My name is Silva, I'm Dutch and I live in Amsterdam. I'll be moving to Brisbane the 16th of March to work as a manager at Randstad Education for at least a year, possibly longer. So I'm looking for a nice place to live, preferably in West End with one or two roommates. It would be fun to find roommates who are into hanging out sometimes or want to eat together when convenient. Furthermore I like cycling (sort of have to since I'm Dutch), hiking, going out for a drink, road trips and other touristic activities and am planning to (try to) learn (kite)surfing and diving while in Australia. I'm not a great cook but will definitely make you some typical Dutch dishes (there are not many so don't worry).
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee, FL, so we would enjoy a social house. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accommodate your wishes when we meet you :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking although we aren't huge partiers. We are usually just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We've also got a Playstation which you'd be welcome to use. Mike's a keen musician and has played in a bunch of bands in his time and it'd be nice for him to meet other musical people. We own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran who is currently working at a busy Brisbane cocktail bar and Mike works in gaming and software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot or studying. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Like meeting new people and socialising - having a drink on the weekends and going out. Passionate about basketball, poker, gym and travel. Biomedical student at UQ. Own a couple businesses including Pure Alchemy Records, Allure modelling and Quantum Shift Academy.
Hi there! My name is Anna Melina and I'm an international student from Germany. I'm 19 years old, open-minded and study Business Information Systems at Griffith Uni. In my free time I love to do track and field, meet with friends and travel. Feel free to contact me in case your room is still available or if you have and other questions. Cheers, Anna Melina
- Relaxed and easy to live with - Clean, tidy and organised - Focused on my career and pursuing my interest in business - Quiet and respectful of other's space - Always enjoys a good laugh and chat
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained and clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook (once a souse chef), philosophize over a glass of wine and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place. Troy
Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move late April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
Hey, Im looking to move in with some housemates who are keen to hang out but understand space, I try to keep clean and might be out a lot as I'm a full time undergrad zoology student at uq who has a bar job. I'm into hiking, grabing coffee and binge watching TV. I can bring a tv and wii to the table
Hey Our names are Caiti and Fergus. We hail from sunny Scotland and having recently graduated from university, we are in Brisbane, both working full/pat- time jobs in hospitality. We are easy-going, sociable people keen to explore Brisbane and get to know what it has to offer. We are both outgoing and outdoorsy would love to get to know the city's culture, food and nightlife. We are house trained, can keep a flat clean and tidy and we both cook reasonably well (not exclusively haggis). Beyond this, our combined hobbies include- but are not limited to: tennis, fashion, food, art, music, soccer, politics. We love animals and can coexist with them amicably. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Looking forward to hearing from you! Caiti and Fergus

hey hi hello. my name is jemyma and i am studying and working in event and hotel management. I'm a very social, clean and friendly gal who can pretty much spin a yarn with every man and his dog. I love a good feed of Thai and enjoy keeping fit and busy. I'm very easy going and am looking to live with people aged 18-22 who enjoy the occasional/extremely regular wine and cheese on the deck. That said, I am not a huge party goer but will definitely not be locked in my room 24/7. Swing me a message if you're interested. ps i'll live pretty much anywhere as long as its somewhat central to st lucia (uni) and wavell heights (work)
I'm a fun, considerate, social, easy going and tidy girl from Norway who is taking a semester abroad at UQ form my school in the U.S. During my stay in Brisbane I want to explore as much as possible, get to know fun people, drink and eat good food while still do good in school and relax. Also, I love to cook so you'll get a free chef by teaming up with me:) I'll arrive in Brisbane on February 15th and will dedicate all of my time before school starts to find fun roommates and a decent place to live (and have a few drinks). A few of the things I'm really into is music, make-up, going to the beach, clubbing, work out and binge watch tv shows. I'm open to teaming up with both boys and girls, but would prefer my own room and max 4 roommates. I absolutely love to travel and I'm not afraid to explore new places and do things I've never done before. Even though I'm social and enjoy going out I don't want to live in a partyhouse. Please don't be shy and if you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message!
I am a social and relaxed person looking to team up with a like minded person. I am a draftsperson and live a relatively quiet life Monday - Friday. Come Friday I enjoy a beer and a chat however I do appreciate downtime and am respectful of others space (and belongings). On the weekends I get out and about be it to the beach, motorbike ride or exploring restaurants/bars and galleries. I am clean and organised and like my house to reflect that. Looking to move Mid-April.
I'm a neat and organised person who is not afraid to live with either males or females. I'm still new-ish to Brisbane and I like to explore and visit what is around. I tend to keep myself busy with work/gym and I intend to pick up studying again once I settle in a location. I enjoy a nice beer (or wine and cheese - cause you know - I'm a girl) on a Friday/Saturday night but don't be surprised if you see me binge watching Suits or Game of Thrones (Gotta rewatch it before the next season FYI) on the weekend. I can keep to myself or be your bet friend - Whichever you suit is sweet with me.
Hey flatmates, I'm an easy-going Aussie guy who loves travel, and is looking for a place to move into at the end of March. I have two part-time jobs and study full-time, so I am usually out for around 10hrs per day and keen to hit the hay when I get home, although I enjoy the occasional chat and drinks! On the weekends I work, and love hitting the gym for a few hours on Sundays! My study is at UQ (BEcon/BCom) and I am in my final year of study (23 years of age). I'd love to have my own bathroom or share with one other person. Please feel free to send me a message if you have a listing that might be applicable! Cheers! PS - I have flat-shared in Indooroopilly for the past year but unfortunately the lease expires on April 10th.
Social, easy going, and easy to live with - clean and quiet (in terms of volume and unnecessary noise), and get along with just about everyone. I work full time during the week, like to head out on the weekends, get to the coast as often as I can, and consider myself to be a relatively healthy, stable person haha. Would like flatmates that I can call friends as well :) looking move sometime in March (flexible)

Dreaming of hangs on the porch couch with my future roomies looking out at our pet chickens and veggie patch attempts. I am a friendly, easy-going and respectful gal. Looking for a home rather than a house. Maybe a few housemate dinners and bants here and there. Would love to contribute to a tidy, good vibes place Beginning an Arts degree at UQ this year after several years of working for The Man and gallivanting across the globe. You will generally find me drawing hearts on coffees at QUT. I appreciate the joys of a Zooper Dooper on a Sunday, market friend dates and a good Indian curry. Note - I own more cushions than furniture. I believe the more house plants the better. Food is life. Feel free to message if you have any more questions!
My name is Annie and I am studying Secondary Teaching. On the side I am a Disability Support Worker, so when I am at home I like to keep myself sane by doing as much fun shit as I can. My interests include music, art, finding new bars and restaurants, fashion, and anything else you can throw at me (very easily entertained). I am extremely easy going, I am a great cook and I am tidy. I'm wanting to live with some fun, drama-free, people that can respect that I need a face-mask and netflix day from time to time . I am after somewhere preferably with air conditioning that everyone is cool with using, but this isn't a big deal. Send me a message if you think I am the one and I can tell you more about myself :)
Hi I am a clean easy-going house mate, non-smoker. Like to live with housemates that I can have a chat with or a drink with. However have their own life at the same time Not looking to live in a party house. Looking for a home not just a place to sleep. I am respectful of others. Prefer to live with people who have busy active lifestyles. No couch potato's or people who sit at home 24/7. Life is for living!!!
I'm looking for a place somewhere close to central Brisbane. I'm a fun outgoing full-time and worker who's looking for someone to share an apartment or house with. Looking for something thats around 6 months to a 1 year lease. Let me know what you've got!
Hi Everyone! I am actually viewing this awesome town house on 173 sir fred schonell drive st lucia on friday 24th and looking for someone to apply for a 6 month lease with me if the property is nice. Google for the listing :) Im 32, have 2 part time jobs and study psych at UQ. Im pretty busy with my schedule, always up for a chat but i keep to my self a lot in my downtime so the house will be pretty quiet and I may not be around all the time Happy for a couple (will have to pay more than half) or another female. If you have furniture thats a plus :)
Hello! I'm Evelyn, 21 years old, born in Belgium but haven't lived there for long. I grew up in Dubai, finished high school in Egypt, and study full time at McGill in Montreal, Canada. I am in Australia for 6 months because I am doing exchange at UQ. I hope to meet lots of people as I like to think of myself as sociable. I love traveling, meeting new people, exploring new places and I'm passionate about videography and photography.
Easy going, active, social - enjoy a good laugh and a couple of beers but not a party house. I'm a Nurse, well travelled, arriving in brissy 27/2 from Cairns. I'm always doing something.. Surfing, snowboarding, travelling and always out meeting friends. Im Clean, but not OCD - friendly house/unit would be ideal :)
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
I'm friendly and like to have a lot of fun but also respectful of privacy and study needs. I like to go to the beach, see live music, eat food and chill out. Looking for somewhere with chill vibes and housemates that can become new friends :-)
I am a reliable and hard working female relocating from the Sunny Coast to Brisbane CBD for University in 2017. I enjoy hanging out with friends and keeping active, but can appreciate personal space/quiet time. I'm looking for an easy-going housemate that can enjoy the company of others :) Also ideally would like someone clean and tidy

Hi, My name is Mai and I am currently in the process of re-repatriating back to Australia from an overseas work assignment. I'm looking for short term accommodation as I will be working towards another overseas assignment. I work full time in the city Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700. However my role requires frequent travel and I enjoy travelling personally so there may be times I will not be in the country from a few days to a few weeks at a time. I like to keep a busy life between work and getting out and about. I enjoy the odd wine with dinner or after work with friends, but by no means a 'party animal'. I do enjoy the odd chat / catch up with friends and like minded people but am also conscious of other peoples space and I am very comfortable with being in my own company. The space I am looking for would be preferably; - furnished - bills shared (if not already included in the rent) - internet access - parking space (off street is fine) I consider myself 'house proud'. I'd like to ensure the home is neat, clean and comfortable. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out! Looking forward to hearing from you! Mai
My name is Stephen, am a +50 yo. currently working in Brisbane, relocated up here for employment (am a Melbournian). Currently married, nontheless my wife and three children are still living in Melbourne, I commute seeing them every 3rd weekend or so. My wife also does fly up to Brisbane and stays with me from time to time. I am a General Manager for a transport company which involves me traveling regularly overseas and within Australia. I do work longer hours and am a reasonable earlier riser. Have the need to move from my current residence as the property was sold and looking for another place to reside. I am a clean and tidy person, respectful of other people's property and space. Am easy going and am told I'm a pretty good cook. Enjoy clay target shooting every other weekend, plus the occasional golf game. Like the odd quiet time chilling out watching TV or a movie or spending a Saturday or Sunday afternoon cooking up a storm for those I share with. I do enjoy a chat over a beverage and sharing a laugh. No problem with cleaning as required, doing my share, in fact I like tidy and clean living spaces. Preference of a residence to live in, is a larger apartment or a house with my own bathroom, plus off street parking is needed. Looking at a 6-12 month tenure, male or female sharing is fine by me, preferred move in date after March 10, can be earlier or later. Also if needed references can be provided from my current flat mate or the real estate agent I rented a property from here in Brisbane. Happy to meet and chat with any prospective flat mate. Thanks Stephen
I'm Jack, 20 years old and moving back to Brisbane from Melbourne. I study biomedical science (3rd year) at QUT and am looking for a houseshare for the year. I'm easy going, keen to socialise and keep a clean house. Not looking for a party house but always keen for a few drinks and a chat. Looking to move ASAP with a budget of $200 Pw including bills. Hit me up with any questions!
I am a laid back, very clean and tidy, fun loving and busy professional who enjoys downtime as well as being active and social. I am very courteous and am looking for people to live with who might like to do things together but also have their own lives and interests. I would also prefer to not live with couples, have my own bathroom and have a furnished property but am definitely open to otherwise if the property and people seem a good fit. I am flexible with move in dates from now until whenever suits best as I am happy to wait for an awesome blend of great place and great roommate. Am happy to answer any questions you may have so it you think it's worth a chat then let's do it! Thanks! And happy searching!
I am an internation student from Thailand that loves to cook and enjoy having a chat occasionally. I am doing my honors and continuing with masters in UQ thus at times I will be extremely busy studying full time. I would enjoy having some time on the weekends to cook a meal for everyone in the flat to share that is if my cooking is acceptable to everyone in the flat. I do not smoke or drink any form of alcohol but willing to drink a few beer if for socializing.
Hi, I am a polite, respectful person who works full time. Still new Brisbane and looking to find the right place that feels like home. I am originally from Adelaide, I enjoy going out and exploring new places.
Hey Im a 30 year old professional female from Melbourne. I am moving to Bris to begin studying for my career change and looking for a 'home' to live in (cliche but true). I want to share a house with people who are up for a wine, dinner, chats etc. I have shared plenty of homes and spent a fair but of time time Bris over the last four years, so have a small social network already. I am pretty easy going and enjoy the company of most people. I like to be social, but anticipate i will be pretty busy next year with studies, placements and working. Would love to chat further if i sound like someone that could fill your room! Cheers Meg - worth mentioning, i am looking for a room that is reasonably large so i can fit a desk etc in there.
I am clean, friendly and respectful. I ensure all my bills/rent are paid on time and clean up after my own mess (I don't make alot to start with) but you can be assured I leave the kitchen sparkling clean after I use it (if I ever use it) Mon - Fri I am usually working and out during the evenings so you'll probably only see me during the weekend sometimes Also I am easy going and easy to talk to. Prefer someone similar, not someone who comes home then locks themselves up in the room all day/night. I enjoy a beer now and again and some good tunes and the occasional tv shows, xbox, board games. Hobbies: Music (drummer) don't worry I don't have a drumkit, latin dancing (Bachata & Kizomba), learning french, kickboxing. I would prefer an unfurnished room as I have my own stuff, and also got an awesome sexy leather couch that reclines and is super comfy if there's space for it :) If not, its no biggie as I can store it somewhere else Also currently I have a room available, if the right person is interested to teamup with me, this room can be used until my place gets rented out and then we can find a place together. Message me for more info
Hi my name is Erin, I'm 23 and currently looking for a new home for myself and my cat Hugo. I work full time at a medical centre in Newmarket and ideally I would like to live with a flatmate who works or studies full time. I'm clean, tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. I like to be able to have a chat but also appreciate quite time and respect personal space.
Hello Everyone! My name is GeO, I'm from Egypt, 30 yo, lived in Melbourne for 2 years... N I moved to Brisbane 6 months ago for a FT job and now I'm looking for a house to share and make some more friends 😊.. I'm a traveler/couchsurfer, been to heaps of places around Europe n Middle East and I know what it means to share a house/apartment and even a room. I'm clean and I don't mess up the place around. However, I start work pretty early in the morning and go to gym/training after for an hour or 2 ... Then I'll probably be home doing one or more of the below: - Chilling with housemates - Cooking - Studying - Watching tv shows or movies😃 - Playing card/board games I also play squash once a week, Chinese martial arts 3 times/week and climb stairs (as a sport haha)! I'm very respectful, considerate, quiet and easygoing. I respect the house rules and look for peace :) Thanks for your time reading that! Have a good one 😉
I' m an absolutely openminded person and I love to meet new people. Cleanliness goes without saying and I don't want to go out all night and have a party, but I'm not sitting in my room the whole day by my own. I think I've found a good Mixture :) I like to do sports and to be outside at nature, meet some friends or whatever. At the moment I'm starting my semester abroad at QUT. I'm doing my master degree in Media and Communication.
Hi I'm Heiata I'm looking for a room as my lease is ending at the end of the month . I'm currently studying a bachelor of branded fashion at TUA (in the valley). Im pretty tidy and clean. I love outdoors activities, going for walks and working out when I'm not too busy with my studies. I'm not a party animal although I do enjoy going out occasionally with friends. I'm pretty easy and laid back and I respect others personal space. Please let me know if you have a room available and if I can visit your apartment :)
I'm from China, a PhD student at QUT, studying digital media. I love cooking and hiking and playing table tennis and badminton. I have a car so it would be perfect if there is an undercover carpark. I'm quite easy-going and quiet and respectful. Meanwhile, I love to cook and share my food. Hope we can be good friends, not just the one with whom you share a house
I am a 20 year old student from Norway currently studying Film and Television at Griffith University. I love films and writing, as well as meeting new people. This is my second year in Brisbane. I'm easy to talk to and I can promise great stories of viking battles with trolls in the Norwegian mountains! Looking for a new place to stay that is welcoming and also respectful of privacy..
Late 20s female who loves to be active, and to try out new sports / activities. Looking for somewhere clean / tidy / chill to live with off street parking. Love a chat every now and then but also like my own space. Not looking for a party house but would like the option of a friend or two coming round for a drink on the weekend. If you have a dog, I would be very happy to walk it for you! Currently working away from Brisbane one week each month.
Hi, I'm James from Annerley. My lease expires in a few weeks, and with university rapidly approaching, I'm looking for a new sharehouse. For my degree, I study I.R and French at St. Lucia, so it'd be advantageous to live with French speakers. My partner also lives in Annerley, which limits me to homes located south of the C.B.D/river. I'd like to live with mature people in their 20's or 30's with an appreciation for cleanliness, tidiness, organisation, and cooking. A cleaning roster isn't a must, but housemates should be proactive in their approach to housework and topping up ice-cube trays.. I enjoy British comedy, French films, running and gym, reading and drinking. Thanks, James.
I am very quite and easy to get along person. Highly professional and have great love for sports such as cricket and football.I will be studying full time.Reliable in paying bills.I am a International student studying Master of professional Accounting from Charles Sturt University.New in Brisbane, looking forward to making new friends and enjoy the cultural Diversity in this wonderfull city.
Hey potential roomies, I'm Dani and I'm on the hunt to find a place to rent as my current lease ends May this year Little bit about me • Have lived out of home and on my own for nearly a year now so you could say that I have this adulting thing down pat (almost) • Am a very friendly, open minded and easy-going person • Currently working part time in a chemist and studying on the job • Health conscious and working towards a healthier lifestyle • As much as I enjoy socialising, I am a hermit at heart and love my alone time • Avid Netflix watcher and closet nerd (Star Wars fan and Walking Dead obsessed) My ideal place • Has a relaxed and comfortable yet fun vibe • Is close to public transport (as I don't own a vehicle) • Is not far from the city (hello, city adventures and nights out) • Is kept clean and organised and is aesthetically pleasing Also - I have a wifi modem so am happy to split the bill for you to use it too for endless browsing and Netflix watching fun Would love to move in with likeminded people (preferably female/s) where we can hang out as a crew or come and go as we please as we'll be sharing a living space so it's important to me that we get along and respect each other. I just got to Brisbane from Brazil. I'll be starting a masters a QUT. I am looking for a single bedroom (ensuite bathroom) to move in during the first week of march, when I'll be leaving the place I am right now. I expect to find a place where I can have some privacy to study, but also enjoy some time with friends occasionally.
