Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. During the last 7 years, I've been living in various share houses with people coming from different backgrounds among different ages and I'm familiar with sharehouse lifestyle. I do exercise regularly, it's been a while I do yoga, Tai Chi, walking and also swimming. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I prefer to live with people who care about keeping the place clean and I'm happpy to do so. I'm not only looking for a bedroom but also for people who like to communicate in their free time. Please contact me if you think we can get along.
We are a laid back friendly couple who are super neat and tidy and have no problem in paying the bills on time! We come from Wales in the United Kingdom and just travelled around Asia for 3 months which was pretty awesome!! Currently trying to find accommodation in Melbourne for up 6 months to a year, to continue our travels in the future. We love to cook, take photos, read and enjoy walking! We aren’t shy of having a few drinks too!
Hey there! I am a young professional from the England on a years working holiday visa looking for a place to rent in Melbourne. Ideally I would like to stay somewhere for 3 months but don't mind maybe staying a bit longer. I'll be there in exactly one week starting 29/01/17. I am friendly very sociable so enjoy meeting new people and enjoy experiencing new things. It will be my first time in Australia. Emma
I'm currently working full-time and studying part-time. I'm looking for a relaxed house with relaxed people. I'm tidy, never leave dirty dishes (perfect, right?) and will happily walk someone else's dog if needed.
I am a 25 y.o. accountant working in South Melbourne. I tend to keep to myself but I am always up for a bit of banter over beers or dinner, even hanging on the couch. On the weekend you can find me usually out and about with my mates (wouldn't mind if you'd come out with us once in a while) or doing something with my gf (welcome to third wheel too) so the weekend isn't a total waste. I cook and clean and I am pretty handy around the house (usually fix technological issues around the house). I love to binge on TV shows whilst smashing my dinner and sitting there until I realise I have achieved nothing tonight. I attempt to be active regularly by playing basketball once a week and trying to get into the gym a few times a week. Although I am shy at first, I am very easy to get along with. I am quite chilled and usually up for whatever. Looking for flat mates that are sociable but don't intrude. Looking for a place preferably with a parking spot. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi my name is Bec. I am 25 years old and originally from the U.K. I have lived in Melbourne for 3 years and am a permanent resident here. I work full- time managing a cafe in north coburg. My interests are reading, music and I play for a social basketball team. I love good conversation and sharing meals/ wine with housemates but respect people's privacy. I am a clean and tidy person who is easygoing and up for a laugh. Please contact me if you are interested in sharing a home with me!
Marcus, 26 years old, Australian born but also the proud holder of a British passport (thanks mum). I was born in Melbourne and have lived here most of my life - except for 6 months in Canada and 2 years living in Ireland. Recently returned to Australia to lay some roots down, I am now looking to move out into the outer city suburbs to make it easier to get to work and to be in amongst this great city. I am an English language teacher working in the CBD on weekdays, in the evening and on weekends I like to work on my writing. I value my own space, independence and am an introvert at heart, but I love socialising with people as long as they are genuine and easy-going. I have a low tolerance for facades and would expect respect and honesty from potential housemates. As I work in a social job, and am quite drained at the end of a day, I would like to live with others who respect the space of others while at the same time enjoying hanging out occasionally. I'm not after a party household and would enjoy living with others who are in their later 20's who want a mature and "got-their-shit-together" type to join their household. My main hobbies include reading, writing, photography (medium format film), and going to the cinema. I love visiting Nova Cinema, the Astor and the Kino in the city and try to go once a week (minimum). I'm also a voracious music lover and have it on most of the time. Expect to hear me singing along to Jens Lekman or Kings of Convenience at some point! Socially, an ideal night out would be a good dinner out then plenty of red wine and chats, or seeing some live music. I also adore coffee and enjoy nothing more than sitting at a cafe with friends, chatting. I would be after a non-furnished room in a cosy house with lots of light. The vibe is important for me. I also want a room big enough for my bed, a desk, and all my books.
Me and two of my friends, we come from Thailand w/ working and holiday visa and student visa. We are looking for an accomodation to live together. We will arrive at Melbourn airport on 15 february 2017 and we hope to have a place to stay on the same day. We are tidy and easy going persons.
Mid 30's public servant relocating from Canberra for work and looking for a good housemate to team up with, or a nice person who can offer a room until I can get settled on my feet. Hoping to find easy going housemates who take pride in their home. I'm looking for more than just a house, but a place that I can call home. I'm rather quiet but I do enjoy a laugh and being somewhat social. Not looking for a party house, rather a place of refuge that I can come home to at the end of the day. My ideal flatmate would be someone who is also quite and a little reserved, but enjoys a good chat over a glass of wine. Someone who respects privacy is mandatory. Happy to share the cooking or keep it separate. I'm not the best cook but really do enjoy it. Interests include talking politics, travel, aviation, literature, web development and reading. Paying bills and rent on time of course is a big factor. I'll be brand new to Melbourne so somebody to explore the city with and make a new friend or two would be advantageous but not a requirement for a housemate.
I work in finance, recently accepted a transfer, looking for accommodation from short to long term. I dont smoke, I enjoy a sociable drink. I am unable to inspect any places since my work will be keeping me in Brisbane until I move. I am happy to Skype to meet any potential flatmates.
Hi I'm Halle, 19, Student. Looking for accommodation around LaTrobe uni (not strictly the suburbs I've listed). I'm tidy and sociable but am respectful of others space. Will be looking for part time work as I like a balance between work and play. Looking for some chill room mates hopefully around my age. (I also have a 9 year old border collie x kelpie who loves people and is very well trained. I'd love somewhere I could keep her but if not it's no drama as she'll happily live with my brother.)
I'm Jasper, 27, from Halifax, Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada. I'm an architecture student here in Melbourne on a master's degree work term until August, 2017. I love music (studied music before architecture and I'm a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, bass, drums and piano - would love to find people to play with!), I'm social, I like cooking, I like biking, and I'm a friendly person who doesn't take himself too seriously. I'd love to go see some good live music in Melbourne while I'm here and maybe learn how to surf. Cheers!
I'm Yanna i'm half brazilian/australian but have lived in Aus since I was 11. I'm a 25 year old Registered Nurse currently living in Sydney but making the much needed move to Melbourne in late January start of february (sydney is culturally dead). I've lived out of home in share houses since 18 and have always loved it specially getting to make new friends and getting to know new people. Looking for an unfurnished room in a share house for a 12 month period. I'll be working part time at Royal Melbourne Hospital but looking to do some design/creative studies and work on the side. I will be honest......I'm pretty much the best housemate you'll ever have. I love cooking and eating but most importantly feeding my housemates delicious food and wine. I like to find the balance where I can hang with housemates on the occasion after work or on weekends for food, drinks, gigs and chats but also enjoy my own time. I always leave communal spaces clean and tidy and enjoy making space homely and comfortable and always check with everyone prior to inviting friends over (usually for a dinner or drink not a last min rave party). Like everyone else in 2016 I'm really into indoor/outdoor plants specially working on keeping them live, I've had a year of trial and errors so I should be good by 2k17. I'm obsessed with music and love going to music events specially a lot of underground kinda stuff. I also love art and really enjoy getting into creative projects. If I sound like the kinda person you wanna share a home space with let me know. For a bit of a vibe of what I'm about IG account is the way to go :).

I spend most of my time at Uni or in my studio, and want to live with happy, calm, creative, inspiring people.

I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working non-stop for the past few months, and am looking for a sharehouse in Melb. I spent 8 months here last year payin between $600-$1200 per week for serviced accomodation, so am looking at something different this year to enjoy financial freedom. I would love an apartment building that has a gym, and pool/tennis court as I love swimming and tennis. Alternatively, somewhere with a beach would be great too. I always clean up after myself straight after using the kitchen, and am friendly and easy going. I am starting my second university degree in March after completing my bachelor of accounting already.

Hi! I'm open minded and relaxed. Live and let live I say. You do you, I'll do me. I'm quite clean and a good cook when my budget allows. I've just finished a film and television degree at the VCA. The goal is to be a film maker. Most of my time is dedicated to this end. I like to keep to myself though will occasionally like to have a few friends over. I'm also not adverse to meeting and interacting with new people/ having strange people about. I've got a ferret which has made finding accommodation in the city a bit difficult. She mostly lives in her cage or my room. Her name is Lyra and she is very well behaved. She doesn't scratch walls or tear up carpet so aside from knocking over the odd glass she's quite harmless. She's also good with dogs (Knows to be wary of them) and gets on quite well with cats. She's a bit smelly but I spray her with a flowery coat deodorant to keep it under control. She sleeps about 20 hours out of the day so you normally don't even notice she's there. (We have that in common. hah!). If you have a spare and room and open to having a ferret around please message me because you are quite rare!
Hi guys! We are two Spanish girls from Colombia and Spain that need a new place to call home due to lease ending. We both are 24 y/o students working part-time as well. We can also cook you some traditional Spanish dishes :) We're able to move ASAP and at last before 7th February. We have a budget of $200 pw but we are willing to pay more for a really cool place. Preferably looking for furnished rooms but it's not a problem for us if they aren't. So if you have 2 single rooms or a one that can be shared don't hesitate to contact us ;) Thank you in advance!
Hi! ***Looking to move on the 20th of march*** Full time student from Argentina, doing a master of engineering at unimelb. I would like to share a house or apartment with likeminded people who are positive, friendly and enjoy each other's company. You won't have to worry about keeping the place clean and tidy. I suck at playing musical instruments, so I won't be making loud noises either. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Hey! Me and my boyfriend Rory are from country victoria wanting to move to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We are both turning 20 this year. I will be studying nursing at ACU (and working) and my boyfriend will be working full-time. We both have savings behind us so paying rent on time etc will never be an issue :) We are both reliable, considerate, honest, and aware of the needs of others. We love to chat and share a meal from time-to-time but are also introverted and enjoy our alone time. Would love the chance to get to know you better and what you are looking for in a housemate! Cheers!
I'm Native Spanish speaker super easygoing clean, tidy and responsable with housework. No discrimination at all, pet friendly. Although, I'm not a smoker I don't have any problem about it, Enjoy share a meal, wine or beer every now and then, as well as hanging out or go for a party o just few drinks. Very good dancer specially at salsa and Latin rhythms 😏, so I'll be open for teaching either Spanish or a few salsa steps.✌️
I'm Kelly, I'm looking for a place that's close to public transport as I have Multiple Sclerosis (this explains "retired"). I pay my bills on time and clean and respectful of others. I can also come with a large fridge and/or front loader washer if it's needed. I'm a qualified hairdresser, love gardening and indoor plants, crafts, comics, gaming, and make a great granola. I love going to gigs but marathoning a series is not something I'm inexperienced in. Give me a bell if you are interested in me being your new housie, or want some more information.

Financially stable, into films, botany, good music, food, culture etc. Mostly busy and have my own things going on but I also enjoy having downtime with housemates/ having mates over to share food & vibes. I go interstate a few times a year sometimes for work/ to unwind/ suss gigs/ visit friends and fam. No stranger to share housing and would ideally like to live with like-minded people!
