Hello potential housemate(s), My boyfriend, Farkhan, and I need a room to stay for short term while we secure a house with our friends. We need to move in on Sunday, 29 October for at least a week, then we can continue the rental terms if we still haven't secured a house. It could take a week to up to a month for us to secure a house and able to move in, so I'd say a week first just to be safe. Looking for: - something in south east /east Melbourne (south east furtherest until Berwick, east is until Box Hill, Mitcham, anywhere between city and these places) - couple friendly - less than 210 per week (willing to pay more if you can accept our fur kid mentioned below) - Furnishing can be flexible as we have our own - happy to share toilet, but own bathroom will be a plus (willing to pay more for our own bathroom)! - Hopefully something with less bond required as well. We'll be respectful of the property and not damage anything. - We have an indoor cat, which we can leave with our friends if not suitable for the house or if you guys don't mind a bonus cute housemate, that'll be awesome!! Foz (the cat) will not make any mess or destroy anything. About us: Nancy is an international student from Taiwan doing last semester in Monash Uni, work part time. Farkhan is an international student from Singapore doing mechanic course in Kangan on Monday and Tuesday, and working as a mechanic in Springvale on Wednesday to Saturday. We are friendly and respectful. Not party people, mostly watch shows when we're at home so internet connection is essential. Foz is a 1.5 years old Tabby who only stays indoor. All he does all day is sleep, walk around and eat. Message us anytime:) Regards, Nancy and Farkhan

I always pay rent and bills on time. Neat and tidy guy, enjoy cooking at times, with a beer or nice glass of wine. Play golf in the warmer months, and generally enjoy getting out and about in Melbourne and the countryside. Not much of a night owl as I have an early start for work (6am).
I work full time Monday to Friday and am happy making friends and hanging out or keeping to myself. I now have a cat as my his owner has been deployed for the ADF: he is very calm and affectionate and doesn't go outside.
35 yrs old Italian male. Australian P.R., living and working around Melbourne since 2013. I am a professional Pizza Chef / Cook ( full-time..) and much more. Straight, clean, easy going, open minded peaceful person, non-smoker. Enjoy my own space and respect others's space. Very well house trained, fine with home cleaning and house duties and I know how to clean after myself. I love food and like making healthy food and beverages, listen to good Music, hanging out for dinner once a week and enjoy the vibrant Melbourne's food scene. I enjoy reading and researching, swimming, walking, training outdoor, travelling when possible and relaxing at home off-course when it is needed. Keen to make new friends, cook and share a meal and have a vino together sometimes. Looking for a peaceful, clean and safe environment to share with like minded people, possibly a furnished room in a Not crowded house ( to share with 2-3 people max..). Most South-eastern suburbs and Peninsula area are considered as I am working in this area. Close to train station preferably. Not a party house, in a nice location, well connected to facilities, close to natural areas, such as Beach and parks Thank you. Cheers, Mickele
Hey future roomie! My name is Katy and I'm 27 years young. Just a single, white female living vicariously through Seinfeld quotes. I work at Savers in Moorabbin full-time so if you have a 'shit shirt' party coming up or want to share my 5 dollar outfits then I'm your gal. Long story short, have been renting with my younger sister for 2yrs here. I came home after work on Saturday to find she had just picked up and left with her bf without telling me. Oh the betrayal! 😭 Thus desperately on this quest to find a new housemate asap! I currently live in a cute new little townhouse in the ghettos of noble park (corner of Corrigan and Heatherton Rd). 12min to Moorabbin 25 to Chapel street Trainstation & bus stops nearby around the corner. It has 2bedrooms, 2bath, shared kitchen/living. Ideally looking for someone easy-going, doesn't mind cooking together or having a binge sesh of netflix and such. My room can either be a bomb site or real organised but I do make sure the rest of the house is neat. But if you prefer to keep to yourself that's also cool cause I do enjoy my own space too. Potentially you could take over her lease because the balcony is really good for tanning in the summer lol but I'm also happy to try find somewhere closer to both of our jobs and such. Sorry for the novel. Hit me up if this sounds like your cup of tea 😊
very easy going, have a gorgeous little dog that isn't any problems at all. Have all my own stuff (fridge, tv, couch, foxtel, washine machine etc). I'm very respectful and like to keep a clean house and rent is always paid on time. I work full time in a good job, love to walk the dog or get to the gym most nights and relax and enjoy the weekend! Love the Footy and snowboarding in the winter and beach days during the summer. Ready to move whenever the right place comes up
I'm easy going, respectful of others and privacy, neat and tidy, fun and outgoing. I work full time in sales, and when not at Work, I enjoy road trips, travelling, being near the ocean, diving, movies, a nice glass of red and chilling out. Happy to share time with house mates but am respectful of my own time and others privacy also. Not a huge partier. Non smoker.
Hi my name's Jess. I'm 29, female and looking for a room to rent. Preferably unfinished as I have all my own bedroom furniture. I work in the city so want to be within 40 minute train ride of the cbd. I have a cat who loves to be outside during the day, so ideally would like a small back yard. At night time she stays in my room with me. Most nights I enjoy curling up with a good book or watch tv. I'm social but like my own space. Happy to kick back with a wine and a good chat on the weekends. I generally cook vegetarian meals for myself. However if other people cook for me I'm not strict on it, as I always appreciate others making the effort to cook for me.
Experienced Teacher looking for a 40+ share house. My interests include online study, streaming, and attempting to stay fit. I'm a friendly person although fairly quiet.
Hi, I have recently moved down from Cairns to keep an eye on my aging father who lives in Glen Iris. I'm looking to share as I already have a home up there that I am renting out. I'm understanding of people's property and privacy. I'm very neat and I like gardening. I work 6 days a week in the car trade on the Peninsula and have family and friends down here that I socialise with. I have a very small dog that doesn't bark and prefers to be inside with me when I'm home. He is also very social! I don't mind a chat, meal or a drink together occasionally if that's you as well. I have a new Kia Sportage and a work van. I have furniture if it is required as I bought all mine down with me. I'm a happy person who loves to laugh at life and enjoy it as much as possible.
My name's Lily and I am 20 years old. I have been renting for 2 years now and I have had 3 previous roommates at my rental but I am now looking to move out of my current house, sell my furniture and move in with someone else as I am not home enough for the amount of rent i'm currently paying. My lease ends at the end of January, but due to the busy time of year around December/January I'm hoping to find a place to live and move in well before then. I am a busy person who works part time as well as attending full time university. I am currently studying to be a dietitian and almost in my final 2 years of my bachelor/masters degree so it tends to take up most of my time. I'm friendly and really easy going, I mostly enjoy relaxing nights/days in when I'm not at work or Uni. My passion is to cook so I like to spend quite some time in the kitchen when I have free time. I'm looking to share with someone who is reliable with rent/bills. I'm respectful of one's privacy, clean/tidy and very considerate of others. I am also hoping my roomie will be up for a chat and help create a friendly and harmonious environment. If you have any further questions feel free to message me.
I'm a friendly, reliable and clean roomie! I've done the share house thing before and these days I'd be looking for more of a quiet household. I've adopted a small dog and reclaimed my childhood cat since then. They are both beautiful and well cared for by me so don't let that put you off having a laugh and sharing your home with a relaxed chick, who loves to cook, enjoys long walks and a solid Netflix binge on a night in! 💕
