I'm moving to Melbourne in early to mid January for work. I'm leaving the safety of my Brisbane life so I'm looking for roommates to adopt me into their circle or to start up a place with someone in the same position. My friends describe me as the grandma of the group. I get way too invested in conspiracy theories and crime shows. I'm a tea and coffee fanatic and seeing a dog walk by is literally the highlight of my day. I went clubbing once and was only there for 20 minutes which is why I'm always the on call designated driver. Ideally I would like to have roommates that makes the place feel like home, are easy going and considerate as I am the same.
My name's Robert, I'm 24, I work full time as a chemical engineer in the CBD. I've moved over from Adelaide and I'm currently living in Carlton in a short term place and would love to find a long term place in the area. I'm tidy and very easy going and respectful but happy to be sociable. Interests include: cycling around exploring Melbourne, music, science, netflix, Imax movies and going for walks to local places.
Hi there :) I'm Elena, 24, and a registered nurse. I will be starting a new job at the Royal Children's in January so would like to be living closer to work. I'm looking for an unfurnished room for minimum 6 months. A little bit about me ... I'm friendly, easy-going and sociable. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. When I'm not studying or working I'm catching up with friends for dinner/drinks and getting out and about, but I also like a bit of downtime at home getting stuck into a good book or the occasional Netflix session. I'd love to find a housemate/housemates with similar values and interests. Please get in touch if you think I would be a good fit for your place.
+ I work full time as a travel agent (need less to say I love travel and adventure) + I'm all about tidiness and good feng shui. I keep myself occupied and busy, I won't ever be in your hair (unless you want me to be in that case I love to be social too) + I've lived with my 2 sisters my whole life so although I do love the company of living with others, I know all about respecting personal bubbles and boundaries too :) + I own a car and a motorcycle so a garage or backyard is preferred to park that bad boy in.
Hi I'm Sanj. I'm a 26 year old gal working for a big bank (sorry, don't hold it against me!). I enjoy binge watching netflix, tracksuit pants, talking hypotheticals, coffee, gin, wine and chilling with good friends. Originally from Sydney, I moved to Melbs early 2016. Like to get out and about most weekends but also enjoy some housemate chats/hangs. I'm clean, easy going and reliable. Keen for a flat mate who's like minded, positive and doesnt sweat the small stuff.
Hi Guys. We are a small family of 3 with a well behaved daughter of 4 years old, we have recently who have recently moved to Australia having spent 7 months in Sydney and we are now in Melbourne! I have signed a contract for a job in Notting Hill and am undergoing the visa process at the moment so I am legally able to work. As I am not allowed to work until I get my visa, we are loathed to rush into a full blown rental property straight away and I am looking at various "options" to keep us accommodated until we are in a position to enter into a more permanent arrangement. A Granny Flat arrangement would be our best solution, however we would certainly look into other options. I am Ex British Military and am used to keeping places spic and span, my wife is from the Philippines and keeps a well organised house and our daughter Jessie May is a well behaved young lady full of fun! We are used to sharing a double bed at the moment until we get ourselves sorted out! I am happy to answer any questions that you might have and have a number of references should you need to contact them, I can also provide you with our police clearances for your information. Best REgards Mike, Joyette and Jessie May.
I’ve just come back from traveling in Europe and need to be adopted into a share house for my forever home 🙂 I’m looking for a room north side, I want to be somewhere around north Fitzroy, east Brunswick, west northcote kind of area. Price and moving dates are flexible for the right place/people I love the eating so I get really into cooking, keen for any kind of food share or dinner party pot luck arrangements sometimes or all the times. I’m a fan of board games drinking nights, relaxed mood lighting chill music evening fun times. I have a disability (CFS) so I spend most of my time at home, mostly resting quietly in my room, happy to keep to myself but always keen to listen to my housemates chat/gossip/brag/complain after their long work day when using shared spaces but also perfectly at home keeping to myself/out of peoples faces. I’m wanting somewhere with mature people as far as sex positive, queer friendly, kink friendly and tolerant in all the right places just as I am. I’m fairly clean and tidy in shared spaces, as I’m normally home I always have time to clean up before it’s in anyone else way. I’ve got a steady income and a bond and all the good stuff covered, besides my consistent pension my family would guarantee my bills got paid on time should I say, blow all my money on buying a boat. Also a family seized washing machine and a devilishly comfortable couch, a bunch of decent kitchenware can come with me. If I sound alright, you’re looking for a new housemate, know someone who is or really have anything for me feel free to comment/tag/PM me. Thanks :)
Hi there, I am currently looking for a room in a houseshare in the inner north / north-west area. At the moment I live in Kensington in my own apartment. But! I do have about 8 years of prior houseshare XP. I like to cook, I come with an (optional) cat who currently has a home, I also come with an unlimited iiNet ADSL plan (again optional). I also like to binge watch TV and order the occasional UberEats. I work full-time in the city (at RMIT) and I'm 33. As a housemate, I like to keep spaces clean and generally tidy. I am friendly and laid-back and I do like "down time" particularly during the week. I'm organised and non-flakey and I can hold a good conversation. Some of my interests: reading, movies, podcasts, Internet culture, TV and philosophy. Kind regards, Jack
Hi Hi All, Looking for whole apartment. Balcony a bonus. Carpark is essential OR a valid permit for on street parking. Extremely clean, salon owner, I've no kids and I'm a non smokers. 4-6 weeks (possibly more) over summer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Juanita
Hi everyone! My name is Alberto, I´m a 26, from Spain. I´m an Online Spanish teacher, traveller,. I consider myself as a curious, adventure and non-conformist person. I´m clean, tidy and easy-going person who live wit. I try to follow good principles and values in life. Honesty, altruism and empathy are some of them. Feminist or at least on the way, coping with the profound sexist education which I received). Among my main interests and likes I could highlight personal development, teaching, meeting new people, discovering new things, psychology, meditation, food( cooking for people as well), I´m looking for a private room in a house with open-minded people who love sharing time with others and have good conversations, drink coffee/tea/wine ( that is the typical thing) Just kidding. just authentic people who want to be themselves without any barriers. Looking forward to meeting you. Alberto
I’m a go with the flow kind of guy. I can cook, I clean and I do my part to help out. I understand that living with someone is more about how the people get along than the actual living space itself. That said, I’m not a part animal. I’m just looking for a nice, calm place to live and room mates that are after the same thing.

I work full time as a Restaurant Supervisor in Brunswick while slowly building a clothing brand on the side. My interests are fitness, food (&wine) & fashion. I'm easy going, independent & motivated kind of guy who enjoys socialising while keeping a balance of chill time. I'm clean, tidy & considerate housemate who keeps a positive and friendly vibe.
I'm a kiwi but have been living in Melbourne for nearly 7 years. Melbourne is amazing and has so much to offer! I'm reliable, clean, tidy and have been sharing for many years. I work full-time as a researcher and in my spare time enjoy catching up with friends, exploring Melbourne and travelling. I am keen to find a place that I can call home and not just somewhere to rest my head. So if you like the occasional chat or drink then I am the flatmate for you!
Start from 01/02/2018 prefer a private room and roommates from different countries. I’ll study in UNIMEL (parkville campus) for master degree for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is within walking distance of the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person. Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, staying alone, watching movies or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), but also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally sociable person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Please feel free to message.
Hi, my name is Daniela, I'm a chilean lawyer, 30 years old and I'm working in hospitality. I'm looking for some private room and private bathroom and flatmates to share. I'm easygoing, respectful and clean. I'm a non smoker, non drinker, dog friendly (I'm sorry, I'm allergic to cats), Griffindor of course, movie geek, tea lover, that enjoys reading, music, sharing a meal and go touring the city. PS: I have another friend that is also looking a private room. She is a student in Melbourne University, so if you have 2 rooms in the same house, so we can live in the same place, I will be great.
I am a 23 year Medical Student based at the Royal Woman's and Children's hospitals so would love to be as close to these as possible. I am really looking for my own bedroom, big enough for a queen bed and maybe a desk, and ideally with an ensuite so I don't bother anyone when I am getting up extremely early. I am a very busy person and often at the hospital 7:30am to 6pm, coming home to study. In saying that, I do love some down time in the evenings spent watching netflix, cooking up yummy (vegetarian) dinners and playing playstation. I am a very bubbly person and always up for a chat. I like to have fellow medical students over for study sessions but I am not a big partier and like just casual dinner and drinks with friends. I am a big animal lover so pets do not bother me at all. I often go home on weekends so a lot of the time you'd have the place to yourself on fridays and saturdays.
I am an easy going Australian, and understand the need for privacy and respect in sharehouses. I enjoy the occasional meal and socialising with housemates but am not an avid partier. I have previously lived in London anf have backpacked through Europe.
