My name is Michael, I'm 28 and work as a lawyer in the city. I've lived in a number of share houses in Brisbane, London and Melbourne over the past 8 years (I'm originally from Queensland). I'm a tidy, considerate and sociable housemate, and I always pay the rent/bills on time. I like to make the most of my weekends and get out to live music, comedy, sport, markets, cafes, go on road trips or visit the beach, or just spend down time at home watching a movie. I get on well with all walks of life and I always look forward to meeting new people!
Hello all potential new friends! I am a bubbly and positive human being, currently living on the Sunshine Coast (have a lease here until Feb 9th), looking to make a move to Melbourne as I'm missing the culture and liveliness of the city. I'm transferring from Sunshine Coast to Deakin to study full time starting March. I study sport and exercise science with a passion, and hope to find work in the industry once settled in Melbourne. I love spending my free time in the kitchen, or being active whether it be in the gym, doing yoga, dancing, walks, or general adventuring. Occasionally the couch gets the best of me and I may spend the day binge watching a series on Netflix. I like having a clean and serene space to call home. I do enjoy my "alone time", especially after busy days, but I would love to find a place to share stories and grow into friends with my housemate(s). My partner lives in Sydney, so I would be going away for a weekend every now and then, but I hope to find a place where he would also be welcome to stay over on occasion. I'd prefer to find a room that is already furnished, or at least partially, as my possessions are quite limited. My budget going up to $250 would hopefully include the bills and internet, or at least most of them, though this is negotiable depending on other details - so please don't hesitate to ask! My preferred length of stay of 3 months can extend to be significantly longer if the place is right, but I would like to see how I settle in in the area and if it is convenient for my weekly schedule. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you believe we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you. Warmest regards, Anniina
We are a group of Backpackers who are working full-time here in Melbourne to make enough money so we can travel again. That means that we save money where we can and the most expensive thing to do here in Australia is drinking and partying so that is why we stopped doing so. We are respectful people that loves a clean and tidy place to calm down after a hectic day of working.
hellooo!! I'm URGENTLY looking for a private furnished room (at least the bed, c'mon xD xD), possibly not more than 15/20 mins (tram distance) from the inner city. I'm looking to spend maximum 700$ per month. And yes, i can afford to pay rent always on due date. Don't worry! quickly about me life! I work in formal menswear in Collins st. and also (at the moment) live in the CBD but I'm starting to notice that I ain't saving much like this and also the place i'm living in ain't that nice and I gotta be a parent to my housemates who tend to do nothing at all in terms of keeping the place neat. So here is my urge to move out ASAP as i would like to avoid having to pay another full month here and prefer to give you the money and start being good housebros asap!! I don't really know what to say about myself but one thing i can tell you: I'm defenitely a clean and respectful guy and treat the house as if it was my own and my housemates as my best buddies. I don't like to party too much in the house and honestly I never do. :):) When I'm home most of the times you'll find me chillin, cooking, watching some Netflix (yes i can share it) or just reading something about how to become rich overnight!! hauahaha I'm not a party animal, unfortunately those times have gone and now i just go out with a couple of friends few times during the week for a chat and a drink. I used to be a smoker but I'm not anymore so if anyone smokes it won't bother me, but I don't smoke anymore. (100% honesty?? ok i sometimes allow myself one or two on friday/saturday night if i'm drinking something,but... anyway). if you wanna chat a bit with me please don't hesitate, i'm friendly!
Easy going and social but respectful of other people's space and privacy. I've been living in share homes since 20, hence I know to pay bills on time and always like to keep clean and tidy. I have my own furniture and belongings and am looking for an unfurnished room. Current lease in Carlton North is coming to an end sadly after more than a year! I'm looking to find a new home around the inner north. Feel free to ask if you want to know anymore.
Hey there, my name is Giles. I'm a 34 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for almost 10 years. I am a carpenter and I love my work. I work Monday to Friday and the occassional Saturday. During the week I'm up and out of the house pretty early to get to work by 7am. I own a Toyota Hilux and would really like to park it off the street at night as it has been broken into recently I'm pretty happy and cruisy. I love most outdoor activities like hiking and camping and going to the beach. I also love sport - both watching and playing. I think of myself as a fairly social person and do enjoy great company, although I'm far from a party animal (getting too old for that!). I am quite partial to having a few beers or wines with dinner or over the weekend. Cheers
Hi there! I'm an adventurous American guy from California, who works in a cafe full time and is planning on being in the city until August, maybe longer. I'm looking to live in a laid back place with a social roomie or two. I'm a travel writer and photographer and enjoy going for hikes/photo adventures on days off and a pint or two! Why not. I love a good chat, but enjoy my personal space as well. Hoping to find a place by the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb! Cheers :)

Have been living over this side of the world for a couple of years now and would love to settle down in or around the Melbourne area. I enjoy socialising, chilling out after work with a few beers, playing pool, cards, paragliding, mountain biking, going to festivals and events! I'm always up for trying new things and I love meeting new people.
Hi Everyone, I am currently working full time in the CBD area and looking to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the CBD area. About me: I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
Hi I'm Natasha. I am Canadian and this is my first year living in Melbourne. I work in the CBD in finance with normal to long hours, and sometimes weekends. I am generally a pretty responsible, quiet, and neat person. I also like to be social and have fun, but typically prefer to go out than to bring people over (although I don't mind if you do). I would ideally like to live with people around my age (I'm 29) who are easygoing and open to making new friends. Please do not contact me about sharing a room, I am way too old for that!
Hi I am Renee and I am 19 years old. I am hoping to find a new home to share with a group of out going open minded people around Prahan, St Kilda, CBD, Richmond areas. I am a trustworthy, tidy person who enjoys cooking, travelling and going out with friends. I am excited for a change of environment and to find a good home with fun, positive and understanding housemates who are needing a new companion in their home.
I'm in my late twenties and will be relocating to Melbourne for a full time job. I'm clean and tidy. I am easy going and can get along with people well. I consider myself as a social butterfly but not a big party person. I like to keep active - so most of my spare time are filled with catching up with friends, playing sports or cooking. I've lived in multiple share houses in the past and never had a problem. I love to cook and having great food which is part of the reason I am relocating to Melbourne (because of the amazing food)! If you share similar value and looking for a housemate, please get in contact.
I'm a easy going, fun-loving guy. I'm currently work full-time in a corporate professional environment (I.T Professional). I'm originally from Mount Waverley and currently renting in South Melbourne. I like to stay fit and hit the gym most week days and on the weekends I like to chill with friends.
Hey, I'm Nikki and I just moved here from Brisbane to start a full time job. I am looking to share a flat with people who are easygoing and enjoy a laugh. I'm super clean and tidy and don't mind doing my share of all the house chores!
Hey! I'm moving to Melbourne On the 8th of February from New Zealand. I am a Film and Media Graduate who used to live in the US but came home to finish studying. I specialise mainly in Photography. I am a very trustworthy, kind and honest person. Someone you can rely on for a heart to heart or a glass of wine ;) I like to live a pretty chill life style but love to occasionally go out but never bring it home. In between working full time I plan to travel occasionally but still come home. Look forward to talking to all!
Friendly, respectful and tidy I work full time 5:30am-7:30pm 5-7 days p/w so your personal space and privacy will not be an issue.
I'm a Nurse (can help when things get rough) I can cook (mostly SE Asian/Indian.. actually anything spicy). I am active.. I'm into meditation, yoga, biking, hiking. I have my own business/s around OSH which I'm expanding into the Australian market. I also love travel, comedy and high quality whisky ;) I'm currently in NZ working on a few projects with the plan to make the move to Melbourne in April at the latest. (This post might be premature, but I've been meeting some awesome humans anyways so what the hell).
Hi everyone! My name is Libby, I'm 31, into nature, reading, drawing, chai tea + ambient cafes (all at once if possible), craft-a-noons and pottering around outside. I have a daily practice of yoga and meditation and am passionate about healthy eating. I also love the creative outlet of playing my uke but, warning, am a total beginner. Extra play time is spent hanging out with friends, on the phone to friends, or watching movies / docos. I can be a bit of a hermit at times, enjoying my own private time, but I've been told that I bring a calm and positive vibe into a home and I find solace in that zen, clean and tidy sort of feel, meaning, I'm a tidy person! I'm a quiet house mate - no late night shenanigans for me - but I'm always up for a chat when I cross paths with a roomie and though I generally like to organise my own food, I love sharing the odd meal to catch up and hang out together. On food, I'm not vego, but try to eat consciously and mostly paleo (I do cook meat). I don't have a dog at this stage, but I can't wait to get a rescue dog! Hopefully this will happen in the next few months, so looking for a dog-friendly place. In terms of a home, I'm seeking a quiet, zen, and peaceful household. One that's clean, tidy and cosy - fairy lights and pot plants a bonus. Must have an outside space, otherwise I tend to wither. Sharing with just one other 28 yr old + female is my ideal. Have an excellent day, and please get in touch if you think we could be a match! Libby.
Hey there! My name is Dan and I'm a 23 year old American from Boston. My girlfriend, who is 19 and Dutch, and I are looking for a room to rent starting as soon as possible. We have just arrived in Melbourne from Byron Bay and are currently looking for work in sales or hospitality. We both are very outgoing and easy to get along with. We like to go out and have a good time once in a while but also love to just chill and a hang out. Some of our interests include: travel, sports (soccer/football/basketball), music, and socializing.
Hi! We are Pavi and Manon (English and French) and we are both 20yo. We are exchange students at Monash University. We have been in Melbourne since last July and we lived in halls on campus (Clayton) during our first semester here. However we would like to live closer to the city so we are looking for a place to stay near Melbourne CBD for the next coming months. We enjoy eating (a lot!) so we are always looking for new places to go and eat. We also like to cook ourselves so it would be nice to have flatmates who do too! We are also always up for a drink (or two) with our friends. We are gym buddies so we are going on a regular basis to the gym. Sometimes we also enjoy staying home with a good movies/series to watch. And finally we love travelling and exploring new places around Melbourne! We are easy-going, tidy and clean. We are looking forward to meeting you! Pavi and Manon
I'm a very chill, laid-back guy, came to do my Masters at Monash, loves to hang out when I'm free, always up for a drink in the living room and respectful of others independence. I play guitar, cook good food, and enjoy a run ! Looking for a short term accommodation (3-4 months) near the city !
I am a 25 year old, non-smoking, easy going guy who loves to create animations, illustrations and paint, cook and chat to like minded people. I work fulltime at RMIT University teaching Digital Media, but I love to relax, watch movies or work on creative projects in my downtime.
Hello I'm Stefani, a creative mind filled with wonder and excitement, I look for adventure and enjoy meeting new people. Well ladies and gents I am light hearted and relaxed in nature, there will always be laughter and friendship. I do love to cook as food excites me. I am a respectful and thoughtful person. I love to go out and explore, attended festivals, night markets, try great food, honestly anything. I work in a law firm within the CBD, no not a lawyer hehe, I attend the gym after work hours, am looking to take up some more fitness classes which means I'm generally out and about unless having a night in. I am hoping to come across a person or persons that I can share dinners, drinks and laughter with as I do not want to live in a place where we stick to only our rooms and barely know one another.
I travel a lot so don't keep too many possessions which makes keeping clean easy. Currently finishing some study and will begin full-time work. I'm easy to get along with and like meeting people so usually up for anything. I'm from Australia, I like video games, scuba diving, travelling and a whole range of things.
Hi! My name is Roni I am 23 from California. I will be attending Monash to complete my Masters in Social Work. I am super laid-back and like to have a good balance between my social and personal time. I live a very balanced lifestyle and like to have fun while making sure to take care of my body. I have been living in share houses/apartments since I started uni at age 18 so I know how to be a respectful housemate and I expect the same of my housemates. Above all, I am open-minded and like my home to be a comfortable space for everyone. I do tend to like larger bedrooms so please let me know if you think it would be a good fit! I am pretty flexible with lease length as I will be around for at least 2 years, but ideally would like to start end of January! Cheers

I work full-time in a coffee shop in the CBD, so I'll be gone during the day time, but I do have weekends off. I'm interested in hanging out and spending time with my flatmates, but at the same time I would respect if you would rather keep to yourself. I love picnics, hikes, going to the beach, and in general being outside. I also love discussing everything or nothing over a glass of wine. Cheers!
Hi there, I'm an international Student studying at the University of Melbourne. Overall I'm pretty relaxed and a bit reserved, but I'm open to anything that comes my way. Standard interests include typical ones such as gaming, music, movies, and dank memes.
I'm a traveller from The Netherlands working in Melbourne for the next couple of months. I'm open-minded, sociable and love music: I play guitar, piano, write my own stuff and know heaps about music. Also useful is that I can cook 🍳 (more than just an egg). I'm 18 years old, and you might think that that's quite young, but I'? wise beyond my years ;) and get along well with the 20/30 range.
I'm a professional graphic designer from Taiwan, planing study project management in Melbourne for one year. Looking for a room for stay. I'm tidy, friendly, easygoing. Like sunbathing, Rick and Morty, yoga, Jazz and HipHop music. Super chill person.
Hi! Full time student from Argentina, doing a master of engineering at unimelb. You won't have to worry about keeping the place clean and tidy. I suck at playing musical instruments, so I wont make loud noises either. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Canadian moving to Melbourne for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Looking for a space to call home. Flatmates who are either graduate students or young professionals ideally. My program is demanding so weeknights will be quiet with visits to the gym, but weekends I'll need stress relief via exploring the city and alcohol. I lived in a shared house during undergrad and know for a comfortable living environment everyone needs to lend a hand. I like clean spaces, but am not an OCD clean freak! I'm tidy, conscientious, and easy going. Hoping to find a living space thats a home; not just a house :-)
Hello, I will be moving to Melbourne from New Jersey USA to spend a semester abroad at Victoria University. I am hopeful that a flat will be the better option for me instead of Uni Accomodations and would like to find others that think likewise. I am 23, female and originally from Brazil. I speak portuguese spanish english fluently and study communications (PR). I wouldn't mind having male, female or any other identifiable gender or sexual orientation as roomates. My biggest concern about living in a flat instead of uni living is that I wont make friends and enjoy myself so I would love to find people that are fun spirited, like to travel, exercise, and party. I am currently seeking a three or more bedroom flat (house/apt/townhouse) close to Victoria University in Footscray or the Carlton/Fitzroy area. Will be moving in with friends from the uni which i have been meeting through group pages set by the uni.
I'm Jasper, 27, from Halifax, Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada. I'm an architecture student here in Melbourne on a master's degree work term until August, 2017. I love music (studied music before architecture), I'm social, I like cooking, I like biking, and I'm a friendly person who doesn't take himself too seriously. I'd love to go see some good live music in Melbourne while I'm here and maybe learn how to surf. Cheers!
