I will be arriving to Melbourne by the end of January, to pursue Bachelor of Audio in SAE institute. This will be my first time visit to Australia and hoping to meet great people to show me around the city. I'm an easy going person , very open and friendly and quite adaptable to new environment and living situation since I travel a lot alone or with my band especially back in India.Music is my jam and what I aim to pursuit to a professional manner. I'm an outgoing person as well, and at the same-time quite the geek and gamer.
Hi, I'm Alexandra. I'm looking for a flatmate around my age. I am a single Mum, my children live in Queensland. I have a rescue cat "Humphrey" who is no trouble & sleeps on my bed most of the time. Totally house trained!!! I’m not a over the top party person but enjoy a quiet life, although like to have some interaction with my flatmate. I am polite, respectful & clean & tidy. I work part-time with some long hours as a Disability Support Worker. My work can be full on so I usually just want to chill if I have had a day like that.
Hi! I'm a student, from Tasmania, interested in art, music, science, travelling and sports. I am tidy and friendly and I enjoy hanging out with friends.
I am an apprentice chef, have four mice and two small fish tanks and love a beer over a movie. I am outgoing but very respectful of boundries, looking for likeminded people to live with Look foward to hearing from you
I am a IT student. I am a clean, friendly, easy going person. I love playing games and watching movies and tv shows a lot and i enjoy gardening too. Looking to share a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom house/apartment. Feel free to message me and ask me for information.
Hi there! I am Teal. 25 - Professional working in the city full time between 9:00 - 5:00 Monday through Friday. My lease is about to end at the start of Feb, so I am looking for a new place to move to ASAP! Preferably somewhere close to transport. I am super sociable, but also enjoy my own quiet from time to time. Always keen for a chat over a beer! Pretty into PC gaming too! Looking to live with like minded people. Ideally looking for someone to live with that is respectful, financially stable and is easy to get along with!
Hi! My name is Krystelle, I am a 30yo female relocating to VIC from a little coastal town in NSW. I'm a very sociable person, but I am not into the whole partying lifestyle. I hold a great respect of those around me, and I know how to clean up after myself. I am honest and trustworthy, and understand boundaries. I have a lovely female cat named Tigerlily that I am looking to home with me. She is well behaved, and very affectionate. If I'm starting to sound like the kind of person you're looking for in a housemate, send me a message and we can share a bit more about ourselves. Thank You! Krystelle
Very social guy, neat and tidy, happy to hang out but also to keep up some personal space, currently studying my undergrad in nursing and working in hospitality. I'm looking for a place to live preferably near public transport and hopefully with a room large enough to fit a desk, and also queer friendly, more than happy to pull my weight around the house and also to lend a helping hand when possible!
First things first: I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from my second cancer removal surgery, scheduled sometime between Feb-April 2018. I keep to myself, friendly and quiet. I clean up after myself and can cook. I work full time, been at my place of work for over 7 years. 40 years old, recently divorced. I host my own radio show on community radio, Apple 98.5 FM, located in Bacchus Marsh. Back in February 2017 I had major surgery to remove cancer from my body, with a temporary stoma put in while my rectal area repairs itself. In May I began aggressive chemo treatment for the second time, which completed in late September. On Jan 23 2018, it was discovered that cancer has unfortunately returned to my body. Tests will commence ASAP with surgery and more chemo to most likely follow. The person(s) accepting me into their home (if that is the case) will need to be aware of my health issues and be understanding and ok with it. I am also a high functioning autistic, better known as Asperger's. Doesn't really mean anything, doesn't affect anything in any way, just best that I mention it. I'm currently living at both my father's house in the eastern suburbs, and a share house in Darley (Bacchus Marsh). A transition period, where my father wants me closer to him while I go through the things I'm going through at the moment. However eventually I need to make a decision on where exactly I want to be living. I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from my 2018 surgery, which will be anywhere from Feb-April.
I am an IT professional working Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and looking for a new house to have my quiet evenings. I like to chat and get to know my housemate(s) but also respect personal space and like to keep the house and kitchen clean but not a clean freak.
My name is Gavin. I am currently in Bali. I have been an English teacher there for the past five years. I intend to come back to Melbourne for a bit of a sabbatical and reconnect with friends and family. However, it would probably be around middle to late Feb so I'm not sure of the exact date. I am looking to stay anywhere in the eastern suburbs from Camberwell up to Forest Hill. Regards, Gavin
My name is Bradley, I finished my Bachelor of Arts in New Zealand last year. I am moving to Melbourne in February and excited to start my new life there. I have worked full time since finishing my degree as well as working on personal pursuits such as writing and photography. I love exercise and music as well. I am clean and respectful. I am social and good with people but also value my privacy and alone time. I get along well with mostly everyone and I'm very excited to explore a new city.
My name is Nikki. I will be finishing my Master of Arts degree from Deakin University on February. At the moment, I work for Bendigo Bank in Camberwell so I will mostly be away on weekdays. Me as a housemate: I enjoy some alone time so you can find me on a Sunday stuck in my room the whole day watching Netflix and snacking on some grapes or whatever. Every now and then I like to socialize so I don't mind spending some time with housemates should they invite me to dinner and whatnot. I am very easy to get along with (or so I've been told lol). I am a tidy person so you wouldn't have to worry about me leaving a big mess around. I am obsessed with dogs so if you have one or two living in the house it's no problem! I like cats too so if you have some of those it should be fine. My length of stay would from 6 months to 1 year. I may have to keep renewing my lease if I really love the place! House preferences: I am looking for a place where I have my own bedroom and own bathroom. Personal interests: I usually spend my time watching a lot of TV shows. I like to cook different types of dishes and I don't mind sharing my food. I like makeup and clothes. Once I finish my thesis, I promised myself that I would go back to the gym. Personally, I hate working out but I understand the importance of health. I like learning new things. I follow popular world politics and I try to know as much as I can about science. I love the beach and the tropical weather. The cold does bother me.
I recently moved to Melbourne as permanent resident and looking for a place to stay. A little about me; love movies and music, spend most of my leisure time watching movies or some TV series, love playing sports (into squash and running these days), podcasts addict and try to read interesting fiction (sometimes)!
I am currently studying wildlife and conservation biology at Deakin, and I also have casual work. I am looking to share a house with two or three other people in a clean, neat house with a relaxed environment. I have a pet snake, I keep her enclosure in my room and she is quite small so nothing to be scared of! If it makes you uncomfortable I will make sure not to bring her out while you are around.
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
I'm a 25 y/o Canadian guy studying medicine at Monash and splitting time between Dandenong hospital and Monash Clayton. Looking for a place around the area, preferably near the train line for easy access to the city on weekends. First time living in the city, so open to suggestions on location. I’ve been living in share houses and out of home for the last 7 years and am a reliable, easygoing, and fun housemate! Not a neat freak and don't need a perfect house at all times, but I pull my weight and clean up after myself. I cook for myself most nights of the week and happy to share meals. Have worked in the past as a builder briefly, and can help with normal maintenance around the house. I'm a big fan of the outdoors, playing and watching sports, and of course, doggos. Usually pretty busy during the week, but down to kick back with housemates and then have a few beers and watch some footy on the weekends!
Hey all :) My name is Nathan and I work in Real Estate for Ray White. I am looking to move out with some positive people around Melbourne. I love meeting new people. Going out for drinks. Adventures. Attempting to cook. Love my job. Always working. If you would like to catch up for coffee, please don't hesitate to message me! Cheers, Nath
Hi I'm Kylie, recent grad from Monash and about to start full time work in Feb. Looking for a room asap. I like dogs, cooking, travelling, brunch etc. Have lived on res at uni and in a share house before so pretty used to living with other people :) Looking for somewhere nice and clean (!) to live with some friendly and respectful faces. Ideally looking for my own bathroom but that's not a dealbreaker, I have all my own bedroom stuff so an unfurnished room would be great and I also have a car.
Clean and tidy mature aged student who enjoys cooking so will gladly prepare meals. Very social and I have been known to talk the hind legs off a donkey over a drink, however I enjoy down time. I will provide the perfect balance between social and respectful housemate, happy to share a meal or drink but will also leave you to your own devices. I also bring an incredibly friendly and cuddly whippet to the equation, Snippet the Whippet will gladly provide cuddles and entertainment before retiring each night with mum.
