A little about me... I'm a friendly and respectful 31 year old American from Southern California (not a trump supporter, so fear not). I’ve recently returned to Melbourne after going back home for a couple months so looking for a transitional place while I find the right permanent home. At home I was a freelance photographer/event producer and taught ESL so would love to be around fellow creative people. I am currently looking for work in hospo and photography, or really anywhere I can, but have enough savings to last me for the next several months just in case I don’t find something right away. I always pay my bills on time and happy to do my fair share of the housekeeping. I’m a fairly quite person, but keen to hang out and have a beer or meal, or give space when needed.
My name is Esther and I’m a 26 year-old PhD student, currently studying at Durham University in the UK. I’m visiting Melbourne University for 3 months as part of my PhD (beginning of October – end of December) and am looking for somewhere to rent. I will be at the Parkville campus, so am looking for a place within walking distance of this area. I’m chilled-out, but tidy and someone who does their chores! I’m a person that likes to be outside and exploring the city. I love being active, listening to live music, reading and love a good chat! I’m looking to make friends while I’m in Melbourne, so looking for a house/flat with other people :)
I'm a 24 year old admitted lawyer who is currently working at the Fair Work Commission (please don't hold either of those things against me!). I'm looking for a place with one or two friendly people who I can hang out with but who also have their own things going on. I'm very friendly and usually up for a chat most nights. I enjoy being social and having people around, although on weeknights I prefer to keep it a bit more chill. I have recently received a beautiful vegetarian cookbook which I'm super keen to try out (although still very partial to a good steak). I love animals so am more than happy to live with any pets. I would prefer to live with flat mates who are similarly working full time. If all of this sounds good feel free to shoot me a message, I'd love to be a part of making a share house a home!
I'm looking for a Place to call Home. I work as a support worker, caring for people with a disibility & encouraging them to engage in meaningful activities. During my down time I enjoy, Tunisian Crochet, art, soul collage and Yoga/ meditation. Weekends include catching up with friends and family, coffee, movies, dinner, & shows. I Have lived in a few different share houses and really value honest constructive communication, sharing the cleaning, and paying utilities & rent on time. I'm always up for a chat over a cuppa, however I also recognise that there are times when people need uninterrupted chill out time. I'm happy to organise my own food, as there are a few things I'm not able to eat. I do enjoy cooking a variety of dishes including vegetarian & meat dishes. I have no pets & are more than happy to share the house with a dog. No cats (I'm allergic)
I work 4 days/wk as HR Business Partner & Educator with a not-for-profit, and recommenced study of my 4th year Psychology in late August with Monash online. I'm very tidy and clean. I am independent and respectful of individual and shared spaces. I grew up with 3 siblings and a dog, and have lived with partners and in share houses over the past 6 years, very happily. My interests are nature, food and cooking, reading and music, red wine/beer and cheese, going on walks, the beach or the bush, getting away with friends, family time (dinners sometimes twice a week), animals especially cute or interesting ones, and trying new things! I currently live in the heart of the CBD and work is located in Richmond. I'm after something mid to long term.
Hi, My name is Paolo. I'm an architect and I work full time for a building construction group. I describe myself as tidy, clean, respectful and easygoing. I'm looking for a long term stay (4 months to over a year) on a single room in a shared house in the north and east suburbs of Melbourne (Thornbury - Northcote - Preston - Ivanhoe - Kew - Hawthorn - Balwyn - Camberwell - Surrey Hills) or nearby. I look forward to hearing from you. References available upon request. Paolo
I have been travelling and living overseas for the past 5 years.I lived in Colombia for the last 3 years where I owned an Australian restaurant . Before that I worked in the corporate world for 20 years as a project manager. I am independent, finally secure, clean, sociable, like my privacy also, motivated, a nice person and responsible. I'm not looking for a party house with 20 year old people but i do like living in nice surroundings and really enjoy robust conversation a couple of wines and a healthy outdoors lifestyle .
I have been living in Auckland for the past year; now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT and will be going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
Hi! We are JACOB and DAISY and from South Korean. We're working holiday visa holders and have been here for 5 months so far. And now we're planning to move to Melbourne on October 16 to start our new journey in Melbourne! We are a very clean and tidy couple. We always clean the kitchen right after use as we keep everything clean. We are friendly and down to early. We also respect personal boundaries and space when it comes to shared house. We've never made any rent overdue ever so that wouldn't be a problem at all. I'm not comfortable to speak on the phone in English so please text me or message me here instead of phone call.
Hi guys, my lease will be up in October so currently searching for a nice rental. I'll be working part time and studying so I like to keep busy. I keep to myself but also don't mind the occasional get together :) working in the cbd so open to a few different suburbs. Swing me a message!
I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne to focus on my Real Estate career. I'm originally from Adelaide, moved to rural Victoria with my ex and now i need to get back to the city! I don't know many people in Melbourne. I'm neat and tidy person! Can a bit of a nanna but i also love to socialize as well. Love a wine and a platter with well as a bit of banter or a movie. As to when i move would depend on work, so pretty flexible there however happy for the right place to take it on early Length of stay unknown however i am more than happy to give plenty of notice/ find a replacement.
Moving to Melbourne (from Brisbane) in late September for work. Sociable. Happy. Respectful. Clean. Usually pretty busy, but am easy going when I am at home. Will be working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Free time usually spent being active, out socialising with friends, or chilling while watching a movie/doco or reading a book.
We are a European couple from Austria, well-rounded, easy to get along with and live with. Since we will stay in Australia until June 2018 we are looking for a long term accommodation in the Melbourne area. We enjoy sports, cooking, arts and having a chat with flatmates and a nice bottle of wine/beer every once in a while. We care about our living space and keep the place clean and tidy. We are always open to share a common dinner and exchange travel stories over a nice meal. But we also respect your private area and time if you feel so.
Hey I'm Jessica! I'm from the UK and have just moved to Australia with my boyfriend Charlie on the working holiday visa. We are business graduates from university and looking to have some some new experiences in Australia before moving back to the UK and starting full time jobs. We are tidy people, but love going out and having fun! We also love to travel and just finished 5 months backpacking around south east Asia. If you have any questions please ask!
I'm easy going, work hard as a photographer and am very respectful towards others. Really enjoy a good social hangout with my housemates but also just as happy to chill out on my own and like to keep a good balance. I'm into my fitness so up early for gym usually and eat healthy so like to cook at home a lot when i'm around. I like to keep things tidy and keep life pretty simple. My Photography Studio is in Richmond so am looking for a place that is pretty close so I can walk to work or have a short drive as i've just come from living in Williamstown and the West Gate Bridge is now my least favourite place in the entire world it's literally the worst haha! Ultimately looking to have a fun, chilled home environment that is drama free and full of laughs and awesome moments. Cheers, Lliam
I am a sport loving, fun, approachable person. I am clean and do enjoy cooking, preparing and entertaining. If you want a no fuss, easy to get along with housemate, I'm your guy! :)

Haaave ya met Jed? I'm looking for a house or flatshare and some cool people to go along with it! I currently live in Brunswick, which I think is a great area, but I'm open to looking at a lot of locations. Ideally I'm looking for people of a similar age or older, that enjoy occasionally hanging out after work with a bev or even sharing the odd meal. I'm flexible on contract durations, but nothing too short-term; I live in Melbourne permanently. Me: Easy going guy that laughs at pretty much everything and fancies himself a bit of a (wannabe), comedian. I work full-time in the city during the week and can usually be found in Brunswick, Fitzroy or the city in the evenings/weekend. I play the guitar, like to the socialise, train at the gym and watch a lot of movies. Get in touch if you're interested in buddying up or have a room going! Danke, Jed
