Allo everyone, I'm Niko! Journalist and Part-Time Worker Currently undertaking an International Politics Honours degree at Monash, looking for a bayside base when not at uni or the office :) A charming conversationalist, I get along well with almost anyone, I seem to get along better with the more mature working type of housemate. It's good to be around professionals, because it reminds me that academia is ultimately a fruitless ploy. Proven property lease track record with real estate agent references. You're more likely to find me on the footy oval than on the couch. If I am on the couch, at least I could show you some extremely humorous published pieces :) Niko x
I have been working since the age of 15, very kind hearted person with a lot of wacky jokes and a weird personality that everyone seems to love. Great with kids and adore all animals big or small, I like company but sometimes will just spend time in my own area, But by all means knock on the door say hello, Always willing to have a chat about any subject there is. Modest and love being around people.
A bit about me; I'm nineteen almost twenty years old, born and raised in Australia, I'm a relax and well minded person with a good heart, easy going, love a good conversation and a bit of banter back and forth. I do enjoy having some me time every now and then, always good to spend time with yourself and recoup. I work full time at a aged care / retirement village in Burwood. My hours for work is all over the place, some days 3-11pm some 11pm-7am, I'm respectful of the noise factor. We might miss each other most days but I'd love to catch up every now and then. I'm a tidy person and enjoy too cook. Apart from work I like too watch tv, catch up on sleep, go for walks, spend time with friends and family. I'm currently living in Altona, been here for almost 12 years. Feel free to ask me anything! Sunny

Easy to get along with but also work 40+ hours a week so out of your hair. I enjoy gaming and cars, and am happy to provide lifts from time to time. A bit introverted but more than happy to hang out and make friends! I am clean and will help out with household chores and cleaning and cooking :)

My name is Omar, I am an IT PhD candidate at Monash, FIT -Coalfield. I am interested in renting a privet room. I am easy going, clean, tidy person and i highly value the privacy of others. I don't smoke and I am willing to adhere to any rules of living with others. I also enjoy cooking, listen to music and go for walking. Let me know if you interested in having me. You can contact me for any more information about me.
Hi I'm Paul, I'm a 31 year old professional musician and teacher. I teach a few days a week and perform on the weekends for a living. I'm considering renting a studio space in either Brunswick or Bayswater for practise and teaching, so if I had that space I wouldn't be practising at home and being noisey. Alternatively, I'd be looking in particular for a share house where I could do some saxophone practise during the day. Generally between 9-5 business days, and maybe on occasion a hour or two on the weekends. If that suits you that'd be great! I'm a very laid back person, not really a party animal, and tend to stay home a fair bit. I also enjoy cycling, seeing live music, and catching up with friends. Totes up for a beer and hang in the evenings. Love pets, but don't have any myself, if you have a pet, consider me the fun uncle to that pet...or is that weird...
Hello, I am single male, 24, Indian. Recent graduate of Master in Engineering, Quite, loves my privacy and respect other's too. Clean and tidy, and love to cook and organise things on weekends. Thanks Kanwar
I’m a 22 years old Dutch girl who is going to do an internship at Melbourne from 20 March for 4 months. Currently I live also in a shared house in the Netherlands, so I’m used to live with roommates. I love to run, cook, netflix, beer, movies, traveling, wine, kangaroos, good food. I'm positive, clean and easy going. Hopefully you want to live with me.
Neat & easy-going flatmate from HK to Melbourne for study. Im independent but at the same time love being with people. Welcome to know people from different countries and share the great time together.
Hi All, You can call me Shzad or Shiraz, whatever is easier for you. I'm pretty calm and quiet, respectful of others rights and privacy and usually keep to myself. Can be helpful when asked. I'm quite particular about cleanliness specially in common areas, trying my best to keep the bathroom and kitchen tidy, dry and pest free. I prefer and have also noticed, that its best starting off with a short term stay and extending if things work out well. But that is obviously negotiable. When I leave, I try my best to leave the room as I found it. I do a good job cleaning up. I'm a qualified metal fabricator and I work for a company in Dandenong that deals in the restoration and refurbishment of antique car parts and metal artifacts. For a hobby, I research and reproduce historic and medieval armor. I'm a non-smoker, non-religious, drug free, I do drink occasionally. I dont have any pets of my own, but I get along fine with animals.
Hi my name Is Andres. I just started work at a cafe in monash uni, I'm 32 and am looking to be close to work. Love music, reading and playing games or going to restaurants on my days off. I clean up after myself am social but do like my own space
I am a 25 year old New Zealander living in Melbourne working at Monash University. I am a biologist with an interest in mosquitoes! I thrive on outdoor adventures (rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, yoga). Meeting new people is something I really enjoy doing and have been described as very easy going, caring and courteous by my friends. I am courteous and respectful of people's space and time. I strongly believe in creating a positive atmosphere in which people are free to express themselves in doing so we can learn and share from one another. Living In communal settings I know the importance of having a clean and tidy environment, of which I endeavor to uphold. I can also make a legendary butter chicken dish! :)
Hello! I'll be joining Monash University (Clayton) for doctoral studies in March this year and I'm looking for an accommodation that offers a private room which comes furnished. I am neat, responsible and an easy going person. I am fairly social and I love meeting new people but I also like my space and private time. PM if you have anything for me :)
Hey everyone, I am looking for a house to call a home. I am a very active bubbly person who is tidy clean and respectful. I enjoy music, movies, cooking, keeping fit, sports and oddly cleaning, won't lie love a nice clean house. I work full time in sport administration which I love. I am looking for a place with like minded people that I can enjoy living and even have a few drinks and dinner with if we are all home. If you would like to know anymore about me hit me up :) I have some furniture (bedroom, sofa bed, fridge and outdoor setting) so would need unfurnished rooms only
I’m very creative and love my music. Other interests are gardening, I like to have a small vege & herb garden. I use the produce in my cooking. I've been told I'm a good cook. I enjoy catching up with friends, going to see live music, reading, going to the beach with my dog, yoga. Hi prospective housemates. I am looking to share a house with one person. I have everything needed to set up a share house. If you are contacting me re an existing share house, please note I will need a proper garage to store any of my belongings that won't fit in the house. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! 😺
Hey I'm Steph :) I'm 22 and i am a hospital worker who loves gym and food, i eat very healthy raw fresh produce as I have intolerances so I'll prob take up half the fridge with veggies and fruit, but I will cook grouse dinners for you as well. I run on semi-routine and wake up early and get to bed relatively early during the week, kind of wing it most of the time and hope for the best. In saying that I can be a total grandma or party animal, there's no in between. I love being outside and adventuring, going out for food and drinks with my mates, shopping (what female doesn't) pretty laid back and open minded. wanting an unfurnished room or people to move out with around my age (22) so 18-30 female male doesn't really bother me as long as you're not a creep :)
My name is Shauni, I am 20 years old and currently looking to move into a place now close to templestowe with a few nice people around the same age. I work as a florist and i love my job. I like working hard, but I also like to have a good time. I like a drink occasionally on the weekends, so hopefully I can find a home that doesn't mind a drink or two and some company. I'm a dog person, Im clean, I have a massive sweet tooth and I love my food. I enjoy reading, I was veryvery sporty growing up and now I still like the idea of exercise but often find excuses not to do it (but I feel like it's the thought that counts). I do smoke, but if it's an issue I can just keep it away from the home. Im open to a couple weeks trial period. I'd love to hear from you if you have a room :) Thank you for your time :)
Hey! My name is Jess and I'm a 21 year old muso who is looking for a place to call home, not just a place to live! I'm a 3rd year music student studying at the Victorian College of the Arts so obviously music is a huge part of my life. I play violin, guitar, piano and I sing a little bit too so if you're interested in impromptu jam sessions I would be more than ok with that! If not, thats cool too! However, I will need to live with people who at least appreciate music to some degree! I work two jobs where I teach violin to primary school students and work at a nursing home. Now for the selling myself part - I would say that I'm pretty easy to live with; I'm easygoing, considerate of other people, neat and tidy and not too in your face. I'd say I'm reasonably organised, so you won't have to worry about be paying rent/bills on time. In my spare time, I like to read, do all things arty, attempt poi, listen to/play/write music, see live music, go to festivals and spend time with my dearest friends. Ideally, I would like to live with easygoing, good natured, somewhat creative people who are around the same age as me (around 20 - 25) who are down for socialising and hanging out but can also respect my need for alone time as well. I love animals so if you are a pet friendly household I'd have no problem with that at all.
We are couple from Hong Kong and Taiwan, both of us are students now. We have been in Australia for at least 3 years. After finishing our 2-year Working Holiday visa, we decided to stay here to learn English and more about Australia. We are both easy-going and love to make new friends. We also love sports, camping and cooking.
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Hi All, I am a 28 year old professional with a chow chow named Spencer. I get along with anyone. I appreciate the need for privacy. Keep myself active and I look forward to meeting you. Spencer & Cam 🐶
Hey guys, I'm 25 years old, Indonesian - Chinese and my name is Ivan Rachman. I like playing pc games, hanging out with friends and having a good time. I don't drink when I'm at home out of respect of who I am living with. I'm a clean, reliable and very respectable person. I'm coming from Darwin to Melbourne as I'm moving away from my professional career at NewsCorp as a Photographer to Melbourne to work at the Sportsbet head office. Ill be working almost every day (7 days). Now I said I was moving from Darwin in the NT and my arrival date will be the 23rd March. I'm open to offers from you if I'm a likely candidate I can pay rent in advance and even extra for convenience and to secure the room.. :) Hope to hear from you ! :D
I am going to do PhD in Electrical and Computer Systems Eng. in Monash University, Clayton. I usually work in the lab and will not be in the home during the day. I usually cook in the home. The cleanliness and silence are important things for me.
I'm a student from Monash University, studying a Bachelor of Science degree in Clayton Campus. Generally I pay my rent and bills on time but most of these are handled by my parents so if I'm overdue rent then I just need to be informed so I can inform my parents about it. I'm a bit of a clean freak, usually I keep the place I'm staying in clean and tidy with everything organized. I'll make sure if anyone else's things are around I'll find a place to put them away. I'm an experienced chef, I used to work in restaurants back in Malaysia and in Texas, USA. I can cook a wide variety of meals and dishes, it just depends on what ingredients are in the fridge. I don't mind cooking for everyone in the house, I can chip in for food. That is if food is shared with everyone in the house. I love to go hiking so if you know a good hill and the means to get to it. Why don't we go for a hike eh? I'm told that I'm a funny person cause I love puns and jokes. Usually I'm a happy-go-lucky person. I'm self-employed, I work as a currency/stocks trader and investor.
I am a very easy going exchange student from England looking for an easy going house share. I study Physics at Monash Clayton and so a property nearby would be perfect. I love to cook and would be glad to cook some meals for the house to try!
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as on disability. I have 2 young indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.
Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lives. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.

I'm a friendly guy with a healthy sense of humour who works full time at Monash Uni. I wouldn't mind living with people who are down for a chat, or to hang out and watch netflix

Hi I am looking to start a share house in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I am fairly flexible on where and the places stated in my listing are only suggestions, not rigid choices. I have lived in share houses before, so I know how things work. I am currently on an extended health break and am on a disability pension though hoping to get back to some kind of work in the not to distant future. I am looking for another person or persons to rent a house with on an equal share basis. I have no problems financially with paying rent or bills on time. I am generally a quiet person and am respectful of other peoples personal space. I am not a party person but do enjoy socialising (and yes, the occasional BBQ or a good party is ok) My preferences are: No smoking in the house No animals (birds or fish are OK) No Kids (unless visiting) NO DRUGS! I am looking to get a house with 3 or more bedrooms and with shed space for storage of bits and pieces (garden and camping equipment and some other odds and ends) I am prepared so look after the outdoor area such as mowing and gardening. I am also willing to do my share of the house duties such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, washing etc.. If you are interested please feel free to contact me at any time
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Finland. I have been in Melbourne for about four months and working full time (weekdays 9 to 5ish) doing digital marketing and design. I'm looking for a nice place, close public transport and the city. Preferably until the end of July (five months), but also open for shorter periods. I'm really into music and all kinds of creative stuff in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and other events around the city or just hanging out with friends, watching movies and etc. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. I'm also responsible, clean and reliable, so I'm happy to do my bit around the house and will take care of the rent and bills without a hassle. Not too interested in a party house, but a friendly and easy-going share-house environment. Feel free to contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
