Hi there! I am a friendly and polite person looking for an ensuite bedroom in a clean flatshare for a short stay, like 2-3 month from 1st Jan 2019.
Looking for Jan 2019. It's me, my daughter and two cats, Gizmo and Trinity. We're very clean, quiet and relaxed, like to keep to ourselves, the two cats are the same. Looking for like minded flatmate/s to split the cost of a place. A granny flat or something slightly seperate for our own space would be ideal, but happy to look at other options. My daughters school is in Mount Gravatt so looking to stay close by for a few more years. I'm a working professional, super organised, always pay bills etc on time or before due date.
I am very clean and work a lot, I study every day and go to the gym every day, I work as a health and wellbeing adviser, I am looking to live with people who are career motivated drug-free and no kids, I am very focused on self-development and need to be around people who are just as focused too. I like to stick to myself most of the time and work a lot, I do like to be social sometimes but need to spend the majority of my time working. I'm in no rush to move but I would like a furnished place and also I have a cat, she is an inside cat and doesn't use the litter box she always goes outside.
I'm 35 and a building supervisor. I have a 8 year old dog named Archie who is a well behaved pet who rarely barks. Recently separated from a marriage and looking for people of a similar age to rent with.
I'm a 26yo working full-time in the pro sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy some downtime with and try new activities. I'm looking for housemates of a similar age who are positive, driven and know how to have some fun. In my downtime I enjoy: - Cooking and trying new foods - Going to the gym, Bodyboarding, Ukulele and singing badly - Board Games, Reading, Winding down in front of a view or nature - Watching/playing sports Also: - Pet friendly (definitely dog friendly!) - During my work season I'm fairly busy and will be frequently away on weekends - I highly value honesty and reliability and would expect the same from potential roommates My number 1 priority will be finding great housemates that I'll fit in with so if you think we might be a good fit shoot us a message - Thanks!
I'm a 24 year old British ex-pat now permanently living in Brisbane. I graduated from UQ (psychology) and work part-time in medical research. I plan on returning to post-grad study in about another year. I don't smoke, have no pets, and only drink on rare occasions. I enjoy living with, rather than just existing, in the same house as people. Love a good conversation but enjoy my down time as well as being out most evenings at dance class. My move out date is flexible but ideally looking for somewhere new from the start of January.
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and won't be there that much as I am from the Gold Coast so always down there of a weekend seeing family and friends. I am fun, outgoing and social. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. I prefer a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe.
Hey guys, I’m Dylan and I’m 22. I’m looking to rent a place for a little while and see how it goes. I just got out of a serious 3 year relationship and I’ve gone back to my parents but i really need some space from them. I’m a self employed contractor that’s works 5-6 days a week . I have a great income and feel like I can really contribute to the house. I have a Ute which always comes in handy and always down for a close run ! About me. I’m pretty chill and will keep to myself a lot. All I do is work gym sleeep ! I don’t do much cooking as I love of protein powder and fruit haha so I will barely need the kitchen ! What I’m after. I’m not looking to be in a lease. I’m looking to pay 2 weeeks upfront and 1 week on the day I move in ! Much love !!
I'm a quiet-type. No loud music, respect personal space and love animals. I'm just as happy sitting down playing games or watching TV/listening to music as I am to get out of the house and do some exploring. I work in office admin so I'm usually home during the weekend. Although kids are cool, I got my quota of entertaining them working at a theme park so won't be looking for a place that has kids. Would love to share with someone (or a few someones) that like to chill out and not take the world too seriously. I'm a smoker but only ever smoke outside. I have my own bedroom furniture (and a MASSIVE double-door fridge) so I'm looking for an unfurnished room at least. Also have my own car - so would need at least on-street parking. 420 friendly xo
Been here past 2 years doing my PhD, so have some household items with me and looking for an unfurnished room. Pretty easy-going, clean, and social but also, appreciate alone time. I've lived with guys and girls, so not fussed, but do prefer similar age housemates. I do leave couple months at a time for my research, but when I'm around, I enjoy catching up with a glass of wine after work, love cooking, and spending any free weekend outdoors hiking/camping/climbing etc. So if you also love all things under the sun, we'll get along quite well!
I'm 30 and from London and have been in Australia for 2.5 years and loving every second. I work as a HR Advisor, and also study very part time doing leadership and management. I like to be as active and busy as possible. I love the beach and being outdoors either hiking or camping, Anything where I'm exploring makes me happy. I'm a fun and sociable girl who enjoys meeting new people and am extremely clean and tidy. I am a positive person who sees the good in everything and like to be around like minded people. I have lived out of home since I was 16 so I am very well house trained and respectful when living with other people. I am wanting to live with people who will become my friends and not just people I live with
I'm James :) I'm a 21 year old (nearly 22) post-grad physiotherapist who just graduated this year and will be working full time at a hospital next year and am looking for a place to live. I moved down from the Sunshine Coast in my first year of Uni and while I've been studying I lived by myself for my first year in student accommodation and then after that have been living with my Aunty and Uncle. A bit about me: I'm a hard working person who enjoys being independent but am also more than happy to hang out and chill :) I'm also very tidy (my aunty can vouch for me there!) and I enjoy cooking. When I'm not working/studying I enjoy keeping active - playing touch football and running or swimming. I also enjoy reading and playing guitar…but not too loudly :) I don't smoke or drink (alcohol). But I still enjoy a good yarn.
I have been living in Brisbane for 6months now and I am looking for a new place to live as the lovely lady I currently live with (who owns the unit) is moving OS. I am 33yo/female. I work full time in the city. I pay rent/bills on time and I am pretty clean (I come with my own Dyson, if that says anything about me!!). I have a car and would need either on or off street parking. Im looking for a room with a fan and aircon, and a pool would be an amazing bonus! I don’t smoke and I’m not a big drinker - I would usually prefer a cup of tea. Im flexible on the room being furnished or unfurnished. My budget is $300-$350 max including all bills (electric/gas/internet/water). I am open to a discussion about bills and rent. I am friendly and love a chat but also respect privacy and enjoy my own company. I enjoy going to the beach, sightseeing, reading, exploring Brisbane and meeting new people. Please feel free to contact me.
Hello! I am a future Drama student at QUT looking for accommodation to help settle into Brisbane. I am vegan and a non-smoker. I love shopping, entertainment, nature and music. I am very neat, organised and respectful of personal space. I do have a car so I am looking for a place where I am able to park my car either in the garage or off the street. I'm unsure about how long I will be living in the flat but it's most likely a minimum of 6 months.
Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have job. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient but not essential. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good but not essential. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
We are very easygoing and friendly people who enjoy our privacy and comfort. We currently work full-time hours (I work day, he works evenings) and are looking for a nice space for the both of us to move out into. Daniel enjoys gaming, I enjoy working on my small business projects from my laptop and dancing. In our spare time we enjoy eating out, watching movies and every now and then do something outdoors.
Hi! We're two Tasmanians moving to Brisbane for uni in 2019. We're both easygoing, open-minded people who enjoy a quiet beer of an evening and are respectful of others' space. Abbie is studying Forensic Science and Criminology at Griffith university, loves true crime docos, and is a huge fan of the Melbourne Demons. She's fond of music, and dabbles in bands when time allows. Harley is studying Paramedic Science at QUT, loves history, and tries to stay active through Muay Thai. He loves to cook, enjoys reading, and loves animals. He also enjoys watching sport, particularly cricket and the NBA.
Hey! I'm looking to move out mid February 2019 or a little earlier! I'm a uni student who works part time, and already have had experience living out of home. I'm pretty relaxed and don't mind a good chat, but still appreciate some time to myself. Looking to move in with easy-going, but also well-organised and respectful roommates.
I’m Gabriel, I've been living in Brisbane for nearly a year now and am studying med at UQ. I am friendly and sociable, but I also respect other people’s boundaries. Having been in sharehouses for several years now, I know the drill on keeping communal areas clean and tidy and not being too obnoxious noise wise. I do play guitar and am a bit of a bedroom DJ, but any practice would be kept to daylight hours (or would be done through headphones if later at night). I am happy to provide references, and have been on two leases and been a registered flat mate in a third and can put these on any application I may need to complete.
Hi my name is Jacynta and I’ve just moved to Carindale from the northside of Brisbane. I’m currently staying with my brother until I find a place. I’m a hairdresser and work full time at Carindale Westfield. I’m clean and tidy. Happy to socialise as I don’t know anybody over this side. Not a party person. Please feel free to message me with any questions
Hi, I'm from the Sunshine Coast and am keen to find someone to live and potentially make friends with. I like spending the weekend going out to meet up with friends. I'm easy going and love a good laugh, but also appreciate some good quality downtime. I enjoy cooking/baking at home, but don't worry.. I clean up! I work full time in Brisbane Mon-Fri and tend to have a few hobbies that can keep me busy during the week. I have a car, but am flexible about parking. I don't have a particular date to relocate from my current location, however keen to move sooner rather than later.
