Hi there, 🙂 My name is Leonard Sherown, I'm studying architecture in UQ. Im a part time fashion model, tour guide and full time tutoring in EIC education, teaching architecture of course. 😊 I don't have a car, so a good transportation is necessary. Looking for one individual room and bathroom.
I'm a different sort of bloke... Ive traveled all over and did it on a budget. Very easy going, not much phases me. I take pride in my home so cleaning is no problem. Ive been in Brisbane for about 5 years and am studying to become a social worker... Just need a car and licence. So until I have these I'm looking for work... Call centres and the like. Love music and knowledge, two of my heroes are Socrates and Dr MLK Jr... Oh, and Will Farrel as Anchorman, you smelly pirate hooker lmao. Big fan of pets. Looking for a room close to Zillmere (between Redcliffe and Northgate with some laid back folk who don't mind a chat but respect personal space too.
My name is Myriam, I am in Brisbane to take a 11 week job training. To focus on my studies I am looking for a cosy, quiet home away from home. In my spare time I love swimming, hunting down street-art, visiting museums, Netflix, MOOCs, hanging out and chatting with friends, and surfing the internet. I am clean, tidy, belief in paying my rent on time. I am staying in Australia until Dec 10th. I am new in town and would like to live with people who are interested to socialize, but don’t mind downtime. If you have a cat or dog would be awesome. As a nonsmoker I don’t like smoking/vaping inside the house/flat.
26 year old working in social services I love to travel and be outdoors I’m crazy clean and love to socialise also needing my alone time I work full time and am in and out all weekend Looking to live closer to the city, Nundah inwards Non smoker
I'm easy to get along with, enjoy keeping busy and socialising but appreciate my own time and space and allow others theirs. I work full time and enjoy being creative in my spare time :) I'm clean and tidy, and reliable so paying rent on time wouldn't be any issue.
I'm kept busy working a full time job in government, plus run a wellbeing biz where clients come to the house for consultations in the evening and some weekends. I'm looking for a self-contained place, furnished and private/quiet. Having good neighbours would be a blessing too! Off street parking and no paid street parking is ideal. I'm social, friendly, yet private. I like pets, but don't have any at the moment. Anywhere near the Brisbane river or a park would be awesome! Thanks.
Hi! We're best friends making the move from Canada to Brisbane. Teila will be taking on a nursing job and Alyssa will be job hunting on arrival. We're looking for a couple of rooms in a social household, ideally with people looking to be friends and not just flatmates. Very easygoing and respectful of space. Will likely be travelling/out of the house a fair amount of weekends. Would be great to find others on working holiday visas looking to explore Australia! Send us a message if you'd like to know more.
we are both down to earth and very talkative at times. we enjoy going out with friends, good food and chilling outt We have just both moved to brisbane from a small town looking for better opportunities. Im currently working in retail and my boyfriend nick is currently looking for work as we’ve only been here for about two weeks and staying with family (:
I am in my 30's & have been travelling overseas with my dog, Bin Dog, for the last year. We have just returned to Australia. I used to live in Melbourne but have decided to see what Brisbane life is like. I work as an Environmental Science teacher & love all things outdoors. I'm a diver & surfer (not a bad diver, currently rubbish surfer but keen to get better). I am a happy bush hiker & camper. I also like aerial circus - hoop is my favourite, silks is confusing. Music is important to me, I love to sing & will be looking for a funky choir or band to join. I am an avid reader and don't do tv but do sometimes like to watch a movie or some comedy. Having been on the road for awhile I'm excited to get a garden & a space to create. I have done a lot of volunteering helping out on natural builds & permaculture gardening. Bin Dog is a well travelled 12 year old Kelpie. She had been to approximately 30 countries but on account of her age I have promised her no more flying, time for her to retire in her homelands. She is super chill. Her favourite activities are eating (she was called Bindi when I adopted her & she earned the name Bin Dog), pavement licking & sleeping. She is pretty lazy & doesn't clean or cook but she does take people on lovely walks & provide good companionship. She does like to curl up on the sofa but I'm very happy to provide throws to protect furniture. She doesn't chew, dig, bother people & is good with cats & other dogs but doesn't want to play. As a housemate I am clean, considerate & reliable for rent & bills. I'm vegetarian but don't mind other people's dietary choices. I've stayed with all sorts of people throughout life & on my many travels & have learned the virtue of tolerance. I am a social person & would like housemates who want to share some meals or cups of tea & chats. Things I don't want in a housemate are passive aggressive...or aggressive...behaviour, hermits, excessive uncleanliness, racists, sexists, homophobes...you get the idea.
Hi, How's it going?! I'm a barista and design enthusiast. So.. you can expect complimentary specialty coffee at home in an organised fashion. I'm looking for a friendly household close by to my work in Newstead. Ideally, I'd like to live with people I can see myself eventually becoming friends and having a laugh and drink with. Personality Introverted in nature, so you can expect a bit of introspective dialogue. I'm the kind of guy that is content sitting in a room of friends quietly doing our own thing without talking to each other. Conversely, I could spend hours having an intense D&M with someone. You can expect Dark and absurd humour with me. Hobbies and Interests. Industrial Design, 3d Printing, Philosophy, Minimalism, Dystopian Sci-fi, Anime, Weird Coffee brewing techniques, and PC Gaming. Boundaries I'd like to live in a household that respects boundaries around shared space and personal possessions. Ideally, a situation where everyone cleans up after themselves (daily) in the kitchen, and a vacuuming duty rotation (a week or fortnightly). Additionally asking to use things or share food/expenses.
Hi, I am moving back to Brisbane to finish my degree after travelling for the last few months. I would love to live in West End, as having lived there for 3 years prior to travelling I've fallen in love with the place. I'm a tidy person, who is very easy to get along with and live with. I would ideally like a house where the housemates do stuff together occasionally (on that note: I've got a car, and know alot of cool waterfalls and hikes around Brissy if anyone's up for a day trip!). But yeah, that's the basics! Obviously ask away if you've got anymore questions :)
