student at RMIT starting first year this year will be working part time moving from sydney to melbourne have lived with others before, very easy going, love having a bit of fun with friends, tidy, like to cook looking to move into a nice house wth easy going people
I'm 22, recently graduated, from the UK, and working as a freelance graphic and web designer right now. I nicely fit the stereotype of chain drinking tea, and love catching up over a cuppa or a glass of wine. In my free time I love getting exercise in with running, gym, or swimming, and I love getting creative with painting or photography. I'm a warm, friendly and open-minded person who's clean, tidy and respectful of others' space. I've been in Melbourne for 6 weeks now, but I love this city and will be here for at least 6 more months, if not a whole year, and would love a place to call home.
I am very easy to get along with, tidy after myself (and sometimes others if they need help), like to keep a clean and calm household, and keep up to date with all my bills. I love nature and travel, and a bit of photography. Also play club sports, and very much a water-boy (not waterboy) cause I love my water sports or just splashing about. I'm also happy to lend a hand if something of yours is broken (I'm quite practical) and share a meal or just chill anytime. I'm also mainly looking at being either directly in the city or somewhere along the Pakenham train line as I work out that way. Cheers.
Easy-going retirees. we seek long termstay in Melbourne after Sydney and our Malaysian interlude. initially a few weeks befoer we move permanently. Peaceful souls, mature minds, gentle, whimsical humour, shared hopes and dreams. non-smoker/non-drinker veggies/vegans without "family and other animals". [from My Family and Other Animals (1956) by Gerald Durrell .]
Seeking a place to live close to Melbourne University. A full time student, making the move from Tasmania. Very relaxed and easy going, looking to share with people of a similar mindset.
41 year old teacher looking for a quiet, calm place to call home for a few months. Work in Toorak, so ideally looking for something nearby, or on or near the Glen Waverley line to get the train in. Enjoy gym, yoga etc and am often out doing these til late eve. Looking for a quiet space, ideally with one or maximum 2 others. More than happy if you have pets.
Apologies, we don't have a nicer photo of the two of us haha. We are an Australian/French couple both 24 years old, have been living together for over a year now and are looking for our new home. We are looking for somewhere close or in the city (South Yarra, Carlton, Brunswick, North Melbs, that sorta distance). We're super chilled, adore animals but don't have any of our own and love making good dinners with a few drinks and laughs to accompany. Travel is our number one favorite thing to do but for now we have chosen to settle in Melbourne for a while until our next adventure. If you have a nice big room available for us that would be awesome, must be clean as we are very clean people and a TV somewhere in the house would be ideal as we love to watch sport, hopefully you do too :) We are also open minded and love all people. Shoot us a message asap as we are looking to move now. Thanks 😎
Hey! I'm Jordan, I'm originally from the UK (moved here when i was 16) and I work in retail in Chadstone. Im about to start nt second year of my Masters of Advertising at RMIT. I have a Performing Arts degree so I occasionally do some work in that area too (dance, acting etc) I'm very friendly an d sociable and love a good chat but also I tend to get extremely busy to do like to respect others privacy.
I am an Italian student, working and studying in the cbd to get my diploma in hospitality. I am a barista, mad for coffee, vegan and a people lover. I do like when the house is packed of people to share emotions with but I do like to enjoy a bit of peaceful time as well. Love sweets and desserts, love help people and more. Ready to move in guys :-)
Hey there! My girlfriend and I have just moved to Melbourne to explore the deep subculture of brunching and fa$hion killas. One Sydneysider here, who has seen the light in Melbourne. One Swedish backpacker with a great personality! Both of us have degrees and are hunting for jobs in our respective fields. We met in Canada whilst living abroad, with the adventure ranging from camping in Yosemite National Park in the States to surfing Sydney's beaches. Choose us and we'll swap adventure stories! P.S. We aren't massive on the party scene anymore, but we do love a drink and chat on weekends!
We are two friendly and social 19-year-old girls from Sweden who are currently living in Sydney. We are easy going and love to make new contacts with people from all over the world. We love to hang out with friends and don't mind a night out or just a chill night at home. We find cooking and baking very funny. We are in Australia on Working Holiday Visas and we plan to go to Melbourne on the 24th of February and would love to stay there for 2 months. After that we plan to do the east coast. Please contact us if you have place for two or know someone who has. Cheers!
Why choose me as your room mate? Well I am not a weirdo - so that's always a good start. I am your typical Aussie female; I am down to earth, was raised in the country but always had the heart of a city girl beating inside me. To sum me up I would say that I am creative, professional and animated. I enjoy socialising, being active, the performing arts, red wine, movies and getting out and about! I am respectful and I am truly easy going. Some people just say they are easy going...but I assure you that if you are respectful like myself then I am tots easy going. I believe in keeping shared spaces and living spaces clean but I am more flexible with bedrooms. If your room is that messy we can just close the door and wolla it's hidden. Who do I want to share a rental with? Well that's easy, I want to live with people who are just good people, have decent morals, want to pay bills on time, are respectful to live with and are easy to get along with.
Hi, we are four girls from the UK looking for somewhere to stay, we aren't certain on the longevity of our stay but most likely 2 - 3 months +. We are all in our early 20s and would preferably separate rooms however 2 rooms may be considered. All clean and tidy, easygoing and fun. We all have savings and will have employment shortly. Would also prefer all bills included but doesn't matter if not! Pm me if you have anything available or would like to share. Thanks 😊
I am a full-time Registered Nurse so I can pay my rent on time. I am a laid back person, easygoing, friendly, and best of all, respectful of other's personal space. I am into fitness and music production as a hobby hence I am a very sociable person. I am big on keeping my environment clean and tidy as I am that of a person myself.
I work as an Architect full time. I like to stay active. Most weeknights I'm either working at my second job, out with friends or ideally at home. I leave to the gym around 0445 am so I am out for most of the day during the week. Weekends I like to catch up with friends/housemates and prep for the week ahead. I can also cook, I consider myself very easy to get along with. Oh, would be great to get a car space if possible. Looking for min 6 month stay...but flexible. Available now! If you have any other questions please ask :)
23 year old, new to Melbourne. Recently graduated from University on the Gold Coast and spent a good chunk of 2016 traveling the USA and working at a Summer Camp. Vegetarian (but happy to cook for my meat eating friends) and massive animal lover aka crazy dog lady. I have family and friends in Melbourne already, but look forward to making some new pals. I will be working full time in the city, Tuesday-Saturday, and will spend a fair bit of time away from the house. During the week I'm a bit of a nanna and will go to the gym most days and love to watch movies or cringe reality TV and cozy up on the couch. I also love a glass of red, a cheese board and a dance. I hate mess, love natural lights and plants :)
I am easy going, responsible with 10 years of experience living with people in Melbourne so I can manage to respect your criteria. I do not smoke and do not party and I am a professional. I have a pet cat. Needing a place for 1 year with my own bathroom and then looking to buy my own place.
hellooo!! I'm URGENTLY looking for a private furnished room (at least the bed, c'mon xD xD), possibly not more than 15/20 mins (tram distance) from the inner city. I'm looking to spend maximum 700$ per month. And yes, i can afford to pay rent always on due date. Don't worry! quickly about me life! I work in formal menswear in Collins st. and also (at the moment) live in the CBD but I'm starting to notice that I ain't saving much like this and also the place i'm living in ain't that nice and I gotta be a parent to my housemates who tend to do nothing at all in terms of keeping the place neat. So here is my urge to move out ASAP as i would like to avoid having to pay another full month here and prefer to give you the money and start being good housebros asap!! I don't really know what to say about myself but one thing i can tell you: I'm defenitely a clean and respectful guy and treat the house as if it was my own and my housemates as my best buddies. I don't like to party too much in the house and honestly I never do. :):) When I'm home most of the times you'll find me chillin, cooking, watching some Netflix (yes i can share it) or just reading something about how to become rich overnight!! hauahaha I'm not a party animal, unfortunately those times have gone and now i just go out with a couple of friends few times during the week for a chat and a drink. if you wanna chat a bit with me please don't hesitate, i'm friendly! Dario
I am a 28 year old male from Canada but have moved here almost 5 years ago. I Feel like I have a good understanding of living with others as I have been living in house shares for the past 4 years. I am a full time barber in prahan at a barbershop called brother wolf and like to volunteer by using my craft. If you're interested in knowing more about myself you in that regard, you can check out "The Streets Barber" online or on Instagram and Facebook (using that name) I also have a small rescue pup who is very well trained, doesn't shed, and has a very good temperament. She is a Jack Russell/kelpie and is toilet trained. She comes to work with me daily as she's become the official mascot of the barbershop and I get in trouble with clients If I don't bring her in as she is dearly loved by everyone.
Hi there, Me and my partner are looking for a short-term accommodation from Feb 7th. For 1-2 weeks. We got apartment in the city where we`ll move into by the end of Feb. So we need a place where to stay just after we land. I am an ICT Product manager in the FinTech Industry, 30 yo, beach volleyball player, originally from Bulgaria, lived in Melbourne for 3 years, a permanent resident. I was back in Europe for a couple of months because of my work. Now we are coming back. Moises is a videographer, professional swimmer and runner. We are both keen on cooking, surfing, and we love nature. About us as flatmates, we are not party animals, just enjoying a dinner with friends, might grab a drink or so during the week, most likely we`ll be outside in weekends. We`ll be busy Mon-Fri furnishing the permanent apartment + job interviews. We got heaps of savings so paying the rent is not a problem. Here is my skype UserName: racheto_p; Linkedin: radoslava tosheva - product development manager - eMerchantpay. Give me a shout if u r interested and Feel free to text if you want to ask us something additional. We can ask a friend of ours who is currently in Melb to come grab a coffee with u as well as pay some money in advance. Let`s talk and organise it. We can Skype any time Mon-Fri after 5pm (AUS time) or 7-9am (AUS time). From my personal experience, I know how much different, easier, faster and more trust you gain when meeting your future tenants/flat/house mates face-to-face. However, we are very serious and responsible mature people and it will be highly appreciated if you can just give us a chance and talk to us and then decide. Let us know what time/date suits you best for a call? Thanks for reading! Regards, Radi & Moi
I'm a single female from Adelaide who will be moving to Melbourne in February to start a new role at work in the marketing team. I'll be working Monday to Friday in an office in South Melbourne, so I'm looking for somewhere inner-city for a short commute. I'm super friendly and easy going, I'll happily enjoy sitting down for a cuppa and a chat but also appreciate my own time and space. I do like to keep a clean and tidy house within reason, and I appreciate housemates who do the same. I like to keep active by going for walks/bike rides and adventures, I love boutique coffee, fresh food, board games and baking :)
Easy going. Mature. Pick up after myself. Quiet and friendly. Likes to be social. Respectful of others and their space. Gym way more often than I go out, but definitely like my nights out occasionally. Ultimately just looking to get into a place closer to work as I work full time for Life fitness in Mulgrave so rent is guaranteed! Cheers The lease time on my account says one year or more, but dependant on your lease agreement I'm happy with short term or long term stay :)
I am currently looking for a place with cheaper rent than my current place (currently paying $250pw), but also a place that is within running distance to the beach would be preferable. I work full-time and am studying my masters part time so probably won't be around very often. But when I am I do enjoy socializing with my housemates, so would prefer to share with people who are outgoing as well. Hobbies of mine include running, cooking, listening to music, travelling and socializing with others (if this is relevant at all) I am reasonably experienced with share housing, having shared with others for the past 7 years. I also have a lot of existing furniture I can provide for a share house (dining table, kitchen cabinets, tv entertainment unit, fridge)
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. Along with me there are two more friends who will be arriving (or moving) on the same day. I am extrovert and open-minded, The same implies to other two.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking unless I'm insisted so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive to my religious aspects (like eating non-halal food, drinking and others) but not extreme. I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. We don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, we would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( we are cat-lovers :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, we are great to live with.
My name is Alicia. I'm 24 and I go to Australia for 1 year. I am a quiet person and I would like flatmates like me. I'm from Spain and I'm going to Australia to improve my English. I like tv series, music and relax. Moreover I like go out with friends and see new cities.
Hello! My name is Miley.I'm a very well-organised person who always likes to keep everything around me tidy and clean. I am an easygoing person and a very diligent student. I don't have any bad habits. I usually do some reading in my spare time. I also enjoy watching TV and going to parties at weekends.
Hi, I'm Jess, I study English and teaching at Flinders Uni (and work there sometimes as a Student Ambassador). I also work as a kitchen-hand. My hobbies include; always paying my rent and bills on time; immediately connecting with new housemates; watching cartoons and films; playing guitar (quiet, non-obtrusive acoustic); video games; writing; reading; skating blah blah blah... My girlfriend is also named Jess (saving YOU, potential housemate so much time remembering our names or even distinguishing us). She's a musician and were moving to Melbourne to pursue her music career. She's into most of my aforementioned hobbies but slightly more of a hippy, beachy sort, and slightly less of the 'brooding writer' thing I've cultivated. We would love to find somewhere 4:20 friendly. I'm a smoker, but more than happy to do it outside. I'm happy to live with any race, sexual orientation, religion, gender etc. Basically, it's all good.
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat- a medium coat white and tabby handsome character by the name of Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims) I'm currently doing a month in Europe and will be back mid February..so I'm hoping to move in to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, philosophy(I'm s beginner but loving it!), animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!) and travel.
I'm a french girl, I obtained an internship at Aesop in Fitzroy from January to August ! it's my first time in Australia and I'm coming alone ! I will work a lot Monday to Friday and maybe at home sometimes on the week ends but I like to go out, to discover new things, to have drinks, to make some sports and to share nice moments with nice peoples each time that I can !! So I'm searching a room in an apartment with nice people in the center of Melbourne ! :)

Hi all, We are two young women from Germany, working within the adidas-group at the headquarters and will be in Melbourne for our company for a longer duration. Starting date will be the February 26 until end of June. We ensure a good monthly income and also a perfect tidiness. Looking forward to hearing from you!! Kind Regards Julia & Florentina
Outgoing, bubbly, friendly and very ready to start a new chapter in my life. I work hard to make a house a home, I tidy where I live every day and properly clean every fortnight. I like to meal prep for the week (vegetarian/vegan) but also love cooking for friends, and I only choose to drink on special occasions, but I don't care what other people choose to do. I love a good party and have an active social life, but I prefer not to bring it home. Don't mind having friends over for dinner and drinks, but home is usually where I spend "me" time and relax. I am seeking somewhere with extremely close public transport (preferably somewhere along the free tramline) and close to the city as that's where I work full time, and as I don't have a car I won't need a parking space. I love spending my down time watching movies, having a good chat with mates, reading, writing or painting or surfing music channels. I'm keen to make a new life, new friends, and a housemate/s would be a great start!! 😊😊
Hey there future housemates. Im very easy going. Nothing bothers me much. I enjoy keeping busy and like to live in clean environments so not to clutter the mind. Im 31 and moved to Melbourne last july and work in a medical laboratory as a maxillo facial technician. I used to work in dental prostheics in perth before I moved to melbourne. I enjoy riding, snowboarding, gym, going to the beach and being out doors in general. I have a few hobbies which I've had to leave behind in perth, like brewing and tinkering with cars. I like beer and tend to be a social butterfly
We are a very friendly, clean and reliable couple from Germany. We visit Australia for one year on a working holiday. We are still looking for a full time job and are often out of the house for work or to enjoy the nice city.
I'm a laid back person studying at Monash University that likes to feel comfortable and relaxed around the people I'm living with. I am willing to chat to anyone about almost anything so I get along with most people quite well. My friend, Kiara and I are looking to set up a share house with someone who won't live as just a stranger but as someone we can have a chat to and have fun with. Share houses shouldn't be this awkward experience of strangers they should be a great way to get to know people. I am a clean person that loves a good discussion and to have a bit of fun. We are looking for somebody to share a house with that feels and is looking for the same kind of experience. Both of us are country people, living in Melbourne for uni who both work and have over a year's experience each of living away from home, paying rent, etc. Happy to take on first-timers or experienced people so long as they are reliable!
I come from the Philippines and will be taking my MBA this February 2017 in Melbourne. I am very friendly, easy to live with, loves sports, I get along well with others and I cook.
I'm a hard working 23 year old male. I keep to myself most of the time and don't mind a few drinks on the weekend! I'm a manager at the only 24/7 Bottle Shop in Australia on Chapel Street. I love to hang out with mates or play my beloved PS4 when ever I've got a day off. I like to keep a healthy balance between my work and social life.
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I'm currently looking for work so can only commit to a maximum of 4 weeks at the moment, but hopefully I'll find work soon and then it could be anything up to 10 months (when my visa expires). If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date is flexible. Thanks Yvonne
A master student in accounting (25) Respectful, tidy and open - minded. Love watching TV and meeting new people. Don't drink or smoke.
You could speak German with me, because I'm from Berlin. I like it to enjoy food and drink. I am good for visit a museum or the beach. I can be quite, but like good chats. In Germany I worked as a teacher in a kindergarten and finished my study last year. I can paint your face for an event. I stay only one month (March) in Melbourne for saying good bye to Friends and this beautiful city, than I fly back. In March I wanna volunteering maybe in a neighborhood house and will make good experiences. Important for me is a relexed room for enjoying the last days.
Hey everyone, I'm Andrew. Im a 22 year old completing my Honours year at Monash University Caulfield, and looking for a place to say in the area. Im moving to Melbourne from Ocean Grove, and hope to find some housemates that are clean, respectful but also happy to hang out on weekends. I enjoy travelling, cooking, keeping fit and aspire to find employment within the Banking and Finance sector at the conclusion of my degree. Please feel free to contact me as I'm eager to move before Uni starts. Cheers
We are a couple (aged 25 and 28) looking for an apartment or room to rent for few months up to 6 months or so. Offers for shorter time are welcome also right now. We might stay here for longer but we would prefer not to commit to a long lease right now. Argo is currently working full time (near St.Kilda) and I do photography and graphic design and I am looking for a job in the area. Argo likes gardening and has a B.Sc in Landscape Architecture. I studied Biology back home but lately, I have been more interested in photography and arts. I've done cleaning professionally and we like to keep clean. We are rather quiet but we are also happy to socialise and have a glass of wine on the weekends!
