I'm a 30yo guy looking for some awesome, friendly flatmates to live with long term. I work as a chef, without the chef hours, so no late nights and more cooking for you! (Favourite thing to cook? Tacos)... I'd love to find a place thats chilled out, mature, clean and has a half decent kitchen ;) I'm a social introvert, i love meaningful, engaging conversations with people, over wine or tea but need to maintain a balance between having fun and relaxing with a movie, book or meditating..i don't really watch TV but Im pretty easy going. If there's ever any wind i'll be down in St. Kilda kitesurfing and I'm also taking up pottery classes on Sunday. I have a broken banjo that i don't play, and I've also stopped going to salsa classes, but i could definitely be persuaded to start doing both. I'd be looking to find a room for a queen sized bed, but other than that i don't have much else I'm afraid as I've been away travelling for a few years.....just a few indoor plants and a taco press....for making our own tacos...obviously. I sometimes wee in the shower and I'll use up all your bowls and tea towels when i cook, but i hold my values of honesty and reliability highly. Typical INTP if that matters. Look forward to meeting you!
Hi ! My name is Guillaume ! I come from Lyon, France. I arrive in Melbourne in May for study and work. So I am looking for a private room in a flat/house share. I love sports (handball, climbing, hiking and snowboarding) and music concerts/festivals. I like to go to the cinema and sometimes to the museum ( one time per year ^^). I am respectful, open-minded, clean and tidy. I would like to find a place where we can share some friendly moments (chat, cook, drink a cup of wine) and to have my own space. I was project manager in constrcution in my country. I love travel and meet new people. I am coming to Melbourne to have a new experience of life and for my self-developement :-)
I am a fun, engaged German girl living in Melbourne since the beginning of the year. I love cooking, road trips, trying to learn how to surf atm and I am always up for an adventure, but I do love a quiet night at home, maybe watch a movie together or drink a glass of wine or beer!
Hi, I am looking for a place in the North to Eastern suburbs to move into, so key areas would be Blackburn and Forest Hill or to the north Thornbury and Bundoora. Supermarket and either a train or tram stop within walking distance would be awesome as well. I am working full-time currently but have plans to return back to the books at some time this year. Happy to move in with people who are like minded, between the ages of 22-30. Both mix of male and female. Down to earth, chilled, light hearted but also up for having fun, a drink after work some nights and enjoy a good laugh. Generally I am a tidy person, can cook and feed myself, clean and do my own washing. My weekends generally consist of being outside, out riding, hiking, or catching up with friends unless the weather is poor than its movies and chill time. But I am keen to meet or live with completely new people. so if ya looking for one extra housemate, give me a msg.
Hey :) I´m Markus, 25yo, and from Germany. I´ll move to Melbourne in May to do the first part of my PhD studies in Immunology (> 1 year) and am looking for a nice private room close to the city and Parkville campus as soon as possible. I consider myself to be very tidy, and since I lived in mixed shared apartments for 5 of the last 6 years, I know how important it is to keep common areas like kitchen and bathrooms clean - so I´ll definitely do that :) When at home I'm happy to spend some time with my future flatmates (sports, cooking, going out for a drink, watching series or movies...). But I also respect privacy, so I don't mind sticking to myself as well ;) Looking forward to hearing from you, cheers!
Hey hey :) **Please Read first Before Sending Requests** Im a friendly, easy going person that enjoys living a simple life. I'm currently living at home as I've been a carer for my mum for a number of years though circumstances have now changed and I'm now looking to move out on my own with the right person/people :) I do have some bedroom furniture, so I'd prefer a room that could accommodate for that. My own bathroom preferably too. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating in the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally :) Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Hey future roomie! I'm a Queenslander, back in Aus after a year away. Looking for change and something new so decided to move to Melbourne because, well I have no reason not to :) I work full time in community services and as a flatmate, I would say I am fairly easy to live with. I do my bit, I love to cook and share with whoever may be around at the time, eat vegetarian, love my wine, do yoga (life is all about balance!), and fairly regularly have reggae playing the background. I'm usually the cockroach and spider handler in the house, but we will have to seek external support for the snakes. I would love to live with people who also value their own space but wouldn't mind sharing an interesting conversation while I cook my porridge. Age, gender, or any other personal detail isn't important, just want to be in a space with good vibes :)
Hi everyone, We are Stef and Chris, a couple from the UK who have just moved to Melbourne and are currently looking for work (journalism and IT), and for somewhere to stay. We're are looking for a short-term let initially, but will hopefully look for something more long-term once were settled. We're clean, considerate, and generally decent, laid-back people. We like a nice sociable glass of wine and a beer every now and then, and can often be found eating takeaway and watching Netflix. Looking forward to meeting some new flatmates! Stef and Chris
I'm an easygoing friendly person and a full time student doing a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University. My interests include theatre and art. I am quiet, I tend to keep to myself, and I would look forward to being in a friendly sharehouse environment with nice people.
I am a writer and teacher, currently doing a PhD in creative writing and history. I have shared my own home in Alice Springs for many years. I am easy going, thoughtful, a good cook, love to garden and grow vegies, peaceful, progressive minded, into nature. I also like a bit of fun.
I like to think that I gel well with a lot of people. I’m quiet for the most part, but also more than happy to socialise with my flat mates. I fully understand that everyone needs their space sometimes, and I’ll definitely respect that. I don’t play loud music or smoke, and I don’t excessively drink, so it would be great to find someone similar to live with. It is a huge bonus if you love animals, as I work at a doggy daycare and pet sit at other people’s houses. I’m happy to move in with someone who either has a dog or would be open to me getting a puppy, or temporarily bringing dogs from work home.
Open and honest person. Very sociable, banter on tap but do love some quiet myself and respectful of others space. Sprinkle in a pinch of OCD means I’m tidy and orderly buty won’t throw a fit if the cutlery draw is a pic’n’mix. Generally clapped so you’ll always feel Vogue. Working part time at the moment. Pushing to bury myself into full time work as I’m quite money minded. Looking for a place where I can cement my foundations, construct friendships and ultimately build a life. Most importantly a place I can call home.
Hi there, my name is Evan, myself and my girlfriend Rosie have recently relocated to Melbourne after spending the last year in New Zealand. We're from Ireland and are both 26 and 27. We are both literature graduates, who are currently doing full time office work. Outside of work, we enjoy art, Film, yoga and music, while also exploring as much as we can in our spare time. We are both easy going and very tidy, we love to socialize but we're equally comfortable doing our own thing. Looking for a place in Melbourne for about 4 months, maybe a little longer.
Hi I’m Andrea! I moved to Melbourne a couple months ago from Canada and am looking for a place to call home with like-minded flatmates. I work as a Massage Therapist and will be attending a few school courses in the near future. I am positive, friendly, clean, reliable, easy going.. to name a few. I live a healthy lifestyle and am mindful and respectful of other people’s privacy/space
Hey we're 2 friends Kevin and Jamie, a Graphic Designer and a Illustrator, looking for a short term solution (2 - 3 weeks) starting around the 28-29th of April. Kevin has been in Melbourne for the past 8 months, working full time as a Designer, and Jamie has just arrived and is looking to settle asap.
Hi there! My name is Suelin and I'm looking for a room in a friendly sharehouse. I'd like to move closer to where I work in Thomastown, and closer to La Trobe in Bundoora, where I will be studying next year. I'm relatively new to Melbourne, having relocated from Newcastle last year in pursuit of career and other opportunities, and I'm looking forward to seeing what this city has to offer! I grew up in Sydney and then lived in Newcastle for 12 years, which I loved, but I always wanted a chance to live in Melbourne. I love everything about this city! I still have so much left to explore. I currently work full time at an aged and disability care organisation. I will be studying nursing at La Trobe next year. I'm friendly, easy going, and reliable. My most important values are honesty, compassion, and respect. I'm sociable but also quiet and clean. I have a few friends here but I prefer to go out and do things outside the house, so I don't have friends over often. And I'm always open to making new friends too! I love pets, especially cats, so would welcome a place with pets (cat in photo is not my own). My other interests/hobbies are music, film, gaming, exploring nature, riding my bike (although I'm out of practise), science and maths, plants, playing keyboard and guitar (again, out of practise), just exploring the city, comedy shows, trivia nights, card games, and reading. I'm hoping for a place near public transport, so I can easily get to work (and uni next year). Either a furnished or unfurnished room works for me, as I have bedroom furniture but not a huge amount of stuff, and anything of mine I don't need to use can go into storage or be donated. If you think I would be a good fit for your home, get in touch and I can answer any questions you have and hopefully organise a meetup.
Hi :) I'm down to earth, considerate, clean and outdoorsy. I exercise regularly rotating between paddle boarding, Yoga and Pilates. In my spare time, I like to paint, cook, bake and eat out - if I have a book I'd call it eat eat eat! I work in business and tourism department, I also run a charity project so my schedule is pretty full but I like to have some downtime for myself too. My fun time involve water sport and sunshine, music, good food and travelling. I'm addicted to travel - I've been to Ethiopia, China, Taiwan and most countries in South East Asia, Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. I'm looking for a peaceful place to call home and a housemate(s)who is like minded, easy going, respectful, clean and not afraid to share a laugh. Isaya x
Im an amazing cook. plus all my food is healthy(im not a vegitarian dont worry) i love all things geeky. Game of thrones, Dr who, Dota, card games(more than just cards against humanity). I also work for a tech company which means mass discounts. I'm a little bit of an extravert but im always on my computer working trying to get ahead in life which means i can be introverted at times. im happy to chill and have a drink. Im only looking for a place till end of july when i go overseas. I always pay on time. Only reason i am looking is because my lease is now on roll over and it would be best for me to move out now rather than deal with everything 1 month out so the move out could be sooner but i need to get all my stuff out and my lease rolls over every end of month.
Hey, I'm looking for a pet-friendly place for preferably 12 months. I have a dogfaced baby (pictured) can provide references/pet-bond if necessary. I rise early, walk Taco, do ballet workout, shower, head out. I'll be studying in the city, working in hospitality, and animal rescue. We need a dog-friendly place where Taco will be treated like a member of the household, not "treated like a dog." He loves to sunbathe, where I'm more dance-in-the-rain, but he will never be left outside all day like some unwanted plaything. He loves to connect with people and will either touch you with his paw, try to shake your hand/give you some skin! He's a joy to be with, he's my little rescue baby who will only know love and kindness for the rest of his days! I always pay rent and bills on time, have done so for 8 years straight. First picked up work when I was 9. I'm ambitious, a hardworker- only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne. Taco is house-trained, excited to make new friends, get cuddles off them, and go a lot more adventures! I take care of Taco 100% + clean as I go, all the usual stuff! I'm chill, need ample time alone for study, but love to laugh and mess around with housemates (when not too busy). Enjoy cooking, sitting down for dinner/chilling with housemates whenever- I dig the down to earth, amicable shiz. Secure outdoor area. Private room. Anywhere 10 mins (1km walk) from a station is mint! If you're experienced with sharing, and we sound like your cup of tea, message us! ^_^♡☆
Clean and respectful. Always up for a laugh. I enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising. I work as an engineer and will be relocating to Melbourne from Tasmania.
