Hi! I'm a 30yo visual artist (I work mainly with recycled/ found textiles in Sculpture and Installation). I used to be a classical ballet costume maker in Brisbane, before moving to Melbourne 4 years ago to study Sculpture at VCA). I graduated a year ago, and now I work for Craft Victoria in the city, and as a weekend manager of a reclaimed furniture showroom in North Melbourne, as well as developing my own art practice. (My heart lies in my creative work). I am quite house proud, clean, a non-smoker, meat-eater, calm, a bit quiet at first, happy and friendly. I always pay rent and bills on time, I love having a good chat and caring about (and feeling comfortable with) the people I live with, after a big day I am very happy to have some quiet time too. For fun I like to be with my friends, and go out to hear local bands. I ride my bike most places and I've lived on the Northside since I moved to Melbourne and I love it here. I come with house plants, teas, books and a big smile. I don't have any pets but am very keen to live with one.
Moving from my hometown of Perth to Melbourne in pursuit of a more exciting life in a bigger city! I'm an avid musician, writer, and world-traveller studying literature, and I'm definitely interested in team-ups with other creative types, starving artists, and students in general. The more of us there are, the easier it'll be for us to afford a place fit for throwing parties and hosting couchsurfers! ;) Move in date and preferred length of stay are definitely flexible, and so are my preferred suburbs; although I would rather live somewhere a little more vibrant and central, I'm totally willing to compromise for the right roommates and housing situation. My goal here is to give myself and other students/artists an opportunity for affordable accommodation (anywhere from $100 to $200 a week per-head, preferably on the lower end of the spectrum, even if it means sharing rooms), and to create an environment comprised of diverse, interesting, and like-minded people and good vibes! But I certainly can't do it alone, and don't know anyone in the city -- so if you too are interested in putting together the grooviest communal house in Melbourne, please let me know! All races and genders are welcome. LGBTQ+ friendly.
I work 4 days a week as a vet nurse and teach yoga in between. I'm all about lifestyle, so home is important. I prefer green spaces, so a house or a park nearby is ideal. I'm a low-key vegan and have been living with non-vegans/vegetarians, we all make our choices and I respect yours. I don't mind the occasional beverage but I'm not a big drinker. I'm into drama-free, healthy, conscious living, mindfulness, yoga, travel & all outdoor, nature related things. I've been living in various places abroad for the last 9 years, and am just settling back into life in Australia. I'm all the mod-cons of a flatmate, friendly, clean, responsible, and I like recycling, plants, kombucha, and creative endeavours! I would prefer to live with like minded people who don't mind the occasional house chat/catch up, a ghost house where we tip toe around each other is fine for students but I prefer to create healthy connections with the people I'm sharing space with. In saying that, I also like my own space and will respect yours. Pets are good, I love a cuddle as much as the next person, but despite my profession, I prefer not take responsibility of yours unless it's an agreement we've had somewhere along the way.
I'm fantastic to live with because: I'm quiet and studious most of the time, but can still be sociable and have some bevvies with the boyz. I clean after myself and am always co-operative when scheduled/asked to clean up. I have a strong sense of ethics and responsibility and am always looking for ways to improve myself. But most importantly I try to create a calm, relaxing living environment.
Full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Easy going, originally from central Victoria. Am into good films and books, cooking, music. I receive Centrelink youth allowance payments which cover my rent. I'm looking for a relaxed house with people interested in what they do/study.
Very easygoing and tidy. 3 outgoing brits who love meeting new people. In melbourne for anywhere between 6 months and 2 years. Main interests are sport, socialising and travel. Always looking to experience new things.
Hey, we are looking for a one bedroom apartment for around 4-6 months in Melbourne. We would ideally like to be based in Hawthorn as that is where I study, however we are open to St Kilda or other areas of Melbourne. We would ideally like a flat that is furnished but could purchase our own furniture if needed. We are a really friendly, clean and tidy couple who take good care of where we live. If you have anything similar to the above please feel free to send us a message! Thanks, Daisy and Ryan :)
Here is some information about myself. I am 19 years old, a second-year Monash student in Caulfield. I am currently not working but I might find a new job this semester. I am an open-minded, absolutely clean and quiet person. I appreciate personal privacy. I am definitely not a partying person, I usually study and work hard on weekdays and go out to have some chit-chat or brunch with my friends on the weekends.
I am a Southern Englishman who has lived in Southampton on the coast for past 20 years. I am incredibly sporty with a great sense of humour and a well rounded personality. Very tidy and organised individual. Hoping to find housemates to socialise with but still respect each other's privacy. Non smoker
Hi I'm Hannah and I'm currently studying both a Bachelor of Science at RMIT and Veterinary Nursing. Moving out of my current place because it's too expensive and looking for something a bit closer to Camberwell where I am work placement. I am looking for my own room in either a little granny flat or a share house with some similarly aged people that is close to public transport so I can get into the city easily for uni! I am super friendly, love to socialise but at the same time respect other people's privacy. I always clean up after myself and have been living in a sharehouse for the last two years so I know the drill! Message me if you think you might have somewhere I might like :) Hannah
Just a quick bit about myself: I'm a 25 year old male studying full time Masters of IT. I've lived in share houses before and know how to keep clean and be respectful of others and their privacy. I'm a big fan of the cinema, board games, video games, sports and I'd like to say I'm a pretty social friendly guy - definitely enjoy a drink or two and going out with mates.
Hi :) I'm looking for a private room in a house with a backyard area for my dog, Nugget. I'm clean, respectful, have great awareness and am considerate. I'm friendly and love company, but am quite happy having downtime too. Love dinners with friends but not a massive party person. Nugget is a love unit and will try to sneak a cuddle. She's house trained and I'm continuously enforcing awesome behaviour on her. I'm also happy to team up as I have all the furniture to start up a new place.
Hi, my name is Martin and I’m from Germany. I’m working full time as a bartender in a restaurant near parliament station. I’m recently looking for a place to stay. I’m very tidy and quiet. I’m looking forward hearing from you. Dear regards, Martin
Hello from Pakistan! Coming to Australia for the first time, I will be studying full time at Monash city campus. I do not prefer partying as much, I can be social but also respect ones privacy and would love to help around the house! I am a clean and tidy person, i like living in a laid back environment, little fun on the side, love to watch films, listen to music, can cook some things too. Can’t sit around at one place for too long, I walk a lot, always up for hiking or camping out or playing any sport. I also have a musical instrument (Rabab) of Afghan origin which I play then and now, radiating good vibes only!! 22, straight.
I'm a relaxed and sporty Kiwi relocating to Melbourne on the 21st Jan for full time work as a software developer. I'm an outdoors fanatic and traveller so enjoy going out in the weekends on some kind of adventure. Rock climbing, Cycling, Surfing I do a bit of everything. I love to get into more meaningful conversations and create a homely feel. If we are living together we shouldn't be invisible to each other. Being open to late night snacks and casual drinks with some intelligent conversation is great. I don't watch T.V. don't drink to excess, rarely eat fastfood and don't smoke. I try to keep my mind and body in a healthy state and enjoy company with others who also do the same. fb ben.edridge
Full time professional looking to move in as close as possible to the heart of Melbourne. I am a bit of a home body but also enjoy going out. I enjoy cooking, workout regularly, am tidy and love to have a clean home. I'm also very organised so never fear regarding the payment of bills on time. I'm a friendly, outgoing person and would love to find a housemate who can be a mate. I would love to have someone to hang out with in the house but am also respectful of space. As a bonus, I also have every piece of furniture really required for an apartment so all you would need to bring is a bed! And even with that, I have a couch which turns into a bed if you would like... Because I already have all the furniture, I'm not looking to rent a single room in an existing sharehouse. I'm hoping to find someone who is happy to start a new lease for me so therefore need someone who's ready for a 12 month lease commitment ideally. I'm looking to live with a woman working full time, non-smoking and not into drugs please.

I am 19 year old Filipino, born and raised in New Zealand. I moved to Australia 2 years ago to begin full-time dance training in Sydney and now in Melbourne to start a pre professional course at Melbourne City Ballet. I will be there 6 days a week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. I am quiet, responsible and a respectful housemate. My boyfriend Keegan will be staying with me until Friday 26th Jan, then after that it will just be myself living with you. Looking to move in as soon as possible.
I am clean, energetic, understanding and mostly I keep to myself and my studies. If I am not in the apartment, I must be at the Library. Thank you for listening to me, and I hope to hear from you soon. Cheers.
