Hi, I'm Ellie! I recently moved to Melbourne from Canberra for a full time job in the city, and am looking to live in a sharehouse in the surrounding suburbs. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, catching up with friends for brunch, writing and getting out and exploring nature! I'm looking to stay from a minimum of 6 months to potentially a year or more :)
Hi, I'm Tessa, moving from Canberra to Melbourne in March! I'm pretty easy to get along with and am a very chill housemate- not a neat freak but definitely respectful of communal areas and always happy to chip in and help out. I work in hospitality and am pretty social- I enjoy heading out to try new restaurants and bars (without bringing the party home), playing social sport (Touch football, AFL 9s or Netball at a pinch), watching and performing in musicals. Ideally looking for housemates in their mid to late twenties who are as happy to hang out, enjoy a good glass of wine or a gin and watch a terrible (ie. quotable) movie as they are to do their own thing and enjoy their own space. Get in touch if you think I sound bearable or if you have any questions!
My name is Carlo - I'm 24 years old - originally from Italy, holding permanent residency. I have a background in public affairs. I'm an independent, neat & tidy and friendly person. I enjoy my quiet space and respect other people's privacy while I also enjoy occasional chats over dinner. Lover of Arts & Cultural initiatives.
Hey! I'm Violet. I am 22 years old. I am looking for a place to live preferably in the Eastern\South Eastern Suburbs, or the city. I'm pretty flexible, as long as it's in driving distance to a train station\shops etc. then I don't mind. I am an art student at Melbourne Polytechnic, and I work part time delivering with UberEats (also have an inflow from Centrelink). I have three beautiful dogs (Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) who will be coming with me. Yeah, I know that may put people off having dogs, but I'm not going to abandon them. They're very friendly and playful, but also have their quiet moments too. They're gorgeous! I'll clean up after them, so please don't stress about that. They're mainly indoor dogs, but they do love a good play outside. I'm looking for a place that has very good fencing back and front. They are little, and can easily escape if the fencing isn't secure, so I'm very particular about that. If it's in an apartment, then no problem, it's just housing then it needs a good fence. I'm shy and reserved, but also friendly and approachable. I'm clean and I'll do my part in the house rules. I'm a non smoker, and don't like partying, and I'm vegetarian. Looking to rent with kind, trustworthy and respectful people. I have a partner, but he won't be joining me, however he may come and stay with me occasionally (if that's okay of course). Please give me at least a month and a bit, as I need to pack up where I'm currently living and find someone to take over that place. Thanks.
>Looking for bedroom, couple, 2 weeks stay, even better if flexible until we find our own flat. Right now we need one bedroom for a couple asap, as our first short-term flats-hare is at a end, and we still had no luck finding a flat for ourselves. Anywhere within a reasonable distance to the Melbourne CBD is great, preferably close to some sort of public transport. We're friendly, clean and helpful, loving a nice chat but also fine at enjoying our room to ourselves and our new laptop! Thanks in advance! Old first add: I heard bout this site from my brother who had nothing but praises so decided to give it a go. My gf and I are moving to Melbourne in January from Croatia (she's Croatian, I'm half-half dual citizen, mum was born in Aus. Lived most my life up in Cro) after a loooong time of planning for the big change and hoping to start ourselves a new life, finding work, learning new stuff and generally just living there! We're both pretty easy going, and moving from a flat in Croatia where we also have 2 roommates, so we're used to sharing space. We are tidy enough, I'm maybe a tad bit tidier than her! :D (she's a artist after all) We're outgoing, but not the annoying type, so we've no problem in keeping to ourselves as well. We're gonna be trying to look for jobs even before we fly down, and jobhunt to find something asap. TLDR: Couple looking for a affordable place to stay, as we're fresh in the country and need somewhere to start. Have no real set duration, would possibly like to look into getting our own place down the line. Finding friendly people would be great, and even more amazing someone semi local who we can gratefully mine for information. (We pay back in home made cakes n treats! XD ) Thanks for the read!
Hi There, I am a 25 year old Female, working full time as a Registered Nurse. I am currently living in Adelaide and venturing to Melbourne for new job opportunities. Looking for somewhere end of Feb/ early March. Looking for something on my own or to slip into a share house with likeminded people. Also open to starting a new place with others looking to start a share house. I am easy going, very clean and tidy person, and work shift work. I have a small dog, who is very well behaved who I would ideally like to be able to make the move with me. Let me know if I sound like the right fit for your house :)
Full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Easy going, originally from central Victoria. Am into good films and books, cooking, music. I receive Centrelink youth allowance payments which cover my rent. I'm looking for a relaxed house with people interested in what they do/study.
Hey! I'm currently studying full time at the University of Melbourne, taking Psychology, so am looking for somewhere to stay in that area. I moved to Melbourne last year from England (classed as a domestic though), so I'm not too familiar with the city. My lease ends in February, so would like to be moving in around the same time as this. I spend my time listening to music, watching too much Netflix and reading, so It would be awesome to meet new people and get social. I like the occasional drink and just chilling out. I'm a non smoker (doesn't bother me if you aren't) and am very tidy, so that helps right? I'm pretty open about roommates and would love to have a chat with anyone to see how it could go! I'm also very open to team ups, as I would like it to be long term.
I am Danish, 25 and doing a master of Biotechnology at RMIT. Just finished the first semester, and am therefore looking for something long term (1,5 years). When I am not studying, I spend a great deal of time going to the beach or having beer/wine and good food with friends. I have previously worked a lot with beer at Carlsberg, and at a beer bar with the largest selection of beers on tap in all of Europe (fun fact), both in Copenhagen - now I'm trying to find my way through the large selection of Australian craft beer, and could definitely use a bit of guidance from future housemates! Also, I go swimming a lot, do a bit of rock climbing and go for the occasional jog. I love the outdoors, so will probably by going for a few weekend trips whenever I have time. Also I am trying to learn how to skate... Still undecided on whether or not that's a good idea though - always looking to try something new, some projects turn out more successful than others... I am quite social and I might have mates come over once in a while, but I will always be considerate of my fellow housemates, as I've lived in all sorts of shared house constellations, and know the importance of mutual respect. Think I generally clean more than most people, which doesn't bother me, and never seemed to bother any previous housemates (surprise!). I laugh a lot, live my life drama-free, and generally don't take myself too seriously, would prefer to live with like-minded people, ideally in a house where we actually share a home, and not just live in rooms next to each other. Get in touch if you think I might be a good fit for your home.

I am 24 years old, recently moved over from Perth, and work full time Marketing/PR Monday-Friday. I am extremely tidy, respectful, friendly, love to both chill or socialise out at bars or gigs, and enjoy nature and the beach. I am looking for a place to live in Richmond or surrounding areas to move into ASAP! :)
Fun, Happy and easygoing South African looking for a private room in shared accommodation - looking for something modest and neat. I am a young working professional with a stable permanent office job in the Civil Consulting Engineering field. Moved to Melbourne half a year ago after accepting an intra-company transfer from Durban South Africa to work on some major VicRoads and PTV projects. My specialist short stay Visa has now been converted to a four year 457 Visa with Permanent Residency thereafter, so I can now commit to more permanent accommodation, sign a lease, buy some furniture etc. I am fluent in English, a Non-smoker with sober habits who has got their sh#t together in life and doesn't sweat the small stuff. Looking to live with people who feel the same. Focussed and hard working during the week, although I do love socialising and going out, and I'm always out exploring and enjoying everything this great city has to offer - definitely not a couch potato or the awkward silent type. Interests include longboarding, snowboarding, mountainbiking and cycling, surfski paddling, hiking and any kind of adventure in general. Oh and, I'm South African - which means amazing braai skills :) (Braai = Barbeque)
Hey! I'm a 25 year old female from the UK, I'm working as a casual relief teacher full time here in Melbourne and am looking for a place to call home. I'm busy during the week but enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, watching tv with flatmates and family dinners! I'm all for going to explore and dance on the weekends :)
I’ve just returned from a semester abroad in the UK to finish my genetics major at Monash University. When I’m not nerding out over CRISPR, I work part-time at a restaurant in Richmond, mainly on weekends, so I’m not home much during the day. I like spending time outdoors and have a mediocre ability to run long distances, play tennis and ultimate frisbee. I like getting to know people, and I’m always up for a coffee, glass of wine or checking out a local gig. However, I do respect that other people have different, busier schedules, and can appreciate the need for space and quiet at home. I come with a couch if there is the need/space and a car if you ever want to take a trip to the beach (it does fit a surfboard). I don’t mind if the room is unfurnished, I am flexible with the move in date and can sign on to the lease if need be. Ideally, I am looking for somewhere I can stay until the end of November (at least). If you have any questions or just want to know what on earth ultimate frisbee is, send me a message! Cheers
A clean, hygienic, social and fun guy to live with. I come from Bangalore, India. I already have a job and I'm on the hunt for a new one. Also looking at joining a University for my masters. I like to sing, workout and party occasionally. But sometimes, I enjoy staying at home and binge-watching movies and Netflix too. Looking for male/female flatmates to live with. PS: I'm also big on perfumes, so you know I'll always smell good.
