Hey everyone! I'm looking to see if someone (preferably female) would like to team up and hunt for a place together to co-sign. Ideally I would like to be in the Essendon/or surrounding suburbs area, but I'm also open to living elsewhere for the right place. I don't want to live any more than a 20 minute train ride to the city as I'm from a small town with next to no public transport, so being stuck on a train with no personal space with people who don’t understand what bad hygiene means, is not my idea of a good time 😅 I’d like to live with someone who’s interested in a friendship, not just a house mate. Enjoys a wine with dinner during the week but knows the difference between a binge drink and just having a social drink to wind down the day. I’m up for going out and having a good time every now and then, but I’m not one to have a big night every weekend. I’d rather spend money on being active and exploring what Victoria has to offer (etc. seeking out hiking trails or waterfalls) I’d rather go camping on weekends with good company and being present in the moment without the distraction of electronics. Hopefully, my future roomie also enjoys seeking out funky cafes for a satisfying breakie and coffee on weekends too! I love cooking! So if you’re interested in doing groceries together for weekly meals, I’m happy to do so but I’m also happy to keep it separate. I’m a vegetarian, so I’ll only cook vego/vegan meals but I don’t mind if my house mate eats meat. I have a very ‘each to their own’ outlook on life, so if you choose to eat meat, feel free to do so, but that also means keeping your opinion to yourself when it comes to my choice of food. By no means am I a preacher on vego/veganism but I will go to town on you if you have an opinion on the subject 🙃 I work in an 8-5 Mon-Fri corporate environment and I have a 4 year old Russian Blue cat named Ollie who is my baby. She’s shy at first until she gets to know you, and she’s your typical temperamental cat who will only cuddle if it’s on her terms. BUT when she does want a cuddle, be prepared to be her couch if you’re just lying around. Tell me about yourself and what you’re looking for in a house mate and we can go from there!
Hi, I am a Colombian Graduate Architect who used to live in Brissie and now decided to move to Melbourne. I am looking for a nice, clean, well-located place to call home. I am definitely not after a party house, but don't mind if there are a few gatherings along the way. I like sports, movies, going out for a walk or ride, and of course, having a pint with friends. During the last 5 years, I have shared houses with people from a variety of backgrounds and this has been a wonderful experience since I've learnt about people, places and traditions.
I’m an easy going housemate who loves travelling and adventures. I moved back to Australia a year ago after living abroad for a couple of years and work in HR for an engineering consultancy. Looking for a room in a shared house with relaxed, easy going and friendly housemates 😊. I’ll be looking for a new home in mid November.
I am 27yo high school teacher, working full time (besides the leisurely school holiday periods). I am very friendly, bubbly and social, but also like and respect others down time and need some quiet time myself occasionally. I am a non-smoker, don't have any pets, do have a car and am LGBTQI+ friendly. Interests include: Socialising over food/drinks, brunch is my favourite meal of the day! Visiting Art Galleries Photography I love the beach, and will spend most, if not all warm summer days there. Among other things. I am looking for a neat and tidy, yet relaxed environment with some sociable housemates who are open minded and can also respect other's needs. Other working professionals of a similar age would be preferred but not mandatory.
Hello, My name is Anja, I'm Thai/Australian, 26 and have been living in shared houses for 8 years - fully house trained! I’m pretty neat (not a freak, lets say house proud). I'm a full time professional in the CBD. My partner’s name is Jim, he’s 22, works as a full-time chef and the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. We have been living together for a year and half. I'm a big fan of respecting boundaries but always up for a chat/drink/random outing. Otherwise I'm cooking, camping, traveling, gardening or with my friends. Jim's always down for a drink, otherwise he's usually cooking, camping, or traveling with me 😉 We smoke, but are respectful of where we do and where the butts end up. I have some of my own furniture, so hopefully you have a bit of storage space. If not, I'm happy to arrange to store this elsewhere! I have quite a green thumb as well, so I'd love it if you had a garden. If not, I hope you're okay with indoor plants. Would love to arrange an inspection if you think we'd be a good fit! Anja and Jim
I come from China and I'm studying game design at RMIT. I'm a neat freak and I always clean my room and public areas. I'm quiet so I hope to find a quiet and clean environment to live in.
Young and active Nurse, moving to the city for work. I enjoy being social but also value privacy and my own company. About me : 23, almost 24, year old. Nurse, so shift worker. Yay! Relocating to Melbourne for work. Bit of a dork, love a good Netflix binge and a cheeky red wine or two. Veteran at the share house game.
I am friendly and clean and all my hobbies are quiet ones. I cook about a dozen recipes very well. I work in emergency services so am thoroughly police-checked. I work shift work with occasional evening and night shifts. I have no pets myself at the moment, but would love it if you did. Except spiders. Please don't contact me if you keep spiders as pets. That's messed up.
G’Day I’m Nic, I’m 30 and I need to leave the nest 😅. I’m an Apprentice Carpenter so handy if anything needs fixing. I’m also a professional dancer so you can get dinner and a show sometimes 😂. Love to get to the beach for a surf, get out and socialise with friends but also enjoy chilling out recharging and binge watching everything! A little shy at first until I get to know someone and I’m a clean and tidy house mate. Here’s to meeting my new house mates 🍺🤙🏼
