Hey future roomies! I am a fun and outgoing person looking to meet some new friends and have some fun in Melbourne. I'm very adaptable and respectful person in the sense that I'll be clean, quiet and mindful of other people's space. I am looking to work as much as possible in the coming months so there is a good chance I will be busy, I am currently working with a few different promotional agencies. I am a pretty relaxed person and am very easy to get along with. I speak Spanish, love sports and fitness and enjoy spending my money on clothes. Hope to find an awesome home with some awesome people!
I'm an easy going girl who left her home country Germany to explore the beautiful Australia (which I was also born in) and to meet lots of great people from all over the world! I'm working (soon full time) in Windsor so probably won't be in the apartment 24/7. I like to spend my free time with friends (new or old) and have a passion for hiking. I love to be active and am always up for a new adventure! But apart from that, I am also one of the girls you can just hang with, watch movies, get take-away or go out for drinks. To sum it up I am really easy to live with. I'm tidy and fair, so I appreciate the 4 walls I live in and respect the people I live with!
Hi, I'm Josie - 23 years old, moving to Melbourne in February to begin a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I am a neat, tidy and quiet housemate, who has lived in shared homes before. I spent the last year living in London and working as an au pair, so I'm very used to doing my cooking and cleaning around other people's schedules. I grew up in Sydney and then lived in Canberra for my undergraduate degree. I suppose Melbourne was the next natural step in my south-west migration! I have quite a lot of furniture already, including a full-sized fridge, a three-person couch, and a LOT of bookcases, which I am happy to contribue to shared spaces. I enjoy reading, and of course love animals, so it would be great if I could have a small pet (think goldfish, not horse) , but no pets is definitely not a dealbreaker. I currently only have a UK mobile, but will be back in Aus with an Australian phone on February 4th.
Hey. My names Ben I'm 23 currently working full time as a carpenter. I'm a pretty relaxed house mate. Enjoy my sports going to the beach and socialising with mates. Bills are always paid on time and always clean up after myself.

Please contact us if you have any double rooms which we could rent! Cheers Ben and Hannah

Hi! I've just moved to Melbourne (from Brisbane) and am looking for somebody to Team Up with to share an apartment. I am currently staying with a friend, so I can move whenever I find the right place and housemate. I am a fairly quiet housemate, however like to have a chat when we cross paths and maybe share a meal here and there. I enjoy cooking, so you may be the taste tester on occasions. I am clean and tidy and like the shared areas to be like that. Happy to share all chores evenly. I have all kitchen goods, appliances and furniture (except for your room) currently in storage while I live with a friend and find a place. I like South Yarra, however open to other central options. I will be working in Collingwood Monday-Friday. I also have a car, so will need a car space. My preference is for a 2bed/2bath apartment and to share with only one other. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Nikki
Deferred last year and recently returned from working a full season in the Canadian Rockies, currently working full-time on the Peninsula over summer before moving into the city to study. Sociable, easy going, independent, and tidy. Will be studying at RMIT.
Hey there, My name is Daniel, I have just moved from Germany to Australia so I´m looking for a room in shared house/apartment. I'm a German guy, 25 years old and a postgrad student in Management and Engineering. I like to think that I have a good balance being social with studying or being a netflix binger! During my studies I lived in Berlin, Munich and Sweden – so I'm usual to share home and easy to get along with. I´m a tidy person and respectful of privacy. I´m studying at RMIT until end of june, so this would be my renting period. I love doing sports, espacially tennis. That´s why I´m already in Melbourne (visiting AO), and would love to meet you and share more about me as well as to hear more about you. I´d like to live with friendly, communicative room mates, respecting other´s space but open to grab a beer or a glass of wine. If this sounds like a deal, please write me a message, I will answer asap. Cheers, Daniel

Hello, I'm an international student from Nairobi, Kenya. Ethnically, I am South Asian and Arab. I am going to move to Melbourne as a Bachelor in Design (Architecture) a first year student at University of Melbourne. I am easy going, quiet (at first) and tidy - I don't mind sharing out the responsibilities in a shared house. I enjoy some nights out, or days out, and sometimes like to stay in. I enjoy having a laugh and respect everyone's privacy. I would like to live with other students (preferably first year), and would also like to live in an ensuite room, but don't mind sharing it with clean flatmates. Thank you.
I'm an IT consultant. I enjoy outdoors, sport, watching Netflix and a little bit of chat. I'm very tidy and clean. I have a tens of good references on Airbnb. I would be in the apartment only in the evening (but out a lot for networking) and at night. So I'm not in often. On top of this I need a room only Monday night to Friday morning as I go away back to Bairnsdale pretty much every weekend. So I'm the ideal flatmate
Hi my name is Dat. I am a working professional who is looking for a place close to the city. I am pretty easy going, open minded and considerate of others. Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports/going to the gym and going out to bars for a drink or two.
Hey flatmate world, We're a fun loving couple looking for some new housemates in Jan/Feb 2017! We both work full time but are definitely up for getting together with our roomies for a social drink or bite to eat whenever possible. We both love going for brunch, playing different sports and watching trashy telly in our spare time. While we are a couple we are also great at doing thing separately. We are both super clean and as an added bonus Max is a tradie so he's super helpful with jobs around the house. Together we also have all the furniture needed to furnish a new house so if yours is missing anything, there's a high chance we'll have it. This is also perfect for anyone wanting to team up. If you want to know anything else about us feel free to message!
I am an easy going, friendly, clean and organised 32 year old female. I work full time in the city in the finance industry. I work Monday to Friday 9-5. I like to keep quite a healthy and active lifestyle and like to keep fairly busy but do enjoy unwinding with quiet nights chilling on the couch. I enjoy relaxing with a good glass of wine and a nice meal or heading to the pub for a beer and would be happy to share with someone who would be up for that too. I am quite social and enjoy a chat and a drink but am by no means a party animal, I enjoy my sleep too much these days! I very much enjoy my down time and will always respect your time, space and privacy. I am looking for something long term 6 months + and a place where I can feel at home.

Hey there. I am an 18yo girl from the south east area but looking to move out of home this year as I am starting uni and want to be closer to the city. Studying bachelor of property and real estate at deakin Burwood campus. I am always motivated to get out and do things, such as going to the gym, walks, hikes, weekend adventures, so I am never lounging around the house 24/7. I love cooking and trying new things when it comes to food but I also loooove my desserts and chocolate. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
We are a family of three. Myself, wife and a daughter of almost four years old. We are the best to live with. Friendly and Godly. I am a Research Student with RMIT University, while my wife work part time and take care of our daughter. We live a peaceful but very friendly life.
Hey I'm Nigel, 29yo Kiwi, however I've been here about 7 years now and have pretty much lost my accent. I'm currently working in the city as a support person for a construction industry web app. I'm fairly respectful of privacy and generally keep to myself unless you want to hang out, in which case I'm usually keen to watch a movie or have a quiet beer and a chat. As for hobbies, I'm big into horror movies, the more occult themed or psychological the better. I own a guitar and have been known to play on occassion but not for some time. I generally try to get to the gym at least 3 or 4 days a week and I like playing xbox, watching a movie or reading to wind down in the evening. I'm currently a smoker, but am really keen to quit so if you're a non-smoking household, that actually may be better, haha I'm not particularly high strung about anything but my only requirement is a reliable wifi connection as I do occassionally need to work from home. If I sound like the kind of person you'd like to share a house with, please flick me a message. I look forward to hearing from you!
My name is Jess and I am 27 years old. I am currently working as a Customer Service Officer on a full time basis at Box Hill Institute. I am originally from Mt Macedon in the Macedon Ranges and have lived out of home since I was 18 when I went to university living in College and then in share houses. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (Languages) and a Bachelor of Education (P-12). My interests include: sport, travel, reading, shopping and spending time with friends and family. I love to just love having a cuppa or a wine and chatting. My weekends mostly consist of going to the footy. I like meeting all different kinds of people. I am looking for social housemates who like having the occasional meal/drink together while living our own separate lives. I like to keep all communal areas tidy and want housemates who are respectful in that. I am looking for housemates who are kind, caring and respectful of others.
Hi, I'm a 21 year old Danish girl who has been living in Melbourne for the past 4 months, I'' looking for a room in the southern suburbs, where I can stay preferably until winter! I'm very easy going, likes fun nights out but also chilled night and privacy
Architect recently moved to Victoria and working part-time for a local university. Clean, tidy and considerate of others in a shared space. I have a car (pref off-street parking) and a bike and looking for a reasonably quiet, friendly inner-suburban place not too far from civilisation. Looking for 3 to 6 months initially with possibility to extend if all good.
Hi. I'm planning to move to the city or somewhere closer. I'm a postgraduate student so looking for people who are decent and fun to hang out with. Being an IT student, I wouldn't say my sense of humour is that bad :P Other than nerdy stuff, I'm into sports, fitness, cooking, eating, and movies. A "balanced" life. I'm particularly interested in people who are willing to rent out a whole apartment for ourselves ( 1 or 2 bed ) which usually requires bond of around $1000 each. Hit me up on 0.4.1.2 if 8.0.8 you're 8.6.3 interested. Cheers :*
Hello! My names Jazz! I love all things art related, visual art, music & dance. I work in security 6-7 days a week, I'm hardly ever home always at work, gym, dance or visiting family. Just want a comfortable place to come back. I stick to myself a lot of the time and enjoy hanging out in my room but always up for a friendly chat... I also love blasting music so I hope that's not a problem 🙊
Hello hello, I'm a 21 year old student from Paris but moved to Melbourne two and a half years ago and love it here! I'm finishing by bachelor of commerce majoring in Marketing and Finance. I lived in college for the first two years of study but I've had enough and want to experience something else. I would describe myself as a very bubbly and happy person, I'm very social and like to go out with my friends a lot. You are welcome to join us, all of my friends love to meet new people! However I will not bring them home, I fully understand that the house is a calm place that you want to come home to after a long day. I'm very tidy myself but grew up in a messy family so I don't really care how the house looks, it's up to you. I think that I'm super easy to live with, it's very hard to get me out of my good mood. I'll have to study quite a bit since it's my last year so I'll probably be at uni during most of the daytime and I try to go to the gym four to five times a week. My New Year's resolution is to learn how to kite surf so I'll be heading to the beach at least once a week, join me if you'd like, the more the merrier! I love to binge watch Netflix with pizza and wine but generally eat quite healthy food (or at least I try) that I am happy to cook for the entire house. I'm looking for a fun household of open minded people who are keen to be friends over flatmates. Cheers for reading all of this and maybe see you soon! Alexia
I will be moving to Melbourne to start a new full time job in early February - but am looking to move at the end of January. I'm friendly, respectful and tidy. I also enjoy the occasional red wine with friends. I lead a relatively healthy and active lifestyle, currently loving barre! Would love to find a friendly household that are young professionals and ideally not a party house.
Hey guys! I've just moved down to Melbourne from my studies on the Gold Coast (originally from the States) to complete my Doctor of Physio degree at Peter Mac Cancer Centre. I'm currently house sitting and looking to move on March 1st when my friends return from their travels. I'm pretty flat out with work and uni but love socialising over dinner, movies, or a cheeky beer or 5! I like being a clean human and am pretty easy going. I'll be finished with my studies in April and am hoping to stay in Melbourne indefinitely. I've been a bit of a nomad due to my studies the past 2 years and so I'm looking for a place to finally call home for a while.
Hi, I am a 27-year old female who moves from Germany to Melbourne to study Naturopathy. My Uni is in Elizabeth St so I would like to look for something close by. I am a qualified yoga instructor as well as fitness instructor and an almost qualified Health Coach. I love cooking (healthy), being active enjoying the sunshine and I love spending my time with friends, to talk, laugh, watch movies instead of going out partying.
My names Sammie, I'd say I'm a great person to live with. I'm looking for someone to move to Australia with however I'm doing this quite a bit in advance in order to get to know and trust someone before doing so. I am moving from the UK and have never been to Australia before, but has been a dream to live there since being a child. I am a tidy well respectful person, I like to make any space look homely. I'm never too noisy and I respect other peoples space and belongings, I'm basically looking for someone I can become very good friends with, (preferably at least one or two females as I don't want to house share with all males And like all girls, I'll need some girly chit chat) I love my movies and books with a nice box of chocolates or a tub of ice cream, I love those hair slapped back no makeup on type of days but just as much as this I love getting ready nice and early and getting out of the house. I like finding new places to eat, new things to do and I love making new friends. I'd say I'm quite sociable around people I get a good vibe from. Yes I do smoke but I will never and will not move with anyone who smokes indoors. Smoking outside only as I cannot stand furniture or the smell of smoke in the space where me and other people have to spend our time as it is not pleasant at all. I hope to find someone like me who I can get to know, trust and make plans with before setting off on the big move.
I'm a 22yo guy who just finished his Honours in International Relations at La Trobe University. Though I am currently looking for work - I do have a stable income stream to pay rent, etc. I love politics ( a lot), history, maps, movies, music, a drink every now and then, cooking (eating), and just hanging out! If you want to know more just shoot me a message! I also connected my instagram.
I just turned 26, I'm Irish and over here in Oz on a working visa I worked as a Social Care Worker back home for 2 years but felt that I wanted a change so moved to Oz at the start of January 2017 I recently got a full time job with a construction company in Melbourne I love playing/watching all sports and having a few beers I am very social-able and feel I would make a great house mate If you wanna know anything more about me please feel free to ring or text me :)
Hi, I present me: I'm Ilaria, 24 years old italian girl, just graduated in History of Arts in Venice. I am looking for a double room (to share with my italian boyfriend Andrea) in a share flat. We are nice, polite and clean. We love cooking italian food (and share with our room mates :) ) and we enjoy spending evenings with our friends to watch film or to talk.
G'day, My name is Laurie. I am 40 years old, Australian, and work as an excavator operator. I Have a 6 year old male short hair border collie named Bon who is very friendly and house trained, he is a very well mannered dog. I am looking for an easy going house where my dog is welcome inside. Would be nice if i was moving in with people that would enjoy sharing time with him. The ideal situation for me would be living in a house where maybe someone that loves dogs works from home or a house with another dog and secure yard as i hate leaving him home alone whilst at work, not because that's a problem, just because he is so intelligent. I have vintage taste, I like older style houses that are furnished with second hand stylish bits and pieces though open to modern, I am also a music lover and like to collect vintage audio equipment, vinyl records etc. I am not one to watch a lot of TV i prefer to have music playing and i listen to all genres though I also enjoy peace and quiet. I have lived overseas spending nearly 10 years in Scotland and a couple in Ireland, Where i actually rented rooms my self to people so I am big on respecting your fellow housemates. When I am working I start on site at 7am, so I am generally getting up at around 5, I take a quick shower ,make my lunch and shoot out the door. Times may vary a little depending on where I am working. I don't want to live in a party house, its 2017! I am giving up smoking so would prefer a non smoking household, my intentions also are to start living a healthier lifestyle, I want to be closer to the beach for both my self and the dog, maybe join a gym etc. Though i also want get out and enjoy the restaurants and be able to go down the local and chill with my dog and a cold beer on nice days. I would also like to extend my social network which is part of the reason for moving to the city, I am currently down the Mornington Peninsula which has its limitations. My intentions are to also keep saving for a house, so i don't want to go overboard on rent, though i will be happy to pay a bit more for a place with a bit of space, and that is most importantly right for my dog. I don't have a lot of furniture, I would only be bringing bedroom stuff, kitchen stuff if needed. Though I am pretty resourceful, have a Ute, and I am always op shopping or hitting Garage sales...if there is anything needed i will find it. No i am not going to furnish a house with rubbish! (-; You would be amazed what i find. I think I would like to be living with people around 35 to 45 though I am open to anything really as long as it feels right. I also have a motorcycle (GSXR1000)so if there is room for that, that would be excellent though not essential. I think that will do for now until i can think of more...please ask me any questions, and i will do my best to get back to you asap. cheers Laurie.

Full time visual merchandising TAFE student seeking house or flat share situation (private room) with one or two females. FIrst time living out of home but well versed in the basics of running a household and being responsible. It will be a new experience living with people other than family for the first time, so having a flat mate/s a bit older would probably suit well. Will be mostly studying during the week but using weekends to let hair down and be with friends/interact socially. Personality is a bit quirky (in a good 'sense of humour' way), creative and articulate. Mother (in pic) is helping search to find the right fit.
I'm a sociable guy with experience living in share houses. I'm up for a laugh and a beer after work and I'm always keen to try new things. When it come to shared responsibilities I always pull my weight and I'm pretty relaxed about most things.
Hello there, I am moving to Melbourne (from NZ.. a Kiwi) end of Jan 2017 and would love a clean and tidy apartment to share. I am very house proud... but not uptight. Must have my own bathroom and built in wardrobes. I intend to embrace all that your wonderful city has to offer... Restaurants, dining in docklands, southbank etc., and catch-ups with my daughters whom both live and work in Melbourne. I have selected $500pw and a start date of end of Jan.... this is flexible for the right place. I am very fit and active and would very much like to 'settle in' to a living arrangement that is easy. Areas I'd like to live in would be inner-city suburbs close to both train and tram. I'm keen on Docklands. If you had a pet.... thats no problem ... a bonus actually! I would very much enjoy amenities like pool and outdoor space. I have no police convictions and am a professional in the logistics industry. I look forward to hearing from you if you'd like me to share your home with you, occupy and rent your home while you travel .. look after your pet even! or if you have a single apartment available. I have given my mobile ... currently based in NZ.... so I am happy to receive a txt... and I would happily ring you back to discuss. Many thanks for reading this Regards Katie Jones
I grew up in the Netherlands but have been living in Canada for the last 3 years, I'm currently backpacking through Australia but would like to stay in Melbourne for a few months and find a job. I love hiking, exploring, foods (I'm vegan), cultures, history, animals, music, languages. It's been nice staying in hostels but would love to find an apartment and stay in the same place for a longer period of time.
