I don't have kids, just my nephew and I. I'm easy going and can hold conversation, enjoy the gym and getting outdoors. I also like to kick back and watch movies and documentaries as well. I have a few hobbies that keep me busy as well as catching up with friends. I currently work a fly in fly out roster and am studying to change careers. I keep my belongings in good order and like to live in a clean house. I do drink occasionally and am a smoker sometimes, never indoors though. I'm not too particular on who I live with so long as they're good people. I do need a secure area to park my motorbike and to house some things, a lock up garage would be ideal. My best contact is to message me as I am unable to be contacted by phone when I am away at work. I'm hoping to move in to somewhere early January, and would even be interested in teaming up with the right people to find a place as an option as well. Cheers
Hi guys, I am currently 24 years old turning 25 soon. I am working full time at the Queensland University of Technology but hoping to study full time next year/working part time if it all works out. I currently live in Nundah and my current lease runs out on the 31/01/2017 and needing to find a new place then. I am living with a few friends but needing a change. I am big into any health and fitness related - I love sports, I am easy going, really chilled and prefer my own space at times. I also consider myself a quite tidy person and like to live in a clean environment. I also don't mind having a few drinks from time to time. My parents are from Cambodia but I am New Zealand born residing in Brisbane coming up to two years in February.
A Happy Hippy chick from central NSW looking for an awesome home in Bris-vegas! Im a reliable, outgoing and positive peep who loves to bake on the weekends! (mostly muffins but hey im still baking!) I work as a tarot reader and will often chat about current astrological alignments when the time is right. Im also quiet and mindful of your personal space but am always there to chat if you need/want too :) Im moving to Brisbane to complete my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time or not around :P I am here now and happy to move in when needed! Im also tidy and respectful and am always smiling! Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? I live a healthy lifestyle (despite the baking and regular chocolare binges!) and enjoy social shinanigans with the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive. pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples or a shared room ... . I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room. if im interested i will get in contact. thanks!
Hello Everyone, I'm looking place to live. Very tidy, friendly & busy with my routines... First preference is two or three bedroom apartment or unit or a house to live. (Furnished or Unfurnished) Second can have two bedrooms in a same place to share with other housemates. (Furnished) In any of above cases, bills should be included as my maximum budget is not more than $170/week altogether. I do have my car so parking is a plus point for. In my free time, I normally watch Netflix and travel around.. Moving date before 25 December... Please contact with details & keep in mind above requirements before contacting us. Thank you so much.. :)
Hi there! My name is Ramez (or Mez for short) and I'm a recently graduated intern Doctor starting work in 2017. As a housemate, I am a responsible, clean and considerate person; I understand the value of common courtesy that every flatmate deserves! I enjoy trying to balance my love for food (mainly eating, but also cooking) with fitness through outdoor sports, activities and gym. Having said that, who doesn't love binge watching a season or three of TV shows?
Hi there! My name is Michael and I am a full time student nearing the completion of my Bachelor. I am looking to join an existing sharehouse around the Kelvin Grove area while I finish off my studies. I like socialising but am respectful of other people's privacy. I love to cook, garden (lots of fresh herbs for cooking!) and wouldn't mind sharing meals. I would like to join a clean, quiet and friendly household where everyone helps to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of common areas (because no one likes a messy housemate!) I would be looking at an unfurnished room so I can bring along my own furniture. I also have a lot of furniture for common areas such as leather couches, coffee tables, washer+dryer etc but I don't have to bring these along with me. Looking for a LGBT friendly household and preferably pet-friendly as I have a small black cat (but she doesn't have to come with me if pets aren't allowed). Shoot me a message if you think we would get along or if you need any more information :)!
I am a 22 year old single gal, studying to be a Naturopath and working in hospitality part time! Trying to sort my life out and move closer to my place of work and study = more sleep-in time and less transport $/road rage. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past 4 years, so I know how to co-exist in a respectful and stress-free manner. I am keen to make new friends, socialise and have fun with my new housemate's, but don't fret I also love my own company and will respect your space and quiet time as well! Contact me if this living sitch could float your boat!
**Looking for a Teamup** Hello future roomie!! I'm Bronte, 23 years old and I'm looking for my perfect match housemate. I've been living in all types of rentals for 3 years now and I'm looking to "settle down" as much as possible without having pay a mortgage or rely on a partner (I'm happily single for the moment thank you very much). Picture this: My ideal living situation is a lovely 2-bedroom apartment near a central hub on the Northside of Brisbane (maybe our local Friday night cocktail bar is just around the corner). We have a spacious living area and where we share meals, watch shitty tv shows occasionally and nice outdoor area where we can enjoy a wine or two. My ideal partner in crime: - She's young professional woman around the same age (25-30) - looking to find a home, not just a room and a friend, not just a roommate. - motivated by her career or maybe she's working towards her dreams. - social, maybe a few dinner parties, but she's not gonna throw a party without consulting her number #1 roomie. - likes cats as I will be getting one in the new year. So if this sounds like your perfect match, send me a message and tell me about yourself and lets get to know each other :)
Hi, this is Patrick! I'm a single 26 year old male looking to live with people around or just below my age group. I'm currently working 25 hours a week at Woolworths and am looking to increase that. I'm a fairly, quiet, clean guy who's a massive geek; I love books, movies, tv and video games. My cooking ranges from 'ok' to 'decent' but at least I've got a variety of dishes at my disposal!
I am tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. I go out on most weekends and chill with my mates sometimes have a drink. I usually stick to myself but don't mind a chat. During the week I have work from 6-2 and sometimes on the weekends so I'm busy most of the time.
Hi and welcome to my listing! My name’s Rebecca and I am looking for a private room somewhere in Brisbane’s inner city region or suburbs surrounding Saint Lucia starting in mid to late January (I am flexible with dates). Right now I am completing a Bachelor of Arts- Korean degree at the University of Queensland. I am extremely quiet but friendly and most importantly clean. I do have my own furniture, most notably a fridge, small couch and washing machine, so am looking for somewhere that will be okay with this. I have no allergies and am a lover of pets (especially dogs!) although I do not have any of my own. I do not own a car therefore public transport is essential for me. I would really love to live near a railway station as I often work very late nights. I work in Fortitude Valley. I go to university during the week and work late on the weekends therefore will most likely not be home often so if you’re looking for a laidback, considerate and low maintenance roomie who is reliable with rent, please please please consider me! I may be young but I can assure you that I am dependable and mature. Thank you so much for checking me out!
Prefer to share with a female but open if I find the right place. Im happy to help out where I can,Iam respectful, love a good laugh and am very easy to get on with.I'm looking for a furnished room, own bathroom a bonus
Looking for a place to call my home. I'm quiet, easy going and keep to myself, although I don't mind an occasional drink on the weekend. I like to listen to music, but I have headphones if its too loud. If you would like to live with me please let me know.
I am smooth going guy, focusing mainly on education. I would like to have a single room with attached bathroom. I pretty much spend most of the time in UNI. I don't smoke neither drink,, but can catch up for a glass of wine for a pleasureful week ends. I cook mostly Indian dishes and Italian. I am also kind of back packers who would like to explore around and roam around the places...
Hi I'm Haidee Leigh I'm a young working professional working at Griffith University. I am looking for my own private space with a secure car space close to work, or a shortwalk to the bus way. I'm very clean and respectful like my own space, so I respect your privacy too. I do love a laugh and a chat too, I love hiking and road trips on the weekends to enjoy my days off work.
I'm a QUT Business School student from India. Looking for a unit near CBD for 180pw including bills or 200 maxxxx. I don't smoke or drink but I am friendly and like to s t a y c l e a n. I love traveling and won't mind exploring the city or nearby destinations!! Respecting your privacy is my rule. My course is until December 2018, so I'd prefer somebody with at least 1 year stay. Drop me a message if interested! :) Thanks.
I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
Hi I'm alex from dallas Texas have a car, job and kitten and I plan to settle in Brisbane. Im clean and friendly and respectful. Open minded and happy
Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm an RN at the RBWH. So if you hurt yourself, I'm a great roomie 👌🏼 Looking to hopefully move at the end of February/start of march. Would like to stay in close proximity to the hospital and if there are some other Royal/Charlies nurses out there keen to get a place together that would be great! I'm a neat and tidy person who loves to cook and bake (brownies, cookies, you name it) and loves a good cheese platter and wine. (Usually I do it by myself, but with friends is better #singlelife) I know how to be quiet, but also don't mind having a chat and a laugh on the couch in my pj's eating pizza. If you haven't worked it out by now, I really enjoy food. Oh and I don't smoke. My prerequisites for a new place would that I get the garage/undercover car space and potentially my own bathroom if it is more than 2 bedrooms, but I'm not picky, as long as you're neat and tidy! If you're looking to move at this time, chuck me a message!
I'm a 24 year old Doctor moving up from Tassie to Brisbane for a year! I'm in Brisbane for this weekend Fri-Sun and keen to meet up I'm looking for a couple of housemates that go along with my easy-going lifestyle and I can come home to have a drink after work with. I am an active gym goer, can cook and I'm clean without being a neat freak. I'm keen to share things as a house or to have a weekend out travelling / out for some drinks. Very interested in Teaming Up and finding a modern apartment or house near to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, non smokers preferred. Feel free to send me a message
Hey my name Zac sparrow I'm 24 and a full time plasterer. Clean, easy-going, reliable 24 year old female who has a love for wellness and living a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy meeting new people and socialising as well as having time to myself. I am open-minded and fun!
Hey :) My names Vanessa, I'm 20 years old and currently working at woolworths. I am also a dancer and just finished my studies in the city. Dance is my passion and the arts really. I love going to the beach and listening to music, gym, traveling, reading books, eating food... I am a vegan and would love to live with people that don't mind✌🏼️🌿😋 I also love to go out with friends and have a couple of drinks. I'm easy going and always keen to hangout with my housemates, but I completely respect everyone's privacy and independence :) I'm happy to help clean up around the house and do my part. That's no problem at all. I'm keen to move out by January 23rd as that's when my lease ends for the house I currently live in. Would love somewhere near or in Camp Hill so it's close to work😊
Mid 20s, non smoker, quiet. Working full time but soon to be studying. I like quiet nights in. Cat lover. I will be away for the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb as I'm going overseas! I have a partner who would occasionally stay over.
I am a friendly person who can get along with anyone. I'm reasonably neat and tidy, I love all types of animals, and I'm quiet. I bake cakes and sweets when I can, and am happy to share! I generally keep to myself, but am happy to socialize with the house. I am quite artistic in many ways. I love to write, draw, and play/listen to music. I am accepting of all people from all kinds of creeds, cultures, religions etc so long as they are accepting of me. :)
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move early January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
Hey, myself (Derek) and my friend (Kelsey) are looking for two separate, private, furnished rooms - in an apartment or share house is great! We happen to both be Canadian, and can teach you lots about hockey, syrup, and snow! For fun: Derek - Dragon boat racing, gym, board & video games (i.e. catan & more!) Kelsey - Jogging, hiking, arts & crafts. I'd say we are about an 8.5/10 on the clean scale - you can always expect us to help clean and have our shit together, but nobody is perfect! We can both be convinced to have drinks pretty much whenever. I work full time for a startup company I founded called Suncayr, and Kelsey is looking for a career in teaching / working with kids. Move in date is flexible. A/C is a must. If there's a 2 bedroom apartment to take over that's awesome, otherwise we'd prefer to live with people <30 years old so there's a good culture fit! Students are great too!
I'm relatively friendly and easy to get along with. Clean up after myself and like to keep things tidy. Happy to do my share of the house work. Quite busy with work and various avenues of study, although happy to be social as well.
I'm quiet, respectable, single, outgoing, I was bourn in Sydney and of Fijian decent, brought up the treditional island way, I have a big heart and always help others, I am told I'm too kind. I am clean, I'm a Diesel Technition and quals that range from the auto industry to Business/ Accounting. Great with kids, don't have any of my own tho. I do smile from time to time lol. Good with my hands and can fix just about anything, love challenges. Great listener and keen for a chat. Love music and a bit of a Dj too. You can contact me looking forward to what comes next :)
I'm Bre, I am currently working full-time as a hairdressing apprentice. I am fun and social, but I also enjoy some time to myself. I am responsible and mindful of others and I am clean and tidy. I have not long moved to Brisbane and I am looking for somewhere I can not only live but enjoy.
Hi there my name is Bettina but everyone calls me Betty. I'm a Full time professional that works in the CBD. Very social person so if I'm not at home I'm out with friends. Looking for a place close to the city so it's easy to travel to work. I am looking for preferably someone who doesn't have a car as I would need the car space or even look at a place that has off street parking. Im clean and tidy and like to keep things organised. Im looking to flat with someone who is out going and doesn't mind having a few drinks and relaxing either during the week or on the weekends. :)
I like to live in a nice, considerate environment. Like to have fun, but am very respectful. Clean, tidy, bubbly person. Very friendly, but can keep to myself if you prefer. I'm looking for a place where I can have my own bathroom or ensuite and built-in wardrobe. On-site pool is a bonus.

I'm a communications professional currently working in the city, looking for a self-contained place for myself and my mature and very timid cat, so a pet friendly granny flat or studio with a sunny windowsill would be perfect. I'm currently in the process of selling my 3 bedroom house in Sunnybank Hills, and hoping to rent for a year or two while I focus on career. The house is expected to sell very quickly, however I will keep any prospective landlord in the loop. I have lived happily on my own for the last several years, and rarely have friends over, preferring instead to go out, as I do love my privacy. Having said that, I highly value good neighbours. I adore gardening, and will find this the biggest challenge as I downsize (happy to help out with yours or point me towards a community garden). I have been a landlord on flatmates.com and been contacted by many people with no profile details, references, or comprehensive explanation of what they are looking for or why my property suits them - so I invite you to ask me as much as you need to know to ensure we are going to be a good fit. My cat comes with vet reports (medical and behavioural) and I can organise references from pet sitters and catteries. As I have been a homeowner for the last 10 years please let me know what kind of references you expect from me.
Hi I will be looking for somewhere to move in to in early January. Could possibly move a few weeks before hand if needed. Looking for a house share max 3 bedrooms, so everyone can be social but it doesnt feel too crowded. Ive lived in Brisbane for 5 years, working full time. Recently sold most of my furniture so have my bedroom furniture to bring plus washing machine and fridge to bring with me. Last 2 are negotiable. I use my mobile so im not fussed on landline or additional internet provision. Cheers Lauren
At this time I have found a place. I am just sorting out details. I'm a quiet person who likes puzzles, reading and studying. I'm a huge pop culture nerd. I am a person who loves to hang out with friends and I make friends quickly so feel free to hang out with me or if you are a person who likes company (parties or chill outs) I'm cool. I'm a full time student and a part-time nanny.
Neat and tidy individual, very easy going, affable. I like to do severe work, have a chat and also keep to myself - a social all rounder. I always buy cheese, olives, prosciutto, sourdough bread, etc. so if you like antipasto type food, we'll definitely be friends. Have my own furniture if needed, otherwise, I don't mind if the place is furnished. Cheers
I am a 22 yr old female currently working full time and studying law/business at UQ. I love dogs. In any spare time I have, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking/baking and catching up with friends. I like having a clean kitchen, and I tidy up after myself in common areas. I am a somewhat quiet roommate but I enjoy having a chat or dinner with others in the house. I would be comfortable living with anyone. My current lease ends 12 January, and I am looking to secure a new place before then for at least 6 months. Would prefer an unfurnished room in a furnished house, as I have my own bed and desk, but I am flexible. Built in wardrobe is a must.
Hello! My name is Alex. I am a young professional from Edinburgh, Scotland. I am an outgoing person who enjoys sport, travelling and cooking. I am looking for a long-term flatshare or houseshare arrangement within travelling distance of the CBD and my office in Milton.
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
Hi, I'm Kat. I'm 30 and own a stretch limousine company and 2 start up businesses. I work from home mostly but may look at getting an office soon in the city. I'm looking for a place for 6 months possibly longer to home me and my two very small Chihuahua's who stay with me part time. They are very tiny, very friendly and very clean. They don't bark and have their own beds and cage area they live in when I'm not at home. I'm not a party girl as my focus is my work currently but I don't mind being social and active on weekends and getting out of the house with the dogs. If you are a pet lover and have space for us let me know! Happy to work on a trial basis. :)
Hey, I'm looking for a queer-friendly house. I'll be studying at QUT Kelvin Grove next year, so I need somewhere with easy access to public transport. I'm clean, respectful and down to earth. I like hanging out with housemates but also like having personal space and time to myself. I'm an Irish transguy who has been in Australia for 6 years and currently work as a disability support worker. In my downtime I like to draw, play music, cook, go to markets, do yoga and go to the beach. I would love to live somewhere with a veggie patch (although I haven't had much luck with not killing anything I've tried to grow in the past). I want somewhere long term that can be a home, instead of just renting a room. If I sound like I would be a good fit for your home, please get in touch :) Thanks, Cian
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, going home to visit family and photographing. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Would love to find a home with some relaxed, friendly, good-humoured housemates. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
I'm 20 years old and looking for a fun and down to earth housemate who is clean. After living in share houses since 18 years old, and trying to live with cousins, friends and the rest, I've found it increasingly hard to find someone that picks up after themselves. All I ask is that you enjoy a ciggie or beer on the balcony with me, and that you clean up your dishes and space :-) I always have a record spinning at home, love film and a good drink. I often enjoy going out with mates, or chilling out alone in my room. I'm looking to move into a house that has enough space for us, and a small backyard to hang out in. If you feel like we could get along as housemates send me a message as I'm all out of luck :-) Sophia
Hi there, I am looking to rent a place to call home with one other clean and tidy person. I have two cute indoor kittens so you would have to be okay with curious little faces everywhere :) I work full time. Happy to live with students or workers. My party days are over but super happy to socialise with guests. I am not in rush as I want to find the right people/place but would like to move before Christmas. Budget can be flexible.. Would love to hear from you :)
