I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I have a Bachelor Degree in Music and play guitar and bass; I usually have a few musical projects on the go at any time. Sometimes I go busking in the CBD and play gigs with a band. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad which is about to start up again. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me. She's a nutter at times (mostly dinner times) but is super affectionate and independent.
Telecom Professional working in Docklands, Neat n Tidy. Works Full time 5 days a week. Like to socialize meet new people and respect others privacy. Likes to stay fit, go to Gym and Hangout in free times. Easy going and fun person :)
I love to go out for dinners with close friends, love movies and cooking occasionally. I'm tidy and respectful of communal places and expecting the same qualities. I'm kind person, with an easy going attitude and easy to be around. I am accommodating to others so long as the same respect is reciprocated. I'd love to arrange for an inspection. Cheers
Hi, I'm Kathryn. I'm looking for a place around Moonee Ponds/Maribynong as I've just got a new job based there. I work in social work, but for a few months I'll also be working casually at Crown Casino. I graduated uni in 2014 after studying Criminology, focussing on policy. I've recently returned from an extended 'gap year/s' in Germany, where I mostly worked with refugee aid and English/German translation. I'm pretty keen on Netflix binges, group meals, political discussions, casual dinner parties and baking. I'm clean but not obsessive, not a huge partier, respectful of people's space and very organised. I'm a non-smoker and a seldom drinker. I'm not a vegetarian nor vegan, but I rarely eat meat and am more than happy to live in a vegetarian house. I will mostly be working from mid afternoon through to 10/11pm, so will be coming and going at off times. Every Tuesday I'll be staying over at work, so won't be around that night. I don't like houses that aren't social with one another, crazy party houses, or housies that don't clean up after themselves. I am looking for somewhere that has good public transport access to the CBD and Moonee Ponds, has off-street car-parking, and is non-smoking. I've lived in share houses before, including a year in Carnegie, a year in Caulfield and 2 years on campus at Monash in Clayton. I also managed to successfully couch-surf my way through Germany for close to a year, so I've very familiar with what makes a good house-guest. If I sound like a good fit into your house, please get in contact :) Kathryn :)
Hello I'm Eileen, 22, finished a photography degree and currently looking for photography work in Melbourne, all the while, working as a waitress in a restaurant. I enjoy art/galleries, board games and a good drink. I'm easy-going, LGBT+ friendly and sociable. Looking for a private room in a sharehouse where everyone respect each other and also share the fun of living together instead of hiding in their own rooms. If it sounds suitable for your house, I would love to hear from you, thank you.
I am moving to Melbourne from Townsville to find work and hopefully start a degree. I am a very easy-going and neat person who loves to cook. Bonus if you have pets! I only know a handful of people in Melbourne and will have to start from scratch where furniture is concerned. I am a very sociable person and will most likely spend my spare time exploring the city or hanging out. I understand its hard to offer a room to someone on the other side of Australia, but would be more than happy to Skype and answer any questions you have. I am gay, so would definitely prefer an LGBT friendly household - although I have a feeling that won't be much of an issue in Melbourne. My idea of an awesome Friday is a big feed, a few beers and a movie, would prefer a chilled household on similar vibes. :) plus if you're a foodie! If you think I'd be a good fit, please let me know and we can have a chat :)
Hi there! I recently moved to Melbourne to pursue full time postgrad degree at RMIT. I am very laidback, I enjoy reading, sports, cooking, videogames and learning/teaching languages. I am an engineering student but have many diverse interests. I have a lot of experience in living in shared accommodation so you can definitely expect me to be tidy and clean up after myself. Also I will respect others' privacy and be considerate towards their needs. I am hoping to move in to a place and settle down before semester start. Cheers!
Ahoy, I'm Steph Non smoker, not into drugs. I am a social drinker, love to have a chat and get out and about when Melbourne decides to have nice weather. Big fan of The Simpsons and Bob's Burgers, can be a bit geeky at times. I work in retail so I do have a rotating roster including weekends. I'm extremely respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and wish to be around others who are the same. Ideally I'd like to live with people around the same age and experience a mixed gender household. Because work is in the city I need to be near transport and I do have a car so parking is necessary (off street would be heaven). I'm not exactly too fussed about suburbs right now as long as it cuts down my commute time (1.5 hour travel at the moment is draining my life) and I'm comfy with whoever I live with. I'm pretty terrible at cooking but I like eating / am willing to learn how to not poison others. If you think I may be suitable for your home send me a message :) Cheers!
Former lecturer/academic, just moved home to Melbourne from Japan (where I used to do research) and the UK (even more research). I'm in the middle of a career change, starting full time literature studies at Melbourne soon and then planning to go on to teacher training. Most of the time I'm either out and about at classes or have my nose in a book ;) Decidedly introverted but equally enjoy some friendly banter. I'm vegan, but not preachy about it...and if you have animal friends in the house they will get free unlimited cuddles on demand forever! When not studying can be found experimenting with my 'culinary jazz,' cycling further than my friends say I can, contemplating awesome art, working on my own (less awesome) art, and engaging in various voluntary help-the-animals activities. Looking for somewhere safe, quiet, and orderly to settle, but with just enough eccentricity to keep life interesting :)

I am a clean, respectful housemate who is also a great cook and baker, ear for venting, fun person to be around, warm friendly and down to earth. I always pay rent and bills on time, always clean up and am always up for a chat/share a meal or a beverage but also respect people's alone/quiet time and privacy.
Hi! My names Grace, I am 20 years old, originally from Japan, but moved to Melbourne from Adelaide. I really enjoy being out and about, but also love to lounge at home with a glass of wine and watch movies. I am a very friendly person, and love to chat but also really enjoy my own personal space. I am looking for roommates that I could be friends with, occasionally have dinner with, etc. Grace
Self employed girl geak engineer and electronic music lover. I am looking for a new home with people who have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a wine and chat from time to time. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is the way forward. Flexible with move dates, ideally early to mid to late . If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I love animals but don't have any. I am open to a sublet but prefer to rent and be on a lease and 6 months minimum is preferred.

Hi I am Damien 37 from Tassie, I work as an early child hood educator and after school carer but looking to get into teachers aide work while I work on my passion of writing pun jokes. I am quiet but funny , I love to have a good laugh or at least make people laugh . I love AFL and sport in general , I am looking forward to watching the bombers play . Anything else you would like to know feel free to ask.
Hi, Im a friendly, social being who likes a tidy house. I've lived in all sorts of share situations - sharing food, going it alone, cleaning as needed and keeping to a strict roster. I'm reliable and organised - hopefully this doesn't mean I'm not fun! I like to think I am and love a good bonding/gossip sesh and a laugh. Like to share teas/wines/beers as they happen and have no problems grabbing washing off the line before rain, watering pot plants when others are away and picking this up from the shops on the way home. I'm an urban planner working for state gov full time, a country girl at heart I'm a fan of a bit of gardening. My current house has chickens which I love and am sad to be leaving. I have a super affectionate cat and an entire house of furniture to contribute (although I'd happily discuss letting some of it go if needed). Looking to move by May 15 either into a great existing sharehouse or start a new one. My location preference is super-free, I'm only in need of a train within 10mins walk or a 1/2 hr easy bike ride to the cbd.

I am looking for a place within the inner west/ inner northern suburbs, with close access to public transport.
Hi I'm Huw. Currently studying Primary School teaching at Uni while working part time. I'm neat and tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. I enjoy a clean living space and am considerate of others. I am also very honest and trustworthy, I don't take life to serious and enjoy the little things in life! I have lived out of home in Perth for the last 4 years while studying at University due to my parents living on a farm.

Hey! I'm a 20 year old female looking for a place by the 20th of February. I am a bartender in Carlton so I will be gone most nights, and in the day I study a Diploma in Beauty Therapy. I am very easy going and love adventures :) Love to clean, I'll do it even when you don't want me to haha. If I'm not doing any of the above I'm kicking back watching a movie or having a drink or two :) Very excited to live with some new and cool people !
21 yo honours student at Melbourne Uni Quiet and introvert, tidy and clean Easy-going, open-minded, funny, smart, considerate and respectful Always enjoy a good laughter, hoping to find a roommate(s) who is/are easy to get along with Oh did I mention that I'm also a decent home chef! Often busy with uni work but love to hang out with mates whenever I'm free Netflix and movies are my things Prefer accommodations with accessibility to trams but can be flexible I can move in after the 15th of March Hit me up if you think I'm a good fit!
We are very friendly, reliable & sociable people! :) Currently on a working holiday and will be in Melbourne until September. We will both be working full time and are wanting somewhere secure, clean and accessible to call home. We are a respectable couple and we are not interested in staying in a halfway house or a party house, although we do like to have a socialable drink with our roomies. :) We enjoy cooking and socialising. At evenings we like to go to the gym or chill out, and enjoy a drink and or a movie at the weekends. We would be interested in staying with another couple or another female. We are Northern Irish and would prefer English speaking housemates! :) Feel free to send us a message with any rooms you may have available! We would be interested in seeing pics and meeting up! :)
I'm an architect from colombia and I'm finishing my English studies. At this moment I am applying for my permanent residency. I'm 33 yo. Normally my week is quite busy. I start early in the morning and go home pretty late. I love a quiet place to live. I spend my free time listening to music and watching some movies.
Looking for a few new housemates to create a new sharehouse! I've been looking in the Kensington area, but I'm open to other suggestions, provided they're about a 30 minute cycle to the CBD. A little sweat on the brow distance is cool. I study part time, work part time, and travel part time. I love art, literature, and anything creative; love music, and jam to it almost constantly. I also love watching movies and getting hooked on a good TV show, and enjoy sharing this with housemates. Because of who I am as a person, I may keep odd hours at times, but I'm very quiet at night, and once I'm asleep i'll sleep through anything, so if you're a morning person, there's no need to tiptoe. You *may* have to wake me if there's a fire, though... I like to zone out with exercise, and do a bit of pilates or yoga at home, or go for walks--enter new dog. Also love that I can cycle to work in the city in under 30 minutes. I like home to be my sanctuary, and enjoy being able to come home to housemates who are keen to chat or watch a movie together, but I also like my down time, and chill out in my room. I am friendly and easy going, and admire those traits in others. I love to spend time with housemates cooking, watching movies, and chatting, but I can respect other peoples space. I definitely like feeling like it's a home, a sanctuary, and like being friends with housemates, rather than ships passing in the night. I'm vegetarian, but not the kind to unleash diatribes about meat because you eat it. No pets at present, but I'm hoping to adopt a rescue dog, so ideally you're pet friendly. It'll be a small dog, but an inside/outside one.
Hi there! I've made the move to Melbs from Brisbane. New start, new life! I'm a writer most days but I'm also working at a little cafe. I have many strong ties to the artistic and performing arts community here. I'm very tidy, do my share of the cleaning and I happen to cook like a boss. I'm up for a good chat with a glass of wine but I'm also happy to keep to myself. Not too fond of a loud environment because I'm pretty chilled. Cheers, Lou
Things about me: --currently studying engineering technology at RMIT --from a small country town in western Victoria called Kaniva --involved in the scouting community --a recreational pilot --play Aussie rules football --I enjoy going out on the weekends, sometimes --able to cook a couple of different meals but I wouldn't say I'm any Gordon Ramsey --Im a pretty chill person --international traveler
Hi I'm Ed, I'm a qualified electrician from Echuca and I've just started a new full time job in Melbourne, I'm currently staying at a mates temporarily until I can find somewhere to call home, and would defs be keen to start a super awesome new share house with others . I am a happy person with a sense of humour (I think..). I'm a fairly casual lad, neat, thoughtful of others and wouldn't have a problem with a social living environment(men and/or women). I've also come to Melbourne for the culture and music etc. Happy to share more if needed 😄 thanks
Hi, my name is Dave, and I am looking for a studio, 1 bedroom apartmment, granny flat long term (12 mths or more). I am 35 yrs old, work in Pascoe Vale for a medical company. Hi, I've got accommodation lined up, but am not able to move in yet because of house repairs that are due to commence next week. I'm chill and laid back, just getting myself settled into Melbourne really. I enjoy fiddling with a guitar from time to time, and cooking Cajun meals. I'm generally pretty quiet, but enjoy socializing. I'm currently on the job hunt, so that will probably be taking up most of my time during my stay. Can pay the rent up front. One week or two is fine. Open to extending if the repairs drag on. Drop me a line! Thanks, Ben
I am a Colombian girl who is going to study a Master in Monash University . I am looking for a place where I can feel as home . I love doing excercise I practice it every single day. Also I enjoy going out with friendes and practice outdoor excercise as running .
I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working non-stop for the past few months, and am looking for a sharehouse in Melb. I spent 8 months here last year payin between $600-$1200 per week for serviced accomodation, so am looking at something different this year to enjoy financial freedom. I would love an apartment building that has a gym, and pool/tennis court as I love swimming and tennis. Alternatively, somewhere with a beach would be great too. I always clean up after myself straight after using the kitchen, and am friendly and easy going. I am starting my second university degree in March after completing my bachelor of accounting already.
I am from Ireland and have been living in sunbury for the last few years. Im renting at the minute but i am interested in shared housing. Im very clean and hardly ever home as i go to uni in the city and work evenings in hospitality. Im pretty chilled and have shared houses before with no issues.
Hey all, Looking for a place in Melbourne while I finish my course in 4 months. I am fully employed at the airport as a trainee air traffic controller and paid a salary wage. I am fun, friendly and easy to get along with. I am a clean and quiet individual. I am happy to share meals, a few drinks and hang out, but also adaptable in the regard of respecting people's space and belongings. I usually enjoy going out for lunch with friends, listening to music, watching documentaries and where not studying, spending my weekend seeing new things. Looking for a quiet location reasonably close to the airport. I'd prefer a place to share with one or two others, but open to all possibilities. Hoping you consider me as your housemate :)
Working in security, also part time actor looking for accomodation. Very organised, clean and respectfully private. Also friendly and like to have a chat and keep in touch with Housemates, but generally independent. Avid film & tv buff and also gamer. Look forward to meeting like minded people to share with.
I am from Vietnam and I like manga and anime and I really like Japan (I think who loves manga and anime do love Japan and its culture). I am sure to be tidy, friendly and respect other space and privacy.
Hey, I'm Emma and I'm a full time student studying the Doctorate of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. I had two years at St Hildas College and last year was in a share house in Brunswick. I would love to live in this area again but am open to other locations in close proximity to Melbourne Uni. I'm extremely independent and motivated, but also love to have fun and socialise! I do modelling casually when it can fit in around uni. I also have parental garuntee so bills and rent will always be on time! Look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hi, we're two undergrad students currently attending the University of Melbourne. We prioritise cleanliness and privacy, so we can ensure little disturbance and interference with your life, and that no mess is left behind. On special occasions, we would also love to get to know our housemates through shared meals. In our free time, we love nothing more than bingeing series & movies like every other typical introverts.
Hello there, I'm looking for a place to share. Male or Female is fine. I have a 13 year old cat who is very well behaved and very friendly. He also has hyperthyroidism which means i have to give him his tablet twice daily in his food. i would like something that at least has a court yard so he can still sun bake. A little about me.
