Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. Sadly, after some 20 years, I had a bad experience when nursing and made the decision to try alternative work (Happy to go into details if you'd like to know - I'm fine now but needed a change). I'm currently doing forklift work in Kilsyth, but I'm enjoying it. It's hard work but the people are great. So, am looking at rentals / flatshare in that area -Kilsyth, Croydon, Bayswater, Boronia, Lilydale, etc I'm also focusing more on my music composing. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. It seemed to help and it felt good to see her smile. So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times. I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and as well as working full time, I also make a point of doing regular volunteer work where I can. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
Hi everyone! My name is Mat, I’m a 21 year old student looking for a place to live as soon as possible. I am studying physics and applied maths full time, and I also work 20-30 hour weeks. I am after the cheapest place to live (max $120 a week) in the outer eastern suburbs as I am trying to finance my whacky engineering projects. I have my own workshop in Footscray where I build rockets, combustion engines and all manner of things. With the spare time I have I like to ride motorcycles, go hiking and 4 wheel driving but also love my chill time just hanging with my roomies, watching Netflix, gaming and hosting boardgames. I love making new friends so you can expect invites to everything. Also, it should go without saying that I am LGBT+ friendly, pet friendly and I guess just friendly! Thanks for your help!
I work full time as a fully qualified painter and have my own business, work 5 days a week minimum. Will sometimes/often work weekends too. I'm happy for a good chat and love a laugh. Enjoy binge watching tv shows/movies. I'm clean and tidy and will keep my areas clean. Enjoy my privacy when needed but also happy to chat and i can cook too so happy to have a communal dinner/lunch every now and then too. I'm a tradie so i have my fair share of tools. I dont need a lot of space but if a shed/garage is already there and you could spare me some space then awesome. If not then i have my own shed that i could build in the back yard if possible. Love my sport. I play basketball twice a week, enjoy a round of golf, a pick up game of tennis is awesome. And love watching a game of footy every now and then. My time at home is usually spent spending some time with the housemates, reading a book or playing my PS4. I have a beautiful 6 year old border collie cross kelpie, a couple of years ago this wouldn't have been an option for me with her but dhe has settled down and become quite lazy so she doesn't need a lot of space to run around in anymore. She is loving and friendly with every person she meets and doesnt have a mean bone in her body. She does enjoy spending every second of time with me if she can. Often will take her to work with me every day so she wont be a hastle and i will obviously clean up after her. I think i wrote more about her then i did about myself haha.
Leah & Yogi. Female, 33, works in hospitality. I have an absolutely amazing dog who loves everyone and everything! Enjoy a beer or wine with friends and maybe a nice cooked dinner. Love sitting outside relaxing... work a lot of hours but try to enjoy the time I’m not at work.
I am a trustworthy person with a bubbly personality who enjoys life and also enjoys just chilling out at home. I work in the health industry and enjoy music. Getting out enjoying great food and awesome friends. Looking to settle back in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
I'm a very easy going person and love being around people. I have 3 sons all grown up, who I absolutely adore and they are all living independently. I have been told I am great to share with. I was born and bred in Croydon and love this side of Melbourne. I love going out to dinner, movies or anything really. I'm not a great cook and I'm a very neat and tidy person, but I'm not your mother, so please don't think I will cook and clean for you....lol I do smoke occasionally and I'm in the process of quitting, but NEVER in doors I moved back with my 83 year old mother 6 months ago, as she was recovering from an operation, but would now like/need to live away from her again. I interact well with all ages and both genders
My name is Dean. I'm 25 Fully qualified boilermaker. Looking for friendly; likeminded individuals to share a house with. 90s Pop culture Don't mind a drink socially Bands > DJs
**Single Mum, looking for single Mum/parent/female to rent a large house with** Probably unrealistic in my search but worth a try! Hi my name's Caz, I'm a single professional Mum. I have 2 children aged 4 & 6, they are noninvasive, well behaved kids (of course I'm going to say that, but it's the truth) they are in my care 70% of the time. I also have an 11yr old staffy x whippet (yes you read that correctly), he's weird but lovable, loves cats and children, doesn't like other dogs. I am easy going, hilarious at times, neat and tidy, respectful of others and the path they have walked. I get along with almost everyone and love a chat and a bev, but also enjoy my own personal space, and respect that you would to. I am a part time practice nurse and casual agency nurse, and when I don't have my kids, I'm either working my casual job or out spending time with friends. On weekends I have the kids, we are out doing stuff or visiting friends and family in Geelong. I'm also about to commence online study - Bachelor of Criminology - because my life isn't busy enough... sense the sarcastic tone! At present I live in temporary accommodation that will finish end of May due to the property being demolished and an estate being built, I can move at any time, and would prefer not to get too comfortable here. I would happily live on my own but with my budget in mind, all I can seem to find is 2 bedroom units that resemble shoe boxes, hence why I'm posting this to see if anyone in the same boat would like to live in a bigger house with much more room to move. You don't have to be a single mum, but you'll have to be ok with living with one. My children and I would only require 2 rooms and a bathroom (they like sharing a room, as they are still at the age, they think each other are awesome). Happy to share all other amenities. I'm really done with moving around, and am keen to find somewhere my kids and I can just be...hassle...drama free :)
I recently moved back to Australia after living in California for the last 30 years. I just started working 3 days per week in Kilsyth and plan to spend the next 6 months studying for my real estate license. I live a fairly quiet life, spending lots of time with my family after being away from them for so long. I love dogs, like to cook an one of the reasons I am great to live with is my easy going nature and the fact that I am very clean and tidy (not obsessively though!)
I’m a quiet, friendly 53 year old lady. I’m a non smoker, who likes to cook and eat healthy, I like walking, reading, glass painting, candle-making. I’m very clean, considerate and helpful. I have 2 male de-sexed cats, both are 13 months old, housetrained, people & animal friendly. One is a Maine Coone cross the other a Bengal cross. I hope to share with a lady. Thanks for reading and if you have a house you would like to share please message me and I will come meet you. Lorraine
My name is Jude/Judy I am looking for a room to rent while i am studying for an "aged care" course which goes for 7 months. I also work part time in the hospitality industry. I study 2 full days a week and work mainly afternoon shift 2 to 3 times a week. I love watching the AFL and going to watch my team play when i can, or going to the local pub to watch them play if its on foxtel. I have a small 17yrs old dog by the name of Boofey. He still gets walk everyday and is no trouble at all. I am still trying to save a bit of money to move up north in the near future, but thats a long way yet. I have a 28 year old son who lives near the city. Every now and then he takes me to see Melbourne Storm play because he loves the Rugby League. I am easy going and get on well with anyone.
Moving from Adelaide to Melbourne on March 1st looking for someone to team up and apply for rental properties with, or open to a room in an existing share house with the right people. I'm clean and tidy. I have a full-time job. I'm not a party animal and I'm happy to socialise with housemates and chip in for spring cleans etc. Only requirement I need is a garage or secure parking to park a vehicle. I also respect people's privacy and space as I like to have my own space as well. Look forward to hearing from future housemates Cheers
I am a self employed makeup artist, who is also doing a few courses coming up. I have a good income, I usually work from home, but obviously will be finding a salon to work from while sharing a household. Recently broke up with long term partner suddenly and in desperate need of housing, as currently couch sitting. I am an only child, which means i am very quiet and happy in my own company. I spend my spare time binge watching tv shows, movies or eating. Please message me if you think I would fit your household.
Love to cook, live a fairly quiet life, love animals, clean and tidy, my mum taught me well, I'm respectful, love a joke and all diverses of music. I have lived in Lilydale my whole life, and work here as a Storeman. Socially, I mix with closest friends, going out to dinner, spending time with family, brother, so pretty normal stuff.
