I'm Malaysian born, based in Adelaide for the past 5 years. Relocating to Melbourne late January/ early Feb for work. I'm a super friendly, easy-going kinda girl. I'm tidy and respectful of other's privacy and personal space. I'm only looking for a furnished place with off-street parking. An ensuite would be a bonus! :)
Hi, I’m Ben! I’m a software developer currently living in Parkville. By day I work full time for an agency making iPhone apps, and by night I’m involved in musical theatre, both on and off the stage. In my down time you’ll usually find me playing piano (with headphones if it's a bother of course), enjoying a video game, or cooking with a wine in hand. I am tidy, friendly, and enjoy sharing the occasional wine and meal with my housemates. If you think this nerd would be a good fit for your place, please send me a message!
Hello! Looking for a place to live around Richmond/ Hawthorn area in late January. Im a pretty down to earth chick. Pros- im social, active and look to study and work so i wont be in the house all that much. Its hard to vouch for yourself but my friends think Im not too bad and old people think Im nice. Looking to Study at Deakin as well as do some training in the CBD so I am hoping to score a place in the middle. I am from Alice Springs ( i know, so exotic) and currently here until the 22ndd of Jan. What I enjoy here is hiking and riding my bike and I am hoping to take my passions and apply it to the Victorian way of life. Hope to hear from you!
Hi everybody. I'm a 24 year-old part-time student and wine-selling person. I'm currently doing my Masters in Social Policy at Melbourne Uni. I've lived in sharehouses in Carlton and Fitzroy North in the past and want to live somewhere northside again. I'm keen on basically anywhere north of the city but south of Bell St. Budget is ~$170/week max and on-street parking and a nearby train or tram are musts. I'd be most interested in living with other people around my own age. I'm house trained and am not a dickhead. I have a sick vinyl collection and I play guitar in a joke band in my spare time so it would be cool to live with other people who were musically-inclined.
Hi! Moved to Melbourne last year from Byron Bay and currently living in Ascot Vale, but looking for a new place to call home. I'm working two part-time jobs, one in hospitality and the other at a record label based in Byron Bay. I enjoy health and fitness, music, video games, cooking, TV shows, reading and socializing. I cherish my alone time but I'm often up for social events like evening drinks or breakfasts, lunches, etc. I love to chat and casually hang out but I'll always respect people's space and privacy. I would describe myself as clean and tidy but not OCD, friendly and fun but respectful, easy going and adventurous but hard working and focused. Rent and bills paid on time every time and moving date is very flexible. Thanks, Reuben.
Friendly and honest D&D playing guy from the country, looking for a place around halfway through the year, as I'm planning on going to VU. Must be okay with having trans occupants, but don't really want to move into an exclusively queer house. Furnished or unfurnished is fine, but I'd like to be able to put up a poster or two.
Exercise and health fanatic! Absolutely love animals - I have a little puppy who is well trained and is an indoor and outdoor dog. I work as a personal trainer. Love camping, hikes, dancing, socialising, reading, photographing, yoga, music and travelling amongst other things. I'm generally quite a neat person, but not OCD about it. Life has its busy moments! Super friendly and bubbly!
**PLEASE NOTE - AVAILABLE TO MOVE 1ST OF FEB*** *I will be flying down again within the next two weeks, I am also happy to Skype-video call also as soon as possible, looking to lock in a place asap* Moving to Melbourne from Sydney as I am starting a new full time role for a large corporate firm in Docklands. I am really easy going, friendly, love to cook and clean and love a tidy home. Pet friendly, enjoy keeping fit and active, enjoy company of others, can be social as well as enjoy my nights in also.

Hi I'm Nelly. 24 year old professional female. I've just moved back to melbourne from sydney and I'm currently looking for a place to move into for 6 months. I'm a hairstylist / makeup artist. I'm very laid and down to earth. I can be sociable and outgoing but I do like my personal space. I'm currently rediscovering melbourne again so on the weekends I'm normally out at work or somewhere with family and friends. If I sound like a potential roommate please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks :) X
Hi! My name is Anna, I am a full-time masters of architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I would enjoy a fun, social house - with some shared meals and cooking (I'm vegetarian). I like to focus on study during the week, but also do yoga, go for walks, drink cups of tea and chat, see friends - and I like to go out on the weekends for some beers. I like to keep things very clean and keep rent and bills all happening on time.
Hey! I'm 21 and currently studying science at Melbourne Uni and working part time (that's me on the right). I'm an outgoing, hard working and friendly person and looking for a place to call home. I lived in America mid 2014- end 2015 where I attended a private research University on scholarship for 1.5 years so I know what it's like to live out of home and the dynamics of a share house/apartment. Im clean, respectful and organised and would prefer to live with people who are similar in this way. Few of my hobbies/interests include rnb music, hanging out at the beach with my dog (won't be coming with me), learning Japanese, cooking, and staying fit (swimming and running espec). I competed in International athletics as a junior from ages 16-20 including Div 1 NCAA so I'd be keen on a game of backyard cricket or basketball in my downtime. I'm very social and enjoy catching up with friends on the weekend to explore bars or go to a gig/comedy. Im not a big drinker but definitely enjoy a glass of wine or two with good company. 2-4 housemates would be ideal 😊 LGBT friendly and all of that of course. No smokers please. Looking for something at least 6 months - year. Shoot me a message if I sound like a good fit! Cheers
Hi Guys, i have a secure career and have lived out of home for many years now. I am looking to join a friendly share house that will welcome me and my very well trained dog Lola (we attend obedience every week). Lola will only be with me every second week and is extremely well natured and well, a bit lazy! I can sometimes work long hours and enjoy a getting out and about to see friends and keeping up on my many hobbies. I don't live the 'party lifestyle' but am always up for a chat while I also love my quiet time. I am very easy going, respect others and can't leave the house without a clean kitchen! I would love to hear from you!
I'm a laid back and friendly Kiwi! I'm passionate about my creative projects and I have a steady income which keeps me busy. I'm tidy, courteous and hope to add a positive energy to anywhere I move in to! Feel free to message me with any questions you may have!
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2014 to pursue academic and career goals. Within the last year I have had to step back from full time work due to increasing study commitments. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laidback. Preferred social setting is definitely a café/restaurant, although I do enjoy a sneaky night out once in a while. I currently work split shift 5.00am - 8.00 and 3.00pm - 7.00pm with school in between so I'm normally the first out of the house and first to bed but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you Pat
We are married couple from India. We are married for 2 years now. We are neat and tidy persons and respect others privacy. We are friendly easy going adaptive couple. Looking for a flat sharing.
Hailing from Toronto, Canada! I've been in Melbourne for a month now. Staying for at least a year. I work for a charity here, studied Law back home. I enjoy old-school music, a drink with cool people and new places. I'm looking to live with friendly people who enjoy sharing interesting stories and experiences, but also appreciate an individual's need for space at certain times. Balance is key. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi! We are Leon (30) and Monika (28) and a couple of 2 years. I am Australian and Monika is Polish (fluent in English and French as well). We have previously lived in Sweden, Scotland, France and Poland respectively and now we'll be in Australia for the forseeable future. I have returned to Oz after 3 years away and Monika is experiencing Melbourne for the first time. I'm working part-time and also studying. Monika has her Masters in Sociology & Film Studies and works part-time. We love movies, gigs and the beach. Naturally travelling is very important to us too. I skew closer to more of a bookworm and Monika is all about culture (events, festivals) and nature (again, beach!). I like to think we are easygoing people with a broad range of interests. We've previously both lived alone, together, in sharehouses and student dormitories so we know the deal of different living situations and how to adjust to make it enjoyable for everyone. Kindness and respect above all are qualities important to us. As well as a balance of socialising and privacy, friendliness, cleanliness and a sense of humour! :)
I'm a third year student studying philosophy / politics. I spend most of my time reading and blurting out terrible puns. I don't smoke.I also like music, most often found within the broad genres of indie-pop and melodic hardcore / metalcore I lived at college previously, so I can do the whole communal living schtick. I'm a relaxed, open minded and respectful person. LGBT+ friendly
22, moving back to Melbourne to study sculpture at RMIT, always down for a brew, clean, able to pay rent on time, always cook enough food to have leftovers for days, and a fan of the occasionally boogie in the kitchen & indoor plants.
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
Well hello mates! I will be starting my first year at RMIT University (Melbourne City Campus) in first week of February,2017. I am an Indian and will be pursuing a bachelors in Digital media. Well I'm an outgoing, friendly and reliable person. Above anything you would always find me clean and tidy. I am a music enthusiast who enjoys a good company, travel/exploration and jam sessions. My interest also includes fitness, attending live gigs, short adventures, etc. When it comes to other people, I understand the concept of personal space/privacy and expect the others to understand it as well. I also enjoy cooking and binge-watching Netflix on weekends or free days. In short, I'm considerate and supportive for the people who've always been a helping hand. Also, there will be no issues on my end when it comes to rent, bills and payment. I'm looking forward to stay somewhere long term. Please feel free to contact me. Cheers!

I am looking for a place to share with ensuite or seperate bathroom or granny flat, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am fun to be with, sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. Independent, clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples boundaries and expect the same from others. Friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally. In my free time, I go jogging and help with various charities. Hello future housemates, My name is Caity, I'm 23 and I'm from Adelaide. But for the past two years I've been living abroad in Manchester in the UK. I got to travel pretty extensively through Europe and have now been to 28 countries. I work mainly in hospitality, I'm currently working at Kooza which is the Cirque du Soleil show at the Flemington racecourse. I'm in search for accomodation for a few weeks, from the 11th of march until the 29th of march. I enjoy cooking and baking, being adventurous, going for walks and hikes, reading, watching a good tv show (probably too many) and going out for a good coffee date. I fancy myself a pretty laid back person, I enjoy spending time with the people I live, sharing a meal and a bottle of wine every now and then. While also having personal space and being able to veg out in my room all day sometimes. So if you have a spare room that fits my short term requirement please get in touch with me.
Well apart from being laidback, tidy and organised, I love to socialise and cook, go on adventures, or just chill at home quietly. I draw in my free time, which will make me millions any day now.... Also I travel to Europe once a year and I manage an Aldi (which means you get priority on limited specials, which is really what we all want in life)
Hi, we're moving to Melbourne early Feb 2017. We are two lovely Scottish nurses looking for a place to stay not too far from the city, close to public transport. We would make great housemates, we are clean and tidy, considerate and reliable and are used to living with other people. We're fun and friendly and are looking forward to meeting new people in Melbourne. We are looking for either 2 rooms or a room to share. Hope to hear from you soon! Pamela & Mhairi x
Hi, My name is Mon and I am 21. I live in Perth and I am moving to Melbourne to do a dance teacher's certificate. I am a contemporary dancer and a yoga teacher. I have a passion for the arts. I am very respectful and self- aware. I consider myself to be very friendly and open minded. I am very tidy and responsible.
I currently work part time in a cafe. I enjoy art stuff and spend most of my time with my girlfriend. Ideally, I'd like to find a home where I can have my girlfriend stay over when I'm home (I'd likely stay with her for most nights of the week). I've live in two share houses before and have never experienced any problems. I am reliable, clean, friendly and a great cook.
I'm a student that's moving to Melbourne soon and looking for somewhere to stay. I'll be studying my JD at Melbourne Uni so am looking for somewhere close by or with good public transport options. I have lived in share houses before and am easy to get along with!
Raised in Bendigo, I moved to Melbourne a few years ago for study and am in love with the food culture. I go Latin dancing with my boyfriend but am a bit of a homebody and love a good Netflix sesh or chilling out with a book. As a housemate, I'm tidy, friendly and happy to adapt to the household's rules/vibe. I'm planning to move overseas around July 2017 so only looking for a stay of a few months, preferably somewhere furnished as I've sold most of my furniture already. I don't mind the location too much, as long as it's close to public transport as I work in the CBD. Hit me up if you think we'd be a match!
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
I am a 24 year old working professional that took a break from work to travel for several months. I am looking for a homely share house close to my new job. I am a really friendly, sociable and easy person to live with. I enjoy cooking together or having a chat with a wine/tea, but I also like my own space. I like to keep things tidy and clean and am happy to do my share of the chores. If you have a room available and think we will get along, please send me a message.
I'm super laidback, from Brisbane, am a philosophy graduate so always! keen for a chat, all about being positive because life's short, I don't drink or smoke unless there's good music, I'll be working or researching most of the time but always have time for a cup of tea or some afternoon chills, I love everyone and respect all cultures and identities, etc. Am happy to eat vegan if you're household is vegan. That's it really! Just looking for a room until my friend gets down to melbourne around april and we get a house :) I'm keen to get hiking and camping around victoria on my weekends/days off so if that's your thing, even better!
Hi, I'm Charley. I'm 25, female, work full time, spend weekends catching up with friends, evenings its a toss up between Netflix and Gym or if a long day at work then a glass of wine.
Easy going/laid back Kiwi. Clean, tidy and respectful. Financially stable - Great References if required. I work full-time from 2-10pm. I love cooking and listening to music in my spare time but also love getting out and having a few beers!
Easygoing and able to get along with everyone, wanting a warm and friendly share house. INFJ that would love to hang out with housemates but also values alone time. Love to cook and happy to share it with my housemates too!
I am a 27 year old social worker who works full time hours Monday to Friday as a Family Support Worker for an NGO. I was born and raised in Brunswick but I have lived in Moonee Ponds for the past 7 years so I know both areas very well. I also spend a lot of my spare time hanging out in Northcote. My job takes up most of my time as I also run support/education groups that I need to prepare for. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm always happy to share as I tend to make enough to feed an army! I also enjoy watching Netflix and going to the movies, eating out at local Mexican resturants and cafes, hanging out with my younger siblings, having a cheeky Vodka or wine, dancing and being outdoors and I like to try new things via laneway learning. Why live with me: I am a very organised person who will always pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. I like my alone time but also want a place I can feel comfortable to hang out in the communal spaces and have a chat or go for a drink with my housemates. I am quiet, although, I do like to blast my music when I clean but I am always conscious of other people in the house. I am looking for a place to call home long term. I also can come with furniture so let me know what you need and I'm sure I'll have it.
Hi there, I'm a 26 year old male, working as an IT project manager in South Melbourne. Lease is expiring at our current rental so looking to move somewhere in the same area Pretty easy going and respectful, but enjoy socialising and sharing a meal. Also enjoy traveling, cycling and watching the footy! Currently have furnishings for a bedroom, but nothing else, so looking for a place/ team up where that would fit in Also I don't have a car so parking isn't an issue Cheers, Ben
HI, we are a tidy, friendly couple. I'm Cappy, Italian, and my partner Fiona is English-Australian. We have been living in Melbourne since almost 3 years. We both work full time in the city. We are looking for a place tidy, calm and cozy. We love sharing meals and good time but we also know how important is to respect spaces. We like chilling home, enjoying some party time but also just rest. If you think we can fit in your place... Let's try :)
Hi there, I’m Jess, a mid-twenties woman seeking a new abode to call home for a year, getting back into the health industry professionally after travelling a bit in 2016. I love a good laugh, having great conversations with others about experiences, philosophy, science, systems and nature. I like getting current with my housemates world and am a low maintenance kind of person, humble, clean and respectful of people’s belongings and personal time as well. I like to practice yoga and dancing, am into art platforms such as dancing, documentaries, paintings, sculptures, colour, nature, journalism publications, film and food. Heavy metal music is not my cup of joy personally, but like all other music genre. I am looking to move into a nice private room (whether existing or starting up a share-house) in the inner North and/or inner East suburbs by early Feb. Max budget $180 per week including bills, or some bills. A place that has space to move around in, some greenery, friendly people to co-habitat with that are independent, enjoy establishing good connections with those they interact with, and are considerate of others time, habits and ideas will be suitable. I am open to teaming up with like-minded folks interested in establishing a chill, easy- going environment to live in as well, so message me if you’re searching for a new place also with the suburbs I’ve tagged, and think we’d make a good fit. [I’ve minimal furniture to offer (only bedroom furniture, crockery, a blender and a table) but willing to resourcefully set up a house with others for the things we each require] A bathroom with a separate toilet will be a bonus, including a gas cooker, and a green patch nearby the property, or within it. I also do not have a car, so looking for a place close to PT, 15 minute walk max to a train station. I've share housing experience also and always proactive with paying rent and shared bills on time, and will continue at the next place I move to. Thank you for taking the time to read my description. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting good vibe people, Jess

I am a very clean and conscientious person who respects people's property and space. I work part time at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre doing research in Parkville and train for athletics 6 days a week so am pretty busy. I am just looking for somewhere short term as am going to the States to train and compete in Athletics in April. I would say I am more on the quiet side than the loud side but like to have a chat as much as the next person. Any questions please let me know.
I am a friendly individual who is quiet and tidy. Always up for a chat, but also respectful of others privacy and downtime. I work for myself as a videographer and I like to keep busy and contribute to weekly household duties, but in my spare time I enjoy watching/making movies, listening to music and playing video games. My move date and stay length are both flexible.
I'm a friendly, clean and easy going housemate. I'm moving closer to work as my current lease is ending and I'd like to live somewhere more convenient. I work as a research support officer at The Royal Melbourne Hospital full time so I'm out of the house during the week. My hobbies include latin dancing which you can find me doing at least two nights a week, on weekends I can be found going for walks and catching up with friends. I keep pretty busy but always make time to ensure that where I'm living is clean. I'd like to get along with my housemates so it feels a bit more like a home and on occasion have a chat and a drink.
I'm a professional guy. I work in the Commercial side of a major airline in Asia Pacific. The last 6 months I've been back and forth to Singapore and Manila working on a Finance Transformation Program. I'm very easy going and travel a lot for leisure and work. My lease on my current apartment is ending in a few months and I'd like to save for 2-3 months as I'm looking to potentially buy a place soon, so I'm seeing who's out there to meet up for coffee and discuss suitability of living with you. Generally prefer females, as I like living in a clean and tidy house. For me it's about the people you live with and getting along well, so a coffee catch up is required. Please contact me and let's catch up.
We are an easy-going and fun couple looking for a new place to call home. We both work at Melb Uni (Charlie in Malaria research and Martyn in international relations), so we would ideally like to live somewhere with easy access to public transportation (walking distance would be awesome!). We have a bit of furniture and a few appliances, but if the apt/room is furnished, we would be able to sell some of what we have collected over the years. The lease for our current place is up mid-February. We are hoping to find a place that we can move into sometime in February, before the 12th. About us: We both love to cook, go out occasionally and spend our time outdoors when the weather cooperates. We both have lots of experience living in share houses (both social and respect others' privacy). Hope to hear from you soon!
Im am a 19yr old full time student, I am tidy and will keep to my self mostly. I am always up for a drink. I come with netflix and Stan
Hi, I'm friendly and very easy going. I am currently working in the construction industry and usually work 5-6 days p/w. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle during the week as I train at the gym regularly and am awake quite early in the morning so I am looking for a fairly quiet home, but on weekends don't mind a drink or two. Hope to hear from you guys. Regards Adrian
