Hi there, I am a lawyer moving to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up to find a new place in or around the CBD. For my part I can commit to going onto a lease for at least a year. The start date is flexible in either direction. I am super easy to live with (fairly sure I have no annoying habits!) and have always got on well with flatmates. In my spare time I enjoy chatting about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts (or playing in them as a cellist), and cooking and baking. As for the boring but important stuff, I will have no difficulty with rental/bill payments and I always take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy.
Hi everyone im Jess. Im a 28 year old Brit hailing from Manchester. I am about to start my 2nd year working holiday visa after spending my first year in Sydney. I work in the Hr industry and moving to Melbourne mid Jan. I am really laid back with a dry sense of humour. I enjoy/need my own space and privacy and am really considerate when sharing a living space. Mostly my partying days are behind me (with the odd exception) but enjoy a eating dinner out/having bbqs/a few beers on an evening or weekend and am not a complete hermit. I like wandering around the city exploring, lazing in the sun (when its out!), movie nights and attempting to keep fit. Love animals so happy with places that have pets. I would prefer a lease 3 months minimum at the moment but would hopefully extend. Also would need a furnished room and definitely dont want to share a room. Looking forward to seeing what Melbourne has to offer :)
Hey there, I am quite new to Australia and thus far loving it. I am a very respectable person, love to socialize and quite clean. I am easy going and like to spend time outdoors. Just a gal that likes having a good time but also likes to come home and chillax!
Hello, I am Petr from Czech Republic, 24 years old. I am looking for a share flat or house for few months. I study English here and also I am going to find some part time job. It means, mostly time I spend out of the flat. I like meeting new people and sports. I would like to share the flat with people who are responsible, tidy, fine, friendly and speak English, it is also good way how to improve English.
Originally from Brisbane and I recently packed everything I owned and drove to Melbourne. My interests are fashion, music and content creation. I am very easy going, interested in all types of people and low maintenance. Even though I am currently in between jobs, I am very hard working as well. Also happy to pay rent in advance.
Looking for an apartment or a house with two bedrooms offerred to my friends and I separately. We are both students from the University of Sydney, friendly and hardworking, always stick to our daily schedule, i.e. always go to bed before 12am. Looking forward to living with you.
Hi! I'm originally from Perth but am currently doing my PhD at NTNU in Norway and am in Melbourne for a 3 or 4 month research visit. I'm looking for a place around Fitzroy (or any adjacent suburbs) to stay as my Melbourne friends told me that's where all the cool people live. Other than getting reasonably drunk every now and then, I enjoy pool/beach swimming and playing water polo as well as other social sports. I'm pretty neat and tidy and also like to think that I'm very easy going and easy to live with. I'm also studying applied math so I'm a bit of a nerd and will be working most of the time in the day (possibly from home too). I'm also a huge fan of smashed avo brunches, cafes, exploring Melbourne, weekend trips etc. I also need to live near the 86 tram line or the 250 bus line! I'm also learning Norwegian Hit me up if you think I'd be a good match :)
Hi there, I'm a student from Barcelona (Spain) who will be doing an exchange for 6 months (February - July), here in Melbourne and I am searching for a place to stay. I would prefer to share a place with people who is laidback but active, happy and clean. If you think I can fit in your place, let me know!!
Hey I'm a professional working full-time in the CBD. I'm a relaxed, easy going guy who enjoys exploring good food and coffee. I like cleanliness and will so my part round the place, also I'm not after a party house but do enjoy a beer. I do enjoy relaxing at home with a drink and also get to the gym most mornings. Looking at sharing with only 1 or two others, I spend every second weekend in Brisbane. After somewhere for 3-6months.
Dear Future Roommates! We are two Danish girls living in Aussie for the next two years. We are both very social and easy going. We will be studying our Masters in Melbourne City at La Trobe University and Swinburne University. Emilie studies Global Business Law and Kathrin studies Visual Media and Communication. We thrive when around new people and we are therefore preferably looking for a big shared house with its share of roommates. Our doors are always open and we are always up for a pint and a good banter!
Full-time IT professional working in the Sydney CBD, Sydney-born, Sydney-bred. Clean, tidy, respectful. You eat three times a day so I believe in enjoying your food - eating out, or cooking in, and my bookshelf reflects this. Travelling the world is great, as well as within Australia's own backyard, and everyone needs to do more of it. I tend to adapt to other people's patterns, am generally conservative and not naturally loud or a party animal but I'm not immune to having fun. Hosted dinner? Sure. Drinks? I'm in. Drive down to Jervis Bay? Let's do it. Netflix binge? I'm a bit busy digging through what's on offer from Amazon Prime. Join me and we'll find an good spot in or around the Sydney CBD. I need a car spot - it's useful for exploring.
I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin and I'll be graduating in May next year, then headed overaeas for summer school so I'm only looking for short term accommodation. I also work part-time at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out occasionally (by no means a party animal, though). I'm respectful and tidy and I can get along with anyone. Not keen to live with kids or dogs (sorry!) and I'd like to live close to a train station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line OR the 70/75 tram. If there's anything more you'd like to know just send me a message!
Hi we're an Irish couple living in Sydney and both working full time. We like cooking, having a few drinks on the weekend and exploring sydney when we can. We are easy-going and respectful of those we live with. We are also clean and tidy and always clean up after ourselves - living in a clean environment is important for us. We are definitely up for sharing the odd beer or meal together during the week and we would like to live with someone we can have a laugh and get along with. We also respect each others privacy if you just want to have your own time. Looking for like minded housemates. Send us a message if you think we could be a good match Thanks! Chloe and Adam
I am a fun, easygoing person who likes to work hard in the week and relax on weekends. I am from the UK and work in the city in a full time professional role. I have lived in Barangaroo, Sydney for the past 11 months and am looking to relocate from Feb 2, 2018. I am very clean and respectful of people's privacy, however I'm also open to socialising and enjoying a meal/drinks with my housemates.
I'm Andy, 31 and looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne. I absolutely love Melbourne and have decided that I need a change in my life in a new city. I currently work full time in communications for the Qld Ambulance Service. I've also been accepted into uni to study nursing. In my spare time I love catching up with mates, heading out to dinner and drinks, movies, travel and just having a great time in general. There are other times where a quiet night in is great too. I'm looking at what is available before moving down and I'm also currently searching for job opportunities.
Hey! I'm a full time working professional looking for a new home, who is very easy going and friendly. My preference is to live with other like-minded females who are in their 20s. I'm looking for people I can be comfortable living with and who will feel more like a friend and be up for the occasional chat. I also respect privacy and other people's belongings and understand the need for personal space, as I need it myself too! I don't mind a relaxed home, as long as it is generally kept pretty clean and tidy. I'm looking for a large bedroom that can fit a desk, as this is where I will set up my computer for work. I'm a graphic designer and work for a branding agency but occasionally have the flexibility to work from home. It would really be a bonus to live in a place with other creative people! Looking to move somewhere asap if I sound like someone that would fit in, please send me a message and we can discuss more from there. I'm pretty flexible about location but the closer to the city I am the more ideal the place will be for me! Excited to meet my potential new flatmates :)
My name is Sharna! I am on the hunt for a 1 bedroom place within the surrounding suburbs of Coburg/Brunswick/Carlton/Fitzroy/ and anywhere in-between. I am a 27 year old health care worker with a steady role/income as a senior Dental nurse in a private clinic in Brunswick West. I have a car (but happy to apply for street parking). I have all my own furniture and basically ready to move. My budget is roughly $250pw but happy to pay up to $300 for the right place. If anyone knows of anything around please let me know! Thank you
