I live with my family in Bendigo but have recently started a job in Melbourne (top end of the CBD) and want a place to stay for a maximum of 4 nights during the week. I'd like something that's furnished, my own bathroom and a secure carpark for my company car. My main interests are motorsport and cycling and I plan to go for early morning or after work rides when i'm staying in Melbourne. I'm very neat and tidy and easy to live with but I'm not much use with cooking so i'll probably eat out a bit.
Hi I'm Jess and moving down to Melbourne in January for work, I am working full time in finance. I work hard during the week and enjoy finding delicious places to eat with friends and exploring new areas. I am a tidy and responsible, a good cook and very easy going, and I'm looking for a like minded housemate!
A little about us: Lindy: I am 20 years old and have travelled to Australia before on my own when I was 16. This time I am going to do my internship in a tour operator in St. Kilda. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 17 so I know the deal and I am tidy and take my responsibilities in the house. I enjoy drinking wine with some nice company and doing water sports. Yorrick: I am 22 years old and I am a chef in a fine dining restaurant in Amsterdam. In Australia I want to continue my passion in one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. You will most likely see me not that often since my job will take away the whole day. I’ve lived in share houses before so I know that I’ll still be responsible for any tasks. In my free time I like to cook a nice dinner or having a drink somewhere and explore the beautiful country. We are looking forward hearing from you!
I would love to have a clean, organised and quite place to study. Don't watch much TV. However, I would like to enjoy a glass of wine and a nice dinner. I really appreciate a balcony. Love brunching on weekends.
Hi there, I'm Karina, a quite friendly, tidy and easy-going person. I'm currently studying at Monash Uni and working part-time on weekends. I like to go gyms as well as outdoor activities like swimming and hiking. I'd like to find a place near Monash Caulfield or Clayton Campus and would prefer a quiet living condition at night.
Currently working and studying full time in Perth. I do have an 8 y/o child, and a Boston Terrier in which would be hoping she could join. Once in Melbourne i plan to find work if not fond prior. We are easy to live with and do go out often. Amelia
Hi I'm Sam I'm a 31 year old tradesman. I'm clean and tidy, I love to cook and clean! lol. I'm fun and social, but really quiet during the week. I like the odd night out. Don't really watch TV I like to read and listen to music instead. If you're interested in meeting me to view your property just send me a message and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
Hi guys! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 350 AUD. We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers! Manami and Vince
Hi! My name is Patricia, I am an 18 year old currently looking for a place to live close to the city. I work in Melbourne Central, and am hoping to go to Melbourne University to study a Bachelor of Arts in 2017. I'm artistic; I like to sing, write, paint and am currently learning to play the guitar. I'm organised and put together, but I'm also just really easy going. I spend most of my time at my part-time job, doing some volunteer work, and will be out of the house a fair bit. I'm really easy to make friends with, up for a good movie night/party/drinks/whatever from time to time. Personally not a smoker, but don't mind living with people who are.

Hi beautiful people. My name is Nick and I am a Kiwi who moved over in August from Auckland, NZ. I am a Digital Marketer by trade, working in the city. Who enjoys coffee, keeping active, gaming, performing and exploring... I made the jump over the ditch with my significant life partner. His name is Dip, a friendly, 8 year old house-trained tabby cat. Currently looking for a room in the wider central Melbourne area until at least late April 2017. My flatmate is unfortunately moving to Sydney in January for work so we need to part ways. Somewhere potentially around Richmond or South Yarra would be amazing. If you don't mind hairy cat children, and hilarious homosexuals, we will most likely be the best of friends! I would love the opportunity to dazzle you with my wit, charisma and general sass. Hopefully I am everything you are missing in your home life, let me fill that void. :) I'm pretty social, usually out and about. Have a boyfriend who would likely stay a couple days a week and I'll also be out at his place as well. Drop me a line and let's become best friends! Kay? Yes? Good? Awesome!
I will be studying Masters at monash university, caulfield campus. Will be moving on 9th Febraury 2017 Require a private Room in shared house/apartment having a friendly environment. Basically an Indian. Like to explore technology, music... Like being tidy, and organised person. Love to be quiet without disturbing anyone with occasional enjoyment over weekends. :) Highly Prefer LGBT friendly environment.
Hello, Jess here (from the US)! I will be in Melbourne for 2 months while Cirque du Soleil is in town. I am pretty laid back, clean and tidy, and as I work evenings and weekends, most of the time it'll be like no one is around. I am also finishing up a master's degree, so I'll mostly be typing quietly my life away any time I am home. If you have a place or want to share, please reach out! Thanks!
Hey there! I'm from Canada, and moving to Melbourne in January for exchange. Easy going, super social and looking for a short or long term stay. For February, or February-June, depending on the place. Would prefer more than 2 roommates just to meet more people, in a good area to access ACU campus (or Uni of Melb) and CBD by tram fairly easily. I love animals, am LGBT + friendly and prefer house over an apartment. My lifestyle is mostly fun and healthy. Quite clean, but am easy going depending on roommates preferences. Prefer private room. Might consider looking at places outside the neighbourhoods listed... Give me a shout with anything you have, or want to meet up for exploring or a beer when I'm in the city! Cheers Rach
I'm a primary school teacher (the blonde in the picture) who has just gotten back from teaching in the UK for the last two years. Starting at a new school in Melbourne in late January in Canterbury. I'm easy going, tidy, and enjoy cooking, fitness, wine, going out and socialising with friends...definitely not a home body. Want to live with people that I can share a drink or meal, but who also have their own social lives.
Hello everyone. My name is Rene and my girlfriend is Lauren. We have just arrived from Brighton in England. We have lived in Melbourne before returning to the UK in May. Now it got cold back in Europe and we thought we would come back and escape for the nice weather here in Melbourne. Lauren is a singer and I am a musician and play guitar and a couple other instruments. We are both very laid back and easy going and like to keep tidy and clean. Even though we are play music we are very quiet when living in a shared house. We understand it is a social thing to play music but when living in a shared house it is better to respect the whole house and those living in it. So we tend to take our music out the house and into venues instead :) Anyway we are looking for a place as soon as possible and would be happy to arrange some viewings soon as possible. We are looking for anywhere near and in and around Melbourne. Hope to hear and be in contact with some nice Melburnians All the best Rene and Lauren
Hey everyone! My name is Peter, I am currently in the process of moving from Toronto, Canada to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. Although I will be on a temp. visa, I am looking to permanently relocate and hope to work towards that upon my arrival. A bit about me, I am a young professional working in commercial banking. Have been doing it for a few years and have recently contemplated a career change with this move. Possibly open up my own business! On my spare time, I play basketball, go to the gym, a big coffee fan, love to explore the city, and a strong believer looking to get plugged into a church community. I'm looking for stability and wont be the typical traveller on this visa. I am a home owner here in Canada, so I am tidy and clean up after myself. I have rented rooms to some mates here and so I really understand the process! I am quite social and love to meet new people, but also balanced and can give sufficient space too. I'm very transparent and hope to find some mates who have the same values/interests. I am quite flexible with the duration of my stay. I prefer to find a place that is furnished and tidy. Close to public transportation and grocery stores are always a bonus! Looking for a place that is $200/pw inclusive of utilities and internet. If you have something that may be of interest please send me a message! Look forward to meeting you!
Hi! My name is Diana, I'm 22 years old girl from Russia. Have been living in Melbourne for more than a year now. I'm currently looking for a good sized private room in Eastern Suburbs (South Yarra; Prahran; Windsor; Malvern; Toorak; Ripponlea; Elsternwick; Caulfield North/ South). Looking for something for long term (1 year). Happy to pay around $180 per week without bills. I'm getting Master of Marketing and work a couple of jobs at the moment, so have a stable income. I don't spend a lot of time at home as I pretty busy during the week and sometimes have work on the weekends as well. I'm really respectful of others space, always clean after myself and generally keep a positive atmosphere around the house ;) I've got a few things that I can bring to the house including fridge, cutlery, vacuum cleaner, I can also bring some furniture for the living room if needed. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for university. I love sport particularly Aussie Rules. I like to play my PS4 and watch many different TV series. I can be a great guy to joke around with but also like to keep my own space.
Hi, we are two girls from Germany who just arrived in Melbourne one week ago. Moving to Melbourne from Country Victoria in Mid January for work until the end of June. Teacher who has secured work in St Kilda East/Caulfield during term 2 2017, this will be supplemented with regular emergency work in term 1. I have an impeccable rental history with favourable references from all previous housemates. Looking for a quiet sociable house/flat with professionals. I am a healthy active person, I will be working through the week and try to keep active on weekends with riding, camping and football taking up most of my days. I am social but am well past the party stage of life. I hope to hear back. Ben
I'm taking 3D Animation Major as my study and I have been working on some VFX as a Junior VFX Artist in an animation studio in Bali. I will be moving to Melbourne around end of January. I might be often in front of my laptop doing my assignments and working on some freelance jobs. I do also play guitar, maybe we can make a duet and sing together. I'm not a good cook but I love cooking! I am so easy going anyway. I'd love to go on adventures and I'd love to hang out. I love drinking coffee. I'm so open-minded so don't worry :)

I'm a relatively new person to Melbourne as I hail from WA originally. I've got a part time job with Coles to at least have money coming through the door, but ultimately I would like to start my career in IT as I've graduated from uni - back in WA - not too long ago and want to see something come out for it. I'm a very friendly guy, and believe that making a house a sanctuary is important for our health. Speaking of which I'm very dedicated to, going to the gym and eating right, I don't smoke, social drinker and I'm very open about mental health. I am a bit of a night owl but I understand fully well how important it is to have silence in the night to sleep. I am looking for a large room to fit a double bed, bedside tables, computer station, and preferrable BIR. Looking for a room that has both heating and cooling facilities available
I am an academic looking for a studio or my own flat, but could also imagine living with in a shared house. I am from Europe and in Melbourne for my sabbatical as a Visiting Researcher at RMIT. I love sports, cooking and am responsible, clean and quiet. Non-smoker.

We are coming from Rome and we do videos for commercials and cinema. We are nice and clean people! we like to socialize and we respect the privacy of all the flatmates :)

Originally from NSW and starting my master in Physiotherapy in early January. I love sports, the outdoors, getting together with friends and health sciences. I look forward to meeting potential housemates and hopefully making life long friends in the process:)))
I have lived all over the world and I've had many great experiences sharing houses. I'm a tidy and considerate person to live with and I understand the un-written rules of house sharing.
Hey, my name is Filippo. I've currently gained a working visa to come visit Australia for 1 year. I'm hoping to be full time but currently will be receiving only part time hours. My name is Imogen, I am currently not living in Melbourne but am hoping to at the beginning of 2017 ( if accepted into university) I'm hoping to study a bachelor of communication course, as this is my passion. I love art and food and relaxing in my bed binge watching tv shows. I will be taking up a part time job whilst studying, but wanting to find a pretty trendy house with a respectful yet lovely room mate! :)
Hi , I'm Duygu cheerful girl , from Turkey. I will come to Melbourne as a student for 2 months maybe 3. I am tidied up and neat. I always clean things after me, so that's not gonna be a problem. Not a neat freak. Pets are ok for me, if you have. I love any kind of animal especially cats and dogs ! I can take the dog out for a walk and feed the cat all the time <3 no prob. I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying (outside of course) , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm quiet at home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner I'm always in ^^ Probably my English school will be between 9ish and 14o'clock, Mon-Fri. I'm looking for a place as a private room. Yard would be fine to chill and BBQ(I'd never complain about something if you'd do it everyday haha). I might be a student in Melbourne, but no worries about the bills cuz I'm already employed in my country. I'll be landed on 8th so it's a bit urgent !
Currently studying a diploma in early childcare and looking for somewhere to live while i finish that. Im easy to live with i think because im an introvert. I hang out at home a lot i dont smoke barely drink and dont have people over often. Any more questions please feel free to hit me up and ask away!
I have been working in London for the past 4 years for Estée Lauder at Heathrow and have now been transferred to Melbourne International Airport. As a result I need somewhere on the Skybus route as I work shifts. I'm an easy going non smoker, cook, clean and all that boring stuff. I enjoy Jazz, fine food and come complete without baggage, well my suitcase, 3 actually. There will be times when I am away visiting my daughter in Port Mac, son in Coffs or my Mum in Tweed Heads so if you want a constant companion rule me out, I work a variety of shifts so will sometimes be in bed very early.
Apart from having traits you want in a housemate like being clean and tidy, washing up their dishes and making sure food in the fridge doesn't go mouldy etc, I've lived with lots of people before so i can adapt to different personality types and the different ways we all live ☺️ I'm a super busy person which means I'm not home a lot, I work both morning and night times, but I love to go out and relax with friends or unwind at home with a glass of wine and tv (food network is always a winner). I love to cook, but I'm from a big family so I believe home cooked meals are to be enjoyed together and time should be spent together.
Hi, My name is Lina Im 20 and work full time. Im usually out for most part of the day because of my work schedule. Hi All, My name is Daniel, I am 21 years old. I will be studying at SCU for my Bachelors Degree in IT. I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy-go-lucky, glass-half-full type person. Clean, neat and independent. A lover of food, films, travel and having fun. Hoping to live with similar-aged people who enjoy dinner, wine, movies, chatting, travelling and all those good things. Although I am very sociable but I totally respect privacy and personal spaces. I also have a part time job, so will be pretty busy with that and studying however, I'm always up for hanging out. Give me a message if you think you'd like to live with me or want to chat! Very excited to meet some new people and experience all Melbourne has to offer! Thank You
Hello everyone, I'm Paolo and I come from Italy! I want to move in Melbourne at the end of december to attend a language course and i'm looking for a room. I like to laugh and joke and I'm perfectly capable of having a good coexistence with other flatmate, I being careful and orderly!
I am a graduate student studying physics in Switzerland and I will spend the next semester as an exchange student at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Therefore, I am looking for an affordable home not too far away from the university campus (Parkville Victoria 3010) and some enriching friendships rather than only functional flatmates. I am used to live in a shared flat and would say that I am quite tidy and hopefully a pleasant flatmate. I am always happy to have a good conversation, a brief chat or to laugh with others, nevertheless, every now and then I enjoy silence and therefore also greatly respect the privacy of others. Being good-natured, helpful and complaisant is very important for me, I hope my friends would say so either, but at least I am indeed aware of holding this in regard.
I am a really clean and fun person! I like to cook or have a nice meal together! :-) I'm from Germany and lived in Byron the last 3 month! I like to go to markets or staying at home as well. :-) im a easy going girl and a good FlatMate ;-)
I'm an engineer from India coming to Melbourne to pursue masters in Information Technology from RMIT university.
