Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of Meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet (trivia is fun). I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm getting back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Doing pretty well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can (rock climbing hopefully soon). Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will ideally become available in February, as I need to move out of my current place in Caulfield North by March. Also, need somewhere close to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks! Lucas
Hi my name's Samara. I'm 30 years old. For the past year I have been living in Maribyrnong renting by myself. Which has been ok except now I am looking to make it a bit easier on myself financially and hopefully get to meet a few new people too. I work casually and will be completing my final year of paramedicine in 2018. I am reliable with good rental history and also a landlord myself. Neat and tidy. I am a pretty relaxed and friendly person who doesn't mind a wine or beer now and then over a catch up. Looking for a vacant room to rent. I do have a small amount of furniture that will come with me. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a 22 year old international student from Sri Lanka studying my Robotics Engineering bachelors at Swinburne University.
Hey I’m Emma and I’m just returning home from backpacking Mexico for the past few months. I work full time but love to spend time and be busy when I’m not working. Usually on the weekends I’m chilling with friends or at live music or festivals . I’m very outgoing and chilled and would love to live with similar people. 420 and everything else friendly.❤️
Hi! I have recently moved from QLD to be a full time international flight attendant, so never home that often. I enjoy having alone time but also someone to have a chat about our days or going to dinner and having a bevie with. Not after a loud house with a lot of people as I can work weird times of the day (I sleep alot). Also wanting somewhere which has reasonable access to the airport and preferably a car spot available in a somewhat quite and safe area 😁
Hey, I'm Victoria (or Vic but please not Vicky; no one wants the nickname that comes with Vicky), I'm 25 and have just returned to Melbourne after a 4 month stay in the UK with my family. I've lived in Melbourne for 6 years so consider myself somewhat of a local although I still have so much more to see and learn. I work full time as a debt collection call centre team leader which makes me sound a lot scarier than I am... I promise I'm a nice person :) I am bubbly, outgoing and quite sociable however I appreciate my own space and privacy. I'm a clean, tidy and hygenic person to live with who is happy to help with shared cooking if desired. I like my life to be filled with laughter, conversations to be filled with real stuff and my company to enjoy the same. I'm looking for around a 3 month stay while I get myself back on my feet and find my own place although this may be longer. I am looking for a place under $200pw and the cheapest bond possible, preferably 2 weeks max or willing to negotiate payment of bond over a couple of weeks. (As previously mentioned, I have full time work however due to a 4 month break, my first monthly pay is on 15th Feb and have a limited amount of money to pay both 1st month rent and bond upfront. However steady flow of cash from 15/02 onwards - 2nd months rent would be paid on this day also). < just for full disclosure; I don't want to waste anybody's time. If I sound like someone you could live with, please let me know :D

Hi, I am a Danish exchange student who need a place to live from Jan 28,2018 to 20 June,2018. And I think your place sounds nice and seems like a good place to live while I am in Melbourne. I am going to study at RMIT for a Semester as a Civil engineer. As person I am relaxed, tolerant, easy to live with, always happy and ready to meet new people and experience new things. Moreover, I have lived by myself for the past five years therefore I take responsibility in a household and keep things clean. Before that I lived at a boarding school where I lived together I a room with 4 other people, so I respect and accept a closed door, moreover I am also ready to get a meal together sometimes.
Hello potential housemate I am a 25yr old Australian working full-time in the construction industry looking for a long term house. I am clean, tolerant, indiscriminate and learned in the ways of housesharing. I play the drums in a band and have come to terms with the fact i cannot play them at home due to the excessive noise and subsequently hire rehearsal room's in order to practice. I cherish all things music and would love to share a house with likeminded individual's. Thanks
My name is Maria, 26 years old, and I come from Ecuador. I am a very relaxed and respectful person who knows how to clean up after myself and can cook amazing meals to share! I am very fun to be around and I am looking to share a home with people I can call friends. On my spare time I can be found reading, cooking, watching some netflix, playing my uke, or playing on my nintendo DS, but if you want to play sopme board games, join me watching series or would like to have a nice chat and a giggle with some wine or beer you are more than welcome to tell me so and I will be delighted. I love to go out to music gigs or concerts, and acasionally to a club to dance, but I am not looking for a party house! I would prefer to live among people who are studying and working (like myself). I dont smoke, love animales and the outdoors. Hope to hear from you soon!
I would consider myself a well-organized and respectful person. I love hanging out with friends and doing outdoor activities as well. Reading books, playing piano and chilling in music are what I spend most of my time on at the moment. As an international student, I spend most of my time studying and also looking for a part-time job. I am also really into cooking so it's a benefit for anyone living with me. I don't have any pet but I'd be more than happy if I can live with them.
I'm a 23-year-old recent Swinburne Graduate. I was born in Poland and moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, my flatmate with whom I have been living ever since I moved to Melbourne is now moving out and I have to find a new place to stay. I'm young yet mature, very easy going and respectful. I'm interested in art and design, enjoy going to art galleries and exhibitions in my free time. I usually cook at home every second day, I'm very tidy and rather quiet. I don't own a car so I would prefer to stay in a place located relatively close to public transport. If you own any animals it's a massive bonus cause I love pets, especially dogs :)
Hi there! Before I introduce myself, please don't form your opinion about me based on my age, I happen to be 21 going on 40. My name is Clarissa and I'm 21 years old looking to move out from my current place to save money! I'm hoping to move end of Feb or start of March, so if your place is available for then please let me know! I'm looking for an unfurnished room which can fit a double bed and desk. I am currently working full time at a Finance firm in East Melbourne and studying Accounting part time. I can be quite the workaholic so most nights I get home late or I'll be at uni. So I would preferably like to live near public transport, I do have a car but not high priority to take with me if there's no parking. I am easy-going, friendly, quiet, tidy and reliable. I am more than happy to socialize and help around the house but also happy to keep to myself. I'm no party animal but loves a good chat or hangout. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs so unless they're a hypoallergenic breed, I can't live with pets :( I go mountain biking on weekends and love yoga, Netflix, baking and can be easily pursuaded to order a cheeky Ubereats or Foodora. Although I'm looking for a home, I'm also hoping to make some lasting friendships! Feel free to message me for more information! :)
Hi I'm Eloise! I am a 22 year old female originally from Tasmania but have been living in Melbourne for 2 years. I am about to start my third year of full time dance and I work most nights and weekends at a restaurant. I love going out with my friends and cause I work in hospo, I definitely don't mind a drink but also love a good Sunday at home. I'm easy going, tidy and friendly. Looking for a place to move into around the end of April. Or to team up with another one or two people to find one! Preferably near Kensington and the city as that is where I work and dance. :)

Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hey I'm Amy! I'm 23 and am moving to melb (from Townsville) to start my career as an electrical engineer. I am tidy, and on the rare occasion I actually love cleaning. My hobbies are photography and pole fitness and I try to make it to gym as well. In general I'd say I'm an introvert and would be fine barely seeing anyone around the house, but I do enjoy hanging out with people and don't have many friends in in Melbourne yet so would probably jump at the opportunity to be social.
Hello! I'm a Communication/Journalism student at RMIT (qualified to have good chats with housemates) and a pretty easy-going gal. I work part-time in admin and as a uni student magazine editor, which keeps me occupied during the week. Looking for a friendly sharehouse that's walking distance to speedy public transport that can get me to the CBD and Box Hill. Enjoy going to the gym, design, media, reading, nature (mostly in the form of picnics), going to gigs, having a boogie and bike-riding. After reading over that, I definitely need some new hobbies.. Would be overjoyed if there were some veg/vegans in the house, as I'm vegan. Fine with the room being furnished/unfurnished or having existing pets. Available to move in Jan for an ongoing stay of 3 months or longer. Am flexible with the details (can even do a back bridge). I'm tidy and will definitely do my share in keeping the house clean! Hoping to pay under $200pw in the suburbs/neighbouring suburbs listed on my profile. Let me know if you have a house that's a good fit! :)
My name is Linh and I'm currently looking for a place to stay in Footscray. I am clean, tidy, responsible, respect other's privacy and always pay rent on-time. I am quiet, but don't mind having a chat/hang out together from time to time. I work full time from Mon-Sat and go to church on Sunday, so I eat out most of the time and don't often cook. During my spare time, I play video games, watch movies and study or hang out with my friends.
Hi! I'm Cyndal, I'm a 28 year old health professional working full time in Geelong. I've lived in Geelong for a year and am looking to make a move to Melbourne to expand my social horizons. I'm planning on commuting to Geelong daily. Housemate-wise I'm responsible, clean, tidy, and keen to create a homey and relaxed environment. I'm introverted, but social, love to get to know new people, and try not to take life too seriously. I enjoy some time to myself, but generally enjoy having a chat over a drink in the evening. I enjoy cooking (and eating!), hiking, being outdoors, and ideally combining all of my favourite things at once (hiking picnic anyone?)! I'm planning on becoming fairly active in the local roller derby community which will probably take up a fair chunk of my social life. I come with an 8 year old short haired desexed/microchipped ginger tabby cat (Manny), who is very friendly and loves being around people. He is playful but well behaved and does not bite or scratch ever. He prefers the company of people to other animals, but he has lived well with other dogs and cats in the past. I am a very responsible pet owner and am very considerate of the needs of others I live with, hence I vacuum regularly and empty Manny's litter tray when it is used. Manny is both an indoor/outdoor cat, although I prefer that he is kept in an enclosed area (shed/garage/laundry) at night. I'm looking for a place to share with one to two other people. I have minimal furniture (bedroom only) and would be open to teaming up to purchase whitegoods etc. if needed. I would prefer LGBTIQA+ friendly housemates who are looking to create a homey environment and potentially be open to sharing a meal or a drink in the evening once in a while. Or, you know, that hiking picnic. Hope to hear from you soon!
