I'm Pete. Ive just finished master degree at unsw. Currently, I'm working part time near city. So,I plan to find accommodation to live nearby. I'm also fine with the place that close to train station or light rail. I've lived in shared apartment for years.I'm starting to find a new place because the contract of my current place will be ended soon. I'm looking for private room in 2 or 3 bedroom shared accommodation.
My name is Jade and I grew up at an international school in Singapore, with South African, American, Australia and Chinese cultural backgrounds. I am starting my Masters of Teaching (Primary) at Melbourne University next year and will get a job in childcare while I study. I'm moving from Sydney in Janurary where I just finished my undergraduate at Sydney University. I enjoy playing basketball/running, listening to music, reading, playing boardgames, having a drink with friends. Would consider myself a clean, tidy, organised and considerate flatmate. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
I currently work full time for an insurance company in Brisbane and am looking to move away from QLD and explore the world while I'm still young! I have secured my full time position in the Melbourne office therefore will spend most of the week at work. I am very great to live with as I'm respectful in regards to my other room mates and going out. I love to socialise and am always down for drink however keep it on the quiet side. I love to catch up with friends on the weekends and as I don't have friends in Melbourne yet, I will be out most of the time exploring the city :)
Hi there! I am a 23 year old looking at moving close to the beach to better fit my active lifestyle! I work full-time in Project Management and love surfing in my spare time. I am respectful and clean and love a social drink on the weekend. Preferably looking for house with flatmates of a similar age with similar outgoing personalities!
We are moving to Sydney as we have both been offered new jobs. I will be working as a food product development manager and Adam will be working as a professional photographer. Adam is very funny and I'm not funny at all but I love a good laugh. I used to be a chef so nothing makes me happier than a clean kitchen and Adam likes to garden and fix things. We’d prefer to live in a house with a little garden so Adam can put his green fingers to work. We both love dogs and are very easily won over by pet owners. Non smokers and very responsible drinkers.
Hello all good people out there...I'll be traveling to Melbourne from India to kick start a new life by the first week of feb'19 and looking out for a comfortable accommodation. I'm a software engineer by profession and will be spending my initial time to look out for jobs. As a person, I'm easy going and love to make new friends. Looking for a clean shared apartment preferably with a clean private room anywhere in Melbourne in close proximity to public commute..
Hey! I‘m a 18 year old backpacker from Germany, currently working and living in Sydney. I am all about positive energy and making the best out of each day. To put it in a nutshell: I really want to be part of an awesome Flatmate-Group, having an amazing time together. Cheers!
I'm a 30-year-old former journalist from America. University educated. Loves to cook. Clean, but easy-going. I like to stay active and healthy, but enjoy pizza and a beer too. I'm not a partier, but I enjoy a chill BBQ with a few friends every now and again. Ideally I'd like to find a place with a couple of easy-going, social housemates who are around the same age and have similar interests and lifestyles.
Hi! My friend and I are looking for flatmates starting in February. We are easygoing, considerate, fun-loving post-grads from Boston, and we can't wait to soak in the arts scene of Melbourne. We will both be on Working Holiday Visas; Eliza has has a remote job with an educational travel nonprofit, and I will probably work as a barista or something of the like. We both love hiking, playing soccer, and enjoying a nice cup of tea. We are friendly and sociable but also are respectful of personal space and down time. We're searching for some kind souls to share accommodations (and hopefully many memories) with. Can't wait to meet our future flatmates!
I am coming back from six months backpacking and studying in Europe and two weeks volunteering in Thailand. Before I left Australia, I rented with flatmates for two and a half years and we all had an enjoyable time! I am sociable, easy-going and a good cook so the kitchen will always smell nice! When I get back to Australia, I will be returning to my casual job at Macquarie University where I work 20+ hours a week and I will finish my last semester at the University of Sydney, after which I plan to do my masters in Secondary Education.
I'm a gregarious, respectful, humble and quirky writer committed to my new career (it's been a bit under a year since I made the change). Whilst extroverted, I'm by no means high maintenance or loud. Conversation comes easy to me and I'm interested in other people and the world around me. Overall - I'm a positive, happy, and well-balanced person. My professional life is really interesting and fulfilling and I work in an office (not from home). On weekends, I enjoy discovering new places, writing in cafes, sipping in bars, and listening to bands.
Hi! my name is Alvaro. I'll be moving to Sydney in Dicember as I will be taking an English course for 3 months. A little about me, I am from Madrid Spain. I am very active, I love sports, hanging out with friends and very outgoing. I am really concerned about organization and always do my best to be the most pleasant flatmate I can be. I´m very excited to meet new people and share new experiences in the short time I will have there in Australia :) Looking for a place close to the city, sharing with other friendly, sociable people. :) I am curious to hear about you :)
I'm an American trying to find my way back into the inner-inner west (please don’t message for places that are not inner-inner west). I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the second week of December. At a glance: - $280/week budget (all bills in this) - Inner inner west/inner city, no more than 30 mins to Central by public transit, with walking time - preferably furnished - preferably no more than 3-4 people in the household - absolutely must be pest-free and clean (old is fine!!) - move in during early-mid December I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse--I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier suburb. My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. I am NOT interested in bleak, gray, apartment-centric suburbs. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
CLEAN, TIDY, RESPECTFUL, CONSIDERATE, TRUSTWORTHY and FRIENDLY. I'm someone who has an OPEN MIND, a FRIENDLY PERSONALITY but likes their own space. I am easy to mingle with , understanding , caring , reasonable to live, kind of a person. I don't go around poking my nose into other people's business , but if anyone needs my help, I'll be there first one to help. I just completed my bachelor of engineering in India and I'm planning to do my masters in UniMelb, Feb 2019 intake. During my free time, I usually hang out with a couple of friends and have some beer and chill, I love watching and playing football. I love socializing and exploring new places.
Hi! My name is Jooyee (or Casia if that's easier). I'm a communication design student graduating around mid December and currently looking for a job. My home country is Singapore and I'm generally friendly, easygoing and tidy but I also enjoy time alone. I've stayed on my own for the past 2.5 years now hence I'm looking to stay with 1 or 2 female house mates for a new experience. Hopefully forge new, pleasant friendships with my new house mates too! I love to do brunch, go to the movies and anything artsy. All 'bout that chill (no party) lifestyle :)
