I'm very easy going, relatively quiet and have reliable income to ensure I always pay bills on time. I'm always up for a good chat, love getting to know new people and respect peoples privacy. Grew up in the snowy mountains so I love snowboarding and cold weather. Lived a few years in Canberra playing rugby league and studying full-time, and I'm very excited for a new chapter in my life. I love keeping fit, coffee and all sport.
Hey all I'm a PhD student at UoN and the University of Zurich in Switzerland. Born in Athens raised in Berlin, I've lived in Zurich for the past ten years and had the chance to follow my professor to the other side of the world to do my research (history). I've been in Newcastle since February and I'd love to move closer to the beaches. In my ten years as a student I had lots of great experiences sharing places (out of those, a few weren't exactly great). I know what it takes to be a flatmate. I'm not very good at small talk but I'm a good listener. Sometimes, after a couple of drinks you'll have to shut me up though. I keep my stuff clean and tidy. I'm absolutely OK with cleaning regularly as long as we take turns or everyone does her/his part. Usually I go to the library, sometimes I like to work at home, sometimes I work on weekends as well and sometimes I don't feel like any of that. I get up relatively early and I need my sleep, so quiet weekday evenings would be nice. In my spare time I like to read and I love cooking. I don't know if I prefer coffee over tea, so I drink both. I try to keep exercising regularly but sometimes other stuff comes up... Oh yes, and I am engaged. So every 2-3 months I'm going to Zurich to be with my fiancée and hang out with my sister, visit friends etc. (Being able to sublet my room while I'm away would be a nice extra. But I'll live if that's a problem.) I'd like to move in sometime around mid September, maybe a little earlier. A furnished room would be welcome. Oh, and I want to live in a real shared flat, not some weird pseudo-shared place run and controlled by a landlord that chooses the flatmates. Feel free to ask if I forgot to mention anything. -m.
I'm not only funny and will care about my future housemate a whole bunch, I have this thing with clean kitchens and bathrooms. I work and study in hospitality and generally do 5 night shifts a week. However, on the precious nights off I do get, I like to have a few drinks (maybe a bottle of wine). And on mornings where I don't snooze my alarm 500 times, I like going to yoga or for a nice walk. Ideally looking to live with one other person who has good music taste, eats good food, and is an all rounded good person. I moved back in with my family about 6 months ago to save some dollars, but I need my independence back (help me)!
I am currently in my final year of University and my current lease runs out at the end of the year! I will be working full time next and have a lovely kitten called Sylvia! If someone is in a similar situation and is looking for someone later in the year I would be happy to apply for a house/apartment together! I am a non-smoker who is clean, tidy and considerate. I am friendly and outgoing and would be happy to live with someone working or studying!
Ahoy! What you got here is a man who works full time as a mechanic in town. Pretty easy, no dramas at all, living active doin a lil bit of basketball, road biking, running and volunteering. There will be plenty of laughs if you find my humor funny at all. I do appreciate the idea of respect and cleanliness. Not a player so Id prefer longer arrangements. You can figure the rest later. Holla at me. Lemo
Hi :) I'll be moving to the area soon after finishing up my job in Sydney. I'm a great cook and I think I'm hilarious, I like to socialise but I also appreciate my own time as well. Animal person! I am currently working full time in western Sydney until the end of this month. Needed a change and I used to live in Newcastle area so I'm keen to move back. Would much prefer to live with another female. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
Hey, I'm looking for a room preferably in a great sharehouse.. not a mediocre one. To give you some background on me - I'm currently staying at a family friends place in Hamilton after moving back from living in the UK. I've previously lived in Newcastle while I was studying a social science degree so I've got quite a few friends in the area and like to stay busy. I am currently working full time 9 - 5 in a government job and studying a masters of public health part time. I've lived for 7 years in share houses so I know how to live respectfully and communally and I enjoy meeting new people. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Lauren.
I'm Erin, I'm almost 20 years old (in December), I study a bacehlor of Social Work full-time and although I'm currently unemployed I am looking for work. I've lived out of home for over a year now. I am clean and responsible and very respectful of others. Because I go on prac February next year, I'll barely be around, only at nights and weekends.
Hey guys, I am Brodie, I am a 22 year old Youth Worker. I enjoy the beach and enjoying the sunshine. I like to have drinks every now and then but am definitely not a big partier. I don't mind having gatherings sometimes though :) I am mostly home during the day and enjoy reading and watching Netflix. On the weekends I am working but when I am not working I like a sneaky wine or beer and socialising! I am happy to move out with someone who is like-minded, tidy and relaxed. I am happy to meet new people and to have your friends over too :) I have a boyfriend who will be around mostly on the weekends :)
I'm tidy, love going for coffee. I'm a business dev guy for a local publication. I'm easy going, and a creative person and once started a podcast that received over 30,000 downloads. I also volunteer for Orange sky laundry.
Hi potential house buddy, I recently moved from Mornington Peninsula (Vic) to Newcastle for work. Fun, friendly, down to earth, young for age and handy in the kitchen so maybe we'll share the odd dinner together. Will be away 1-2 nights a week with work. Enjoy a good red and banter and will be outdoors (diving and/or sailing and/or kayaking) on weekends, and away say 50% weekends. Currently friendless locally but it doesn't take long via the sailing/diving scene. I am moving into a furnished apartment at Stockton on 18 Aug 2017 which is booked for 4 weeks but happy to move into a more permanent abode anytime in September. My housemates would be a bit older than the average person on this site, say 35+, and friendly, working and active (not a total home bod). Ideally the pad will be close to the water and cafes and mid-up market and more likely a house than a unit. Outlook is important so a view and/or garden is important. Have most of the kitchen stuff and lots of toys (kayak, dive gear, fishing gear, outdoor stuff). I have culled most of the furniture as part of a fresh start strategy and happy to chip in a few K to help deck out the pad. Ideally looking for a spacious existing home or a team up with 1-2 compatible prof/semi prof people and get a place. Hopefully speak soon, cheers Kieran
I am friendly, easy going, tidy, independent. I like my own space but also like to be social. I am a morning person, I like to do yoga and I walk a lot. I am a vegetarian and enjoy eating out. I don't drink or party much. I am single and work 2 jobs, a day and night job so not home much. :)
Love to laugh, very easy going. I love the out doors, hiking, biking and camping. Love music and slightly artistic. Currently working 9-6, I like a good chin wag aswell as doing my own thing. Neat and tidy, decent in the kitchen and always up for beer, pizza and Decent movie. Looking to move back into Newcastle after living and travelling overseas, would love to find some roomies that don't mind a schnitty at the pub now and then and chilling at home after work.
Hi! I'm Ariel and I'm currently a PhD student. I'm super friendly and tidy, and have a sweet mature French bulldog named Jinny. I grew up in country NSW before moving to Newy. I love dabbling in anything arty, chilling at home with some Netflix and doggy cuddles. I work crazy hours, but always up for a chat!
