Hi, my name is Marina. I'm Japanese uni student and taking a gap year for working holiday. I do love music and movie, it might sounds boring tho... I enjoy trying new things, getting to know people who have different background and sharing cultures. I've studied in Newcastle for a year before, but I decided to come back to Australia again since I do love Australia. And this time I’m planning to work part time and do some internships. Thank you!!!!!
I'm doing Bachelor of Psychological Science in UQ (first-year uni). New to Brisbane, originally from Shanghai, China. I'm tidy, easy-going and respectful for others' personal space. I enjoy cooking and also love dinning out and travelling.
Hello my name is Paige. I'm a very laid back person who loves the outdoors , especially being at the beach and movie nights. I enjoy my own personal space but always up for a chat and a laugh 😊 Huge animal lover even though mine will be back home, open to adventure day hikes and looking for work in my field of study as animals scientist
Hi Everyone, I am moving to Corporate, part of my duress is that I have to find something that I like from out at a remote Construction Site. I am due back in Brisbane on the 6th of April and I have 9 days off prior to my start date in Brisbane on the 16th, I would love to find/be in contact with someone before I fly in on the 6th to arrange a viewing and make a commitment then and there etc, pending all parties are happy. ABOUT ME- I need to grow up and have a base. I am a single woman that is coming off FIFO work and heading for Corporate environment. I am an avid reader, budding pilot, love food/wine/coffee, travel and planning holidays (love this immensely), finding a good steak (cattle station girl), stockmarket and love getting dressed up for a good night out, considering my job was in jeans and steel caps! I try to be a bit of a gym addict as well :). WHAT RESIDENTIAL AREA/S AM I INTEREST IN- Prefer housing in areas close to public transport or short walk to there (as no vehicle). Areas interested in - Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane, Spring Hill and CBD... etc- areas close by to the city life and gym franchises or gyms in general within walking distance (with my type of work (project) early/late hours maybe be required frequently and would rather be in walking distance to my office (CBD)). WHAT TYPE OF TENANT/ROOM MATE/RENTER DO I SEE MYSELF AS- - I quiet, responsible and clean. - I am a non-smoker, non-party animal and have no pets. - I am active and like to cook (still teaching myself). I like a good laugh and have a sense of humor, I don't mind having a drink from time to time and have an extroverted personality. - I respect peoples belongings and boundaries. RANDOM PARTICULARS- - Ideally I am interested in sharing accommodation with one or two male/s (not that I am against renting with females, I just tend to get along better with the opposite sex), within or around the same age group (27-37) (Not into a frat house scenario or young hooligans partying insistently) Please note - I am not into uni accommodation or shared housing where there is 2+ people to a single room. - I currently do not possess a vehicle however have a license. - Part of living a nomadic live for the majority of my life I do not own any furnishings, however not opposed to purchasing such things, however at this point in time highly interested in furnished (fully/partial) establishments. - Prefer to possibly team up with another renter and rent a property to a mutual liking. Thank you Cassandra
I am an easy going person who likes to spend their weekends relaxing and hanging out with freinds. Im a neat and tidy and enjoy like minded people who dont mind a chat. Im in my 20’s and work full time for a sales company.
Hey Everyone! I am looking for a nice place in Brisbane preferably close to CBD. i am working full-time hours in a restaurant on Eagle Street pier and mostly work evenings. I am a very outgoing and social person and would love to go out and do things with my housemates, but need my quiet time every now and again as well. I have lived im a sharehouse for the last 4 years so I know how to clean after myself and respect other housemates. I like to bake as well mainly cakes and pastries, so an oven would be a really good thing to have. I would love to find a house with other social people. I have no preference regarding gender, nationality or any of that kind I get along with everyone :) I am Dutch for anyone that would like to know and before Australia i was travelling the Phillipines and Indonesia.
Hi I have currently moved to Brisbane working full time. I work at the airport therefore, looking for a place closer to Airport but very flexible. I am not a party person and prefer sharing with females. I enjoy outings and relaxed atmosphere on days off. If you think I could be a part of your home please let me know. Many Thanks Ady
I'm a nurse at the PA hospital, and I do a couple of night shifts now and then, usually finishing around 2am, so someone who does nights as well, or doesn't throw parties every night is definitely my kind of flatmate. I'd also prefer somewhere within walking distance of the PA. I don't have an exact date I need to move, but early April-May would be ideal for me. I've also put down 6 months, but ideally I'd like to find a place with a longer lease. I love to cook, and would prefer a place with a yard, though a flat's ok too. I've got 2 (incredibly sooky and affectionate) dogs, but my mum's happy to take them if I can't find a place that allows pets. I also try to keep fit, and have a weights bench that I'll need room for. I'm also very respectful of the noise they can create, so I always put them away gently- no worries there! I don't drive right now, so as long as there's room in the garage for your car, we should be sorted. I also know my sister's Netflix password (with her permission), so yay, free Netflix! Anything else you wanna know, just ask!
Hi there, Another Kiwi who has jumped ship to live the Australian life style. I work as an Account Manager in the city - Looking for something semi close by but open to locations. Clean and tidy and gets along with all most everyone.
Hey guys! I'm a clean and respectful housemate, looking for accommodation close to public transport. I'm eager to meet some cool people throughout the process as I love to live in a social environment but I can also keep to myself! I'm also open to starting a new sharehouse if anyone else is interested!
In my spare time I tutor university students on a private basis, trade online, try to get out of the house often but can be found lounging around reading or watching netflix as well. I'm also studying a grad dip in chartered accounting (almost done). Backpacking overseas would be my favourite thing to do along with getting outdoors in summer, I'm a reasonably active person who rides to work daily. I work Monday to Friday in the CBD at a professional services firm. I'm also clean & friendly, while being happy to put my fair share into the house and wanting to get to know those around me. My immediate situation isn't urgent, I'm simply looking for a room that is a bit bigger & nicer than what I have now with some awesome people. My move date is flexible, I'm about finding the right place. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Dear new flatmates, I recently got a full time office job in Brisbane starting 3rd of April till 2nd of May in Acacia Ridge. But I would love to live close to Westend as I really love this suburb with all its variety. But I am happy about any kind of offer :-) I'm 29 years old and have been living in shared flats for more than 10 years now. I'm an easy going person who knows loves to share dinner, humour, experiences, hobbies, etc. and is very good in cleaning ;-) I like to go dancing (bachata, kizomba, forró) and spend my free time somewhere outside. First, I just need a room for 1 month but you never know what happens afterwards.... :D Looking forward to hearing from you, Jessi
Tidy and really easy going! I respect other people’s privacy but am also up for a chat and maybe even a movie binge. Enjoy road trips to the beach & towns surrounding, cooking epic veg meals and working out (can be a gym buddy)! Also love going out for brunch and markets and exploring the city’s night life. Will never be problems with rent! Also as it could be possible I only stay for a min of 3 months I will find someone to take over before I leave! Please get in touch!!
Moving up from GC to Brisbane for work Easy going, tidy, enjoys a chat/banter after work and respects each other’s space when needed. On my days off i like to keep fit, play tennis and head to the beach. I have a little bit of furniture and a car
I'm very loud, i'll wake up at 4 in the morning to cook up a storm and share none of it with you. I'll leave dirty, cockroach ridden dishes throughout the house, including your bed. I'll leave the aircon on all day and give 0 regards to the electricity. Okay, obviously this is not serious, jokes aside. My names Shaun as you've probably already figured out. I'm a very positive person and probably one of most ocd people you’ll ever meet. So like I’ll do super weird shit like sleep on the floor instead of a bed, I clean up dishes even if they aren’t mine that are just laying around, like no judgment I just slowly lose my sanity if everything isn’t immaculately clean. You’ll probably see me scrub every spec of mould out of the bathroom or just spring cleaning in general playing my Spotify playlist obnoxiously loud lol jk, not that loud unless you’re not home then that shits blaring. I’m like a personal development junkie so, I do allot of shit that seems like really narcissistic or come across like I’m trying to be better than you but I’m really just passionate about being fucking awesome and like I don’t judge if you don’t care about that shit. Like I try to be healthy and shit so I got this juicer and you’ll be like why you trying to be all healthy and shit man and I’ll be like I’m just trying to be cool man and you’ll be like yeah nah. I’m a massive nerd as well so I love video games, I like binging out on tv shows every now and then, also if you have pets I love animals in general and I’ll want to play with them all the time, so be warned if they start liking me more than you. I can be social and outgoing but also enjoy being a completely introverted hermit that hides in his room whispering “precious”. I’m uh joking by the way, disclaimer alert. I'm usually very preoccupied with shit, whether I'm working, studying, out with friends, at the gym or in town, regardless I'm always down to do shit, you just gotta be like hey let’s do this shit and I’ll be like yeah gurl/bro I’m fucking down let’s go. I'm fairly responsible with energy so you wont have to worry about me racking up your electricity. Why do we still pay for that shit in 2018 anyway, my god. Anyways I'm looking for a temporary home, so like HMU if like you wanna meet up and hang but if not yeah that’s totally cool too. Um yeah HMU
