to get to know and trust someone before doing so. I am moving from the UK and have never been to Australia before, but has been a dream to live there since being a child. I am a tidy well respectful person, I like to make any space look homely. I'm never too noisy and I respect other peoples space and belongings, I'm basically looking for someone I can become very good friends with, (preferably at least one or two females as I don't want to house share with all males And like all girls, I'll need some girly chit chat) I love my movies and books with a nice box of chocolates or a tub of ice cream, I love those hair slapped back no makeup on type of days but just as much as this I love getting ready nice and early and getting out of the house. I like finding new places to eat, new things to do and I love making new friends. I'd say I'm quite sociable around people I get a good vibe from. Yes I do smoke but I will never and will not move with anyone who smokes indoors. Smoking outside only as I cannot stand furniture or the smell of smoke in the space where me and other people have to spend our time as it is not pleasant at all. I hope to find someone like me who I can get to know, trust and make plans with before setting off on the big move.
I'm a 22yo guy who just finished his Honours in International Relations at La Trobe University. Though I am currently looking for work - I do have a stable income stream to pay rent, etc. I love politics ( a lot), history, maps, movies, music, a drink every now and then, cooking (eating), and just hanging out! If you want to know more just shoot me a message! I also connected my instagram.

I like to workout, and I’m thinking about joining the outdoor club at RMIT so I can rock climb and boulder. I’m also a huge UFC fan, love the fighting game. In the weekends I enjoy going out taking a few drinks, or take a night in and just relax with a movie/netflix after a long day

I enjoy being social and going out but I also like to stay in and binge watch TV shows on Netflix. I eat all kinds of food and am keen to visit as many restaurants and bars as I can. Full time visual merchandising TAFE student seeking house or flat share situation (private room) with one or two females. FIrst time living out of home but well versed in the basics of running a household and being responsible. It will be a new experience living with people other than family for the first time, so having a flat mate/s a bit older would probably suit well. Will be mostly studying during the week but using weekends to let hair down and be with friends/interact socially. Personality is a bit quirky (in a good 'sense of humour' way), creative and articulate. Mother (in pic) is helping search to find the right fit.
I'm a sociable guy with experience living in share houses. I'm up for a laugh and a beer after work and I'm always keen to try new things. When it come to shared responsibilities I always pull my weight and I'm pretty relaxed about most things.
Hello there, I am moving to Melbourne (from NZ.. a Kiwi) end of Jan 2017 and would love a clean and tidy apartment to share. I am very house proud... but not uptight. Must have my own bathroom and built in wardrobes. I intend to embrace all that your wonderful city has to offer... Restaurants, dining in docklands, southbank etc., and catch-ups with my daughters whom both live and work in Melbourne. I have selected $500pw and a start date of end of Jan.... this is flexible for the right place. I am very fit and active and would very much like to 'settle in' to a living arrangement that is easy. Areas I'd like to live in would be inner-city suburbs close to both train and tram. I'm keen on Docklands. If you had a pet.... thats no problem ... a bonus actually! I would very much enjoy amenities like pool and outdoor space. I have no police convictions and am a professional in the logistics industry. I look forward to hearing from you if you'd like me to share your home with you, occupy and rent your home while you travel .. look after your pet even! or if you have a single apartment available. I have given my mobile ... currently based in NZ.... so I am happy to receive a txt... and I would happily ring you back to discuss. Many thanks for reading this Regards Katie Jones
I grew up in the Netherlands but have been living in Canada for the last 3 years, I'm currently backpacking through Australia but would like to stay in Melbourne for a few months and find a job. I love hiking, exploring, foods (I'm vegan), cultures, history, animals, music, languages. It's been nice staying in hostels but would love to find an apartment and stay in the same place for a longer period of time.
master student in melbourne uni. easy to stay with, like chill in the weekends but work hard during weekdays. love music, watching movie, traveling, having chat with people. but during study period prefer study hard.
I'm an open easy going person. I love company and sharing a wine and a laugh but I also like my space and respect others space too. I work full time and travel often for work. I like to be out with friends eating good food and drinking excellent wine or in nature when I have free time. I love to cook and especially baking and happy to share goods. I'm keen for a 3-6 month term to start with the intention of staying if it all works out well. Please note: I'm only interested in the suburbs listed and an unfurnished room so please don't contact me if you are outside of these.
I grew up living in rural Victoria, recently graduated from a boarding school in Ballarat. Wanting to move to Melbourne for 6-7 months before my Uni course in Adelaide starts in July 2017. Living in a boarding house has allowed me to grow respect for other's belongings, space and needs, so I feel I would be a valuable asset in a prospective share house. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, hockey, netball and swimming.
