-CLEAN, QUIET AND TIDY are the 3 adjectives that would summarize myself- Hi Guys, Thanks for stopping by my profile My name is Tychus and I am a junior doctor who has just started working at Princess Alexandra Hospital. I am originally from Indonesia but have been in Australia since the age of 19. Currently, 27 y.o and have practically lived in share houses since the age of 17 – therefore I definitely am aware of the ins and outs of living with other people and more than happy to share house works. Other things about me: - Friendly and considerate - Respect others’ privacy - Predictable schedule (Sleep, Work, Exercise, Study / except on Sunday where I’d go to church) - Definitely not a party person. I enjoy a quiet peaceful home and a friendly housemate. - I don’t really invite people home but not because I am arrogant! It is because I am currently studying for my specialist exam =) - Don’t drink nor smoke I do not have pet nor a car. However, I do plan to get a bike. I am looking for a long term accommodation (1 year minimum) and would really love to live with people with the similar attributes. If you think that id fit into your lovely home, please do let me know and I would love to arrange a meet up. Thanks for reading guys and I would love to hear back from you. Kind regards, Tychus
Hi, I'm a professional working in the Brisbane CBD looking to find someone to share with one or two others in a central location. I'd prefer to meet someone to find a place together, but happy to move into an existing property if the fit is right. Selling points for Michael include: - Clean and tidy, no stranger to a vacuum cleaner; - Produces baked goods for you from time to time; - Can bring along a high quality lounge suite; - Friendly, but happy to give you your space; - I won't always be just hanging around the house; - Comes with access to his Stan subscription. I'd appreciate meeting one or two like-minded, reasonably tidy people to share with. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further, I'm happy to meet for coffee/apartment hunting.
I'm currently studying Business at UQ St Lucia so preferably i would like something reasonably close to the campus. I'm a rather quiet person who spends most of their time studying, watching movies or seeing friends. I enjoy nearly all sports and i'm quite active myself. I drink socially and do not smoke. Apologies for the photo it didn't turn out well at all, i'm the one on the left (obviously).
Banter on point. Moving to Brisbane for studies (to be a teacher!) I'm outgoing, humorous and a huge DC geek. Apart from that i'd love enjoying life getting drinks with a couple of mates over the weekend or simply just netflix with homecooked food.
flexible move in date (anytime before Feb 20th) currently in Melbourne looking for accommodation in QLD 2nd year Psychology student at UQ, work at Coles quiet and tidy, but do enjoy going out on weekends no pets, non-smoker
I'm quiet, responsible and keep to myself. I do enjoy a drink or a night out occasionally but most of the time I love my private space. However I'd love to help out with anything if you need. I'm a graduate teacher but currently working part-time at UQ, will be looking for a teaching job next year.
Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time and soon to be studying part-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something close to the city, preferably close to public transport. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. I have a car so some sort of parking is necessary (even if it is street). Flexible with move-in timing. Ideally looking for own bathroom and a smaller number of roommates. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me. Please don't call, I check this site each night so if you message I will see your listing. Thanks :)
Hi I'm Japanese female on working holiday visa. I'm looking for own room which is maxmum $160 /pw. I'd happy to live a place close to some grocery store which I can walk. I'm looking for a modern 4 bedroom house/apartment around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Newmarket, Milton, Herston, Spring Hill, and Red Hill, anywhere close to the city really. I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Hi :) I'm Kat. I'm a 24 year old, working full-time in the city for a consultancy firm. I'm a pretty laid back sort of person and very clean - bit of a coffee addict, love my wine & cheese, interested in any thing art or design related. I am looking for a place to start renting ASAP, ideally for 4-6 months, and an ensuite.
Hello, I'm about to study at Southbank TAFE and want to move a bit closer. So working full time and studying, you probably won't see much of me ! But I am an affable, good willed, positive minded (and modest ??) person that takes pride in the things I do.
Hi, my name is Rose. I'm a 22 year old student currently completing a post grad in Senior Music Education. My partner is 28 years old and works full time as a quantity surveyor in Brisbane city. We're both easy to get along with and are respectful of our housemates and the house itself. Please don't hesitate to message me to find out more!
I am an 18-year-old male, studying Commerce at UQ only transferring from Griffith on the Gold Coast this year. I am a very social person and will easily get along with anyone in the house. I do have respect for personal space and like to knuckle down and study. I have been brought up to always pull your weight within the household and depend on my living space being clean and functional. I currently work behind a bar on the southern GC, but have spent some time on the tools as well - only strengthening my appreciation and empathy for understanding every ones circumstances. I absolutely love to surf (fitting into the GC stereotype very easily) and have played soccer for several years. I love to keep fit and always am trying something new. I am quite open and enjoy talking about anything, one of the reasons I find University so interesting, and the appeal of a share house with other like-minded people.
Hey guys, looking for a room in a share house that will fit a queen bed and possibly a study desk and clothing rack (or come with walk ins). I'm a mature, friendly and studious pharmacy student also working casually at a pharmacy. I'm a vegetarian but living alongside meat eaters doesn't bother me. I'm very rarely home, but am up for drinks or a chat when I am. My hobbies include cooking or baking, movies, making things, swimming, exploring new places... If you think I sound like someone that would fit into your home, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 24 looking to make the move to Brisbane from SA. I'm into a healthy active lifestyle. I rarely drink, total homebody. Respectful, tidy and like to keep to myself a lot but also looking to make some friends! Sorry I'm allergic to cats.
Female working professional, clean, neat and tidy. Respectful of others privacy, but also enjoy chats and a drink where convenient for others. Love to cook, so happy to make a meal or two for others. Open minded, have lived and worked around the world. No baggage or drama. Just loving life. Will be travelling quite a bit later this year for work and looking for that "Zen" place I can call home. Contact me for more information. I am also flexible with move in or out times but prefer a longer stay.
About me, I am a French girl from the Caribbean. I was living in a share house of 7 international people in South Bank before my 2 month holidays in France this Christmas. I am a very tidy girl, friendly and open minded. I love cooking (and sharing it!), reading novels (SF, Fantasy, Thriller), watching movies. I like having a drink or two with my housemates. About what I am doing nowadays, I've just finished my Master at Griffith Film School in November and I have 2 short films in post-production that I need to finish. My majors are screenwriting and directing.
I'm an international student commencing a course at UQ this Feb and have just finished my bachelor degree in Adelaide (so will be moving to Brisbane). I'm a clean, easy going person, love to be engaged in housemate vibes but also appreciate some alone time for studying. Love cooking painting and being active. Hoping to find a furnished room as it would be a hassle to ship all my furniture interstate.
Hi there. I would make a great flatmate as I have an excellent rental history. I always pay my rent and bills on time and I am neat and tidy. I am easy going and like to have a social drink on the weekends. I am usually pretty quiet during the week, but a chat and a wine after work is always nice. I currently live on the Sunny Coast, but I am moving to Brisbane as I have just accepted a new full time job. I am a professional working in the finance industry. Ideally I would very much prefer my own bathroom. I am an animal lover and OK to live with pets. My budget (to hopefully include bills) is $200 per week, but I can stretch this a bit if needed. At this stage, my proposed move date to Brisbane is the week beginning the 13th of February. Thanks for reading :)
Hows it goin, I'm Cory. I'm a Canadian from Vancouver studying kinesiology, and I'm doing an exchange at UQ for a term. Hobbies include drinkin beer, sports and music. Looking for a chill place to live in Bris from Mid feb to sometime in July. Preferably somewhere between UQ and the valley, I.e - Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, etc.
Hello ! I am Muhsine. I will be an exchange student to UQ for Semester 1,2017. I am a mathematician of 3rd grade. I adore travelling and hiking. Since I am a journalist about world cuisine in Istanbul, I love to try different recipes and enjoy going restaurants. I prefer to taste world cuisine and try to make it myself! Briefly, I really like to explore distinctive places, areas, natural beauty, and meals. I really like to watch movies and prefer to watch with my roommates! One of my favorite weekend activity is watching a movie with beer and pop-corn :) I love to go to the gym. I am doing yoga and swimming three times a week. (not an expert degree ) I am also a badminton player. We can play it or doing yoga at our backyard :) That's me ! I am looking flatmate who is enjoyable and well-adjusted. I hate untidiness! I am really tidy and clean. I expect my rommies to be clean in every part of the house. I want my flatmate to do lots of thing together and learn different hobbies! Basicaly, we should be able to talk whenever a small problem occurs. I assure that we will have an amazing time together :) Don't hesitate to message me :) Thanks a lot ! I am looking forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards....
Hi Jim. I'm studying full-time at QUT to become paramedic. I also work part-time or full-time as bartender depending on the season. Both are interesting but you get absolutely no sleep. I'm a friendly guy who likes to chat and drink with others; but when I'm home I prefer some privacy and quiet in my room to wind down (no party houses). Looking for a place close to work with easy access to public transport to the QUT campuses or city. I also have a car that I use for work , so off-street parking would be a bonus but not necessary if public transport is easily accessible. During my downtime at home I prefer reading, binge watching TV series, video gaming (headphones at night), or trying out cocktail recipes from the bar. I'm also a skilled *cough* barista, so I frequently make my own coffee at home.
Working professional looking for a share house. Ideally seeking somewhere where I can have my own ensuite/bathroom. If not, that's okay I will consider all options! Needing a place in the next 4-8 weeks, fairly flexible, I'm only moving out as my current awesome flatmate is having a baby! I enjoy traveling, fitness, hiking and bike riding. I train at the gym 4-5 nights a week and work full time as well as study so I'm not really home that much! I'm very quiet - I don't drink or smoke or party. No pets or children. Looking for the range of $130-$200 pw inclusive of bills would be perfect for me!
Hey there! We are on the hunt for a third person to team up with and find a place to live. We are looking to move towards the end of February/beginning of March. Lucy and I are both teachers. About me: I am a 22 year old female (turning 23). I have completed all my studies and now working full time in teaching (primary). I am respectful, clean and easy going. Love the occasional wine and socialise but also like my downtime as well. I live what I like to think an active and healthy lifestyle. About Lucy: Workaholic. Full time Teacher and Sports coach. Love to travel and explore new places. I enjoy trying new food places and heading out for a drink on the weekends. I'm in clean and independent but always up for a chat. Ideally, we are looking at places that are more on the modern/newer side. If you think I'll be interested in teaming up with us, please feel free to contact me. Annie
I'm an easy going, friendly and respectful tenant. Work full time Monday to Friday as a Business Analyst. When I'm not working I'm usually rock climbing or doing something active. Im equally into socialising as I am reading a book, so happy to hang out but also understand down time and respect for space. I'm looking for a furnished room, though I do have my own bedroom furniture if required. Preferably after a private bathroom/ensuite though I'm open to a shared bathroom at the right place. Also looking for a place to park my car (street parking is fine). Only after a 6 month lease at the most. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I'm currently studying my first year of Uni in Brisbane, and am looking for a place to move into ASAP! I'm extremely clean, self sufficient and friendly. I am from the South side but am in desperate need of somewhere closer to Uni, as my current situation isn't an option for much longer. In my spare time I love watching TV (Game of Thrones especially), but mostly spending time with friends.
Hey Everyone! We are Jacqui and Jade. We will be moving down to Brisbane in early Feb, before uni starts. Not picky at all... we are happy to live with anyone that is friendly, tidy and doesn't mind a chat every now and then. Most of our time will be spent studying or working. However, in our spare time we love to get active: Whether we're wake boarding, snow boarding, hiking, fishing, scuba diving or jamming out with awesome music/people.... we are there! TEAMUPS! (What we are looking for): -ideally i'd like to live in a unit close to the city: a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. Facilities including: gym, pool, A/C...etc... -another couple would be cool but no preference really ABOUT US! (couple): -I would consider ourselves to be friendly, adventurous and social... Although, we don't mind a bit of quite time. - I am studying a bachelor of business at Nathan/My partner (Jade) will be studying his honors in mechanical/electrical engineering at UQ. -Part time workers in hospitality -Human lovers (regardless of ethnicity/gender/orientation) -Pet lovers -Food lovers -Non-smokers ....Let me know if you have any more questions :)
Hello, this is Vivian I come from Asia. I currently study Nursing at southbank TAFE. As well as a part time worker! I am food lover, love tasting different style dishes, and pretty much like baking cake n share with people in leisure time:)) I am tidy, friendly and lovely haha! I do not smoke but do social drink. For improving the quality of living, I'd follow any rules in the house!
Hi my names Siobhan, I'm currently living on the Gold Coast and will be moving to Brisbane. I work in business whilst I am finishing my double degree. I'm a very clean and considerate roommate and respect others space. I'm a fun and friendly person who enjoy a glass of wine and a chat. I will always pay rent on time and always set up direct payments to ensure they are never late.
We are two friends who will be moving up to Brisbane next month.Milly is from Adelaide and is a Nurse and I'm in Property Management and originally from New York City. I have a whole house worth of furniture so happy to team up with 1-2 people (4 of us total max) to look for a place or if you have a place for rent hit us up. Looking for a 2-4 bedroom place with a balcony, a pool is greatly preferred. If you have a pet that a massive bonus. We would prefer to live with people close to our own age that are social, happy to chat, do group meals if they choose, but also know when to give people their own space. Happy to answer any and all questions.
Full time student on the Disability Support Pension awaiting an operation to get my body back into full swing. I need an unfurnished air conditioned room (although built-ins and clothes cupboards are fine), as I faint a bit from my medications, and so I can study with a fully working brain. I have bedroom furniture, a top loader laundry machine and a bar fridge for my meds and my Aromatherapy supplies as my degree is the study of Aromatherapy and the science behind it. I am passionate about my studies and create balms, lotions and perfumes often. Baby my Pussycat is very sweet, shy, and while a good rat hunter, she doesn't kill other wildlife. She is either hiding in the shade sleeping or hanging out with me, but sometimes she will get a crush on a flatmate and pay you loving attention. I am very mindful of cat hair as it makes me itchy, so I have a kick butt Dyson and I'm not afraid to use it. I don't do drugs and so don't want drugs in my home. I do love a cook up with the household and a drink to go with it. Ask if you want to know anything in particular. Thanks for looking at our blurb.
I'm a 17 year old female, turning 18 in early march, moving from a small town north of Brisbane to the (not so) big smoke, I will be studying at Griffith University (Nathan Campus). I am an avid reader and I enjoy binge watching tv shows when I get the time, which is seldom. I'm pretty laid back and easy going, and my friends parents say I am a gem, so what is not to love?
I'm a new full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017. I will be studying Environmental Management. I was studying in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before. I'm the one wearing the purple/pink sweater in the picture. If you can't pronounce my name, don't worry, almost no one can at first, just call me Abhi! I'm super tidy and clean (won't mind if it's not), and pretty good at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. I like my down time to focus and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out or have fun. Always down to watch a movie or binge watch a tv show. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any-and-everywhere. I would love to live with any of you amazing people out there, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, hit me up :D Cheers, Abhi
Hey my Name is Tarragon and I'm a 20 year old Aussie student studying Electrical Aerospace Engineering at QUT, Gardens Point. Im searching for either a room to rent, a granny flat to rent, or any type of accommodation where i have my own room, with furnishings and bills inlcuded(water, electricity, internet). Im a Tidy and respectful person, with a great attitude and very easy going personality. Im a very healthy and driven young male and love to keep fit also. Majority of the time i will stick to myself and do my own thing as my study load is quite large, but all the same looking forward to meeting new people and making some new freinds :) thankyou !!
Hi, my name is Monique. I am doing my Graduate Diploma in Teaching part time and will be working part time too. I am respectful of others, extremely clean and tidy and I dont mind having a chat and making dinner for my flatmates once in a while. I am also a very quiet person to live with and I enjoy living in a quiet home. I am very friendly but I like my own space too. I am happy to help with cleaning and I am reliable with paying rent and bills. Ideally I would like to live in a nice suburb in Brisbane, close to the action. I live a healthy lifestyle and would love to find similar people to share with. If you have something that is suitable, please drop me a line. Currently, I live on the Sunshine Coast, but looking to make the move to Brisbane for work and Uni purposes.
Hey! I'm Emily, 20 years old and a student. I study at QUT and am a second year Secondary Education student majoring in History. I work part time at an Outside School Hours Care in Moggill and at Suncorp Stadium as Bar Staff. I'm friendly and quiet but still happy to be social with my new roomies. I've lived in share houses for four years and have shared with lots of different people, all ages, genders and nationalities. I'm an animal lover so pets are no issue for me, I'd say they're encouraged :) I'm looking for a place with easy access to public transport (specifically train stations or the 444 bus) and an unfurnished room is a must as I have a queen sized bed, desk and other miscellaneous bits of furniture and preferably somewhere air-conditioned because I am a wuss and this Brisbane heat is getting to me. I've joined a gym and attempt to go often but it usually ends in completing my Gilmore Girls binge on Netflix, my favourite pastime. I'm way too excited for Game of Thrones to return this year and roommates who watch it with me are encouraged to message me. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter. I can be a little flexible with the move date and am happy to overlap for a week or two if the right place comes along, If you want to know anything else just shoot me a message, I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions :) I'm happy to live with people in their 20s/early 30s, male or female houses don't bother me, students would be great so we can all suffer together at exam time! Not looking to share a bedroom though. (The easiest way to contact me is through flatmates rather than a phone call as I'm often working or won't pick up unknown numbers)
Hello there, my partner and I are looking to move to any southside areas in Brisbane 6months min. We've been living in Southbank the past year but are now seeking to move as I've finished my studies and looking for a second job and for my partner to continue her secondary studies and work. We are happy to negotiate and accommodate pricing, we are looking for an average to large size room, preferably that can hold at minimum a queen bed & study desk. We are both mostly out as we love to exercise, go to events and do photography. 22 years old, easygoing and fun person who works full time.I'm a respectful housemate, very clean and tidy, who knows how to have a good time but also enjoys a night in. I will not live with you if you have a messy kitchen or bathroom. Independent person looking for a private room, but still wants to live in a friendly place, not just share the same roof. Looking to move as soon as possible for at least a 6 month stay :)
Hi there the names Rhys Branch, a future student at UQ and currently work for telstra (if you hate telstra im sorry), i am looking for short term acoomodation in the central brisbane area but im pretty easy and felxible about the location. I am 19 years old im easy as to get along with and even easier to please, really felixible and keen to try new things with some new roommates, the move in date is anytime after january 30th.
Im a relaxed guy who is looking for a nice place to live with males or females. I'll be working, studying so looking for a pleasant, clean place to call home. I play soccer so am training most nights and have a game every weekend. I love to have fun and be spontaneous but not looking for a rowdy party house cos I also like my sleep. This feels like I'm writing a dating app profile. Any questions, hit me up.
I love having a few drinks with friends on weekends but also recognise the need for privacy and ⌚ out. I really enjoy trying new things and finding out about new friends. I am in the SES so storm season can mean I'm not around much, and I take time to see my parents and keep in touch with family. A geek, a nerd (my own observations), somewhat stubborn with a ♥ of gold (others observations).
First year university student moving to Brisbane from Far North Queensland to start studying biomedical science at UQ. Just looking for a place, preferably furnished, where I can stay until June when I m going to be moving in with my sister. I don't mind parties but tend not to host them (so don't worry about that) and I spend a lot of time locked in my room trying force myself to study. I am however a sociable person and do enjoy a good discussion and can cook a few basics (I'm still learning). I consider myself mature and responsible, and will aim to keep the place tidy. I'm fairly friendly and outgoing but respect other people's privacy. I love to read, try to keep fit (but goodness knows I lack the motivation), and enjoy a variety of activities from hiking to binge watching Netflix. I'm very open minded and would love a flatmate or two who are nice and easy going.
Myself and friend Chris are two professionals who work together. We are looking for somewhere nice, close to work as our base of operations :) Clean, tidy and responsible.
Hi! I'm from Los Angeles, California and starting a PhD at Griffith Uni. I've house shared for a long time and am pretty easy to live with- also social, clean, and respectful of space. I'm an animal lover (I foster kittens regularly) and like to cook/enjoy a glass of wine or a beer during the evenings. I like exploring new places and enjoy all things outdoors (weekend hiking is my favorite!). I'm hoping to find a place where I can become friends with the flatmates more so than just living among each other (so prefer similar age flatmates; no families). I plan to get a car in the next couple months so let me know if parking is an issue. If it seems like I'd be a good fit to your place/household, don't hesitate to contact me!
Hiya, my name is Charlotte, I am 21. I study psychology but I'm currently deferred while I work and save to travel. I'm a vegan, and a big fan of cooking for people if you wanna have a cheeky bond over some food. I do smoke, but never inside. Can promise to bring with me some cute furniture, an interesting dad record collection, and some slightly wilted but still living (just) plants. Fave hobbies include approaching other people's dogs while they're trying to have a nice breakfast without interruption, and discussing how Wham! was probably the only good pop music ever. PS: My facebook account exists but is blank as I've decided to try and distance myself from social media, and I don't have instagram. I'm not shady I promise.
