I've just moved over from Adelaide and decided to move to Melbourne after spending most of last year in Europe and a bit of Asia too - so escaping my home town again. I’ve shared many houses in my time and know how to clean up after myself and generally being an easy housemate to get along with. I enjoy sharing houses with social housemates who are keen to share the occasional meal and a few drinks - so that kind of situation would be ideal - but also aware of peoples personal space and enjoy my own down time too. I like seeing live music, the beach, getting out into nature but I’m also a web developer and work on my own web projects in me free time when I’m not out in the sun.
I'm a friendly, outgoing and social professional who works in international trade. I am looking to live with a likeminded person or two who enjoys cooking, eating out, exercise, travel and most importantly wine. I'm also tidy :)
I'm 25 from Surf Coast VIC, recently started working in Richmond full time and the commute is becoming a little too much! I've just finished a lease, was living with 2 girls my age for 2 years or so. I'm pretty chilled, easy going but also can be very social at times. I'm clean and respectful of people's space etc! looking for a home not just a room. Interested in sharing with people my age :) also interesting in teaming up to find a place!
Hi there! After spending last two years travelling in Aussie and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
I'm Suzie from Germany and I'm very open-minded, easy-going and uncomplicated. I'm very impressed by Melbourne and I want to make the best of my stay here. When I'm not at work, I love to cook and spending some time with my lovely friends. Furthermore I love petting my cat Filou and listen too electronic music and deep house. One of my biggest interests is fashion...I'm literally a fashion addict. Since I have a full-time job here in Melbourne I'm reliable to pay the weekly rent. Cleanliness and respect for the host are self-evident to me. I want to explore as much as possible in Melbourne and it would be cool, if you're also an open-minded person, who can give me some recommendations :)
Hi My name is Toni, I am an 18years old student from China, now studying fashion and textile merchandising at RMIT Brunswick. Now looking for an available private room to rent. I am really friendly but quite and as I spent 3 years in Sydney and finished high school study. There will be no problems in communication. I like to ride my bike and go to the gym a lot, so Keeping myself fit is my biggest hobby at the moment, I like to listen to lots of EDM as well. I also have previous experience in renting the room so I'll be familiar with the procedure, definitely easy to deal with. My parents will be paying for my expenses in Australia so there will be no difficulty paying the rent on time. Cheers
Hi there! My name is Matiss. I am a Latvian post-grad exchange student at the University of Monash for 1 semester (till July), and I am looking for a spot ( a private room ) to lay my head while I am not at the university. I’m a pretty social, open minded and easy going person who always cleans up after himself. In my free time, I am kind of active (after I finish my assignments for studies) and love trying new sports/hobbies. Some of my favourites are beach volleyball / wakeboarding / kite surfing. Been playing tennis for 15+ years, and co-organizing weekly beach volleyball tournaments for amateurs and enthusiast in Latvia.
We are both moving to Melbourne from Sydney for roughly a month with work. We are both laid-back, friendly, clean and respectful of others. We have both also lived out of home for a number of years. Most of the time during the week we will be at work.
Hey Guys, A little about me: I have my own business making a chai concentrate. If you've been to some of the local businesses in Seddon you'd see my product being stocked. Or if you were at the Yarraville Festival, I was one of the stall holders. Life is pretty hectic with weekends doing markets and Monday as production day. During the week, I'm busy meeting clients, working from home or at a cafe, and Friday is generally getting myself organised for the weekend markets. I take 1 day off during the week to catch up w friends for a few drinks. Originally from Brisbane, I've lived in Melbourne for almost 15 years with a 2 year and 1 year stint in London and Hong Kong, respectively. I'm prompt with paying bills on time and respect peoples spaces. I enjoy yoga and riding my bike everywhere. If you've got any questions, hit a girl up :) Thanks, Chloe
I work full time and am also studying in the city. I would like minimum 3 month stay and bills included if possible. I have my own furnishings. I have a very busy schedule so mostly just keep to myself to study when at home. Generally a quiet person but would like to have a housemate that wouldn't mind sharing a dinner and having a chat :-)
Hey guys, I’m looking for a place that I can call home! My budget is around $200 pw starting from March, ideally in East Melbourne, Richmond, Fitzroy, Collingwood, South Yarra, CBD. Here is a little facts about me: I’m 22, from Malaysia. I’m coming to Melbourne this year for my postgrad. I’m a tidy, open-minded, considerate and really down to earth person. I like socializing but also enjoy my quiet time and respect others privacy at the same time. I love good coffee, wine and movie. Non-smoker. LGBT+ friendly Let me know if you have anything that might suit! xx :))
Hi! We're a couple and a single guy, I'm 28 from Italy, my boyfriend 24 from France and our friend is 31 from Vietnam (Aussie citizen). We're looking for a double and a single room in a quiet sharehouse 'cause we're working and we need a place to rest. We like to live with other people and we're use to share (we were living in a 14 rooms sharehouse), we love music, movies and food, we like to have a drink and a chat all together, we're very respectful, tidy and clean. If you have 2 free rooms or you want to start a new sharehouse together contact me!
I am moving to Melbourne to start a dream job working at a group of hospitals. I am a numbers nerd who works in Analytics, and have done for the past 4 years. I've been renting share houses for 7 years throughout Sydney and after travelling Europe for 3 months, I am very excited to do so again in Melbourne. I like music anything from Hendrix to De la Soul to Ben Sims, would love a place where I can set up a small, but decent hifi sound system (hopefully one I have built myself!). I also like to Ski and recently developed a taste for cooking. I've been described as an easy housemate and have never been late on rent or a bill!
Hi everyone, I am looking for a new place to move in March since the lease of my current place is ending in Feb. Im working as a nanny and in hospitality (mostly during the weekends) so am fairly busy. Im a happy person who likes to laugh and hang out with friends but dont mind having some time for myself too. Im respectful of others and love to come home to a cozy and quiet place where I can relax and chill after a crazy day at work. It would be great to live with like-minded people rather than someone who is just minding their own business. Im trying to be active doing sports but love a night in as well (probably even more than working out). Talk soon, Yvonne.
Monday to Friday corporate life, I work full time in HR. I'm always down for binge watching a good tv show or movies or UFC. Enjoy going to gigs (if you're in need of a gig buddy I'm your gal) and like getting out of the city and going on hikes / camping. Social but also want to be able to chill out on my own. Also respectful of others' need for me time. No pets but an animal lover, extra points if you have a cat.
Hey there! I'm Erin, I'm 29 and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm employed full time, working as the Design Manager for Marshall White Real Estate. I'm a yoga addict, but when I'm not at work or in the studio I spend most nights out exploring Melbourne's incredible food scene or trying a new class or workout. I love nature, the beach, festivals, breakfast adventures, dogs, sunshine, yoga and a good cup of coffee. I also love exploring Melbourne by bike and travelling the world. I'm looking to move in with some relaxed, positive and respectful housemates that have their own thing going on but don't mind a catch up over a glass of wine, a movie or a house dinner. Although I do like going out from time to time, I'm not looking for a party house, but rather a clean and tidy place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. I'm an open minded, big hearted, glass half full kinda person and it is essential that you are the same!
Hi I am from South America, i am looking for a private room close to the city because i want to live close to work. I'm very tidy, responsible with my bill and love chatting but also having my own time to rest because I work really hard. I love dancing so I can teach some salsa moves, I speak Spanish fell free to learn with me! I am a good housemate, I respect others so I can be treated in the same way.
Hi, we are two english girls nearly half way through our second year of living in Australia. We are both full time workers - Kate works in an office on reception and Sophie is a hairdresser. We are very clean, tidy and respectful housemates. With both of us working full time it would be nice to have a clean house to come home to and be able to relax after a long day. We enjoy the gym, going out for food and exploring different and new places. It would be amazing to live with people of the same nature :) If you like the sound of us then please get in touch! Kate and Sophie.
hi guys, I'm new in this great city. got a full time job here 8-5 and enjoy exploring the rest of the time. I'm a clean and tidy person, loves sports/xfit, cinema, interior designs, and I cook at home. so welcome to have a beer, or share some Chinese homemade food with me ;) I also respect a lot of privacy, so I can be very quiet sometime.
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. I am extrovert and open-minded.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking unless I'm insisted so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive to my religious aspects (like eating non-halal food, drinking and others) but not extreme. I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. I don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, we would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( I'm cat-lovers :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) or Homestays in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, I am great to live with.
Hi I am Sven. I am studying in Melbourne at the Victoria University at the law school for one semester. I would and I guess my friends back home would describe myself as an uncomplicated and laid-back guy. I like to cook together and share a meal, basically I like to take it easy but don't worry I won't dodge from cleaning or other household-related work.
I'm Ali, 26 and originally from NZ (you can take the piss out of my accent). Currently looking for a room in a sharehouse in Richmond, Collingwood, Fitzroy or Abbotsford. Hi, I am an 22 years old master student from Germany. Holding a bachelors degree in "economics", I am now enrolled in the 3 years "Master of Construction Management" program at the University of Melbourne. I am easy going, clean and sociable... but I guess that´s what everybody writes about himself. I love to hang out with friends, work out or cook. Besides that I am always down for a beer or the occasionally glass of vino. If you have a spare room or you are interested in teaming up, shoot me a message so we can meet for a coffee or beer and see how we come along. Cheers, Paul

Hi my name is Mary, i am 26 and have recently moved here from Russia. I am looking for a fully furnished private room and would prefer to live somewhere around St. Kilda, Elwood, etc. I love ocean and would like to live near it, so it would be perfect if the house would be located 15-20 minutes walking from the beach. I am very neat, tidy, respectful of others space and looking for housemates that are similar :) Nevertheless I would be happy to make friends with my housemates and spend some time together. I am not a party girl and spend most of my time drawing, writing songs and singing. I am very quiet and a bit introverted, but not grumpy, so if you want to talk I would be happy to :) I will have jams outside the house, but sometimes I will need to sing or make a record in my room, so we can discuss the time when I will not disturb anyone. I am vegetarian, non smoker and don't drink alcohol. I love all animals and would be happy to live in a house with cats, dogs and other pets. I also enjoy joga, meditation and weird people.

Hi! I am a 29 (soon to be 30) year old female from San Francisco. Don’t worry, I dislike Trump too, and if you don’t maybe we shouldn’t be roommates ;) I moved here a couple months ago and the room I have been renting will soon no longer be available. I work for myself as a Fashion Designer and started my own label almost a year ago; I also do Photo Retouching (image editing/photo manipulation in Photoshop). My usual routine includes working from a café during the day, yoga, and I either tango or salsa dancing. I like to eat pretty healthy and usually a vegetarian diet and am a non-smoker. I am clean and have a steady income so rent will not be an issue. I keep pretty busy and focused on growing my brand but I also enjoy my socializing. I plan to be here at least a year, possibly longer. If this sounds like it could be a good fit please let me know, if my lifestyle isn’t your jam no harm no foul! I look forward to meeting you and checking out the place! Cheers! Brie
My friend and I are looking for accommodation whilst at University! Hi I'm Jacinda, I'm 25 years old. I work as an Occupational Therapist and acting study part time. I'm New to Melbourne. I have lived in share houses for six years so I know the drill- clean, tidy, respect your things and personal space when needed and I hope for the same in return. Also keen to have chats and share a wine or two. Please message me if you think I can be an addition to your household.
Hi, I'm Emily! I'm backpacking in Melbourne and looking for a fun group of people to live with until July. I'm very clean, can cook reasonably well, like to go out and drink but think I'm a pretty chilled and considerate housemate. Have been travelling for 18 months and want to see as much of Melbourne as possible!
Hi, I'm Quentin, 23 years old from France. I arrived in Melbourne on Monday night and I just started an internship to validate my Master's degree at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research near the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking for an accommodation available ASAP for a period of 6-7 months. I am paid and I also received a French scholarship for my internship, so I will have no problem paying my rent on time. Since my 18 years I do house/flatsharing, so I am more than accustomed. During this period, I crossed many people from different countries not any Australian yet ! Sociable by nature, I know how to adapt to the characters of my roommates, I do my share of household tasks and I am a real cordon bleu ! Even if we separate our food, I often cook or do pastries to pass the time. You could have your share ! I will also be delighted to start a discussion about a beer or a glass of wine either outside or at home. I think I'm never short of discussion, this is surely my French side! Cheers, Quentin.
Born and raised in the Northern Territory and am here studying a Bachelor of Science (Major Psych/Physiology Minor Pharmacology) at Monash. I have a variety of interests which include rugby union, gym (although it doesn't look like it), a bit of gaming, beers and I don't mind a movie or two but I'm also always interested in picking up new hobbies and interests. Coming from a small town I've learnt how to get along with almost anyone and because of that I think I am able to easily slot into a house dynamic. I am generally a clean person but am not a clean freak and to be honest I'll probably just try and match the cleanliness that everyone else in the house has so long as it isn't too bad.
Hello My name is Jason 29,very clean respectful Male who always pays bills on time. Arriving tonight into Melbourne from sydney for a 10 week work course that starts on Monday and will be leaving April 29th. Looking for a room to rent by myself in a share house. Thank you
Hi! We're two English post-grad professionals looking to find a one bedroom flat in Fitzroy! Are easy going, tidy, chilled out & respectful... looking for somewhere to call home whilst we live here 3-6 months preffered! Thanks :)
Hi, I’m a professional working full time in the Textiles/Fashion industry. I like sport, I play netball twice a week. I’m also a bit creative and enjoy drawing and sewing. I'm a pretty relaxed easy going person, who likes to have a chat (or watch a movie) and chill out in the evenings. I enjoy a good coffee and socialising. I'm looking for a place to call home, with similar age people.
I am a 23-year old guy from Amsterdam that has lived in and traveled Australia for slightly over a year now. I used to live in Brisbane and moved to Sydney after, while having just arrived to Melbourne. I got lucky in both cities with a great house and more importantly even greater roommates. For me it's very important to get along and to create a welcoming and social atmosphere. Paco Taco Tuesdays used to be Brisbane's finest Mexican cuisine once a week, or the French versus Dutch pie cook-off, or the weekly Game of Thrones bonanza. My previous roommates would consider me easy to live with, social and a close friend. That is what I would like to have in Melbourne as well. I am quite tidy and organized and will be working sometimes, but I am always down to do something or go somewhere, have a drink, do a little dance.
Hi, I'm Kathryn. I'm looking for a place around Moonee Ponds/Maribynong as I've just got a new job based there. I work in social work, but for a few months I'll also be working casually at Crown Casino. I graduated uni in 2014 after studying Criminology, focussing on policy. I've recently returned from an extended 'gap year/s' in Germany, where I mostly worked with refugee aid and English/German translation. I'm pretty keen on Netflix binges, group meals, political discussions, casual dinner parties and baking. I'm clean but not obsessive, not a huge partier, respectful of people's space and very organised. I'm a non-smoker and a seldom drinker. I'm not a vegetarian nor vegan, but I rarely eat meat and am more than happy to live in a vegetarian house. I will mostly be working from mid afternoon through to 10/11pm, so will be coming and going at off times. Every Tuesday I'll be staying over at work, so won't be around that night. I don't like houses that aren't social with one another, crazy party houses, or housies that don't clean up after themselves. I am looking for somewhere that has good public transport access to the CBD and Moonee Ponds, has off-street car-parking, and is non-smoking. I've lived in share houses before, including a year in Carnegie, a year in Caulfield and 2 years on campus at Monash in Clayton. I also managed to successfully couch-surf my way through Germany for close to a year, so I've very familiar with what makes a good house-guest. If I sound like a good fit into your house, please get in contact :) Kathryn :)
