Hi there I'm Kirsty, a budding writer. Being a drug and alcohol worker pays my rent/bills but I'm making space in my life to spend more time writing and pursuing creative goals. Single, never married, no kids. I'm healthy, balanced, friendly, clean and responsible. I'm funny too. Well, I think I'm funny. I'm into exercise, meditation, writing, animals, cooking, TV series', socialising. I love down time too though and have been known to binge watch and not leave my bedroom for awhile. I don't drink or use drugs. I like to travel and get away for the weekend sometimes. I'm friendly and open but I also like as much space and privacy as the average person and offer the same to others. I earn enough to be fully self supporting and pay my rent/bills.
Currently working and studying full time in Perth. I do have an 8 y/o child, and a Boston Terrier in which would be hoping she could join. Once in Melbourne i plan to find work if not fond prior. We are easy to live with and do go out often. Amelia
Im 20 I work to jobs at a pub in Richmond and hogs breath in chadstone. Next year I'll be studying at William Anglos so between studying and working you'll hardly see me. I'm great to live with as I'm a respectful person that will definitely respect your wishes and think of others not just myself. I clean up after myself, very clean person to live with. I can also cook and love to cook for big groups.
Myself and my friend are coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering. We both are looking rooms at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
Hey I'm Alex, I'm 24 and I'd like to apply for a new place with one or two other people. I'm pretty easy going, tidy, and respectful of space. I like to go out occasionally, I like keeping active, reading, cooking, and boxing. I have staffy, and she's house trained and well behaved. I'm currently studying a diploma in massage therapy and working. Ideally would like to find a place to share with someone open minded, similar to my age and working. I'm up for renting a unit or a house, or applying for a new place anywhere within an hour of travel to the city. I've got all household items, furniture, appliances etc, and unlimited internet. My budget is about $250 a week on my end. Thanks :)
I like to keep to myself but enjoy socialising also. I'm borderline OCD so i love to be clean and in a clean environment. I work full time. Love animals, would love to have a pet one day. I'm bad at writing bios also :)
i am a kenyan, know when to mind my own business and also know how to have fun. i am a student and also work at cabrini ashwood.
I am simple - low to no maintenance, responsible, mature and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at a university here in Melbourne and my contract is extended every week. ----- Retal Terms ----- Can move-in today Period: 1 to 12 weeks I can pay upfront every week ($100-150 p/w is my budget) No Bond. If place is really good, we can discuss 1 week bond but it will go to RTBA. 3-7 day notice for both of us. ---- My offer is for short-medium term accomodation. It is quite good because in the short-term I can occupy the room (that may not be occupied), and should you find someone for the long-term, then you can give me 3-7 day notice and I can move out. My only requirements are: Quiet Environment to sleep or rest at any time, if needed. Fast Internet, ideally cable. Privacy & Security of my belongings. I will occasionally cook, sleep and thats it. Ideally the room has a bed, kitchen and post box, and is relatively clean. Please contact me if you are interested.
I'll be in Europe in January/February and am looking for a place for when I get back to Melbourne at the end of February. I've spent nearly 2 years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.
We are a quiet, respectful English couple who have a passion for adventure, outdoors, travel, sports and great at cooking. We are clean, tidy and easy to get along with. We are social and love sharing our stories but also enjoy our own time. We look forward to hearing from you!
I recently moved to the peninsula from Western Australia. I work at a restaurant in Mornington whilst studying commerce full time. Over the summer I do work a lot so with my spare time I do like to spend it out with my friends. I am clean, tidy, respective and friendly :)
Hi! I am moving over to Melbourne from Perth next year and want to live somewhere near the beach if possible! And of course love to be near the beach to swim and surf.
Hi! My name is Asha, I'm a 23 year old student studying Early Childhood and Primary Education at Monash Uni in Frankston and work full time locally. I love cooking and believe it or not I love cleaning.. alot. However not an annoying neat freak! I like going out and socialising on the weekends but also really enjoy down time during the week. Happy to respect other house mates wishes and compromise on most levels. Let me know if you think I would be a suitable house mate for you :)

PLEASE READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING I've been renting for about a year now, and my time at my current home is coming to a close. Looking for a new home in the east/south east. I am a casual stocktaker with a reliable income, and I work at various times on different days. I don't drive or own a car so I would prefer to be close to public transport. I clean up after myself, am careful in my usage of home utilities and respect others' privacy and personal space, so I hope to expect the same from those I share with. I'm pretty quiet but happy to socialise, and I'm open to house events and the like. In my free time, I tend to keep to myself as I'm a bit of an introvert. I like to play games, read, watch movies and learn things to cook. I don't often drink or go out, but I don't care if anyone else does. I'm also non-vegan (don't mind if you are), non-smoker and am happy with LGBT+. I'd prefer to live with other non-smokers, and people who aren't fussed about my sexuality. My boyfriend sometimes comes over for a visit, or to stay the night, and other nights I stay at his place (we work together so it depends). He is 21, quiet and respectful. We mostly keep to ourselves, playing games and watching stuff on my computer. If there is anything you need to know, please feel free to message me. :)
Hello, I'm Travis! I'm generally a very tidy person, lover of animals and am always on time with my bill payments. I'm hoping to be out of my current residence quite soon, due to an unfair and unsatisfactory living environment (sorry if you're one of my current housemates reading this... but it's true). Hopefully starting a full time Cert IV course in Moorabbin come February, though I'm also looking for employment in the meantime. Still don't have my licence yet, nor a car, but I'm working on it, so I take transport pretty much everywhere. That's a brief summary of me. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Have a great day!
Hey, I'm Tess a 25 yr old female studying to be a primary school teacher. Alongside my study I have two jobs, one at a primary school and one in retail, so I am a fairly busy person! I am positive, clean and love a good laugh. I'm equally happy having a chill night on the couch or going out for dinner/drinks, and I like to exercise in my spare time. I have grown up in Melbourne but have lived overseas for a year and love to travel whenever i can afford it. I am looking for likeminded people who love to enjoy life. I've currently been renting in Cheltenham, but am happy to live anywhere from the city out to the south eastern suburbs.
-Respectful of privacy, very tidy and easy going -Always happy to do some cooking and share meals together and have a chat -Hardly home, always at uni or work(chef) -Very friendly and always happy to help with home maintenance
I'm Melinda and I work as a Nurse. I'm easy going and friendly. Currently looking for a room to rent (incl utility bills)
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
I'm looking for a place / room to rent in Torquay over the summer, for at least three months. Happy to sign on to a lease if required, split bills etc. Close to the beach would be ideal. I'm pretty easy-going about things.
Currently in my 3rd year of Uni studying full-time, doing a Bachelor of Science at Monash University and I have another semester to go after this year with the possibility of further studies, either doing a postgraduate or Masters degree. I enjoy keeping busy during the day and between studying, volunteering and working part-time as a dental assistant and customer service officer, I don't really have time for much else. I do enjoy going out on weekends but I am not a party person at all although I wouldn't mind the occasional party but I'm not the type of person to go overboard - In fact, I'm really sensible. I'm a bit of a neat freak (clean and tidy), easy going and relaxed. I will mind my own business and happy to do my own things but will socialise or happy to have dinner together, etc... I currently live with 40 people and get along with all of them although I don't see all 40 at once. I'm definitely a really independent person and have been from a young age of living by myself so I can take care of myself, the house and being mindful of other people is important too! I'm looking to either share a house with 1 or 2 people, preferably someone who studies or a young professional who is working OR to go into an existing house that may have 1 or 2 people already sharing. More than one bathroom is preferable along with a garage to house my car, but not essential. Looking to move out end of this year or early next year before uni resumes in March. In saying this, I am open to any ideas so please ask for more information to get to know me!
Hey funky friends! So here's the boring stuff straight up - My name is Alannah, I am from the South Gippsland region and I finished Year 12 in 2015 and have had a nice gap year this year and am studying Psychology at Deakin University in Burwood in 2017... So, you know, I gotta find me some good ol' accommodation. Not too costly preferably, as I am a classic poor Uni student. 😅 Now to the good shit. I am a world-class Mario Kart 64 player so if you're feeling it we can 10/10 have a tournament (I'll supply the goods - controllers, console, wine etc) or we can just play any 64 game together and swim in our nostalgia and your tears when I kick yo' ass. Wii, DS, XBOX and PlayStation games are also welcome with open arms. 😘 Sorry to fit the stereotype that vegans tell you they're vegan even when you don't ask, but, I am vegan. I don't care if you're not vegan. We can have sausage sizzles and burgers and massive fiestas together and we'll drink some Sangria and release our inner Spanish sides (even though my heritage is purely Scottish, English and French 😅) and, I don't mean to toot my own horn (I do) but I make a meeeean vegan spaghetti bolognese. Sausage rolls, too, that have been approved by many Omni's. So why wouldn't you have me as your house mate? If you have some little beings living in your house I'll like you even more. Woofers? Meowers? Sqwarkers? Squeekers? Oh yas, bring 'em on, baby. Brownie points for you if you got dem pets. My hair color will change frequently depending on my mood. No -unfortunately I'm not Nymphadora Tonks - I just wear wigs. #theredhairisfake #imactuallyablonde I'm not a massive party animal, but if you're having a party I'll totally join in. And all jokes aside, I am very respectful and will give you space and be clean and all those top qualities. Hit me up with a message if you'd be keen on finding a place together. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm currently studying nursing and work part time most mornings and afternoons. I'm looking for a tidy and clean place . I'm pretty easygoing and enjoy the occasional chat but also understand personal space .
Clean/tidy female, young 40's, administrator temp/musician, garden guru, sociable/loves a laugh, yet mostly quiet, considerate & respectful of others, seeking good sized room in sharehouse or similar. I don't have children, instead two fur babies - a 14 y/old, blind, teeny, tiny Italian Greyhound, Angus, who lives under a doonah 90% of the time, and Buddah is a beautiful big old cat who enjoys the garden. Both very affectionate, quiet, well-mannered house guests.
Hi so, Im Kel and i work full time as an artist Im currently looking for a new place to move into after Dec 09 when I'm back from working in the USA. Im only interested in the suburbs i have listed thanks :-) I'm super tidy without the being anal, and am friendly but quite happy to go out on my own too, and i have no partner or pet, Its just me and my trusty van 'busty p' looking for a new place to call home! So i need NON permit st parking or off st parking only please. :-) I'm keen to move in with people who I can be social with after work, but who will also give me my space when I need it (part of my job is chatting to clients all day). I work days (m,t,th,f,s) and unfortunately also have "homework"..... but somehow i manage to keep a reasonable work life balance. I love to travel and go overseas at least twice a year (Thailand is a fave - i do volunteer work in animal shelters), but am based here in Melbourne. Im also originally from the Uk, but this coming Feb ill have clocked up 11 years here in Australia. I like to go out in Fitzroy or St Kilda and see some live local bands and generally hang out in the edinburgh gardens during the summer or go road tripping in my van down for some beach time.
Hi! I have just moved back to Melbourne from 2 years in Townsville. I work full time as a property manager. I’m laid back, clean, respectful. I love my own space but love a chat and am always out and about on weekends. I am fairly active and quite social. Having lived on the beach for two years in Townsville I am really wanting to move somewhere close to it here. No pets and am a social smoker only.
I'm a high school teacher at a catholic all girls school in Box Hill and have been for two years however next year I am returning to university to study a Master of Actuarial Studies at Monash University in Clayton. Hence the need to move for convenience. I am friendly, social, fit, play sport, love live music (play bass guitar), love to hang out and fill my weekend. Happy to hang out with house mates and meet new people. I am very respectful of others and their property and am always happy to do a favor for a friend.
I'm a 30 year old Behavioural Dog trainer, I love to cook (eat), read, watch movies and hang out with friends and family for a quiet drink. I have an elderly cat and a 6 year old Pug x Shih Tzu who love to cuddle and watch Netflix. I earn a steady income but work odd hours, a lot of afternoons and nights. I'm looking for somewhere to tune out from the world and relax, a hideout from the stressors of life!
I'm a neat, tidy and laid-back person in full-time employment in Clayton looking for similar-minded folk to share a place with. I work from 9 - 5 Monday to Friday, and in my downtime I tend to either play video games, waste time on the internet or play the guitar! NBN / Cable internet would be a big advantage. I am friendly and sociable, but also respectful of people's personal space and downtime. Regarding the location - anywhere between the city and Clayton would be ideal, as that's where I work :)
Hi all, I'm Mitchell, a 26 year old Physiotherapist and have been living in Melbourne since March (originally from Sydney). I think we can all agree that Melbourne is the better city of the two! I work in Mornington Peninsula and live within the area, but am looking for something in the lower half of Bayside. I'll be working full time throughout the weekdays. I'm fairly active - most weeknights I'll be training in martial arts (judo) or strength & conditioning. I enjoy travelling and outdoor activities. In my free time, I like to catch up with friends over food and drinks (massive foodie) and exploring more of Melbourne's goodness. Otherwise, I enjoy just being at home too. I don't party. I'm social, easy-going and respectful. I've stayed in 2 sharehouses, so I know how to be considerate of the house and everyone in it. I enjoy cooking, and am happy to share meals and conversation too. I'm an ambivert, or a well balanced introvert; I enjoy the company of others, but I also crave quiet time to myself at times. I hope to find a housemate/housemates who are like-minded.
I'm a friendly and clean 30 year old female beauty professional looking for a share house or team up to find a house /flat for me and my 4 year old small Female shih tzu. I tend to like quieter houses where I can have some alone time but like to have a chat as well. My little dog is happy and easy going and loves everyone , she gets along with most other dogs too. I always keep her clean and she is toilet trained . I'm not really the partying type and am more into reading, movies and a healthy lifestyle that includes walks , the gym and mediation where I can fit it in :) I'm respectful, kind and easy to live with .
Hi, I am a really easy going friendly Aussie who works fulltime. I am quiet at home, clean and respectable. I am an electrician by trade and have moved here from QLD. Also a non smoker nor a party animal. I would love to be your new housemate! I don't mind if you have somewhere from 4 weeks to a year just let me know what you have available.
Really positive and easy to get along with! Love everyone I meet, love my personal space and cleaning up after myself! But also am a massive social butterfly! I have lived in Torquay all my life but am ready to start living up in the big smoke! I am working two jobs at Chadstone Shopping centre and next year I will be studying Diploma of Sports Development. I love sport, exercise and eating well, I have a boyfriend who lives in Burwood so I might not be home all the time, however he would be over throughout the week also. Im a pretty chill chick n love some good banter! Feel free to hit me up if you think we'd be a good roommate match and we can hopefully organise to catch up for a drink and chat! I've seen plenty of really nice houses I would love to start applying for in the areas I have listed above already! P.S would prefer a room with either an ensuite or shared bathroom, but am open to come and have a look at the house either way!
I've been living in sharehouses for nearly 3 years now and I am fully house-trained. I'm good fun, sociable and a pretty good cook. I clean up after myself and liking keeping things tidy but am not OCD about it. I like having my privacy but don't hole up in my room the entire day. I like coming home after a day at work and have someone to chat with or share some good food and wine with. If it sounds like we can live together, without killing each other just shoot me a message and I'll be in touch.
Hi there , I'm Sian and I'm 23 years old. I'm laid back , respectful and a tidy person to live with. I enjoy my own space but don't mind a good chat from time to time. Most weekends I'm out and about. Feel free to send me a message if your interested :)

I'm a 26 year old winemaker working in Merricks on the Mornington Peninsula. I also have a small wine tasting business and study Wine Science part time. I have been living by myself on a hobby farm for the last two years and want to move in to central Mornington so I can walk to get a coffee anytime I like! It would be nice to be a bit more social too. I just want to live somewhere where it's a bit more happening. I love my guitar, music, sport and growing veggies! I do not smoke or have any pets!
Hey, Im Amanda. 30 and a full time student at Deakin studying Psych. I'm either looking for someone to move in and share my unit or looking to team up with someone. I have everything a house needs so can contribute furniture, washer and fridge. I have a Staffy called Nala who is desexed and lovable so a dog lover (or at least dog liker) is a must. Im pretty easy going, I enjoy a glass of wine and a good chat. I love cooking and so will often offer dinner and would be a bonus to be able to find someone who reciprocated it occasionally :) I like going out for dinner, walks with Nala, weekends away and spending time with friends. I would like to find someone who is looking for somewhere to live for at least a year and happy to socialise and have a chat and also have own time. :) Feel free to ask any questions and also check out my room for rent add. Thanks, Amanda

Hello there! I am currently studying in high school as a student :) I am a very friendly and upbeat person!! I know how to have fun but I also respect when people need their quiet time. i'm a very understanding and adaptable person. I can keep to myself when needed and know my boundaries, but I still know how to have a good time :)
Hi I'm Griffin, i'm a first year apprentice and from the local area. In my spare time I enjoy watching films, going to the gym, experimental cooking and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for a nice room for me and my cat Odin in the local area.
Hi, my name is Britt. I'm a 24 year old female from New Zealand. I've been living in Melbourne since May and have recently accepted a full time job in Sandringham working at a vet clinic so am now looking to move into the area. I'm looking for a fun and tidy place to live with flatmates of a similar age. I'm a chilled out sort of person who enjoys socialising, fitness, and watching a good movie in my downtime.
Happy to move out sooner than Jan 1st. Im just in no hurry if i dont find something i like. Looking to find a new home and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Ideally looking to rent with a few people, dont mind a crowded house :) Happy to live with guys or girls, would prefer people in their 20s though. Im friendly and social, though i know people need their space from time to time. Working as a tradie now but used to be in a corporate role so used to all kinds of people, get along with everyone. Earn a good wage in a stable job. No issues paying rent/bills on time. Dont smoke or do drugs. Good sense of humor. Hmmm. Not sure what else to write, hobbies? i spend a lot of time at the gym in a futile attempt to bulk up a bit. Snowboarding in winter, camping in summer. Need any more info just ask :)
