i am coming to melbourne all the way from India to study my masters in business management at la trobe university collins street! i've travelled a lot, so i pretty much get along and understand different cultures and their way of living. Since i have already shared an apartment for 3 years during my under grad am really adjustable, clean, tidy, responsible and up for any household work. I love meeting new people since it allows you to make amazing friends from all around the world. I am looking forward to move in with some killer roommates to do anything like a movie night or a casual meal/coffee as long as we keep it respectable and fun. I'm up for anything adventurous and crazy, also you can wake me up at 3 am to give you company for a walk, obviously with a beer or two. If you dont have a beer dont bother waking me up. JK. party at leisure, gym, dancing, sports, brunch, dogs, cars, live music, NAPS, Longer NAPS, BEER, WINE, TV shows, movies and it goes on. Travelling to different cities or countries during holidays? yes, please.
Just moved over and looking for somewhere to call home, new to Melbourne amd looking to make friends. Work in marketing and really easy going, enjoy a good night out at the weekend and clean. Would be delighted to see what accomodation is available. Niall
I'm from Japan. I came here as an exchange student. I'm currently studying at Deakin University. I'm looking for a private room with furnished. I need to stay by the end of February or beginning of March.
I am originally from Denmark and have lived all over Europe and the States. I have traveled a lot as well and had many different types of roommates. I am very flexible when it comes to noise restrictions. I love to have a good time and am very social, however alone and quiet time is also very important. I always keep my stuff neat and clean my dishes immediately after use. I'll also gladly take out the trash!
Hi, I’m after a short term house share room for a couple of months in between moving out of my old place and waiting for my new place to be ready. Move in ideally on 1/2nd Jan until late Feb. I’m a working professional in the cbd and work long hours so am not home much on the weekdays between work and the gym. On weekends always keen to socialise and cook a nice meal. I have a partner and she is staying at our Perth home during this time but may visit once for a weekend in late Jan.
Hey! I'm Louise, I am 26 years young! I'm a fun and friendly melbournian primary school teacher. I live for brunch, I would not call myself energetic but I love going on adventures and enjoying what Melbourne has to offer. I enjoy going out on the weekends and I also enjoy staying in with netflix and some trashy reality TV, a drink or two and some good company. I have lived in flat shares before in London, and understand the importance of looking after communal areas, but I am in no way a neat freak. I am looking for a home where I can hopefully find some new friends, not just a room.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs, but please- don't offer unless the move-in date is at least the 1st of January, i've had like 50 messages recently for places that need to be taken asap and I can't do that haha I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender.) I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.
Hey there potential new housemate! I'm Hayley and I've just graduated from an accounting degree. I am moving in Jan 2018 from Sydney to start full-time work with NBN. I have been renting a granny flat since June 2016 so you needn't worry about someone who won't pay their bills or keep the house clean. In my free time, I love watching live music, watching crime shows and reading. I do not smoke nor do I have pets but do not mind if flatmates do. I am always up for a chat or night out but am quite happy to stay home also. Can't wait to meet you! I am only available for inspection from 24th - 28th Dec, or after Dec 29 as I am still working over the Christmas period but have a few days off. A video tour would be preferred.
I'm a friendly and outgoing person who would love to call a nice quiet place home. I respect others' personal spaces and house rules. But that doesn't mean that I am a strict and boring person. If you are heading for some party time during the weekend, count me in.
I'm very open minded and easy to get along with. I work with young children so some personal attributes that come along with that is my patience, kindness, creativity (at times), spontaneity and flexibility. I'm not one to cause issues, I usually just go to work and gym and when I'm not doing that I try to socialise with friends outside of the house. My main passion is fitness, in particular, strength training and mixing in some cardio for good health. Finding a a flat mate with a similar passion/ interest would be amazing! If you like to eat relatively healthy, that's an added bonus for me because you can keep me on track with healthy eating habits. In return I can help in trying to keep you motivated to train which may mean a casual cardio adventure such as the memorial track walk. I like to keep tidy so I'm hoping to find someone that is the same. Oh and on another note, I am allergic to cats and honestly not that much of a fan. However I do like large breeds of dogs but not so much the small breeds. Anyway that's just a little about me, I'm hoping this helps so I can find a flatmate with similar traits and interests.
I am a full time student in Monash at Caulfield. I am a non- smoker, chilled out guy in my mid twenties. I like football, music, travelling and video games. While I love hanging out , I do also respect other's privacy. I am currently searching for a room to stay near by Caulfield/ Malvern (Private room in a fully furnished property) with a valid covered/shed parking (enough for a motorbike). Any place you got, hit me up. Cheers
Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD. Prefer no pets with free rein of the house as sadly I have allergies.
My name is Lisa, I am an 18 year old German student that just finished her A Levels and is now enjoying her gap year in Australia before going to university. Currently my plan is to stay approximately 6 months in Melbourne to earn some money, that I will later on spend on travelling the whole country and going on exciting adventures. As I work most of the time during the week, I would love to come back to a cozy home everyday and catch up with my roommates. Furthermore, I am a very clean person, that respects given rules. Overall I am just very easy going and fun to be around. I absolutely love meeting new people and the atmosphere of a shared flat, since it allows you to make amazing friends from all around the world. Therefore, I would truly appreciate, if you message me, when you consider me as your new potential roommate!
Seeking a furnished room, bills and internet included in rent. I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I commence full-time on 18 December and hope to study counselling part-time in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.
