I have recently been asked to work in Melbourne starting in 2 weeks so here i am trying to secure a home in Melbourne promptly. Once again I set deadlines for myself that are tight and i may have told my new boss that I can change departments on the 2/10. I calculated the maths in my head, the same mind that told me to start on the 2/10 and came to the conclusion that once again I may have overestimated my abilities. I have decided I need to utilise some of the skills I have written I possess in my resume to get me through this predicament I have put myself in. Using effective communication, creative thinking and taking initiative to get the desired result i hope to secure a property before the deadline. When all else fails I will employ desparation. A characteristic not mentioned in my resume, however it is attribute that is evident in interviews. If someone could offer me a room that would be great as I have a lot of clothes to pack and some hard decisions ahead of me In relation to culling some of these once loved items. I am a full time working, aspiring to something different every month 26 year old gal. I am like most of the descriptions on here, neat, friendly and looking for those qualities in prospective housemates. For fun? friends, eating, sleeping, dancing, eating, movies, music, eating, becoming obsessed with a musical instrument for a week, googling how long it takes to become a master at said instrument and giving up before i even begin. So you know, the usual stuff. My main selling point would be that i come with Frankie the Border Collie cross Lab puppy, she turned 1 a few months ago and is keen... I would love to write that she speaks 4 languages, packs the dishwasher and makes tea for you in the morning however she isn't quite there yet... She's used to living inside and cuddling to any willing participant. I am obsessed with her, she is obsessed with anyone who will give her attention. ** of note the speediness of me having to move to Melbourne i understand i may not find a house that can accommodate my pup and i. So she has alternative accommodation (with my mother who she loves more than i) if i find myself in a position where she can't move. DISCLAIMER: you can't tell from the photo however I do have a below knee amputation, why? Cancer. Why are you still on crutches? Still have cancer (although it is stable). Why are you writing this? To avoid awkward meetings. Any questions, i would be happy to answer.
Hi Everyone, I'm looking to move into a room in the above mentioned locations. I am a Marketing Manager working full time. I am clean, tidy, and respect other people's privacy. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine with the housemates :) Looking for a warm, quite house to come back to after long working days. Please send me a message if you need someone to move in. Thanks, Ali :)
I am a very easy going individual, not ever worried about too much. I work full time and also have a couple of other side projects that I'm involved with. I train most of nights of the week, eat only as much as I need to, read, play guitar here and there and most importantly, regularly laugh at my own jokes. My partying days are mostly at an end. In saying that when the time calls for it I can definitely have a drink if need be.
Respectful, friendly, non-smoker, hardly drink, work full-time and tidy around the house. I enjoy living in a clean home but occasionally have my relaxed days. I don't usually have friends over as I prefer socialising outside and keeping home as a place to relax and escape from all the noise and social demands. I have a king size bed and hope to find a big enough space for it and also someone who is similar so that we can co-exist in a happy and peaceful environment. If you'd like to know more, just send me a message.. 😄
I am a 25 year old freshly graduated Primary Teaching moving back to Melbourne after living in Sydney for the last 3 years. I will (more than likely) be casual relief teaching or if I'm super lucky, have a full time job. I am looking at moving in January but have no set date at the moment of when I will be officially moving down. I like live music and comedy but also enjoy binge watching tv and movies at home. I am a clean, quiet and friendly person looking for a share house with other like minded people in the south eastern suburbs.
I'm 21, work full time in a warehouse in oakleigh currently living in south Morang, grew up in the mount waverley area and currently play cricket and football in the area, I'm a pretty quiet person but always up for a chat when I'm around
I'm a local from Victoria and I study philosophy and literature at Deakin university. But the best reason to live with me is because I don't make a sound and I always clean up after myself, and I like cooking meals for other housemates too.
Hi there! I'm looking for a place to live independently or with up to two other people, preferably women of similar age/maturity and non-smokers. Prefer rent to be inclusive of utilities and internet. Prefer en suite bathroom ideally but I can be flexible with that. I am honest, reliable and will pay rent on time. I work full time, 9 to 5, sometimes work from home. I am social but enjoy alone time too. I am respectful of others. I enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, markets, cafes. Would like to live close to park-lands, bike tracks etc. Any questions, please ask. Happy to have a chat! Cheers, Andrea.
Workaholic scientist recently returned from New York to take up a position at Monash. I'm pretty quiet and easy to live with and will often work late or on the weekend. I enjoy kicking back with a bottle of wine or some beers and a movie on the weekend, hanging out with friends and family, playing boardgames and enjoying the outdoors.
Hi there. I'm Jonathan, 23 years old. I was born in Australia, and grew up in Indonesia. I'm working part time as a waiter while doing my study. I'm easy going, adaptable, quiet and friendly. I really like to talk with people and enjoy a good session of tabletop games. Most of the time I will be out in city for study/work. I can cook, but mostly pasta/simple dishes. Regarding pets, I don't have one, but I don't mind living with them at all!
Hey! My name's Faye and I work in the travel industry as an Adventure Consultant. Originally from the UK, I moved to Melbourne in 2011 and since then I have gained experience living in a variety of shared accommodations and now I'm looking for my new home. What I'm looking for: I'm looking to share a peaceful and welcome environment with like-minded people who are laid-back, respectful and great communicators. Low consumers are ideal if bills are to be shared and I'd like to feel welcome to invite a friend or two over every now and again. I'd also like to share with other full-time workers who aren't home all the time either. All in all, I'm looking for a "home". Having left all my family behind in England, a comfortable, chilled environment is very important to me. I look forward to meeting you!
Hi there, My name is Nana. I'm from China, have been studying and working in Melbourne for 2 years. I'm currently at the last trimester of my master degree for accounting, will graduate in late October this year. I work as a part time accountant and got another part time job in the city as well. I will stay in Melbourne after graduation. I'm looking for a place that close to the train station so I have easy access to city and Deakin Burwood campus (only required before late October ). A room in a all female two bedrooms flat will be ideal, but open for other options. Prefer a furnished room, but if the room is unfurnished is OK too. My moving date is flexible. I'm easy going, friendly, generally pretty quiet but also enjoy being social. I like Yoga, swimming, running and enjoy cooking. I’m used to share houses, lived in current place for 2ys and my flatmate and I became very good friends, so I have good understanding of different culture, I'm respectful and responsible. I'm a non-smoker, like to keep the place tidy and clean. Looking after the property, treat it not just as a room but also nice and cosy like home. That's pretty much all I can think of for now. If you have a room or whole property available, please feel free to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you. Warm regards, Nana
Hi there, I'm a full-time software professional working for an IT company. I usually work from home but also have to travel often for work. I am about to finish my project in Queensland and will return to Melbourne (my home base) on the 14th of October. I'm a quiet, clean and friendly person. I am also very easy to get along. I play soccer and badminton and am quite into sports. I can also provide you references of previous landlords just in case if you want to know more about me. Happy to sign a bond and looking for a long term stay. Is it possible for you to let me know whether the room can be available for me by the 14th of October? I can also arrange my family friends to conduct an inspection on my behalf if you would prefer that. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Cheers Vineet
