I love socialising but also love my own space. Moved from Sydney a year ago, would like to live with 1-2 other people, who enjoy going out for drinks and a dance, but also like to chill. I work in sales, from home a few days a week. Recently single and need to move asap... I do need somewhere with easy parking. Thanks!!
Hello, we are Florence and Nicolas, a couple from Paris. We are coming in Melbourne to find jobs. I am working as an event manager and Nicolas is a web developer. One of the most important thing to us is that our future place is clean, and that we have our own bathroom or ensuite. We are looking for a real home. We are both chill, we like spending time watching tv and netflix, but we also like sharing a bottle of wine or beer sometimes. We are not too much of the party style, but we do like to go out in bars occasionally. We like company but we also enjoy our privacy. Nicolas is a swimmer and I like yoga. We both like to cook and play video games.
About me: I am a passionate person. Passionate about music, education, travel, friendship, and love. I like to stay in shape, I currently go to the gym 3 or so days per week and play football (soccer). I grew up in London in the UK till I was 12, then I moved to Auckland in New Zealand. I lived there until this year. I spent a year studying sustainable real estate development in Vancouver, Canada in 2014-15. I own and run online websites currently, I am looking to devote half my working time to this and half toward more property investment and development, which I would like do in Melbourne. About Braxton: From Vancouver, property, and commerce degree. Works in Brand development and always up for a laugh and a good time. What we are looking for: 2 bedrooms in a share house for myself and Braxton. We would be willing to stay till April 2018, for the right house. I am looking for some open minded flatmates that can inspire us and help us to live a fun, fulfilling and conscious life. If you love to cook, play and/or listen to music, go to shows and generally love adventures, then I am the right flatmate for you. If you are quiet, closed minded and/or do not enjoy music, we are not the right flatmates for you. I am happy to have a phone call to see if we would get on well, so shoot me a message and we can organize that. Jamie
Hey :) My name is Rhianne (22) and my boyfriends name is Sam (22) . We're both originally from England but currently in Melbourne on working holiday visas. I've been living in Melbourne now for 5 months and love it here - hence why Sam has now joined me! We are planning on staying in Melbourne for at least 3 months while both of us work full time. During the week we have pretty quite lives but we both enjoy going to the gym in the evenings. On weekends we like to go out and explore cultural Melbourne, visiting different cafes, bars and restaurants (we're both major foodies!) As a couple we are both tidy and clean as well as respectful of other peoples spaces but we still like to socialise!
I am a 28-year-old American that has been living in Melbourne for a year. I currently have a roommate from the UK that is moving back in the middle of October and I would like to get into a shared house or apt around October 14th. I have a 7 year old cocker spaniel who is very chill and loving. He does not chew anything, does not go to the bathroom in the house. I imported him over from America earlier this year. I work 9-6, Monday through Friday. During the week I enjoy watching movies, reading, going on walks, I love the beach and anything outside, making dinner and listening to music. I am clean, friendly, outgoing and have lived with roommates since I was 18 at uni. I would love to meet with potential housemates with my dog Logan and I, and find a great place to move in together or move into! Please contact me. Cheers :)
Hi! I'm Anamaria :) a masters student from Colombia. I'm an open minded, easygoing, organized and responsible girl. I love cooking and eating, listening to music, dance a little and talk about life. I also enjoy my privacy, some Sundays are just perfect in my own bed.
Hey there, I'm Jon. I'm originally from wintery Winnipeg, Canada, and have been living in Melbourne since Feb 2016. I'm looking for a private bedroom room in a 2-4 person share house and have to be out of my current house by Sept 12th. I'm looking for something longer term. I'm currently in Coburg, but want to move closer to the city, and closer to the freeway since most of my work is in the Eastern Suburbs. By day I work in a sales type job, and am also a part time music teacher. By night I'm a professional freelance musician. But don't worry, I'm very conscious and considerate of any practicing in the house, and usually try to do it around when people aren't around or outside the house entirely. I'm often out during the week nights rehearsing, but never in my home. I'm also sometimes/often away on the weekends a fair bit as a lot of my gigs are out of town. When I am around, I love to hang, chat, and cook. I'm a huge foody and cook quite a bit, and also love cooking for and with others ;) I'm a social creature and am looking for a home, not just a place to lay my head. I'd love to find people who enjoy hanging out, going for drinks or food, out to gigs and what not! I like my own space and privacy, but looking for like minded people I can become friends with! I'm a pretty active guy, when I'm not playing music or cooking, I like anything involving sports, reading, going to gigs, exploring the city and going out. Also a pretty serious backpackers and and always planning the next location. If this all sounds good to you, drop me a line! Cheers :)
Easygoing and friendly 24 yr old Irish doctor recently moved to Melbourne for work. I'm the kinda guy who likes to makes friends with his housemates as opposed to just finding a place to sleep so a social friendly household is a must. Animal lover, non-smoker, tidy. Like eating out, going for a few drinks, music, and if anyone fancies a hot air balloon ride over the city hit me up
I'm Kira, 21 years, and I have moved to the city for work. I am tidy, reliable and respect privacy, but also love socializing. Not interested in share rooms at all. Looking in the west suburbs due to the locations of my current positions. PLEASE DO NOT TEXT ME, MESSAGE ME ON HERE AND I WILL REPLY
Looking for team ups only! Hey! We are Isabelle and Salvy, we both are in mid 20's and working full time. Salvy as a booking manager and Isabelle is working in a chemist. Feel free to message us if you're looking for something similar :)
Hello. I am a visual merchandiser and book buyer for an independent bookshop in Melbourne, which keeps me busy during the week. On weekends (and also some evenings) I concentrate on my visual art/design practice in my studio. Beyond this, I like to read, spend time outdoors, attend yoga classes and catch up with friends. I am a very considerate, reasonable, independent flatmate that enjoys living in and maintaining a nice, clean, peaceful and uncomplicated home.
I'm 29 years old and work full-time as an analyst in East Melbourne. I'm also starting my part-time MBA at Melbourne Business School in September and therefore looking to move within close range to the city. I'm a very social person, enjoy the occasional drinks, playing basketball with friends, brunching on weekends etc.
Hi everyone! It's Tom here, lover of plants, food and coffee. I'm fully house trained, looking for a sharehouse with great vibes to call home! Currently working full time in the CBD, looking to be a little closer to work.
Hi everyone! My name is Sheila (female, Belgian). I am currently on a working holiday in Australia. I have found a new home in Melbourne so I am looking for my next temp accommodation. I make a living as a live music performer and doing part time jobs. I am a respectful and tidy house mate. I enjoy a chat and a drink, party once in a while but I also like my privacy and just chill. I could be the ideal candidate to sub-rent your room while you are away. Ideally I am looking for a PRIVATE, furnished room - for $150-180 per week , bills included (willing to pay more if within CBD) - in CBD or nearby suburbs max 30 min away by PT - preferably no bond or up to two weeks - 6 weeks starting 20 September I am flexible so can do earlier or later. I look forward to hearing from you ☺ Sheila
- Bubbly 21 year old university student studying Psychology and French - A progressive minimalist - I wouldn't come with much stuff and my room will always be clean and presentable - Highly considerate and respectful of others, but I do expect the same in return - Very organised, responsible and reliable - Like to socialise but I'm not a big party girl. - Into jogging, yoga (still getting the hang of it!), wholefood consumption and travel!
Hi there! How’s it going? I hope well! I am a quite good Brazilian guy, 26 years old looking for a private room in this amazing city! First you need to know, I love cooking, although I usually do not do it too much because I hate doing the dishes (that’s terrible job), but if you have a dishwasher or do not mind doing this one, we have perfect match for special dinners! I work part-time as office cleaner at night and have some shifts as barista in a cafe shop. Coffee (another love). Honestly, I have a lot of loves, cooking, coffee, new food experiences, beer, spend time on the beach, brigadeiro, chocolate, etc. I am not such a fitness guy, although if I have a partner I can use to do any sports, I’d like to learn how to sky or surf, or simply to go to the gym together. Besides that, I’m studying a diploma in information technology, then Monday to Saturday I’m busy. During free time, I like cooking Brazilian foods, watching series (GOT, how to get away with a murder, sense8, the walking dead, etc), walking on the beach or just going out with friends to have some beers. I am not a huge party boy, I really enjoy taking a seat and talking to, drinking and eating anything. Although I often do not make my bad, I use to keep on the house tidy and clean, principally kitchen and bathroom, also I use to take shower every day (same in freezing days) and brush teeth 4 or 5 times a day (I am a bit paranoid about my teeth). I have visa until 19/01/2019, so I am looking for a place where a can call home for this long time and I want to move in the last week of September. Let’s catch up for drinks and talk about our future house? =D Have a wonderful week! See you soon!
Hey. We are Isabelle and Salvy in mid 20s. Salvy is working full time as a booking manager and Isabelle is working in chemist. We are looking for a large room to fit queen size bed, preferably with ensuite bathroom (if not that's fine to) and close to the train station. We both are open minded, easy going, responsible and clean. Love to have a drink, a good conversation but sometimes just relax and watch a movie. (:
Melbourne stole me from NZ! I came here on holiday a little while back and fell in love with the city, finally moved over a few weeks back! I have a recently acquired a job (or two) so thats a good start, now I need somewhere to live. I've studied art for a few years, and will try and jam something creative into my day wherever I can. I love being outdoors and entrenched in nature. But also chilling out and having yarns at home. Bubbly, slightly quirky individual making the most of an opportunity.
Hi, I'm Leon, 24, IT professional working full time. I'm from Brisbane, but I've just landed a job in Melbourne and therefore need to make a move I'm career focused, enthusiastic, easy going, friendly and mature (I have to, when the majority of my time at my previous job involves training and dealing with CFOs and high level management staff). I'm looking for a place to call home because moving is such a huge pain, so long term is preferred. Hopefully I can make friends with the housemates, too. By the way, I'm gay so ideally I'm looking to share the house with other gay friends or gay friendly people. I'm clean and tidy and willing to share housework. I need a room that has enough storage for me to put my stuff away, preferably ones that have a BIR/WIR. I also have a car so I will need parking. On street or off street, it doesn't matter, as long as it's legal and safe. Hobbies include music, long drives, road trips, movies, eating out, drinking etc. Hopefully you and I can find something in common that we can do together 😁. I'll be in Melbourne from Thursday (24/08) and will stay until Monday (28/08), so if you have any question, please send me a message. I need to get my accommodation sorted by Friday 01/09 in preparation for the interstate moving and for my job to start.
