Hi all, I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a relaxed sharehouse somewhere north-ish of the city. I'm 34, and work part-time at a bookshop and teach part-time at Victoria University, which keeps me pretty busy. I also love going to any food, book, or film festivals that happen to be on. I don't smoke and have no pets. I have some furniture/house stuff but nothing I'm particularly attached to so I'm happy to pass it on if it's not needed. I've been sharehousing for years, so I'm really dependable and respectful of others. My move in date is flexible. If you want to now anything more, feel free to send me a message! Rebecca
Hi, I'm Anton, a primary school teacher, surfer (who gives housemates free surf lessons) and laid back guy who's looking for a new place as my current lease in Brunswick is ending as they are going to renovate 😞 I have a cat too that comes with references from my current and former housemates. Would love to be part of the house. Also can contribute furnishings too if you'd like. Please message me or give me a call. Thanks, Anton
I am a chilled out person. Into meditation, running and yoga etc. I like freestyle dancing. I am a professional in the IT field. I am mostly vegan. I like to hangout with friends, watch comedy shows on the internet, cook a little for myself. I tend to prefer organic stuff over artificial and chemical stuff. I am originally from India but last 10 yrs have been overseas including UK, Sydney and now Melbourne.

Hey guys. My name is emir. I am working in moonee ponds and looking for a place to share. I m very easy going, clean and I shared houses with people before. I speak spanish german and turkish as well. I m from Istanbul btw. If you have anything available please message me. Cheers.
Im from good ol 'Murica, studying child care and development at a private college in the city. When im not studying, I'm nannying 3 munchkins and working an amazing cafe in fitzroy, or an amazing resturant off brunswick st. Other than that, i try to maintain a social life in between. Loves: cooking new meals, baking, netflixing, wineing or beering, paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself and making the house look ahhmazing, and every dog i ever meet (and cats, if they let me 🤗) Dislikes: people who clip their toenails in public and the word moist. Pretty busy lifestyle, but always happy to chat! Lived in share houses before, so definitely not my first rodeo :)
Shared accommodation is actually preferred as I enjoy to live a fun and social life with good surroundings. I'm an easy going, mindful and respectful guy who works hard and enjoys life outside of work also. As a sub-contractor, I take on work as it comes which leaves me with not having a permanent routine. Though in my spare time I enjoy DJing and producing music, though I am respectful towards privacy and being respectful with my hobbies and social life to maintain a happy and stress free living environment also. I like to live and maintain a clean and healthy living environment, enjoy meeting new people and socializing with friends. If you have any further questions, feel free to message me. Thanks. Michael.
I'm from India. I am used to Flat-sharing. I'm neat, tidy guy. can help with house-hold chores. Will love to help you in cooking (Considering, you won't kill me if i make mistakes). I would love to play with your pet, if you have one, but if you don't, it's alright. Very helpful and have little bit of handsomeness from my papa.. Would love to hear from you! :)
Hi there. Im Andrew. Originally from Ireland but have been living in Australia since 1998. Im moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in April with my partner Kris. We have been together for just under six months and are taking the mature view of not moving in together just yet while we still get to know one and other. How adult!? Crazy right? I work full time and study part time normally although taking a break from study to settle in to Melbourne life. I have been interviewing for jobs already and will continue to do so whilst still living in Brisbane. I already have some great opportunities and want to start work as soon as I arrive. Im currently in the middle of a Criminology degree plus some other counselling diplomas. Im a music lover, sports fan, outdoor type so love going on weekend adventures out of town. Im pretty quiet around home when studying and always make sure to keep a clean home.
I am looking for a place to share where housemates have respect for each other's boundaries & personal lives & communicate with each other in a courteous & respectful manner, & its a FAIR & equitable home environment, with ensuite or seperate bathroom or granny flat, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am fun to be with, sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. My adorable cavoodle is very clean, very friendly, & quiet & very well behaved & professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet. Independent, clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples boundaries and expect the same from others.Friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally. In my free time, I go jogging and help with various charities.
Gay guy originally from Brisbane but called Melbourne home for nearly 4 years now. Professional job allows me flexibility re work hours so not always 9-5 Mon-Fri. I have a good circle of mates and like to get out and socialise. I am clean, tidy, thoughtful and very respectful of others and their belongings. MOST IMPORTANTLY ... I have a 10 year old beagle, Jasper, who is at the age where he just does his own thing at his own pace. He's a beautiful dog and takes to pretty much anyone and enjoys companionship. Not a barker or a digger and has his own rental references from landlords and agents. So am obviously looking for somewhere pet friendly with a decent (doesn't have to be huge) yard or park nearby. We have unfortunately just had to farewell our great little Brunswick home as, as fantastic as she was, the owner moved back from the UK. I have entered my move date as end of month for the sake of it but can move anytime preferring sooner. I have a small 2 bedroom house (approx) of high end appliances and designer furniture all 1-3 years old which would be great to make use of but can store if need be. As far as housemate ages, I really am open to living with anyone 18 to 50 or 60 or whatever, provided you're mature, don't continually piss people off and chip in good. I do get along best with guys and girls in their 20s, 30s and 40s and love the variety that comes with it.
Hello! I'm a friendly, and fun housemate to live with. Im quite easy going and enjoy to socialise with my house mates. Its always nice to like the people you live with! I also live a clean and tidy house to like in so I clean up after myself. 😊
I'm a friendly and tidy person, full time worker, looking for a place to share. I am a responsible person and am looking for a place where I will have a little privacy but I am also happy to be sociable with house mates, and share household chores if required. Please contact me if you have a place that you think I'd fit in with.

I’m Australian, and currently doing my PhD at Melbourne University. I have two scholarships that provide me with a comfortable wage to study so can be considered as working full time. I also work one day per week with Melbourne Water doing some consulting work. I’m pretty laid back, but enjoy an active lifestyle. Enjoy catching up with friends, hiking/camping, beach trips, snow trips and travelling. I also make my own beer from scratch. So if there are any beer lovers in the house, I may be a popular addition! Looking for a private room in a share house with some fun and interesting peeps. Current lease is ending first week of May so ideally would like somewhere to move to from mid-end of April so I don’t end up homeless! Have been living in share houses for some time so am definitely house trained, courteous of others space and am quite clean and tidy, and enjoy cooking most meals. Look forward to meeting you!
21, easygoing yet tidy, Case Manager @ Holden GM in Port Melbourne, design orientated, love food and tea, gym and social life. Lived with multiple personalities so really easy to get along with
Hey! I'm looking for a place long term and can move in now/whenever! More about me: I'm a second year arts student at Melbourne Uni studying history and media. I'm busy throughout the week so I'll be in and out of the house quite often. I'm sociable but chill and love a good chat about anything really. Things I like: I'm a major film buff and like music and art. I like cooking (or trying to anyway) and a beer here and there. Gigs and pubs are my go to whenever I'm free (or even when I'm not).
I am a 20 year old Hospo worker and also coach children's basketball teams. I am quite a sociable person, love getting out to see sport and everything else this city has to offer. Although, I do also really enjoy my down time, therefore am always respectful of others and their space. I am considerate, clean and very down to earth, enjoy meeting new people and having a laugh over a meal with my housemates. I am very easy to live with and have references if need be
Hey people - I'm looking for a place to live at that I can feel comfortable and happy in and possibly start a new social network with as well! This means I'm open to teaming up and finding a lease :) I'm a very good communicator and a sensible and responsible person. Also an experienced professional with job security and home share experience. Enjoy participating and watching sport, like to exercise at the gym regularly while eating healthy food and am hopeful of staying close to the area I've spent most of my life in. Because of my work, have some flexibility :) Can cook, like running a veggie garden, open to pets. Very respectful of others space/privacy but would ideally share a place with people that are also on the extroverted spectrum - I like company :)
Hi there, I'm Maddi. I have been living in the same share house for the past four years which is coming to an end in April, due to my housemates moving interstate. Its sad, but I wish my counterparts all the best for their futures endeavours I try not to take life to seriously. I am looking for a place that I can call my home, a safe place to listen, laugh, share stories and the occasional meal. A place where we all respect our home, each other's space and individuality. I pay my bill and rent on time. I am house trained (Yay) Don't hesitate to drop a line or two if you are passing by. I would love to say Hello! Please consider me as your newest friendly family member.
Hello, Um. I do freelance graphic design and enjoy making nice pictures. I like dogs, they are good. But I do not have a dog and that is bad. If you have a dog we could be friends, that is to say the dog and myself. I moved down from Newcastle, NSW and have been living with friends in Melbourne since January while I get myself settled but now I'm looking for a more permanent residence. I like geek stuff, cooking, fooding, boardgaming (which is games too but different) - reading, youtubing. I'm going to go now. :|
I'm very clean, prefer to live in a place with someone with mutual interests. I enjoy yoga, aerial fitness, home cooking, going for brunch, drinking wine and cocktails! I also love pizza, fried chicken and Netflix :)

Our house is being demolished and turned into apartments :( I'm looking for a room from Late April until my contract expires at the end of the year. I'm sociable, with a 4 screen netflix account, a subscription to Time Magazine and New Scientist. Look forward to hearing from you, Alexis.
Hello there :) I am a 30 years old, PhD student at The University of Melbourne and I am based at The Royal Children Hospital to do my studies. I was born in Italy and lived there until 4 years ago. Then Melbourne captured me with its sunsets, stunning views and multicultural&funky vibe. I am looking for share housemates who are open, respectful, friendly and don't need all the time to do things together to feel they have a good vibe in the house. I can offer the same in exchange. I want a cosy place that will feel like home _a place where I can relax and get rid of the PhD&life stresses. Don't mind if you do parties or have friends over and I hope I may be able to invite few friends over, too (I like to host small pizza party - i have an electric oven which simulates a woodfired oven ;) ). However, I am not up for a constant party house. I like people and i usually get along with others easily if things are communicate openly. I want to leave in a decent and clean space. I am happy to participate in a cleaning roster (actually i would prefer that so no need to argue about who did the bathroom last time ;) ). Things that makes me happy... hang out in parks, having long skype calls with my family&friends, doing yoga, exercising, going to markets or second hand shops, going to the Abbotsford Convent, cooking and baking, talking about science and philosophy (don't worry not too heavy stuff!), art galleries wondering. I am Pescis if this matters ;)
Things about me: --currently studying engineering technology at RMIT --from a small country town in western Victoria called Kaniva --involved in the scouting community --a recreational pilot --play Aussie rules football --I enjoy going out on the weekends, sometimes --able to cook a couple of different meals but I wouldn't say I'm any Gordon Ramsey --Im a pretty chill person --international traveler
Professional female working in communications and marketing, looking to share a nice place with other females or a mixture of genders. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of people, and not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need a larger room rather than a smaller. Possibly 4m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet. About $215- $250 is my ideal rent, (excluding bills).
Hi, Im a young professional who works hard but also likes to play hard. I am not opposed to a drink or dance and love to chill out in the sun on a hot day. I have an addiction to travel and like to go overseas every 6-12mths. I have a quirky sense of humour and pretty easy going, being respectful of peoples space and beliefs. I love living a drama free life. I'm an illegal alien/boat person. Well not totally true I'm a kiwi who has been living in the land of red dirt for 5years. I'm hoping that this doesn't turn you off me. If you asked my current room mates they would say when I'm home I'm quiet, clean and tidy. If you asked my friends they would say that I live a carefree life.
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
I am a mechanical engineer from Iran. My professional background is available at my LinkedIn profile. I am married and my spouse and 6 years old son will join me in Melbourne in 2 months so I have to move then. I like to socialize. I am tidy, clean and positive guy. I play table tennis in my leisure.
I am very easy going and clean. I love meeting new people and get along with just about everyone I meet. I am extremely organized and hard working. My housing situation fell through and I am currently staying between Airbnb's so I would love to find a house as soon as possible so that I don't have to move back to Adelaide as that's looking like my only option right now. Feel free to message if you have a room that could work and wanna chat.
Originally from Venezuela, I moved to Melbourne 5 years ago. Melbourne has become my new home. I am 36 years old, electrical engineer. I work in the CBD at the moment. I like to ride my bicycle to commute to work. I like outdoor activities, at the moment golf is my favourite one, but I am always open to try new ones. I am not a netflix addict, but I do like movies, and documentaries. I like to read literature, Roberto Bolano by far is my favourite author. I am a big fan of architecture, and I am trying to get into sustainable design, from the electrical point of view. I am an easy going person, respectful, transparent, tidy, who is looking a new home.
I'm moving back to Melbourne to start full-time work as a Architect after a summer travelling NZ and working on my parents farm. I've lived in two share houses for the last 5 years (three years in Geelong, two years in Armadale) and look forward to finding another place I can move into long term. I'm pretty easy going and am always up for shared meals, games and a few drinks! In my spare time like to got to the footy/cricket, catch a gig, work on and ride bikes, cook and garden. If you place has shed space or room for a veggie patch that's huge for me! I start work on April 3 but have places to stay if need be. Something that's available in early April would be rad. Cheers!
Returning from Europe after 8 months away and looking for somewhere to stay whilst I can sort something out for the longer term. I've been living in share houses since I was 18 and am a very respectful housemate who loves to cook (and also clean up afterwards). Love to travel, meet new people and have a beer. Currently a student at RMIT but very close to finishing that and looking forward to what the next chapter of my life holds.
Hi, My name is Michael and I'm 27 years old engineer. I work full time (Tuesday to Saturday) usually from 7 am to 4 pm. Few words about me: calm, friendly, respectful, polite, easygoing, tidy, keen to meet new people and love travelling. I also like motorcycles, listening live music and trying new things. I'm looking for someone friendly, easygoing and tidy. Someone who respects others but doesn't mind to spend some time together at home or outdoors.
Hi there! My name is Lucy and I just recently moved down to Melbourne to pursue postgraduate studies in Humanitarian Assistance. My passion lies in human rights and English literature. I'm a quiet but very friendly person. I will get along with anyone as long as everyone is treated respectfully and cleanliness is maintained. I'm a non-smoker but don't mind housemates who do smoke, as long as it's outside. I like to occasionally have friends over for movie nights or chilled drinks. Though mostly I'll be busy with studies and work.
Clean, friendly and a pretty chilled out person. I am a recent graduate of the University of Melbourne, currently working full-time with the aim to go back to uni later this year. Interests include; sports, reading, and cooking.
I am an Italian 31 yrs old originally from Italy. I'm looking for a private room, possibly in Moreland area until September 2017 when my Working Holiday Visa will expire. Something about me: I am a relaxed, respectful, tidy and clean person who likes to share some dialogue but also to have her own space at times. I am working about 35 hours a week in hospitality, so you wouldn't actually see me at home too often. My lived 3 years in UK where I worked in the Social field with homeless people and I am trying to get a job in this field here in Australia, but in the meanwhile I'm volunteering once a week to gain some experience. I definitely like having fun, but I am not even too much a party person. I do enjoy going out to get party every now and then- honestly just maybe once every 2 months- and maybe drink some good alcohol in a techno/ psytrance party but not too often. I do not mind living with pets as long as they are not to hairy or- in case of dogs- barking. I do love cats :) I practice Yoga and Buddhism on a daily basis and for me the Spiritual side of my life is very important and I respect the other's beliefs or nihilism :D Please positive vibes! I am an open minded person who likes the values of diversity and equality and I am definitely LGBT+ friendly. Music? I am up to everything... From electronic to jazz or classical music, but you won't hear me playing loud music, so don't worry. I am looking for a place with mature ppl where tenants are able to clean up after themselves and are open-minded and relaxed. If you think that I might be the right person for your house please get in touch :) Good luck with your room mate search.
Hi, I'm a 30 year old full time engineer. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and originally from Sydney. I'm quiet, independent, private, non-smoker, tidy and respectful of others. Hey guys! How are you doing? My name is Luis, I'm 26, Venezuelan, civil engineer, living in Melbourne for one year now, at the moment working mon-frid in the construction industry and studying a Diploma in Leadership two nights a week. I'm looking for a place to move in in about 4 weeks. I like to travel, hangout sometimes on weekends, enjoy a nice beer at home. I'm open minded, easy going, clean and ordered and love to have a chat with the people that I'm living with. If I sound the kind of person you are looking please send me a message thru this way or via text message.
I'm Saxon - A 22 year old student of Philosophy and Anthropology at Victoria University, although i'll be transferring to La Trobe this year. I'm financially independent and have references that can vouch for this. I enjoy being social, but I also love to have my space and will always respect the space of others. I love to read and watch movies, however I always try to get out of the house as much as I can to enjoy Melbourne - I'm still fairly new here but i'm already in love with the city. I'm easy to live with; very open minded; respect all people; and certainly don't mind if you have a pet! If there's anything else you'd like to know give me a call/text/email or just catch me on here: i"ll be checking it regularly. - Saxon
I will be frank, I don't think my body can handle the insane amounts of caffeine I pump into it daily due to the fact I have to get up so early in order to travel to work. My name is Nicole and I am 18 years old and looking to move closer to the city in order to minimise travel time (and by extension the time I have to drag myself out of bed) in the mornings. I work full time (Monday-Friday) as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Melbourne CBD. I am very mature, I understand the value of respect when living in such confined quarters with others, I am clean and enjoy keeping my living area tidy and in some semblance of order, I can cook and I am in already in the habit of doing my own laundry. In my spare time I like to yell at films and television shows and the characters within them, vocalise my general displeasure at everything in life, lament at the fact that hotcross buns are a seasonal delicacy and worship the musical masterpiece that is Piece of Me - Britney Spears (2007) Move date: Mid - Late May
Hey, my name is Konrad, I'm currently renting in Aberfeldie and looking to move into a share-house in the near future. I work full-time in finance and enjoy cooking, badminton, hiking and birdwatching. I'm a pretty neat and tidy person but I appreciate chores being shared equally. I'm generally out on weekends but on weeknights I like chilling out with a drink and chatting or watching TV & movies. Cheers!
