Hi there! I'm Steph, 26, from the Illawarra in NSW, i am relocating to Melbourne in July. I am currently working full time as a skin and laser therapist and am lucky enough to be able to get a transfer with work so ill be able to jump straight into full time work when i move down here. I am also studying part time in the field i am working in doing a Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Therapies through Vic Uni and loving it! I am a very organised and clean person I love food and going out looking for great places to eat and having a few drinks with friends not a huge clubbing person but if I'm in the mood I'm in the mood :) I love little bars, also love cooking at home and having quiet nights in. I love to read, binge watching Netflix and I am slowly falling in love with the gym. I have fallen in love with Melbourne since travelling here for uni a few times a year but haven't had a chance to see a lot of it so would love someone to show me fun places to see and go and as i don't know a lot of people around here I would love to make some new friends. I also know how to keep to myself and give people the space they need. I am looking for at least 12-18 months accommodation in the city or surrounding suburbs. Please contact me if you think ill make a great addition to your place! Am available over Skype, Facetime, email and text if you want to chat more and will be down for 4 days early May so am happy to meet up if we get along.
I'm Denise from the Netherlands. I am working full time as a mental health support worker. Ive been in sydney for the last 2,5 years and recently got my sponsorhip, so I am planning to stay at least 3 more years. In my spare time, i love to go outdoors, camping, yoga, indoor climbing. I have a car, so i need to live somewhere where i can park either on the street or find a car space to rent. Looking forward to finding a new place with lovely housemates.
I'm 24 and have been living on the west coast of Canada the past 2 years in a ski resort town. I love everything outdoors, camping, hiking, snowboarding, and anything else active I can involve myself with. I've been working as a supervisor at a coffee shop and am looking to set myself up with a similar job in Melbourne and am excited to immerse myself in a place with a reputable coffee culture. I'm one to socialize with a small circle of friends but usually shy away from crazy nights out. I have excellent references from previous landlords, never late or short of money for bills and am very easy going and tend not to fuss over other peoples living habits too much, despite being a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my own habits.
We are two girls moving from Canada to explore Australia and all of the beauty it has to offer. We love the outdoors, cooking, social gatherings, and are very easy to get along with. not huge on partying and are respectful of household down time. We will be staying for a minimum of 6 months - hopefully a full year! Open to living in all parts of Australia - wouldn't Be an adventure if we were picky about location, right?
Hello, FlatMatties! I am an international student living in Melbourne from last month. I am doing my bachelors from La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and working part time at collins street. I am looking for a place cheap to live. and I am pretty much comfortable with room share or flatshare option. I am mostly out for work or studies and just come back in the night. I am a pretty much welcoming guy and don't have any racial/ religious/ nationality/ gender preferences. I like to party once a while or go out on weekend to beaches or maybe exploring the city but don't worry if the house vibe is not party like I will respect other people's comfort. As I am new in the city I would love to meet people who like to have a conversation with a drink once in a while but at the same time can give me some alone time. I am looking somewhere in the CBD area or any surrounding suburbs from where the commute time to city is 10-20 minutes. I am more than willing to rent out a place of our own and start a share house with like minded people. I am actually looking for long term place but my lease at current place will expire on 15th May and by 15th June I will be going to Canberra for 4-6 weeks. So it will be nice if something can be figured out regarding my vacations in that period otherwise I will be notifying you 2 weeks before moving out.
Prepared to spend more for the right space. 35 years young, single, simple respectful gentleman. Easy going and able to get along with people of all ages. I'd love to team up with someone clean and hygienic to rent a place as I am relocating for work. I exercise regularly (trying to get rid of this spare tyre) at the gym, I'm a professional in the property industry and find Krispy Kreme doughnuts ironically liberating. I'd prefer to live with a female mainly for hormone balance. I do try to eat well and am an amazing cook. I respect privacy, can take a joke, occasionally smoke (never inside) and maintain a clean criminal record for security vetting reasons. I have a kind heart and believe in being fair to my fellow humans. Don't do drugs or party hard so prefer that sort of behavior be kept away from our home, am totally up for socialising though. Would be awesome to make a new friend and hang out during mutual down time. I'm reliable and respect privacy so looking for the same. A secure parking space would be ideal. Oh, and I cannot stand when something smells in the fridge, if it's rotting, lets chuck it out shall we?! Best of luck to you all. Cheers :)
