Hey guys, my name's Dylan and I'm moving from Newcastle in order to commence study at Melbourne Law School at the start of February. I'm looking for a place to call home in an established sharehouse/flatshare with 1-4 other people, or looking to team up with other like-minded individuals to start a new one. Preferably looking for a place within walking/cycling distance or close to public transport, and would like to be able to move in by the start of February, as my course starts on the 2nd, however am flexible if I cannot move in until later. I am a relatively quiet person, however moving to a new city I am looking forward to embracing new opportunities, meeting new people, and exploring a new environment. I enjoy playing and watching sport, having played tennis for 10 years, as well as working as a coach last year. I am not a massive partier, but do enjoy a few drinks with friends on occasion. Thanks for reading. If you feel like we would be a good match, feel free to hit me up.
Hey everyone :) I'm a student from munich spending a semester abroad at the VU. I’m 21 and studying business administrations in the 6th semester. I’m used to living in a flatshare here in Germany and like it to have people around to hang out, drinking a beer together or just chilling. I’m very much looking forward to meeting new people during my stay and would be glad to find some nice flatmates to start with. :) I’m a very easy going person, tidy, always up for a little adventure but also like relaxed nights with just a movie and pizza. ;) I’d be happy to skype to get to know eachother before I’m arriving on the 2nd of February. I’ll be studying at the City Flinders Campus, so a location in the inner town would be ideal for me. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Jelka
hellooo!! I'm URGENTLY looking for a private furnished room (at least the bed, c'mon xD xD), possibly not more than 15/20 mins (tram distance) from the inner city. I'm looking to spend maximum 700$ per month. And yes, i can afford to pay rent always on due date. Don't worry! quickly about me life! I work in formal menswear in Collins st. and also (at the moment) live in the CBD but I'm starting to notice that I ain't saving much like this and also the place i'm living in ain't that nice and I gotta be a parent to my housemates who tend to do nothing at all in terms of keeping the place neat. So here is my urge to move out ASAP as i would like to avoid having to pay another full month here and prefer to give you the money and start being good housebros asap!! I don't really know what to say about myself but one thing i can tell you: I'm defenitely a clean and respectful guy and treat the house as if it was my own and my housemates as my best buddies. I don't like to party too much in the house and honestly I never do. :):) When I'm home most of the times you'll find me chillin, cooking, watching some Netflix (yes i can share it) or just reading something about how to become rich overnight!! hauahaha I'm not a party animal, unfortunately those times have gone and now i just go out with a couple of friends few times during the week for a chat and a drink. I used to be a smoker but I'm not anymore so if anyone smokes it won't bother me, but I don't smoke anymore. (100% honesty?? ok i sometimes allow myself one or two on friday/saturday night if i'm drinking something,but... anyway). if you wanna chat a bit with me please don't hesitate, i'm friendly! Dario
I'm extremely friendly, outgoing, respectful, clean and I love to do sports. I'm here with a Working Holiday Visa, I'm working and i would like to study to improve my English too. I'm searching forba private room in a shared flat, if you have one free in your flat let me know! :)
I do shift work at a hotel in the CBD part time and study uni full time, so I'll be out (or in front of my computer in my room) a lot... studying Criminal Justice and Japanese. I go to the gym a lot, or just like getting out and being active as long as I'm not working and dont have an assignment due. I just got back from six months in NZ and need accommodating asap. I need to be as close to the cbd as possible, as I'll be going back and forth from work/uni/gym a lot and hate lugging around huge heavy bags all day. Very respectful of others property, and so I expect to find others the same. I like to have a chat, but I also like alone time. I'll tell you exactly what I think - in a good way (no passive aggressive notes) I need public areas like kitchen and lounge to be clean, but your room is your territory. I would really love to get somewhere with an ensuite so I can have my own bathroom. I have furnishings for an entire 2 bedroom unit currently in a melbourne storage shed so if someone wants to find our own place I'm up for that as well. Just message me. I love to have fun, joke around, watch movies, etc. I'm an xbox and pc gamer but I won't hold it against you if you're a p/s kid ;) I'd love it if i could be friends with my housemates as that usually makes everything easier and means we can have pizza and games/netflix nights or whatever. I'm an intersectional feminist and will call you out if you say something shitty (We will be 100% fine unless you're the type of person who uses P/C in a negative context). I'm left wing. I once thought i was buying a pack of 4 mini apple pies but when i got home i realised it was a family one so i tried to eat the whole thing myself.
Hey there, my name is Tim, I am studying rehabilitation psychology in Germany and will spend a study abroad semester at the La Trobe University. I consider myself as an open-minded and spontaneous guy. Just looking for an amazing time in Melbourne and Australia in general (for me and hopefully active fellows).
Hello,I am Sky,sociable and considerate, looking for a room or a bed in Melbourne CBD,near tram or train station. I work fulltime, love laughing and outdoor sports, would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself! Good reference:)
I'm well independent. Very clean, tidy and a great company for chats, dining and drinks. Love trying out new restaurants and cafes a bit of a foodie - definitely that type who would instagram my food plus I do love food photography and I'm hoping to make a career out of it. I'm a barista and photographer by trade. Can make you a cup of coffee or an espresso martini anytime, any day. I'm doing personal growth thing and have decided to move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast. I have visited Melbourne a handful of times and I fell in love with the city. I'm looking for a room with preferable my own bathroom and a secure carpark. I have some furniture and a coffee machine that I'll be bringing with me. Ideal flat mates would be sociable people but respects privacy as well. We can chat and party if need be or watch Netflix docu or chick fliks cause we can. I'll be focusing on my health and career once I move to Melbourne so it would be nice to settle in a cool place with you all.

I am going to be a teacher. Dion - He is a friendly and nice person who loves making others around him laugh. He is moving to Melbourne to be with me and to have a new beginning in life. We are looking for a one bedroom apartment in the city in a condo. We are responsible and will pay the rent and bills on time.
Hi Future flatmate, I'm Varun and I just turned 26. I'm super easy going, understanding and social. Loves cooking (at least i try) and cleaning is something is my top most priority. I'd like to move in or teamup with the people who are responsible, reliable and keeps the house clean. i respect privacy and expect the same from my flatmates. Not a party boy but occasional outing is always on the calendar. I would never say no to Wine, cheese and a friendly banter. I think about food half of the time. Apart from paying rent and bills on time, i am house trained (been sharing apartments since 5 years) . See yas !
I'm a neat, reliable and great to live with. I work full time at ABC radio in Melbourne, love my work but also enjoying socialising and having fun. I'm mature, considerate and will respect your space.
I'm here from Canada for the trimester on exchange at the Deakin Burwood campus and am looking for a private room in a great furnished place to live! I'm open to meeting new people while we try to keep up with all of the Aussie slang. I can’t promise I won’t say “sorry” or “eh” every other sentence, but I can promise to be a fun housemate! I'm 21 years old in a Communication Studies program. I'd like to think that I'm easy to get along with as I'm a pretty social person but can keep to myself, especially while doing homework and I like to keep the house clean. I'm passionate about wine and cheese nights and do enjoy going out for drinks. While I'm definitely not a gourmet chef, I'll try my best to make a house dinner every now and then. I’ve heard that Melbourne is the hotspot for festivals and cool things to do, and can’t wait to see what the city has to offer. I'm planning to remember the “study” aspect of studying abroad, but I am adventurous and hoping to make the most of my time in Australia. I'm really looking forward to escaping the Canadian winter and cannot wait to make the beach my second home, once I find my first home before the trimester starts. I'll be arriving in the middle of Feb and staying until the middle/end of June. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
I live in Adelaide however I am moving to Melbourne as I have found full time work. Generally keep to myself but up for a chat at anytime! I do enjoy going out every so often and also I am an easy going and tidy person :)
Hi as i'm coming from the uk I would be looking for a place around melbourne, it would be great to house share for some time, i'm good at pulling my weight, i'm quite a sport fanatic, i've brought with me a xbox one so you can see i'm a gamer too especially with fifa :), i'm just an all round nice guy who can get on with anyone. hope to hear from you soon
HI there.. I am looking for temporary accommodation just for 1 week in March. I would be working at the Albert Park during the Grand Prix and hence need to stay nearby track. If you have a room available in your house/apartment, please let me know. Thanks in advance, Rahul
student at RMIT working part time originally from sydney have lived with others before, very easy going, love having a bit of fun, quite tidy, like to cook move date is not set, can move anywhere in the month of feb
I'm Baptiste, french, 27 years old and I am about to start a 2y Post-Doc. I'm used to live in houseshare and I love that! I lived in 4 different ones and I have seen them as little families ! I move to Geelong with the ambition to find a new one as friendly as the previous ! I am a very smiling and open minded person ! I love cooking, sharing drinks with my flatmates, have a diner in front of a good movie of even spend a weekend together. I also play piano and I am pretty sportive (running, tennis, biking, windsurf etc ... )
I'm Fredrika, from Lund in Sweden. I'm in Melbourne for an exchange semester on UniMelbourne and therefore looking for someplace to live. I'm an amazing flatmate (according to previous ones), and I'm a decent cook but amazing at cleaning. I've been told I'm quite fun to hang with. I like to watch and discuss Netflix series, music and I enjoy a beer or more from time to time.
Anywhere near the Deakin Waterfront campus would be great. I've been told I'm pretty easy to live with; I'm pretty clean and organised and will be spending most of my time at Uni or outdoors anyway. I'm usually pretty reserved and have a quiet personality; though that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the occasional beer. I also have no problem with pets; I love animals.
Friendly, respectful and very tidy. I'm studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design. I'm from regional Victoria and moving down to Melbourne for uni. I'll be studying full time and have a part time job. If I'm not at school or work I love to hang out on the weekend.
Hello all potential new friends! First of all, please excuse my giant face. Every photo I try to upland somehow turns into a slightly unflattering close up. Anyhow, I am a bubbly and positive human being, currently living on the Sunshine Coast (have a lease here until Feb 9th), looking to make a move to Melbourne as I'm missing the culture and liveliness of the city. I'm transferring from Sunshine Coast to Deakin to study full time starting March. I study sport and exercise science with a passion, and hope to find work in the industry once settled in Melbourne. I love spending my free time in the kitchen, or being active whether it be in the gym, doing yoga, dancing, walks, or general adventuring. Occasionally the couch gets the best of me and I may spend the day binge watching a series on Netflix. I like having a clean and serene space to call home. I do enjoy my "alone time", especially after busy days, but I would love to find a place to share stories and grow into friends with my housemate(s). My partner lives in Sydney, so I would be going away for a weekend every now and then, but I hope to find a place where he would also be welcome to stay over on occasion. I'd prefer to find a room that is already furnished, or at least partially, as my possessions are quite limited. My budget going up to $250 would hopefully include the bills and internet, or at least most of them, though this is negotiable depending on other details - so please don't hesitate to ask! My preferred length of stay of 3 months can extend to be significantly longer if the place is right, but I would like to see how I settle in in the area and if it is convenient for my weekly schedule. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you believe we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you. Warmest regards, Anniina

I love spending time with others, having a meal, chat and a laugh together, as well as spending time on my own. I love : - Cooking (creative and any fusion cuisine) We can share our passion for food by cooking together ! - Traveling : discovering new places, culture and meeting people to share and continuously inspire me - Photography : self-taught amateur photographer fascinated by landscape and macro photography - Sport : biking, hiking and badminton - listening music : eletropop, pop, hip-hop, electro hop, indie rock - Seeing movies : science fiction, dramas, adventure and action films

I'm basically the best house mate ever 💁🏻 I am moving to Melbourne in the next few weeks and am looking for a room (ideally furnished - fine if not) in a house/apartment for 6 months until my friends arrive. I am a positive, honest and reliable person. I will be working a lot and I'm generally out and about all of the time. A garage would be ideal as I'm shipping my car over toooooo. Shoot me an email 🍑
My name is Michael, I'm 28 and work as a lawyer in the city. I've lived in a number of share houses in Brisbane, London and Melbourne over the past 8 years (I'm originally from Queensland). I'm a tidy, considerate and sociable housemate, and I always pay the rent/bills on time. I like to make the most of my weekends and get out to live music, comedy, sport, markets, cafes, go on road trips or visit the beach, or just spend down time at home watching a movie. I get on well with all walks of life and I always look forward to meeting new people!
We are a group of Backpackers who are working full-time here in Melbourne to make enough money so we can travel again. That means that we save money where we can and the most expensive thing to do here in Australia is drinking and partying so that is why we stopped doing so. We are respectful people that loves a clean and tidy place to calm down after a hectic day of working.
Easy going and social but respectful of other people's space and privacy. I've been living in share homes since 20, hence I know to pay bills on time and always like to keep clean and tidy. I have my own furniture and belongings and am looking for an unfurnished room. Current lease in Carlton North is coming to an end sadly after more than a year! I'm looking to find a new home around the inner north. Feel free to ask if you want to know anymore.
Hi there! I'm an adventurous American guy from California, who works in a cafe full time and is planning on being in the city until August, maybe longer. I'm looking to live in a laid back place with a social roomie or two. I'm a travel writer and photographer and enjoy going for hikes/photo adventures on days off and a pint or two! Why not. I love a good chat, but enjoy my personal space as well. Hoping to find a place by the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb! Cheers :)

Apart from that I work part-time at the IT-Department of Freie Universität. I am a very open and happy person and I love to have interesting conversations. At the same time I respect your privacy. And I love to cook and do my regular workout. I am looking for a place where I can study peacefully and safe. Apart from that I am looking for a clean appartment because I am a tidy person myself. I am a full time working professional currently in the process of moving to Melbourne to start a new full time job. I'm a non smoker easy going and relaxed person, also very respectful of other peoples privacy and space. I am looking for a furnished room, please PM me if you have a spare room available or are looking to share with someone, thanks!! :)
Hey I'm Curt, 22 from England. Very fun, easy going Englishman working in Richmond in a sales job. Have been living over this side of the world for a couple of years now and would love to settle down in or around the Melbourne area. I enjoy socialising, chilling out after work with a few beers, playing pool, cards, paragliding, mountain biking, going to festivals and events! I'm always up for trying new things and I love meeting new people.
Hi Everyone, I am currently working full time in the CBD area and looking to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the CBD area. About me: I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
*6 MONTHS, or 1 YEAR, 6 MONTH MINIMUM I'm 21. I work a lot. Excellent rental history. Currently living in Melbourne, looking to move back into my hometown of Geelong, ideally in mid/late feb. I am allergic to most cute-furry creatures, with dogs being the exception. Sorry!! I'm putting my Biomed degree on pause to pursue the starving-artist life for a full year (doing a short course) - a starving artist with jobs I stress!! With that being said I'd love to find a place with a little bit of space to get creative. As long as my bedroom isn't a shoe-box then that would work :) I'm a very tidy person. While I'm definitely guilty of letting dishes pile up in my sink across those busy work days, I like a house that is, if not neat, just clean. I like my own space but always happy to hang out and chat. Respectful of others space, but I won't be a stranger in your home! Happy for housemates to share in the creative side of things if interested. Socially I'm always in and out - never opposed to a good party but not the sort to host a rager at my own place. More into occasional drinks (with some mediocre TV, I am set.)
Hi I'm Natasha. I am Canadian and this is my first year living in Melbourne. I work in the CBD in finance with normal to long hours, and sometimes weekends. I am generally a pretty responsible, quiet, and neat person. I also like to be social and have fun, but typically prefer to go out than to bring people over (although I don't mind if you do). I would ideally like to live with people around my age (I'm 29) who are easygoing and open to making new friends. Please do not contact me about sharing a room, I am way too old for that!
Hi I am Renee and I am 19 years old. I am hoping to find a new home to share with a group of out going open minded people around Prahan, St Kilda, CBD, Richmond areas. I am a trustworthy, tidy person who enjoys cooking, travelling and going out with friends. I am excited for a change of environment and to find a good home with fun, positive and understanding housemates who are needing a new companion in their home.
Hey, I'm Nikki and I just moved here from Brisbane to start a full time job. I am looking to share a flat with people who are easygoing and enjoy a laugh. I'm super clean and tidy and don't mind doing my share of all the house chores!
Hey! I'm moving to Melbourne On the 8th of February from New Zealand. I am a Film and Media Graduate who used to live in the US but came home to finish studying. I specialise mainly in Photography. I am a very trustworthy, kind and honest person. Someone you can rely on for a heart to heart or a glass of wine ;) I like to live a pretty chill life style but love to occasionally go out but never bring it home. In between working full time I plan to travel occasionally but still come home. Look forward to talking to all!
