Hey! I'll be looking for a new place to live at the start of JULY, I would love to meet some people who are looking to do the same, or have a room available. Both my roommates are moving on, one overseas and the other inner state to start her career. I work full time in Darra so I would like to stay south of the river, but still close enough to the city/valley. I wouldn't mind living with either male/s or female/s, as long as they are around the same age. Preferably no more than 2 roommates. I've got a few things for a share house, fridge, kitchen stuff, dining table n chairs, outdoor setting, etc. Avid Triple J listener that loves checking out gigs n festivals. I'm always keeping busy with catching up with mates n making plans. Keen to meet some new friends :) Feel free to ask me anything !
Quiet, professional female. Fairly busy so rarely at home, sociable and enjoy a quiet drink/meal but not really a partier. Often at my boyfriends place so may not be seen much sometimes. Prefer something unfurnished and hopefully with some storage space as I have had my own place and a fair bit of household furniture and stuff. Its all currently in storage at moment, however if I have room to have/store some or all of it that is preferable. Prefer close to train station, public transport as work in valley. Have been staying with boyfriend past couple months but his lease is up so time to move out.
Hi! I'm a British backpacker on my second year working holiday visa, looking to lay down some roots in the best city in the world! Where I live and for how long is very open to negotiation. I'm house shared enough to know when to clean and when to let a plate in the sink go. I'm independent and have friends here but always keen for a chat and tea/wine. That's a long winded way of saying I'm not needy. An arbitrary list of likes of demanded by this website: writing, halloumi, the beach, the bush. I'm pretty standard.
EaSy going, friendly, respectful Social Worker with a small little dog called Iggy, She is under 2kg and house trained, loves all other people and dogs and is too adorable to say no to! Looking for a share house with preferably only 1 or 2 other people in the house.
Hey! Here's a little bit about Shaye and I: - We are friends - We are both first year female students studying Business (Marketing and Economics) at QUT Gardens Point - We are generally very easy to get along with - We both have access to furniture for our spaces - Shaye would need a place to store her little car (Connie the Corolla) - We are on the lookout for a place to move into around Mid June - We both love food and music - Would love to get to know some new people as we both moved from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane this year! Thanks, Andie and Shaye :)
My names Matt 29 from Newcastle, I have recently separated from my partner who I have children to (I will visit them at there mums place) I am still currently living with my ex partner, this is why i need a place soonish! I am a full time worker in the construction industry. I am easy going fun and clean guy that doesn't mind a good time or a chat. I can respect people's privacy and alone time. I will be out most nights after work and probably in and out during the weekend. I am happy for long or short term I just need to make a move as soon as possible. If there's a room that already has a bed that would be awesome but not an issue if you don't. If you would like to know more just let me know.
I am looking for a place to stay while I study my Master's degree in Public Health at QUT Kelvin Grove. Maximum of $150 needs to include bills. Internet is definitely important :D I tend to keep late hours and try to be respectful, but if you go to bed at 8pm and get up at 5am I might not be the best fit for your house. I am nerdy, and I like watching Netflix a lot (Currently going through Star Trek OS). I have a degree in English and History, with a Diploma in Anthropology I do suffer from bipolar disorder, so a supportive household is much appreciated. I love to knit and play 3rd person fantasy PC games. I really enjoy hanging out with my housemates, but can't do things like shared meals because I am on a tight budget. I have a double bed, a small computer table, a small chest of drawers, and clothes storage. Currently on Youth Allowance, but have never been behind on rent. Edit: If you also have another room, I can recommend a friend.
I'm a 21 years old Brazilian guy looking for a place walk distance to the city. I work part-time 6 days a week so and study one night per week. I'm really easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. If you think you would like to live with me and have a nice place, hit me up! :)
Hi! My name is Violet. I am a Chinese girl and about to study master degree for 2 years in UQ,St Lucia campus. My major is information system under commerce program.I love cooking Chinese food and I swear people who live with me may need to work out very often to keep fit. I am fond of body-building now, and playing guitar, all types of music, singing, reading and traveling. And it would be better if my flatmates have the same interests as me. There is one point I need to say...that is I really afraid of spiders..So it would be better if my flatmates can "conquer" them...I am tidy , respectful, considerate and willing to solve any problem we meet during the rent. If you want me to make my move date earlier or later ,pls contact me. I havn't buy airline ticket yet so everything can be changed. Ps: I love the pets but I am afraid I can not get used to live with them :(
Musician studying post graduate degree at Griffith South Bank. Outgoing and laid back, would love a friendly house and people who don't mind a glass of wine or two after a long week. Also will have a (very well behaved) kitten so needs to be ok with that :) Please message to find out more!
I'm extremely tidy and clean regularly. I'm respectful of other people's space but am normally social. I work in the city and when I come home I generally work out, cook and watch TV. I'm gone at least one weekend a month, usually two, visiting friends and family on the Gold Coast and Toowoomba. I'd prefer to live with just one person but am open to more. Happy to answer questions if you want to know more.
Have an Xbox and plenty of games. As well as being a half decent cook (when I can be bothered). Neat and tidy at home. Just looking for somewhere near and today to hang my hat at the end of the day. Bit of a wine-o so enjoy a good drop. Not a party animal but more than ok if you are. Currently looking for somewhere 15 June on. Travel frequently for work and personal and so you will often be free of me and have the place to yourself! Can also help with cheap travel ;)
i do carpentry, i have good people skill, confident, very sporty and will have training most afternoons, i dont mind hanging out but also enjoy my privacy just need somewhere on the south side closer to training as I'm currently traveling an hour and a half each way.
Hi we're Deanna and Laura from England . Currently in Australia on our working holiday visa and searching for some sunshine! We want to stay in Brisbane for 3 months whilst we save more money. We're both lovely polite girls who tidy up after ourselves and really don't like messy/dirty places. After so many months travelling it would be so nice to call somewhere home for a little bit. We're sociable and love to go out at weekends and have fun but are considerate to our housemates. We're also really into hiking, the outdoors and exploring aswell so would be awesome to meet like minded people! We're more than happy to share a room if we have to but would prefer our own bathroom if a possibility. Also looking for team ups for the time we're here, would be awesome to have a little gang! Get in touch! xo
We have both been living in sharehouses for at least the last 3 years. We're clean, tidy and considerate and love cooking food. Josh is a 25 year old metal fabricator and Mita is a 22 year old business student. We'd be a great addition to any place.
Hi! Em and I are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane. Both of us are going to be first timers in Australia and also, will be students. We also plan doing part time jobs. We both are quite friendly and easy going ( well, that's how we even became friends in the first place even w/o meeting each other :P ) We don't mind rooms in a share house but not with too many people in it. We wouldn't mind a drink or meal every now and then with our housemates and also, give em their space whenever needed. We are looking at a budget of 380 together inclusive of all the bills and also, a furnished room. We will make sure to pay the rent on time and give a hand in the house chores. We wouldn't mind whole properties too, and if someone else is willing to team up with us ^_^ We don't come with any pets or extra luggage. Just some clothes and our baggage and of course our awesomeness and some cool vibes! ;) Feel free to drop in a text if you have anything to offer. x
Hi Guys I'm Andy , originally from the UK but now have residency here in Australia. Looking for a room to rent in a nice friendly house hold . Ideally with people between the ages of 20-36 , prefer to share with females simply because they keep things clean and tidy and I just get on better with females than men but would be happy in a mixed house as well. I'm 31 yr old single male, I work as a full time mechanic , I go the gym everyday either before work or on my way back from work . I don't smoke or take any form of drugs and I'm not a big drinker on the whole but I do like to let my hair down once in a while. I'm a bubbly , fun character always up for a laugh and will go out of my way to help others. I like to get out and about on my days off either to the beach or a catch up with friends or have a bbq. I'm clean and tidy and respect other peoples privacy and possessions. Happy to cook for other people or help in any way I can I pay on time but have been known to pay early . Looking in Brisbane and surrounding areas . Happy to go in with someone on a new share house/apartment . I don't have any pets , just little old me :) The only things I have to insist on are ,I need my own bathroom and I must have secure undercover parking for one vehicle. would prefer not to share a house with cats as I really don't get on with them but dogs are OK Currently overseas till mid July If you have any questions at all please get in touch :) Andy :)
Halfway through studying a BA in Japanese and Economics and Diploma of Languages in Spanish at UQ and working part time. I love being outdoors and baking, so can and will provide fresh banana bread for housemate afternoon teas! Looking for an easygoing bunch who keep a quiet house during the week and who enjoy a cold one on a Friday afternoon.
Just an easy going gal looking for like minded folk to reside with, generally a quiet & clean human during the week when working, like a socialize on the weekend. Not looking for a massive share house but happy to keep options open. Hit me up if you have anything that sounds fitting. Cheers, Jorja.
Myself and my girlfriend Madeleine are looking for housemates to team up with close to the city, preferably in West End, Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane, Newstead, New Farm or Teneriffe (but we are happy to look elsewhere if need be). We're both 23 this year and work in the city in finance/economics. We're clean and tidy, active, and love cooking, coffee and music. We won't be home much during the week, and like to spend the weekends outdoors or catching up with friends (preferably over brunch or wine). We're looking to share a furnished 2bdrm, 2bath, inner city apartment close to public transport around the $450-$600 p/w mark. Would love to hear from you if you're like-minded! - we're happy to chat or catch up for a coffee.
