I'm a future student at Monash who's moving from Dubai to Melbourne. 1) I'm a 25 year old straight guy (Not homophobic) 2) English is my primary language, I'm relaxed and easy going, I'm neat, clean and very outdoorsy (Biking, trekking, exploring). Doesn't mean I don't love movies and TV shows :D. 3) If I borrow, I always return. I carry my own weight and I will never pay late. (That rhymes :p) 4) I'm agnostic not atheist (Religion and I leave each other alone). I'm more of a "follow morals, ethics and logic" kinda guy. 5) Not opposed to having people over at our place but at the same time, it's not a frat house. I'm gona be flying to Melbourne at the end of June. Please let me know if I can stay with you! :D Thanks!
Hi! I am Karim from France. I am engineer in apprenticeship and I will be in Melbourne for my work starting from June (3rd). Hello! Full time receptionist at a health club in the cbd. Personal hobbies include gym training, outdoors activities (camping, hiking, four-wheel driving, skiing, etc), cooking, all things food, craft beer and coffee! Very down to earth individual who is bordering OCD with cleanliness and takes pride in maintaining my environment. Not much of a party animal these days, although a big fan of the odd dinner party with friends :)
Hello, my name is Saurabh Bammi i'm studying Masters in Accounting and will be finishing in June. After June i will be working full time. I'm a 27 year old Perth girl making the Melbourne move mid June. I'm looking for a house share central to the CBD with close public transport. Ideally in South Melbourne but also open to other areas! Keen to move in with 2-3 people of a similar age, males or females. I work in marketing and I'm currently freelancing for a client in WA. I'll be looking for full time work in Melbourne but my freelancing will keep me going until then. I'm easy going, friendly, clean and tidy. I'm really excited to move to Melbourne to meet new people and experience all the reasons us Perth kids hit up the big cities - restaurants, bars, art galleries etc etc. I'm a non smoker so not keen for a smoking house. Looking for a place mid June - mid July onwards (I have a friend's housemate's room during that time but am flexible). Looking for social and relaxed housemates who would be keen to cook up a house meal together every now and then! Happy to live with any males or females of similar age who are clean, tidy, respectful and easy going. I've got friends already living in Melb but ideally would love some housemates that are keen to explore the city and state with me :) Hope to hear from you if I fit the bill! Ps. Flexible re time of stay 3,6,12 months +
I'm a student looking for a place to stay before the official start date of my own apartment. I enjoy quiet activities like reading or sketching, but occasionally I like to go out on long walks when the day seems nice. I'm tidy and also a decent cook - so hit me up if you're sick, and I can make you some warm soup.
I'm trying to put together a group to move to the South East somewhere within a 30 minute bikeride of Monash Uni Clayton, Chadstone Shopping Centre and also within a 10 minute ride to a train station on the Pakenham/Cranbourne line. There are a few really lovely houses in Caulfield, Carnegie, Hughesdale, Murrumbeena, Oakleigh, Clayton + surrounds. We're looking to create a tight-nit household full of lovely people who care about each other and have common goals and beliefs about how life should be. As it stands right now, there are 3 of us! Me, my partner Krysten and my best friend Martin! For a four bedroom house we'd love to have either two more couples or a couple and a single to fill the remaining two rooms totaling 6 or 7 people. As for financials: if the total rent is $550/week and it's split by room: we will be looking at an average rent of around $135/room. a bit about us: Music, Love and Cats are the three pillars that hold up this world. The world lies on a 420° angle. Some other keywords include doggos, vidya games, guitars, bands, cycling, queer/polyamory, deathmetal, gardening, firepits, communism, house parties, goonbags pegged on the hills hoist and fairy lights everywhere. Please send me a message if you would like to chat! We're trying our best to move within the next two weeks as of 25th May
I am a 30 yo working professional looking to move closer to bayside in a social environment. Consider myself clean, fun, active and easy going. Am happy to share the odd meal, drink and have a laugh but am respectful of others privacy at the same time.
I'm clean and tidy and have been staying in shared house for few years by now. Enjoy cooking, drinking with friends, outdoor sports, reading and watching some movie. Hit me up if i sound like your kind of housemate!
Hello there Melbourne peeps my name is Lucie. I'm looking for a place to live. I'm a friendly, tidy woman. I'm not a party animal but good for a chat with a glass of red and a cheese platter. I like foreign films, bikeriding and I'm a foodie. I'm very reliable when it comes to money, I have had utilities in my name before and been responsible for dividing bills, any of my former housemates will affirm. I'm looking for a place with at least one woman living there and maximum 3 people including me. Good heating is very important to me, coming from Queensland :) Also a place with wifi and is fully furnished but I do have my own bedroom furniture. Also no offence to anyone but I'd prefer a place where there no smokers or pets. I'm pretty solid really. Looking forward to meeting you cheers Lucie
I have just moved to Melbourne to complete my PhD at Monash Uni. I am an international student, originally from the UK but have spent the last ten years living and working in Papua New Guinea. I am easy going, quiet and a very tidy person. I enjoy running, cycling and going to the gym. When I am not being active I enjoy winding down by sharing a glass of wine with friends.
My finace and I are looking for a place to rent between 4th June to the end of August. We are in Australia on a working holiday visa from the UK, planning on working in Melbourne before our visa ends and will then travel for a few more months before we have to return back to England to our jobs. In the UK I am a high school teacher and James is a kitchen manager. We are extremely tidy and easy going, looking for a place near to the CBD. Thank :-)
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally

Hi, I'm Astrid, a 31-year old neuroscientist. I worked as a research fellow at Monash University until January and have been traveling around Southeast Asia since then. However, I will come back to Australia at the end of May and I am looking for a room in a nice flatshare near Melbourne (no location preference atm). I am currently preparing for a career move, i.e. I'm preparing applications while studying on the side. I also spend as much time as possible in the gym so you don't have to worry about me being at home all day. I'm a reliable, quiet and clean flatmate. At this point I can't tell for sure how long I will be staying (4+ weeks) so I'm looking for someone who is flexible in this regard. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers
*Currently looking for team up people or places with two rooms on offer* Hi, I'm Llewellyn (or Lewy for short). I'm Australian, currently sharing a place in Carlton, which will likely get sold in a couple months. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. While at home, I enjoy cooking (usually while listening to music), washing dishes from said cooking, watching TV/Movie while eating the result of the cooking (ideally with others if they're around. My list of movies that I never got around to watching is significant, so I'd be a good candidate for a regular movie night. I also enjoy card games/board games/video games, so if we ever have friends/visitors over, I'm your guy for Cards Against Humanity and other entertainment. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated. Ideally looking to live with 1 to 2, maybe 3 other people. Oh, and I also have a Costco Membership, so score for you guys!
We are 2 adults (in our 30s), professionals trying to get a job in our field (Advertisment and Bussines Adminsitration), but in the meanwhile working as a Cleaner and Hospitality. We have experience sharing houses and we had many bad experiences because some flat-mates are not clean enough for us. We are very clean and tidy. Polite and friendly, those kind of guys who likes making new friends, sharing meals (we like cooking) and having chats when we arrive at home. We are very quiet during the week, and on weekends like to hang-out with friends for a couple of beers. We both have been living, last year, in Denmark with a Danish family. We worked there and saved some money to come to the beautiful Australia. I have been also living in New Zeland 3 years ago.
Hi! I'm from Singapore and am studying a degree in Advertising at RMIT city campus.🙂 Generally i consider myself to be a tidy and quiet person during uni days and will prolly be camping in my room doing uni work or just on netflix most times so you can expect me to be respectful of your privacy. I smoke occasionally from time to time and also like to party every now and then. I love a mad hang/drinks session with mates and absolutely love pets. Ideally i would like to find a FURNISHED room and a place where i can call home and can hang out in the lounge room with cool house mates watching netflix etc or we can cook food for each other all the time and get drunk together. (p.s i've been told i can cook some nice stuff!) i love music of all sorts really however i am particularly a fan of rock, alternative and yea so on.. you get the gist of it. My favourite band will always be Blink-182! (i promise i won't blast my music or any blink out loud all the time so you don't get too sick of me :P) Currently living in west footscray and would like to move out soon to somewhere closer ish to uni or the eastern surburbs. However i will not be in Melbourne from 19 June - 17 July as I will be back home in Singapore, therefore im looking to move out either before Mid june or after my birthday which is 15th of July. Hope to hear from you future housemates!
Hi. I'm a quiet guy who mostly keeps to himself but I have good morals, am extremely tidy and respectful of others' privacy. Looking to work in Security Industry but for now am on Centrelink benefits.
I'm currently a nurse student, studying in the city three days a week and looking for part time employment. I also have a 1 year old french mastiff who is very friendly and loveable, if you're okay with pets. I'm also independent, tidy, clean, approachable and very friendly! Always up for a chat and an outing, but also like those quiet nights in!
