I'm Patricia, a spanish student working in hospitality. I've been In Melbourne since October, living in North Melbourne and now I'm looking for a single or share room, not too far from CBD (no more that 30 min by bike) where to live long time if it's possible. More about me... I'm 27 years old, vegetarian, non-smoker, quiet, friendly, responsible with payments, totally respectful with private space, easy going, clean and tidy. I love music, animals, Netflix, reading, traveling and climbing. In Spain I worked as therapist massage and osteopath. I would like to live with LGBT friendly people and house mates to talk and share some time would be nice.
Hi! My name's Brooke, and I'm an 20 year old library technician from south-east Melbourne. I'm studying to become a librarian while working in a library five days a week. Currently I am living in rural south east Melbourne, and I am wanting to move closer to both work and to Melbourne's nightlife. I am looking for a private room in either the inner southern/eastern/northern Melbourne suburbs, particularly St Kilda, or on the Pakenham train line. Great public transport links are essential. I am in no hurry to move, so the move in date is flexible. I am not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere clean and affordable to call home. If the house and flat mates were a good fit I'd be open to renting long term. A social house would be great so I can make some new friends around my new home, and I'd like to get to know the people I am living with. I don't want to live in a party house, but I'd love to live in the sort of house where we can hang out together over a pint. Ideally I'd be living with other people in their twenties, but I'm not an age snob. I have lived in a share house previously, so I appreciate the importance of communication and respect in making sure we all enjoy living together. I also like to think I'm a friendly, respectful, clean and easy going person. And most importantly... I love cleaning rosters!! I've always been punctual and reliable with rent and bills. More than happy to provide proof of income and financial position to assure you I am able to pay consistently. Monday-Friday are spent working and studying, so I'd be pretty quiet during the week. By the weekend I am your typical 20 year old; I love heading out to the pub or to a gig with friends. That being said, I respect if my potential flat mates want a quiet home. I love music and I can be found listening to Oasis literally most of the time. Quite shy at first, but I am outgoing once I've gotten to know people. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit in your house! Cheers!
I'm 26 and work full time as a software developer. Interests would include reading, movies, computers (obviously), exploring Melbourne, hanging out with friends on the weekends, nothing too exciting! Recently I've been getting really into cooking and eating healthy, and living in a place with a gym/pool would be awesome for me. I usually spend my home time either on my computer, researching, playing video games, or watching a good show/movie! I get along great with pretty much everyone, I'll always respect others space, and I understand the importance of a tidy home! I'm always up for a chat or going out for food. But also really appreciate having my alone time
I came to Melbourne with a Work & Holiday visa, I kept my chilean job as business analyst as a freelancer type job to finance part of the plan. I love to travel, netflix, photography, neumarketing and many other subjects. I pretend to find a job as real estate photographer, warehouse administrator or similar so I will be most of the time out of the apartment. If you have any question don´t hesitate to ask!
I'm an occupational therapy student moving for clinical placement. I've been in shared student houses for the last couple of years so have experienced everything you want to throw at me. I'm tidy but not obsessive and I take care of where I stay. I'll be pretty quiet, due to my study load. I paint a little too.
Hi my name is James Duncan and I am 23 years old and from the UK. Currently looking for a place to stay preferably in Saint Kilda or any surrounding area. I work part time in the CBD as a housekeeper for a hotel but I am also looking for full time work to help fund my travels around Australia. I only need a place until June when I will be heading off to the mountains to do a ski season! I am an easy going friendly guy who cleans up after himself and respects a bit of peace and quiet but also enjoys a drink every now and then.
Hey! I'm looking for a place long term and looking to move within the next two months. More about me: I'm currently at the University of Melbourne studying History. I work at the university casually too. I'm busy throughout the week so I'll be in and out of the house quite often. I'm sociable but chill and love a good chat about anything really. Things I like: I love frequenting the cinema and going to gigs. Other: I'm reliable and can pay rent/bills on time.
We are a young couple both working full time (caitlin - a teacher, James - physical performance coach) who enjoy making new friends, trying new and different experiences and keeping healthy and active. We are both respectful of other people and very easy going. We have experience living with others and have traveled extensively in a variety of accommodations so we are very adaptable and lots of fun. We will assist with any cleaning or house maintenance as we value a clean loving environment.
Hello! I am a Canadian living in Melbourne looking for a place to stay for 3-4 months as I work at a restaurant during my WHV here. I am a tidy and well kept person who cleans up after themselves. I love music and am often listening to something or reading a book! I play soccer, tennis, and skateboard. I love to cook and enjoy cleaning(I think it's relaxing). I've worked in hospitality for the majority of my career and plan on finding a job in a hotel/bar/restaurant(show me your fav spots!). I love eating out and I do enjoy a good glass of wine or pint of beer or 2 or 3 haha. Hit me up if you're looking for a housemate that is chill, reliable, and overall a pretty alright dude! Cheers!
25. Working full time. Looking for a private room. Don’t mind a private bathroom or shared. I require a parking spot for my car or off street parking. I enjoy cooking some nights after work and stay pretty low key during the week. On weekends I’ll hang with friends or go visit my parents. Not a party person. I enjoy exercising. Watching movies.
Hi I'm Kim! I'm from Chicago and will be living in Melbourne for (up to) a year on my working holiday visa. I'm quiet, friendly, and organized. I consider myself an introvert, so I need some down time to myself—though I do like the option of having company around, as I grew up with a lot of siblings and had roommates in college! I like hanging out with friends, having a drink, watching tv/movies, listening to music, and having a good laugh. Super excited for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. I'm very neat—I always clean up after myself and find washing my dishes and laundry to be relaxing. I'm taking my time finding a job here and hope to find a few freelance writing gigs along the way. I'm also planning on enrolling in some casual/part-time courses once I get settled. I'd prefer an all-female flat and I'd love to build friendships out of my flatmateship!
I'm a software engineer work in Melbourne CBD. I'm a very clean and neat person to live with and I'm not the kind of person that brings over heaps of people all the time or makes a lot of noises. Also, I'm very easy going and I love to have a chat with my housemates over a drink or dinner after work sometime. Besides, I enjoy going out with my friends, watching movies and animation. I'd be able to move in the end of April. Feel free to contact me if you wanna team up.
I'm 27 and I've just moved back to Australia after working and living in London for 2 years. I've been working for flight centre as a travel consultant for the last 4 years in Geelong and London. Im very laid back and easy going, but I always clean up after myself and chip in around the house as expected when sharing. When I'm not at work or away travelling, I enjoy playing basketball, going out for drinks, bingeing the odd tv series and keeping fit. I'm starting a new job with student flights Melbourne Uni in April and I'm looking for a place within 30 minutes of the shop. I'd like to live with other easy going people who enjoy being social and are capable of doing things independently as well.
Friendly, easy going Italian guy, permanently settled here in Melbourne. I am seeking for an accommodation as I am ready to move in asap. I am a full time worker and business owner, working in hospitality, which keeps me busy 5 days out of 7 (no late night shifts, mostly from 2pm to 10pm) , but in my free time I enjoy chilling out, watching tv, play sports and keep myself active as well as having a good chat over a good meal or a glass of wine.
Hi, my name is Carmen. I am from Germany and 25 years old. At the moment I want to find a work here in Melbourne and stay here for a couple weeks. I am friendly, open minded, a little bit shy at the beginning but we will have a lot fun when we now each other for a little longer. I hope to have a good time and find some new friends. Carmen :)
I'm looking for a private room in a social sharehouse (either team up or in an existing one) with laidback, like minded girls around my age. It would be cool to find someone/people I can become friends with rather than just 'housemates', who are up for the occasional weekend outing or a trashy TV show session at home, however also respecting each others down time also. I'm a casual/full-time receptionist, and I'm pretty laid-back during the week as I would be at work then at the gym, and on the weekends I like to go out for lunch, meet up with friends, have a drink or five, stay active, and just be lazy on the couch watching movies :) Definitely would like the communal areas clean, although a couple dishes in the sink won't bother me. Basically looking for good vibes and a nicely furnished place I can feel comfortable in and call home with cool people! Move in date early-mid April would be ideal!
I am a software developer and visual artist/photographer doing a Master of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts. Looking for a room that is not far from transportation. I was working for a telecom company and made enough savings to cover my expenses for pretty long time, besides freelancing/casual work. I have a studio at the college where I spend most experimenting on my artworks, and at night I usually like to keep to myself, but I enjoy a conversation over a nice meal or drinks.

We are clean, tidy and easy going, open minded and after many shared house, we can say that we know how to live with others :) Looking forward to meeting you :)
