I'm a bubbly and super friendly girl (woman?) who really wants a place to call home with a group of cool people. I work quite a lot but I love coming home to friends and Netflix (preferably together). I like me time but I also like to go out every once in a while and have nice dinners :) . I'm also a very clean and tidy person and would like to live with like minded individuals. I thrive with housemates with open minds and open hearts who I can have great conversations with and be like a family with.
My name is Louise and I am a textile designer originally from Ireland but have been living in Melbourne just over two years now. I am looking for somewhere long term ideally so 6 months - longer only please. I'm positive , neat , fun and very easy going ! I'm very conscious of peoples space so I definitely like alone time but also want to move in with someone who is easy to chat to and friendly . I work full time Monday - Friday and I am very active so most weekends I am out and about. Looking for some room mates that are easy going, neat and fun. For more info please contact me.
I have plenty of experience living in share houses and flats so I am use to sharing spaces and doing my fair share of weekly chores. A little about me: I am an 24 year-old American student who will be starting a masters program at RMIT in Feb. I spent about 10 months living in Australia from September 2016-July 2017, including a 3 month stint living and working on a vineyard south of Geelong. I am very easy-going and love the outdoors, live music, relaxing with friends and watching netflix. I arrive in mid Jan and am hoping to move in sometime around then. I am looking to live in a share house or flatshare with people around my age. Look forward to hearing from you!
From Sydney but been in Melbourme for 2 years. Looking to rent a furnished (or unfurnished) room for 6 months in a shared flat/house. Work in music industry (office based, 10-6) and travel for work alot of weekends. Try to keep fit and go to gym most mornings, pretty chilled during week, enjoy a night out but love a night in, like to cook, dont mind a wine, beer or gin, travel etc. Like to be able to hang out with flatmates but also respect own space.
Hi, everyone! My name is Heath, and currently seeking a new share house and/or sweet set of housemates. If you have a spare room available for me, please read on! Ideally, the arrangement would begin in early January. I recently graduated from law school and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I will be working in the city next year, and for convenience sake, hope to live there too. Having moved back with my parents in recent times to save some funds, rejuvenating my independence is a key priority. Prior to this, I have spent many years living in share environments. #willpaythebills I like to keep busy and value personal development, but also value relaxing and letting loose when the occasion arises. It follows that I am happiest when around people who live life to the fullest. #maxenergy I keep an open mind with people, my future, and opinions. I love meeting new people and building connections. Much of this attitude comes from extensive travels abroad. #bigpictureperson My humour must be described as sarcastic, blunt, and dry. If you are overly sensitive we may confront difficulties. #banterisking In terms of tidiness, I value keeping communal spaces clean, and will definitely adhere to a cleaning schedule. However, the state of my room will often reflect how hectic my life is at any given moment. #teameffort Finally, I have few physical assets to bring to the team at this stage, but can argue my way out of any utility late fee, and can even give you a tip or two on where to place your next investment. Hobbies include running, socializing, going to the market, and polishing my shoes. Please send me a message if interested!
chill, respectful, great cook, love movies, relatively quiet, friendly, clean hi, my name is Samantha and i am a student moving from Perth to Melbourne next year to study at RMIT. i am moving to Melbourne on the 16th of January and will be looking at staying for about 6 months. if this works for you feel free to contact me. I'm looking for max $160/week including bills and wifi thanks.
I've returned to Melbourne after a 3 year break. I'm not sure how long I'm going to stay but would like to rent a place on my own for an initial 3 months until I figure out how long I intend to stay. I'm an IT and Web Development Project Manager, I work contract but I've never been out of work. I've rented in cities all over the world and rent out my own apartment in Glasgow, I think this helps me know what it takes to be a good tenant. I'm originally from Glasgow, Scotland but I've been living and working in Melbourne, Berlin and London for the past 8 or 9 years. In my spare time I like to take photographs which I hope one day to make into an exhibition. When the sun isn't too fierce I like to go on adventures and get involved in what's going on. I'm here to enjoy the summer, catch up with old friends and work while I'm doing that.
Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of Meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet. I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm getting back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Starting off well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can (rock climbing hopefully soon). Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will become available any time after now through to 'early-ish' next year (Just after new year's would probably be ideal.) Also, need somewhere close to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks! Lucas
We're an open minded couple from germany and italy. We have been travelling together for the last couple of years and we're really excited now to live in Melbourne. Fed is a Bartender and music producer, he loves to cook and to practice sports. Ann is going to study medicine next year, she practice Artistic gymnastic and loves to read.
- 26 years old and female - recently moved to Melbourne for a full time work opportunity. - 9-5 worker and quiet through the week. I am a good humoured person that likes my alone time but am friendly and also like to go out and socialise. Super clean around the house, don’t smoke or take drugs. Do drink, although generally not to excess in the house. Want to feel comfortable to have a few beers at home as and when, but certainly not looking to throw all night parties or anything like that. What I’m looking for (ideally, will consider other options) : - furnished room - bills included if possible - good internet connection - suburbs of main interest are St Kilda, CBD, South Melbourne, Docklands, South Yarra, Carlton, North Melbourne, Brunswick. - below or around $300 but I can stretch for the right thing. - month to month arrangement or no more than a three month lease to start. This is just to be safe, if everyone’s happy I’m open to longer term. - I would like to live with someone 20's/30's who is clean and respectful of space. I am happy for people to stay over (friends, boyfriends/girlfriends/family) as long as it is not so much they should basically be paying rent. I’m not weird about guests of visitors and want a housemate I can trust to make good decisions and who trusts me to do the same. Basically looking for true share environment where I am comfortable to use the space and don't feel like I need to hide in my room (and no one else in said environment feels that way either). Keen to move ASAP. Please get in touch if you think it would be a good match. Please no offers drastically out of area. Thanks so much!
Me and Jack are best mates from home in the U.K. and we've been backpacking together for a year now. We're both very easy going blokes who always want to try new things and are just up for a laugh! We enjoy meeting and getting to know new people, and we also like our chilled days too. I'd like to think we're repsecrful of people's space and needs and we're also clean and tidy people! We love sports, music and are big foodies, so we're really excited about living around Melbourne!
Hi all, my name is Dylan. Recently graduated uni, and working hospitality 4-5 days a week in the city. I've been a part of the sharehouse game for quite some time, throughout uni, and am looking to make the jump from the southeast to the wonderful northern suburbs! I'm a Tasmanian, and go back a few times a year to visit the trees and endearing bogans. I enjoy a few quiet beers, bbqs, gardening, vegging out with a book on a comfy rug or patch of grass, hiking, roadtrips and tacos. I also like to tinker with things and am a real fan of the versatility of milk crates. I have a decent lot of experience with sharehousing, and can be social or quiet as the house mood calls for. Currently looking for a place in the vicinity of 6 months, but I am flexible in this regard. To have a new place arranged around the 11th Dec would be great, but not essential. Hit me up if you think I'd make a good match for your place!
Hello! We are two Swedish sisters currently looking for apartment in Melbourne. Both of us love cooking food, having breakfast (with coffee!) at pretty cafes and traveling while taking photos of everything we set our eyes upon. We are on our first year of our working holiday visa and are planning to settle down in Melbourne in the end of November ✨✨
I’m Mizuki from Japan. I’m 25 y.o. Currently I’m moving to Melbourne from Gold Coast to develop my career. Hopefully I’m getting full time job down there. Therefore I’m looking for a quiet room and I’m not party girl. However I like chat, hang out sometimes and have a coffee. Anywhere in Melbourne that I can access to CBD in less than 15 mins by tram or train or walk. I don’t mind it’s shere room or private room. Hope I hear from you. Thank you.
Hey, my name is Wiebke and I'm a German girl! Most of the people can't pronounce my name, so just call me Mimi (this is my nickname). About myself: I finished this year my A level in June and then I spend three month in Manchester, living and working there. After the three month I came back to Germany fro three weeks and then I decided spontaneous to do a work and travel year in Australia. I already traveled the east coast and now I want to stay a bit longer here in Melbourne, living and working here. Living with me together is pretty comfortable I would say.. :D I'm always for a laughter and I'm a very chatty person. Having good talks with the roommates is key because when I'm living in a shared room, I prefer to know the people around me and I want to enjoy the time while I'm living with different people/nationalities together. I would love to cook with you together, get to know the differences about menus and enjoy the taste of good food while watching Netflix maybe? I'm very outgoing as well, I love to spend time outside, walking around, partying or just chilling in the park. Also I'm kind of a clean person, I don't care about a bit dirt but it shouldn't look like a mess and regular tidying up is important. But when everyone is cleaning up their own mess, than it's not a big deal, isn't it? ;-) Thanks for taking your time, reading my profile and hopefully we will see in the next time, eventually living together? Cheers, Wiebke! x
Hi, we are two friendly and easy-going females moving to Melbourne looking for a clean, tidy, and quiet, all-female, and no smoker apartment in the CBD area. We are sensitive to noise so we prefer housemates with no night shifts or playing music at home. One is going to study at the University of Melbourne and another is a working professional. We are relocating from Hong Kong and are both nice and friendly. For CBD areas(in free tram zone), our budget is 400AUD per week for two including all bills and the Internet. For Southbank area, our budget is 300AUD per week including all bills and the Internet. Max. 4 housemates with shared bathroom or any if we can have our own bathroom. We can move in before 6 Dec.
