I am 35 year old working professional working in the film industry. I studied Grafic Design as well as Visual Effects & Computer Animation for feature films and TV commercials. A little more about me. I’m a laid back, easy going person and respectful towards others. Also, I’m very organized, reliable and like to keep things clean. I like to socialize but not bringing the party back home. I live a very active & healthy lifestyle and have way too many hobbies - I do crossfit, climbing, running, Aikido, surfing, snowboarding, sailing, I bike to work and I am currently learning how to fly a helicopter, and yes, I also like to cook...but not making a mess 😊 Throughout the last 8 years, my line of work allowed me to live & work in many countries/ cities such as: Berlin, Dubai, Florence, Paris, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Wellington NZ, and now Melbourne ... I know what it takes to establish and keep a healthy atmosphere within a flat share arrangement, and I am always exited to meet new people from different countries, mentalities, religions and political views. Thank you for your time! All the best, Bastian
Hi! I´m a Swedish girl that soon is becoming a backpacker in Australia. I'm planning to start I Melbourne and to stay there for one and a half month from middle of September to late October. In the start of October my cousin is also coming along but we can share a room with one bed if needed. So I´m looking for a room with one or two beds in Melbourne, close to the CBD. I can cook, clean and don't smell too bad and my cousin is nice too.
Hey future flatmate :) my Name is Alex I am 27 years old and I am from Germany. For an international Project I will work for 3 months at Mercedes-Benz Australia in Mulgrave. Therefore I would love to live in Melbourne and get to know new friends. Since it is my first time in Australia I will probably go for some Weekend trips to experience also other cities and sights in Australia. I am a really active Person I love to do sports and since the ocean is so Close to Melbourne I am looking forward to go kitesurfing and Surfing in the area. Maybe this is also possible at St. Kilda beach!? By the way on the Picture thats me with the mascot of my favourite Soccer Team which is Union Berlin. His Name is Ritter Keule. Furthermore I also like to go out on the Weekend and meet new friends but it is also fine to have a relaxed weekend and just watch some movies and cook some delicious food. During my time in Melbourne I will have a rental car so we could use this car to check out the Melbourne area or to go Shopping or to buy groceries etc. If you have any other questions let me know. I am looking Forward to meet new friends and cool flatmates in Melbourne!!! Greets from Berlin Alex
I work full time in the pet nutrition industry in SE Melbourne/VIC. Like to go out on weekends or get out of the city, but just as happy staying in and going for brunch Sunday morning. Currently living in the north, so I'm keen to be east/south east to cut out a long and frustrating part of my commute. I love to cook, have netflix nights or chats over a glass (or two) of red, read and exercise and go out with friends. Looking to start up a lease on a place as I am equiped with nice furniture, a stable income and a very well behaved and housetrained cat/bunny duo. Would love to find people to share a home with, as opposed to just coexisting under the same roof. Hoping to get a 3 bedroom with two others, or even just one person and then filling the third bedroom later (I'd cover the room until it was full). As I have furniture and animals I would lease a place myself if I could, however I would have more luck getting a larger place with a second person and three people sound like a nice little family to me. Happy to have someone on a working holiday staying 6mo or more as the only furniture needed is bedroom stuff. And maybe a microwave and toaster if you have one... :)
Adaptive. I fit the house rather than the house fits me. I've lived in many situations, with many types of people. Just back to Melbourne after living in Beijing and Manila.
Hi, I'm Laura, moving to Melbourne for work. I'm easygoing, clean and considerate around the house, sociable but not a party animal. I work full-time, study part time, like to get out and about (hiking, camping, exercise, arts, social events). I also like cooking and would love to share dinner with housemates occasionally. I don't smoke and would be looking for a non-smoking house. I have no children or pets, but am fine with other people's. I'm looking for a long term sharehouse, preferable for 1 year or more, with great people and positive attitudes. People and location are important to me, not fussed if the place is fancy or not. Please let me know if you have any questions or know of something that might suit. Cheers Laura

Twenty-year old Brit looking for accommodation for the remainder of my time in Melbourne. Easy going, tidy & always down for a drink, a chat and a meal [I like to think I can cook, but we'll see]. Been traveling around and living in different countries for the past few years, but laying some roots in Melbourne at a job I love in a city I love!
Me and my daughter are jumping the ditch from New Zealand to Melbourne in early October! We are super laid back and like to get out explore and check out what cities have to offer! We love anything from gigs and chilling in the park to going on a bush walk or road trip but mostly we love the beach. I also enjoy a good drink or 12 :) We are looking for some like minded people who doesnt mind being sassed by a 6 yr old. We would also prefer to take over the lease on a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. I am willing to pay more to have our own place close to the city.
I'm a 40 year old Kiwi - just relocated to Melbourne and working full-time in the CBD. I'm clean, tidy and sociable. Cat and dog friendly. Looking for a room - somewhere close to city, or at least close to tram lines. I'm totally house-trained and respectful of all people and their space. I don't have much stuff, just two cases and a mattress.
Hello! Short term stay needed please! I need to move out from my current apartment (living with the housemate from hell) and have around 4 weeks between moving into my new house. I would need to move in on the 28th August for around 4 weeks. Not too fussy with location just close to transport would be great. I work full time in the city for Victoria Police and am very OCD clean and respectful. No partying or drugs etc! Please email if you have anything that would suit :) x
I'm 23 working in Marketing Operations. I like to fill my precious time off with great food, wine and friends. I also go to the gym a few times per week. Favourite show is suits mostly because Harvey Spector is gorgeous! I do have a cat which sleeps inside at night on my bed and outside all day. If that's an issue I can give her back to my parents but if you like cats I can bring her - flexible either way! Personality wise I'm outgoing and driven. I'm not home a great deal of the time but when I am I'm looking forward to a chat or an occasional shared meal as I currently live solo! My lease is up on the 14th of October so I need to move between the 1st-13th of October. Open to team ups! I have a whole heap of brand new furniture I can bring or can store at my parents :) Any questions let me know :)
I love socializing, doing yoga and pilates, go out for a drink or a bite to eat but I also enjoy some time at the house and relax, listening to music and cooking! I am here on a work holiday visa, but I got flown over to work as a PA and Nanny in Malvern. I am part-time living in (so one week I will be there Thursday till Monday morning and the next week Wednesday till Friday). At the moment I am sleeping in Hostels in Melbourne and trying out different areas, well actually I only stayed in CBD until now! Anyway! I would love to find an apartment where I can leave my stuff and enjoy my free nights! Not to far from Malvern, because I still have to go back and forth on the days I don't sleep there! Somewhere between Malvern and CBD. I am pretty laid back and off course I clean up after myself! Moving date is not important and the lenght of my stay depends on how long I will be in Melbourne! But probably 9 months up to a year in melbourne
Hey everyone, I’m looking to team up with one or two people to establish a new house with (open to to existing places too). :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, TV/Netflix, games and outings such as live music events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. I'm also open to lots of other stuff- if you want to drag me over to an art gallery, help you make miracles in the kitchen (can't promise i'm great with that) or head to a basketball court- i'm also willing to do that if you convince me. :') I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard. Suburbs/move date are flexible.)
Hi! I'm Martina and I'm a media & com student at Swinburne. I've been in Melbourne for 3 months at a short term stay and am looking for my next place to move. I would consider extending the lease if I like the place/roommates :) I am a quiet, respectful, easy going friendly person. Also a bit of a clean freak. I would love to live with some people my age so we could hang out on evenings and weekends! Ps I need a furnished room :)
