I am super quiet, very clean and tidy and really only need this place for 2-3, max 4 nights per week. The rest of the days I'll be in Geelong helping nan out. I work nightshift therefor will arrive home in between 6-830 in the mornings and sleep almost of the day, so you'll barely know I'm there 😊🌻💁🏾
I'm 21 looking for a female around the same age to move into an apartment or town house with in Dec/Jan. I work full time as a beauty therapist. If I'm not home I'm usually at the gym or out and about with my friends. If you want to know more just contact me 😊
I am currently working full time in the CBD. I work Mon-Fri and generally go to the gym most nights so am home fairly late during the week. I enjoy going to the gym, socialising with friends and family and watching a good movie. I am an AFL fan and enjoy watching most sports I am also partial to a wine or two to relax (NZ Sav Blanc preferred ;-) I would prefer to share with someone who can have a good laugh, is positive, respectful and clean.
Hi, we're an Aussie/Irish couple in our mid-20's looking for a room in inner Melbourne. We're tidy, easy-going and sociable... hoping to find somewhere friendly where we can hang out in the living room, watch TV, share a drink and play the odd board/card game. Michael is studying Masters and working as an accountant, Hannah has just finished uni and is doing a bit of work/study before a backpacking trip in a few months. Pop us a message if it sounds like a good fit!
I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.
We are a lovely couple from overseas. We are mature students (will be study PhD at the University of Melbourne), have no kid and don’t have any plan to have one soon. Mostly spend most of the daytime at the Uni and work part-time occasionally. We are looking for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms in a shared flat/house, and looking for another couple to team up. As the budget suggests, we're looking a bit moderate to high standards accommodation and also a respectful couple to be shared with. We are easy-going and love to go out to explore the city with friends/flatmates. We enjoy travelling / watching films-tv / music / dinner with friends during the weekends. We are clean, tidy and organised, always clean after ourselves or even clean the share space.
I'm a full-time student of Unimelb and a single mother with a kid, going to ballet classes after school. Busy during the week and love outdoors on the weekend. Also I teach Russian. I'm looking for a female flatmate with a kid too or just loving children. Usually my daughter is cheerful and not noisy at all. We're excited about moving to a new place (and the country) to explore it.
Im a 21 year old male student, very clean and respectful person. Have lived under share houses prior and understand the expectations. Im a down to earth person, easy to get along with and respectful of others and their space. I enjoy going to the gym and going out with friends on weekends.
We are moving from NZ to Melbourne for work on the 2nd of November and are looking for short-term accommodation (2-4 weeks) in a double bedroom. We want to be able to view the room, meet housemates, check out location etc prior to confirming a longer stay anywhere. We're both in our mid 20s, active, enjoy the outdoors, both pretty quiet during the week and like to catch up with friends for food/drink in the weekend. One of us has a full-time job lined up as a retail manager so paying rent won't be an issue. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or have a room for us. We're currently in Bali so unfortunately we can only communicate via email. Thanks! Jonathon & Sian
Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
Hi :) I am a friendly, positive, respectful individual looking to reside in the same environment and start a new chapter. Currently I am a Office Coordinator, but am looking to change careers and go back to study. I'm female, in my late 20s, love baking, animals, being creative and talking about whatever topics you like! I'm fun and serious in equal measure :) I clean up after myself and respect privacy.
I am an easy-going and friendly Primary School Teacher that loves her sport! I have lived in a shared apartment for 4 years so I understand the need to be courteous to your housemates. I mostly work during the day and am at soccer training/ games in the evenings and weekends as I've just been signed for Melbourne Victory's Women's Team. Looking to move into something a little closer to work, with more space than my current tiny apartment and a backyard to use in the warmer weather. I generally keep to myself but also enjoy socialising with the people I live with and having the occasional beer or dinner. Would love to find a place with like-minded people :)
Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Finding a new housie to share a wine or laugh with would be a bonus! I work hard and in my spare time I enjoy coffee with friends, finding a new cafe try and anything outdoors. Ideally looking to find someone to start a sharehouse or an unfurnished room! Looking forward to meeting you :) Looking to move Dec 16- Jan 17
Hi guys, My name is Balaji and am a 27 year old. I am a photovoltaic engineer and a full time working professional in a leading power electronic manufacturing company in Tullamarine. I have been in Melbourne for around 2 years. I live in Craigieburn at the moment and my lease will be getting over next month. I am a pretty laid-back and chilled person, pay my bills & rents on time and will keep the house neat & tidy. Looking for a housemate with a similar mindset. I love cooking food, try new recipes, enjoy few drinks with my housemates during weekends. If you have a house to rent where we can team up, please drop me a message or give me a call. I am more than happy to have a chat and proceed further. Cheers, Balaji
Hi, I'm Riley. I'm a 23 year old, female, and currently looking for a room to rent. I currently work part-time in Moonee Ponds as a beauty therapist and study animation full-time in South Melbourne. I'm tidy, friendly and respectful. I'm rarely at home, but when I am I'm drawing/studying in my room. I'm looking for somewhere to create a home and have a nice environment to come home to. I don't bring many people over or anything as I resepct my roommates may not want that. I like to double check things if possible. I am quiet and easy-going, however I like to cook and have movie nights.
Hi, I'm a 25 year old guy looking for somewhere to live in the north-western suburbs of Melbourne from the 23rd of October onwards (flexible with dates). I'll be working full-time, and ideally would like a room that isn't tiny, with a maximum rent of $230 per week. I'm friendly, easy-going, organised (rent always paid on time), a non-smoker, clean and quiet. I have extensive experience in sharehouses and would prefer housemates around my own age. Message or text me if you can help me out or have any questions and I'll reply promptly. Thanks!
I'm 31 years old, in Tech Sales and occasionally drive for Uber. I have lived by myself for the past 12 months, which has been great, but I am also missing the social benefits of a share house. I am a calm natured guy and often described as kind and considerate. Cats make me really itchy, so I will have to pass up if you have one. I have some household stuff that I am happy to bring with me (TV, Kitchen Stuff, BBQ, Fridge, Washer/Dryer etc), Otherwise I will store it away. I am looking to move into a place in early November.
I'm an accounting student at Victoria Uni. Born and brought up in Botswana. I've lived at the UniLodge in Footscray for the past year and am looking for somewhere else to stay. I'm easy going, fun, and clean :)
I'm a full time professional working in facilities management at Essendon Fields. I'm a very clean and respectable person who loves their downtime but also doesn't mind a drink and a chat. Swing me a message if you're keen on teaming up to find a place.
28 Single Non smoker 7 months pregnant Looking to move out of home for the first time on my own. I need somewhere safe/secure for when bub arrives Someone that has a property where a new born will not be an issue Close to transport as I do not drive And prefer to live on my own Granny flat with kitchen facility would be ideal but I am open to other offers. Do not want a room in a shared house (no negotiation) I want my complete own space with my baby. Do not want a place where there are pets (no negotiation) I need to be in the West/North West Suburbs of Melbourne so please don't offer if the property is not within that region of Melb. Thank you.
Hi there! I'm an easy going, clean and mature housemate looking for a room to call home from 27 October to 8 December, with the possibility of extending. I'm not fussed as to whether the room is furnished or not, but do need to be within walking distance to public transport. I'm originally from Tassie and have been renting in Melbourne for the last five years. I currently work full-time in marketing and merchandising. I enjoy a laugh and a chat but also value and respect personal space. I'm an active person and a big foodie, so in my free time I'm often eating out or exercising. I'm very mindful of energy use and recycling. If you think I could be a good fit for your home, please get in touch!
Hi we are Rachael and Shannon (intern psychologist and a site manager). We would like to team up with someone to find a 3 bedroom home that we will fully furnish and rent out the 2nd room to you. We would like to leave our 3rd room as a spare/office. Our preferred budget is $450 up to $500 max. So your room may cost anywhere between $200-250. And we would like for you to help us in the searching & application process so that we can all move in at the same time. Will will first apply for a 6 month lease in case we are not happy with the house or area. But the idea is for it to be long term for us & hopefully you! Rachael is a psychology intern and works long days 4 days per week. Shannon is often out of town every second weekend. We lead a fairly busy lifestyle between work, gym and our family/friends living out of town. We are a respectful, friendly, easy going couple who pride ourselves in being neat and tidy & never a hastle to live with. We enjoy going to gym, markets, cafes, the occasional night out or just relaxing. We are looking for someone who can have a chat, a laugh & share the occasional catch up when we are all in the home. And importantly to Rachael a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy. Importantly to Shannon who works long hours someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels. We will be looking for a 3 bedroom, preferably 2 bathroom home with a double lock up garage (but that will be for Shannon & my cars only sorry). If you think you would like to team up to find a place with us please send a message!
I'm a fun and considerate housemate. I've recently finished a job in country Vic working full-time for the last 10 years. I'm heading back to Melb for work and would love to team up with someone to find my feet. I'm great with cleaning and tricky stains are my speciality (so I'm told! haha) I love indoor plants and making a comfortable home everywhere I go. I enjoy cooking but am no masterchef - happy to jump in a give it a go!
Two young foxy ladies (lmao joking), one working full time in the CBD; one studying nursing and working on a permanent part-time basis, looking for a new share house to move into.
Easy going guy who likes to keep a pretty clean space, enjoys cooking and socialising with a quiet drink. I have brand new appliances to basically furnish an empty house if required. I work full time and do play sport so I'm always reasonably busy.
Hey, My names Rita I am 21, I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide 6 months ago. I am a full time student studying law and business at Vic Uni and also work part time at Zara. I am very sociable, easy to get along with and respectful of space, belongings and cleanliness. My lease at my current share house runs out in mid November, but I can move anytime before that. I would ideally like to move somewhere close to public transport to make it more convenient for work and Uni. If you have any question please don’t hesitate to message me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hey, My names Dave and I have another mate Jac, we're currently looking for some extra people to build a share house. We're looking at houses in the North Melb, Footscray, Kensington, and Brunswick areas (and surrounding). We're pretty chill people who actually want to start dabbling in some pub trivia, and love a beer/cider or a few. Dave is studying to become a paramedic with fantastic puns its almost punishable..... and Jac is a sea kayaking instructor so thats a paddlin, so we are super outdoorsy and keen for hikes, camping and other adventures! also we are looking to get into some fitness so some more friendly competition would be swell Dave also has an extremely loveable dog named Ollie who is an outside dog and an all round massive spud. if ya keen shoot us a message on hear or via interpretive dance what ever is easier
**Please read before messaging me - Need two rooms as I am a single mother with a 7 year old son name Liam. Currently looking for a safe environment and place for me and my son to call home. Have separated recently and our current lease at the moment ends early next year. Preferably looking for a female to share with or even better with a couple with kids or a single parent. I am 30 years old and work full time in the city, so looking for a place not too far from the CBD will be preferred. I do have a beautiful Kelpie X absolutely adorable with kids, people and other animals and also well behaved. You will find me very easy going and easy to get along with. Do enjoy a good chat from time to time, I have a lot of respect for others and their privacy as well. I do enjoy cooking and I am also a tidy and clean person. If you are wanting to know more about me please do drop me a message and I would be happy to have a chat to discuss more :)
In all honesty I consider myself hard working and mature individual and in the right time will purchase home of my own until then would like to stay in available room. Respectful. Culturally aware. Easy going friendly kind of person! Oh and I will be working 12hr shifts so not the type person to lay around the house all day.

Hi Guys! My name is Emily, I am 23 and I work in recruitment. I am a bit of foodie, love to get in the kitchen or try out new places. Occasionally I might go home to see my family and friends in Ocean Grove on the weekends, otherwise I just chill out and catch up with friends for Brunch. I am always smiling and happy, love meeting new people and having a laugh.
Hey, Hope you are well. My name is Asad and I have moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work purposes. I am 29 years Quality assurance officer and will be working there in Tullamarine area. Pretty clean and tidy easy going guy. Been living in Sydney from past 8 years. Moving down for work. Good cook and really enjoy nice and clean house plus decent company. If you are looking for a tidy, friendly person then drop me a message. Kind regards, Asad Akhlaque.
I'm looking to move to Melbourne to seek employment I'm a great cook and a neat and tidy person I also like to have the occasional drink every now and then I know that everybody needs personal space but would also like to be social and hang out I also love music
Hello. I work as a nurse during the week, and enjoy mountain biking and other outdoor activities over the weekends. I have two mountain bikes and need a secure garage for safe storage.
ABOUT ME: My name is Molly and I'm 31 years old. I am respectful of your space if you need it, and also bubbly and up for a chat, a board game, watching TV or going to the gym together, or sharing a meal if that's what you're into. I like a clean house. I have lived in houses where we had cleaning rosters and that worked. Where I am living now, we just clean up after ourselves and that works too. What doesn't work is mess and disrespect for public spaces! I work full time as a Podiatrist. When I get home from work, you might find me doing one or more of the following: watching TV, working out at the gym, filling in on a netball team, visiting friends/family for dinner, on my laptop, researching, playing sudoku, cooking a delicious fresh healthy meal, or heating up a frozen meal! I am a non-smoker, and only drink occasionally. I would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I recycle, drive a Prius, and like to keep a compost for food scraps. I am looking to live with one or two at most other people. I don't care if you are male or female, as I have lived with both over the years. I care that you are nice, housetrained, respectful, and appreciate my bubbly side! FOOD SHARING AND FURNITURE: I am happy to share communal items such as milk and toilet paper, otherwise I usually prepare my own food. If I make something special a big lasagne, you are welcome to share. I'm fine if you eat the last of my cookies, as long as you replace them! I would love to live in a beautiful bright house, with built in robes (I don't own a wardrobe); and a clean (modern) kitchen and bathroom. I own a bookshelf with glass doors which I love. I have a buffet and hutch, and chest of drawers - both currently at my parents house, which I can keep there if they're not needed. Otherwise I don't own much else as I got rid of everything that I owned when I moved to Queensland, and only took what would fit in my car. So hopefully you would own household items that I can share. DESCRIPTION OF PET: Sophie will be 9 years old in December. She is my fluffy baby - tortoise shell. She sleeps on my bed with me at night. She is very affectionate, and often lies on her back for belly rubs. I don't like kitty litter, so usually leave a window open for her. She has lived with other pets: cats, dogs, egg laying chooks and a bunny. She got along with ex housemates two cats, but doesn't get along with my mums cat! She used to sleep side by side with my ex-boyfriends two dogs, but is scared of my current housemates dog! She and the bunny used to play together. The chooks would dig for worms around her while she lay in the sun. Looking forward to hearing from you !
I'm clean, quiet and keep to myself mostly although I'm up for some interesting chats if u want. I love Nando's and sometimes a few beers.
About Me: Hey! I'm Casey and I am 23 years old. I am originally from Brisbane and have just moved to Melbourne. I work part time in retail, but am due to do full time hours once the school holidays start. I am constantly on the look out for a full time job. I am a friendly, laid back person who loves a good chat, but on the other hand there are those days where I do prefer my own space. I am respectful, clean and always pay bills on time (the usual housemate kind of thing). I am a smoker, but a very respectful outside smoker. I will never do it in the house For fun I don't go out to party. I am not one to go out all that often. I'm a binge watcher of all kinds of TV shows and movies (Oh yes, I have an epic TV and movie collection, Netflix and Stan). When I do go out, I like to see the few friends I have in Melbourne to catch up over a good coffee and some brilliant food. I also have a love of going out to concerts and comedy shows (which I try to go to as many as I can). I am a fun and outgoing person once I come out of my shell. What I am looking for: I'm looking to move into a place that is more like a family. I would like to get along with my potential housemates rather than rarely seeing each other and hiding away in our rooms. Cook ups, a good cider/wine together, movie nights and even nights out together every now and then would be fabulous. Room wise, I am looking for something that will fit a queen bed and other basic bedroom things. I do have my own gear so unfurnished would be best. I can also bring lounges, fridge, washing machine and maybe some other gear if it is needed (can be left behind though if not needed). One other MAJOR thing is that a car space is needed as I have my own car. I do not mind if it is on street or off street parking, as long as I have somewhere to park. If interested please contact me through messages or text with your listing. Please do not call as I prefer to look at the listing first so I can see if the place is right for me.
Hey I'm Tahlia, I have been living in Melbourne for about 6 months with my best friend but unfortunately, she has decided to move back to Adelaide at the end of our lease. I am pretty quiet at first but once you get to know me I will probably talk your ear off and while I would love to be able to hang out with my housemates I am more than happy to give you space when it's needed. I work at Woolworths and when I'm not working I'm usually op shopping or wasting my money on makeup. I like to go out every once in a while but I can find somewhere else to stay when I do so you don't have to worry about looking after a drunk housemate, I also try to visit my family in Adelaide whenever I get a chance so you will get plenty of breaks from me. My lease ends on the 28th of November but I can move anytime from the end of October. Other things I forgot to include, I'm a tidy person, I do smoke but never inside and I don't have a preferred length of stay so it's as long as you'll have me. Anything you want to know just message me.
nothing much about me, i am always working. or giving meditation classes you wont see me at home much. I only come home for sss (shit shave shower) sometimes breakfast. if we like each other we may have drink and have some fun time. if we dont then we dont need to spend time together :-)
Full time employed female, looking for a granny flat to rent (preferably). Clean, easy going, quiet, friendly, smoker (although attempting to quit), ready to move in November to somewhere close to public transport and shops but not too far out of town. I work full time 5 days a week in the city. Looking for easy going people to live with. Male, female, doesn't matter. I'm open minded and have a good sense of humour.
Hi! We are looking for a room in an existing share house or with people aged 20-30 male or female to team up with to find a pet friendly house. We are looking for someone who will be up for a chat and the occasional drink but also respects privacy. My name is Jake and I love Film & TV and have the great chance to work in the industry as well! I'm dedicated to my craft and work hard in a lot of projects. I love to garden, cook and doing dishes is my speciality (dish bitch at three restaurants have helped). I'm very easy to get along with and very respectful of peoples space and property. Georgia is passionate about animals but currently works in retail (pet store) so not the usual mon-fri 9am-5pm job. We have most of the furniture needed for an unfurnished house, including fridge, tv, washing machine and dryer. Georgia has a 1yo Golden retriever cross called Kovu (bonus points if you get the reference). He would prefer a large backyard but could adjust to a smaller one with daily walks. He gets along great with people and most other dogs but is not a fan of staffies as he was bitten by one when he was younger. Jake has a 2yo Pug called Pugsley. He loves everyone and everything and especially food. He cares not for grass.
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My partner lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends. Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere around Melbourne with great connections to the city since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 360 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. It is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 21 (soon 22) from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
I like to live in a clean place, where tasks are shared and people leave the kitchen clean after cooking... Enjoy my privacy, but happy to spend some time chatting and having a glass of wine. I work full-time in the city. Enjoy going camping on the weekends. Some weekends, not all of them :)
Here is a little bit about myself, I am 21 years old, currently enjoying my gap year from studying fashion design at RMIT and working in retail at the moment. I am a pretty chill person, do enjoy to chats and having casual wine every now and then haha, generally clean. If you have any question about me please feel free to ask.
I feel that I'm good to live with because I'm a tidy person but chill, I love my cats, and music and TV. I work casually in a call centre doing surveys, I always work as much as possible. I'm born and raised in Essendon and just came from an apartment in the same suburb with my boyfriend but I am just looking for a happy home for myself and my two cats. Thank you :) (Move date is around 19th of December system wouldn't let me go that far)
I'm friendly and pretty chill. Currently working and doing some study. Love to just hang out and chat or do Netflix/play games, but also equally happy to go for a drink or out somewhere. Into exercising, reading, sports, hanging out with fun people. I'm respectful, house trained and tidy. :)
