Hello :) I am a 29 y.o. french guy who just arrived in Melbourne after 8 months of traveling around Australia. I plan to stay between 3 and 6 months in Melbourne (maybe more !). I am very friendly, sporty and tidy. I am outgoing but I also like staying in the appartment with a good movie. I used to leave in flatshare in France for a few years and I am now looking for a private room to have a real life in Melbourne (I start to be tired of the hostel ;)). If you've got any question, let me know ! Cheers !
Hello! Looking for somewhere to live in the inner suburbs with great people! I work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
Hi there potential flat mate! I’m Amanda currently a full-time student. I’m currently living in Brunswick but for convenience sake I want to move back into the city. I’m looking for a private room ideally sharing the whole place with no more than 2-3 people. Furnished/unfurnished room is both fine with me cause I do have my own furnitures. Not looking for a party house but occasion dinner with few pals over is totally fine. Apartment buildings with a gym is a plus (really gotta start working my summer bod). I’m easy to live with, open for a chat anytime and can also just keep to myself. I’m always the one paying bills and rent for the whole house so no worries for any late payment here ;) I enjoy cooking and watching American series a lot. My current place will only be till 24th Nov, am finding a place to move in by 13th Nov, nothing earlier cause I have exams to deal with. If you have anything to offer, please feel free to contact me through the messaging system here :)
Hi everyone. I am moving to the city to work a 2 month bank contract from mid November to the end of January. Due to the long hours I need to be somewhere close to the city. I will be rarely home and on some weekends I will be back in the outer suburbs where I currently reside. I am easy going and stay clean and tidy. I am a foodie and in my free time would love exploring Melbourne and the foodie culture.
We're Heidi and Nick, we're 28 and 22 and are from the UK, we're currently living on the Gold Coast and are moving to Melbourne on the 2nd November. We need somewhere to move in right away when we arrive and want to be close to the city centre and tram. We're pretty quiet and mega chilled out, we don't drink and enjoy cooking and heading out at weekends, we've done flatshares before so are respectful of everyone else, plus we're clean and always tidy up after ourselves. We are looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax after a days work, we enjoy a chat and are really friendly. We will both be working full time. The only requirement we have is use of our own bathroom, and a nice clean place! Please let us know if you think you have something suitable :)
Hey I'm Chase. I'm 19 yo, a very laid-back guy who enjoys video games, netflix and music after a long day. I'm currently studying aviation at the moment and I've been living in Aus for about 1.5 year from now. I'd consider myself an introvert but I'm still very interested in making friends even though I'm a considerate and quiet person.
I am very easy to live with, as long as I have a bed long enough for me and decent company I will be alright. I am working in short term jobs to save up a little and enjoy Melbourne for at least one month from now. I‘m a medical student in Germany but I am taking a one year break to visit friends here in Australia from my boardinghouse time in Tasmania. I have a few friends in Melbourne from that time as well, but they sadly dont have enough space to host me for a longer stay. I hope to meet great new housemates soon.
Hello, I'm Taufan. I'm looking for place to stay in Melbourne during my first year of Working Holiday. I would like to find a nice place to stay and friendly flatmates. I'm an open-minded, well-organized, clean person, and very fond of meeting new friends. I would like to share a few drinks in the end of the week or day :p, I do traveling so, I look forward meeting new friends who like to travel too. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any teamups or any place to share.
Hi everyone, Adrick here, 27 studying nursing at the moment. Clean, tidy, open minded and easy going person. I love to diving , hiking, yoga, pretty sport person and love to travel. ***UPDATED AD FOR NEXT YEAR FEB*** I know it seems early but recent few months experiences taught me to prepare WAY ahead - so this is a listing for a place from NEXT YEAR February. Okay. Here's a brief of myself! :) I'm a working professional for 8 years in Hong Kong. Just decided to take a break in career and moved to Melbourne in July for my master study. I'm both outgoing (ie. sporty) and enjoy the peaceful moments at home (ie. a movie). Food and wine lover but not into parties and don't smoke. It's a pretty long lease so here's what I'm looking for: 1) fully furnished home please! 2) spacious bedroom with bed configuration, mattress, built in wardrobe, study desk. 3) Own/ ensuite bathroom. 4) large windows with plenty of sunlight (ie. north-facing room) 5) in a leafy and airy area but walking distance to cafes and restaurants! 6) A place called home should be neat and clean... I am a pretty tidy person ;) Open to look for flatmate(s) sharing similar habit / value. Love animals but prefer a dog than a cat if he/she has one. ;D
My name is Lucas, I'm 21 years old and from Stuttgart, Germany. I just finished my bachelor degree in business administration and business law, which sounds more boring than it actually is. Now I have the possibility to do a 6-month internship at Mercedes Benz HQ starting on October 2nd. As a roommate I'm very easy to have, clean and always up for cooking together and going out to party. Feel free to contact me:)!
Hi, I am an exchange student from Malaysia. An ambivert. Would really appreciate a neat and tidy place to stay in the city or the suburbs near the city. Seeking for a mutual respect of privacy. I would also love to have great conversations with my flatmates and looking forward to making friends of a lifetime! Looking for housemates preferably with a balance of both genders or a tidy and mature roommate. Fun fact: Badminton is one of my favorite sports!
Hey guys, I'm a student/musician currently working part time, easy going, respectful and don't stress over the small stuff.. I've recently moved from my own place on Phillip Island so have a houseful of furniture in storage if needed. Looking for a room big enough for a queen bed, desk and some music gear, I like to cook, gym/yoga, drink red, Seinfeld and chill:)
FLEXIBLE MOVE DATE! Can move anywhere from Jan 1st to Feb 14th. Hey all, looking for a new house and new people! I'm a 20 year old student currently studying engineering and science at monash while also working part time. Personally, I'm a mad swans supporter, I'm heavily invested in a few sports and can (and will) talk endlessly about footy! I'm also pretty passionate about a lot of shows, movies, music, and most importantly, alcohol. Despite being an only child, I love a busy and social house, getting home and being able to have a chat and a drink with great people is my favourite thing about share houses! I thinks that's everything? Shoot me a message if there's ever anything you want to know! I look forward to meeting you :)
Respectful independent Canadian, seeking accommodation. I study psychology and I'm involved with work in the mental health sector. I also run a graphic design business.
Hi guys, I'm Stephen and I'm on the lookout for a place to stay which has easy access to my work in Richmond. Easy going, loves peaceful chilling around the house but also time out with friends. Music is a big part of my life, as is food with one burger minimum a week a requirement for life. Always happy to help around the house to maintain a comfortable living environment.
My name is Bido and Im looking for a place to stay for a long term. I am an interior designer, I am 30years of age and I am a gay male. I work full time in Cremorne area. I'm a 28-year-old working in sports media looking for a place with one or two people to live with for about 9-12 months. I have lived by myself, with a few different housemates in my own house and currently live in a share house. Easygoing, keen to meet new people and have a good homely vibe with a housemate, and most importantly I am clean. Send me a message if that sounds something like what you're looking for
Hey everyone! My name is Caitlyn and I'm currently looking to move into the inner east area to be closer to work (currently living in Brunwick). I'm a recent graduate from Bond uni in the Goldy, but originally from the States (not a Trump supporter). I work full time as a physio and occasionally as a doughnut girl...so I can get you doughnuts and then rehab you back to health. I'm looking to settle into a home for a while as I've moved quite a lot in recent years so would be keen as well for a team up and a fresh start. Also would prefer an unfurnished room. I love a good catch up, love pets, family roomie dinners, drinks here and there, and always keen on an adventure. Looking forward to chatting with you soon. Cheers! Caitlyn
Had a tonne of experience in share houses, therefore am a considerate and tidy housemate and will always pay rent on time. I am an aid worker by trade but currently in the hospitality industry because food is awesome and I love making people happy with it! I'm really easy to get along with, chilled out, and enjoy debriefing with those I live with and, if the situation calls for it, a drink and some social time together too. I love food, travel, yoga, animals and going to music festivals (all kinds). You'll like living with me because I promise I'll make you laugh. When I'm not making you cry. Ok bye!
I am really laid back and enjoy a chat with almost anyone, I can make friendships with people with ease. I generally stick to myself enough that I can smash out my uni assignments. I enjoy a beer and a chat with my friends and hope to make a few friends as well as have housemates who I can rely on to clean and maintain a cohesive living space.
I'm a chilean freelance designer/artist who decided to take another route in his life, looking for new expectations and experiences; call it a place to belong :) . I'm calm, tranquil and can chat about any kind of subject in particular so I can know more about others, cultures and chances to take. I'm a tidy and organized person, taking only what I need as tools to prepare myself for everything ahead. I like simple sports, like jogging, 3D art, videogames, literature, chatting about anything in life and learning whatever I'm taught from others just to spend a good time.
HI guys , we are Roberto and Vittoria from Italy, we are a really nice , clean, friendly and tidy couple searching for a safe place to spend our time after work , where we can relax and enjoy our free time. Roberto is studying theatre in Melbourne while Vittoria will travel a little bit around the country in the next months. We are very respectful about privacy , space and the rules of the house. We like going to the gym and doing sports in general and having a beer or a glass of wine with housemates. cheers, Roberto and Vittoria
Hey I'm Alex, I'm 28 and work in social media/marketing for a uni. On to more fun things, as much as we all like to think we're unique, when writing these I realise I'm very much not that unique. I like hanging out with friends, going out, but also like a good Netflix/Stan binge sesh too. Really into music and do some freelance music journalism too so I sometimes have spare +1's to some great gigs (think The Wombats, Jimmy Eat World, Grouplove, Foo Fighters, British India, San Cisco, Alison Wonderland, Temper Trap, Allday etc) around Melbourne. Love checking out live stand up comedy too and going to the movies. I used to work at a cinema for 8 years so despite how expensive it is I just can't stop going to see movies at the cinema. Really into sports, mainly AFL, soccer, basketball and then cricket in summer but don't mind tennis, baseball, ice hockey when it is on. That being said I unashamedly like a lot of (stereotypically) girly stuff like reality TV, in depth chats, rom-coms and the like. Don't see liking non 'manly' kinds of things as an issue at all to be honest. I clean up after myself, I am a great "vacuumer" (drilled in from the cinema days) and can confidently cook about 7 meals and have a crack at a few others, I mean what's wrong with cooking stir fry every time? I like to socialise with housemates and become friends but at the same time I'm pretty happy with my own company too. I also have my own friends so I'll try not to steal yours but I make no promises if they're cool, and if they give me free Calippos then I can make no promises at all. I have a car so if you don't, happy to go on grocery runs or to the bottle-o. I have very few useful things like a bed and so forth so happy to move into a furnished or unfurnished room. However what I can provide is a SodaStream (they're amazing), PS4 privileges, Harman Kardon soundsticks speakers for the lounge if needed (look them up they are super cool). I'd like to think I'm fun to live with, love to have a laugh. Working 8:30-4:30 I don't come home at random hours and make heaps of noise. And if I have a big night out I'll always try and be quiet and respectful when I come in. I'm currently crashing with my sister and husband in Balaclava and they have a baby due in Feb so I have to get out by then, but preferably by the end of November. Pretty much looking for anywhere in the east/south-east from the CBD to about Kew/Camberwell, don't want to live in Burwood where I work because as you'll know if you've been there, it's not the best. Preferences would be the following suburbs: St Kilda East/Balaclava//Windsor/Ripponlea/St Kilda/Prahran/Richmond/Caulfield/Elwood/Elsternwick/South Yarra/Armadale/Malvern.
Two very friendly and down-to-earth people looking for a change of scenery around the south eastern inner suburbs. We both work in the events industry in Prahran, with Angus working full time while I study Communications at and work part-time. We love music, coffee and socialising and have respect for personal space, cleanliness and down time. :) Happy to arrange a team-up if anyone is interested!
I'm an easy going, clean professional working 9-5. I'm pretty active and have my own things going on but i like to chill out at home and keep pretty healthy by cooking a bit but love going out for food/drinks too. I'm quite chatty and friendly and been described as very personable :-)
HI I'm Andy, Clean easy going and always up for a laugh type of guy. I'm an ambitious and goal oriented guy. I'd like to think i can add some good conversation to any household. I am interested in sport, books, music, travel, food...all the usual stuff but still like to think i am unique. Happy to chat on the phone prior to inspection if you have any concerns.

I'm also starting my part-time MBA at Melbourne Business School in September and therefore looking to move within close range to the city. I'm a very social person, enjoy the occasional drinks, playing basketball with friends, brunching on weekends etc.
My name is Annabel, I'm 22. I'll be moving to Melbourne from sydney to complete a makeup course in special effects ! Would love to move in with some chilled people who also like a good drink, food and a fun night out. But also love to lounge and relax at home. I love reality TV - soz don't watch game of thrones, burgers and cocktails. I can cook, am relatively clean, bit if a workaholic but am excited for what's to come! Yay
Moving to Melbourne to start a graduate position and looking to find a share house to meet some new friends. Originally from Brisbane but grew up in Hong Kong and am very keen to get out and see what Melbourne has to offer. Clean, tidy and very easy to get along with.
I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I've lived in share houses before and know how it goes. I always pay bills and rent on time so there's no issues there. I work in Construction Management full time, based in South Melbourne and Richmond. I'd rather live in a share house/apartment with one or two others for the social aspect. I'm not a party animal by any means but enjoy a social drink either in house or out at a bar.
I'm a 25 y.o male looking for a room in a share-house in the Inner/South-East suburbs. I work full time in retail and don't mind a place with people who prefer their own space or people who are more social. I'm into music whether it be going out to gigs or listening to albums at home. I also enjoy going out with friends and also entertaining them at home. Hoping for an average priced, comfortable home with friendly people!
Hey 👋🏼 I'm Steph, 25 and work full time in HR in the city. I grew up in Torquay but have been living in Melbourne for about 4 years now. During the week I keep things pretty low key either going to the gym or catching up with friends. On the weekend I don't mind a vino or two or catching up on my netflix. Looking for a easy going social share house ideally with a car parking space.
