Hey Guys ! We are Justine and Lucas, we come from Paris in France ! We are coming in Melbourne to study during 6 months ! We are looking for a nice place to stay during this period with awesome flatmates ! See you soon ! Justine & Lucas
I am currently a 22 year old Masters of Law student at the University of Melbourne. My sister Mehreen, is a 19 year old Business student at LaTrobe University. We are from Abu Dhabi, UAE and we are looking for a 2 bedroom place in either an apartment or a whole rented property. We are friendly, hard working and clean individuals and we love to cook.
I am easy-going, clean and responsible. In my free time, I like going out, hiking, reading, and going to the beach. I am a Monash Alumni currently working and doing a CPA course online. I have lived in Melbourne for 6 years now and have a strong rental history to show for it (+always pay rent and bill on time). My move in date (10th of May latest) and length of stay is flexible, a minimum of three months but happy with something long term as well, depending on the place. Budget is $350 per week max including all bills. Preferably looking for an all girls apartment in and around the city. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey, I'm Maddy from Taiwan. I am a full-time student studying Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. I also work part-time at university libraries, so no problem paying the rent on time. I'm clean and tidy and would love things to be organized. I am also easy-going, friendly, respectful and positive and I love to laugh:) Oh, and I love plants and animals. During the week I will probably be really busy, so I'll need a quiet place for me to relax (or study). But on the weekend or in my spare time, I enjoy drawing, reading and going to the movies. I love outdoor activities like hiking, camping, scuba diving or just traveling around and exploring cool and unique coffee shops. Feel free to contact me if you think I will be a suitable Flatmate. :)
Hey I’m Karen, a 24 year old currently on a student visa. I’m from Bogotá , colombia. My boyfriend is 25 years old, from England. We are both quiet but always up for a sociable chat and a few drinks on a weekend! If you have any more questions , ask away! Thanks :)
Hi there. I'm Robin, a 26 years old IT student from Germany. I studied last year for one semester at Swinburne University and fell immediately in love with Melbourne. So extended my stay by another few months (one year at the maximum), in order to gain some working experience in Australia. The length of my stay depends mostly on my work situation, so I'd prefer to stay flexible about the move-out date, but I'm sure we can find a deal that suits both of us. I'm well experienced living in a shared flat, so you can be sure, that I keep my things tidy. I'm always up for social cooking, a chat in the kitchen or a drink at the weekend. Most people say that I am an easy going person and roommate with the utmost respect for other's belongings. I love to cook, have a passion for programming and can often be found in the boulder gym. I'm looking for friendly, respectful and active flatmates. I' looking forward to meeting you! :)
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a full-time law student, and I work part-time as a Paralegal in a Construction Law firm. This means that I attend university from 6-9pm, but don't worry, I am extremely well practiced in the art of closing doors quietly when I arrive home! I also volunteer at the Trades Hall helping young people with employment law issues. I enjoy dragon-boat racing, chess (all board games) and debating. I am looking for two key criteria. Close to public transport and a big enough room. In addition, I am looking for a friendly home that is a good fit. I love to have a laugh and I deeply enjoy intellectual conversations and value the sharing of knowledge. However, I am reasonably busy and therefore, happy to also live my own independent life. I am looking for flat share either in, or just outside of the Melbourne CBD, such as Docklands, or Kilda Road. I would happily live in just about any suburb (within thirty minutes of the city) as long as the place is close to a train station (within a five minutes walk). I can supply a fridge, a washing-machine and cooking equipment for the house. I am looking for an unfurnished room (unless of course, your bed and mattress is of a better quality than the Queen size bed I own already). Although I do not drink, smoke or watch television, I am totally relaxed and open to you enjoying these things. The only thing that really bothers me is the smell of incense. I am afraid I have an antipathy towards it. I rarely use the kitchen to prepare food as I mostly eat out or eat microwaveable meals. I am happy to contribute to my share of the chores and I'd would be even happier to put in for a cleaner! In addition, I am looking for a room with the following features: -A window that opens with natural light -Can accommodate a large desk and a queen size bed -Access to fast, unlimited internet (does not have to be included in the price) -I must be able to pay the bond to the RTBA -The room must be an actual room (not partitioned) with a door, and not sharing with others in the same room. * Please note that $300 is the maximum amount of weekly rent I wish to pay and a higher rent is non-negotiable (not inclusive of bills and internet). Many thanks, Lucy
We are a couple of Brazilians. We came to Melbourne to start a new life here. We study in the morning and we are also looking for part-time jobs. We are looking for a room to be like our home. We would like a bedroom with our own bathroom. We are quiet and respectful people, we like to cook when we have time. In the free time we like to go to the gym, watching movies and going to the parks to relaxing.
Hi there, My name is Vivek. I am originally from Singapore. I'm currently working full time in digital marketing and simultaneously finishing my final year at uni. I'm a non-smoker, bit of a foodie and super tidy. When I'm not working I am usually either doing a gym class or catching up on my favourite Tv. Shows.
Hello potential roomies. i am 29 yrs old I am Clean, neat, tidy, bit laid back individual. I currently work part time as a security guard in the city for the local government most of my work lies on the weekends and is 12hrs long 7-7 so I hope any potential room mates aren't bothered by this as i'd probably be coming home late. Probably won't see me around much unless it's my day off or I am on the nights watch Looking for a place asap & long term Looking for a place close to the city in Melbourne for work and to save on travel because i don't drive. What I am Looking for in a place: I will require a built in robe preferred for storing my clothes & stuff & Desk I have some furniture at my parents place belonging to me such as ,bookshelf, study desk, beside tables i will not be bringing at this stage they will be stored until i decide to get my own place or upsize but for now a room and a bed is what i need. Also Kitchen with basics to cook and eat with. i am happy to buy some crockery to have meals etc and if people want to do shared dinners i am willing to pitch my pot and buy ingredients and contribute to a meal. As i know living out of home is hard :X preferences I Would like all bills, electricity gas water etc & internet included in this so I may B-Pay rent & all bills etc when due. (all this to be discussed of course as to a system of how bills are paid etc) Prefer to fit within my budget and for ALL bills to be covered in rent( struggles of renting and budgeting on low income) if require a Bond i will be registering this with the RBA sorry But that's just the law if you don't agree with that then that's fine clearly i am not the tenant for you. So if I sound like the flatmate 4 u message us. Feel free to contact us What I am asking for in a roommate: Social- wants to get to know a bit about me the person living with them. i am shy but i like to try to be social and make friends where i can despite my age & difficulties but at the same time i respect peoples privacy but... if i am going to be living with you long term it be great if say example Tuesday is friends night and you guys are having a movie night if you don't mind me joining you or want to go out to a movie then extend an invite or if your someone who gyms or trivia & wants a partner count me in as i'd like to be an active housemate Nice mature People. smoking is fine although i don't smoke personally so not inside if you do Casual drinker is fine i enjoy a casual drink but i am not a heavy drinker. No drugs i don't want to be around this personally Respect where respect is due is important to me I need to feel some sort of trust. any more info please feel free to contact me. Please No time wasters if you are serious and offering a place i have had so many people organise inspections and what not only to take it back or no longer interested so please no time wasters.
Enthusiast French student coming to Australia for a 4 month internship as Assistant Engineer. Very easy to live with, I can accomodate with practicly anyone (except if you hate listening to music, but who is like that anyways ?) I can be wild & extremelly motivated when the situation calls for it, but also very calm when need to. I rarely say no to a night out, especially in a place like Melbourne I wish to discover. Hope I will find great people to live with !
Hey there, my name is leroy ramirez I am 24 years of age, and I just recently moved to Melbourne from the sunny Gold Coast. I am a very chill laid back guy who likes to have fun but also can be serious when needed, but other than that I’m a very happy, peaceful content type of guy, I am pretty tall, some people get intimidated by me but trust me I’m a very fun, loving and caring guy, I love tattoos, arts, music, chilling with good company, I go to the gym, but mostly I like to be out and about experiencing life to the fullest. I currently work full time at JD sports Melbourne central, I love my sneakers, I am also in the process of launching my own clothing label in July which Im really excited for, but on a serious note I’m just looking for a room to rent and I would be able to move in as soon as possible, but I’d rather like to catch up with whoever gives me the chance so I can introduce myself in person. Take care
Hi I'm Jasmine, I am 21 and studying business at the RMIT city campus while also bar tending part time at a club in the city. I am looking for a room unfurnished either in a share house or single property. I come with a happy calm, well behaved Kelpie dog both of us are house trained and brought up living inside but is happy outside during the day, his name is Tucker and he is 2! I am happy to pay extra for the privilege of having him stay. He is walked at least once a day and spends the rest napping, playing with toys and cuddling whoever is up for it, he sleeps in my room. I pride myself on being clean and tidy and pretty social, I love exploring Melbourne (Dive Bars are a favourite), eating good food and going out, with a nice balance of downtime and studying. I can come with a full house of furniture (laundry included) or just my stuff for a room as required. Looking for something around the end of May as that is when my current lease ends.
