My main residence is in Malvern East, Victoria, but I’m wanting to eventually move to Townsville. I’ll be visiting a lot so I’d like to rent a nice room/granny flat so I can easily visit Townsville . I’d like to be close to the hospital or Kirwan, but neither is essential. I’m super reliable, polite, sociable and very clean. If it’s a shared situation, I’m a good cook, I always do more than my share of house work. I always pay my rent on time. Basically I’m the dream housemate, I hand you money, and I’m not there a lot of the time. I do prefer sociable people, I’m very open and like to meet and hear different viewpoints.
I am 23 & work fulltime in realestate, i am clean, quiet and do my own thing. I like to live a healthy lifestyle & keep fit. On weekends i hang out with my friends or go to the gym. I prefer a room that includes electricity & internet but not essential depending on the weekly rent.
I'm looking for a place or someone to team up with to find one. I'm a nursing student at JCU and work part-time. In my spare time I'm either at the gym or binging on netflix. I am clean and tidy and will respect your privacy but I am also happy to socialise. I'd prefer to team up with someone/people and find an apartment or something along those lines
I'm an responsible 18yr old and I'm not a party animal, I'm currently looking for full-time work in the hospitality industry, I'm shy at first but once I get to know you properly I'm pretty outgoing. I've been on and off the streets for the past 2yrs but I'm trying to just stay in one town so I can get the help I need with my mental health.
Hi, I’m Dave. I work full time in banking/finance. Spend 1 in every three weeks away at the moment. And mostly every second weekend I will be travelling also. Looking for a simple arrangement. I’m new to townwville so won’t have people around as such and love a fairly busy lifestyle, so I won’t be in your way.
Hi, I am a Dutchy, and will come to Townsville to do my internship at the AIMS. I like hiking, climbing, surfing, swimming and chilling (who does not?). I look forward exploring the beautiful nature and the open minded culture of Australia. Hoping to find a cosy house with multiple students or same-aged, with whom I can share my good times in Australia. If possible I would like to share a regular dinner or breakfast and go on a regular adventure with my future flatmates!
I am a quiet, easy going, respectful person. I love 4 driving and photography. I do not drink or smoke and am not a partier. I am a uni student with casual work so am not returning home over the break. I have accomodation available late December/early January so am just looking for a short stay.
Hi! I am a clean and busy person. I work full time in administration and have bootcamp commitments 4-5 days a week after work so I’m usually in an out :) (but I dont mind having a wine at the end of the day while bingeing netflix) I am responsible and my bills are always paid on time, i currently live on my own but have decided its time for company! I am not seeking a place until mid-end of January 2019 due to already being a current lease Looking to live with one or 2 people max, location isn't an issue to me however closer to Woolcock street is preferred.
A little about my self - I am 55, mother of 4 children (aged from 32 to 27); grandmother to 5; I like sewing, knitting, reading, the outdoors, walking, photographing, yoga; I am a kindy teacher; I am caring, easy going, open minded, cope with most situations.
Hi, we're Kallem and Katie. We're a young couple seeking flatmates interested in starting a share house for next year. We are both uni students so are pretty quiet and keep to ourselves for the most part however we are down for a chat here and there. Looking to rent a 3-4 bedroom house with one or two other people. We have both lived in share houses before so know how it all works. Prefer housemates of a similar age who are working or studying like us. We have pets, two ducks named Cheese and Quackers, and a small outside dog named Trevor. All are extremely friendly and love new people. We are looking for a house with a large yard to accommodate our fur and feather babies. We also have a fair amount of furniture - 3 double beds, a fridge, washing machine and some old couches so if furniture is an issue for you we can sort something out. If you're interested in teaming up to find a house or have something available to suit our needs, please message us ASAP :)
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Belgian Gardens. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
I’m a 25 year old full time shift worker. Im looking for an unfurnished room but would also be interested in teaming up at a new place. I’m a package deal that comes with two dogs, a Labrador and a mini dachshund. I’m looking for a place close to the CBD/North Ward. It would be awesome to share with someone who also does shift work or who is understanding of it. I love socialising and am always up for a drink however also enjoy time to myself!
Hi there! I recently quit my full-time HR job to go traveling and am now moving up to Townsville to pursue the Marine Science dream at JCU in 2019. I will be studying full time, working part-time and like to keep myself busy with diving, gym, photography etc. I'm fairly social but also like my own space. I'm looking to live with some people that I might eventually call friends. Love animals! Bringing a car too.
Hey, my names Angie. I'm an English, I moved to Townsville for work in the youth sector and looking at somewhere to stay. I do work shift work so some nights I wouldn't be there due to sleep over shifts. I'd say I'm quite an easy going lass and can generally get on well with everyone. I don't mind a night out, a few friends over for a bottle of wine or just a night in reading a book. Interests: fitness, rock music, gaming, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, adventures, hikes, castle hill etc Looking at finding a nice, modern place with a good view from the balcony and a pool.
Hey I'm Kylie, I'm a student from Brisbane taking a 6 month leave of absence to work in Townsville. I'm really excited for a change of scenery and the possibility to make some friends in a new city. I love music and animals and I sincerely hope the Townsville heat doesn't kill me.
Hey I'm Carl, a 22 year old male currently working full time in Townsville city. I'm easy-going, don't drink or smoke and am very tidy and respectful of other peoples' space. I spend most of my time working, exercising or relaxing in my room. Not against some good old socializing :) I'm looking for a room with an ensuite or own bathroom in or close to Townsville city, preferably with 1-2 other people, who also do not smoke or have pets. If you have something for me please contact me and ask any questions you need to know! Thanks :)
