Hello there! My name is Kylee, and this place looks perfect for what I'm looking for! I just moved here from America on a WHV. I plan on being in Byron for the entire year that I'm here so don't worry about me taking off. I'm NOT a backpacker. I have a full time job as a chef at a local restaurant and am absolutely in love with it! Cooking is one of my passions and would love to cook yummy foods all the time for the whole house! In my free time I enjoy long walks, lazy days on the beach, riding my bike (once I get one), a glass of wine or two at night (sometimes more ;-)), smoking (not a lot at all, mostly when i'm drinking and am more than willing to do so off the property if it is a problem), smoking trees (this is something that has to be excepted), and most of all socializing! I'm not a partier but really enjoy the company of my roommates as well as the occasional guest or two. I really want sociable roommates and am not interested in a bunch of strangers living in a house and never speaking to each other. Lets me fraaaaaaaaans!!!! If this seems like something you're interested in, id be more than happy to meet up and see how things go! Cheers
Fun and easy going human being. Professional and busy most of the time. Very respectful of other people's space, privacy and belongings. Like to keep a tidy house and enjoy cooking and having a nice relaxing catch up with friends.
Hello, I'm from Malaysia. I am studying at University of Wollongong so I hope to find a home close to Uni where I can get to classes easily. If food shops or Coles are nearby would be a bonus too! I intend to get a private room preferably with an ensuite bathroom with a SHOWER. A shared toilet is okay as well *SHOWER*. Im a neat person who will clean up after myself or the mess I have created. I don't drink but I don't mind other people drinking. I'm a chill person who likes personal space but I'm also willing to hang out with housemates for a chit chat or meal.
Hi, I'm sandali, 18 yrs old from Sri Lanka. i'll be coming to Wollongong in July to study civil engineering at the uni of Wollongong. I'm searching for a room close to the uni and it'll be great if its close to the free uni bus. 'Im a very clean and tidy girl, loves music and kpop. I'm very friendly with a huge smile on my face all the time and easy to approach. one plus fact - I'm very SMART and love to help others! Hope to find a very nice place. Thank you in advance.
I'm low maintenance, clean and tidy person, well educated, can hold a conversation and knows how to look after a house. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, cleaning, gym, being outdoors but also good at lounging with a good movie. I've lived on the south coast all my life. I would prefer someone who doesn't smoke, now I don't mind someone who drinks but just casually one or two a night is ok but not a whole case or bottle everynight, is drug free, clean and tidy also. I do prefer an unfurnished room with a separate bathroom as I have my own bed I'd like to use.
We're mature and easy going Byron Shire locals looking for a lovely new home. Jodie has been in the region for 8 years, and I have been around for one year. We're in secure and stable employment and love living in the area. We go away for weekends a fair bit so there'll be times when we're not around. Happy to talk more - just give me a call or email. Adele
I am a poet and yogi looking for a sharehome with creative soul-minded people. I was born and raised in Adelaide, moved to Melbourne for a career in literary publishing, then travelled half the world only to find mySelf in Australia at Chenrezig Buddhist Institute, southeast Queensland. I'm a 33-year-old male studying transpersonal psychology in his spare time and practising a hermetic/heuristic form of eclectic spirituality based on teachings from Nature, spiritual masters, literary geniuses and musical prodigies. It's all dharma if we choose to see it that way. I'm looking for a place to live where I can set up home for the longish term, with people who are on the spiritual path, somewhere between southeast Queensland and south-coast New South Wales. I guess you could say I’m a semi-confused, half-recovered former hippy-careerist: I stopped using drugs in January 2017; my head half-spontaneously sprouted dreadlocks in 2015; my Saturn Return started in 2013; I quit my job and started travelling in 2011; I’ve been a seeker of mystical truth since birth in Adelaide, 1983. I’m looking for a sharehome that would ideally be drug- and alcohol-free, but knowing the creative soul-minded community, I appreciate this is … well, idealistic. A home characterised by moderation in moderation would be ideal. I am a man of open mind, heart and spirit who loves to communicate thoughtfully and explore emotional sensitivity for its creative and transformative beauty. I work hard at being the best man I can be, and I tend to expect nothing less from the people I share my time and energy with. So I’m looking for a sharehome of progressive, compassionate, intelligent and creative people who are working on themselves to make the world a better place from within. I live a life of simple material pleasures and intricate spiritual ones ~ above all I value and pursue the evolution of Consciousness. I observe celibacy as a spiritual practice and identify as non-binary / gender-neutral. I am currently weaning myself off tobacco and caffeine, with a view to establishing a yogic vegan diet by the beginning of 2018. I currently receive unemployment benefits with a temporary exemption to give me some time to recover from depression without having to look for depressing menial work (which I have done my fair share of throughout the years). I’m doing really really well in the mental-health stakes, and I look forward to being self-employed again as a poet and healer by the beginning of 2018 while I continue studying Eastern psychology at dharma centres on the east coast. I value honesty, trust and open communication. I am allergic to passive aggression, manipulation and self-righteous indignation. I embrace the differing lifestyles of others and I expect the same in return. For example, I prefer to have the dishes done before bed, but I don't berate myself or others when this doesn't always happen. I'm one for having rosters and rules we can break for a laugh. I am a clean but not-exactly-tidy person ~ I value order-in-chaos, and cleanliness, but would prefer to share a home that is lived in rather than a house that is always impeccably clean and tidy. I love to cook and share food with home-mates. I love adventure ~ camping, trekking, cycle-touring and learning how to eat native weeds without going the way of Alexander Supertramp. I studied permaculture in 2015, discovering that I have a heartfelt affinity for soil and compost. I love to garden and salvage materials from building supplies to coffee grounds. I love talking shit and having a cackle over a cup of tea in the morning. I also love getting my meditation practice done before I emerge into the home so my moods are not hanging out everywhere. I'm far less moody these days, since I purged a lot of demons in January. ^^^I am, clearly, an essayist as well as a poet.^^^ I will probably post this on my blog later :D
Hi! My name is Florian, I'm a 35y-old researcher from Germany, coming for a 8 week guest stay to the University of Wollongong. During the days, I'll be in the office most of the time. In the evenings, I love to do sports, cooking or check out the area. I've lived in several shared flats before, so I know how to keep things tidy etc. Always had good times with my flatmates. Cheers Florian
Hi there! I'm a friendly and easy-going young health professional from Sydney moving down the coast for work. I'm sociable but considerate and enjoy having my own space to retreat to. I'm big into music, play a few instruments, enjoy watching good sport, can cook up a storm and love to travel. Looking forward to my next adventure!

Hi, We are both vegetarian, we love the beach; I surf and Hayley dives. We are both very easy to get along with and are hoping to team up with a few people to rent a house together! We both work full time. We have both recently moved up from South Australia and would be looking to organise something by mid April.
Hi possible house mates. my name is Jacob, I am 20 years old. I am a creative person who loves to be in the ocean, i am a musician and a story writer. I am into photography and other forms of visual art (charcoal mainly). I am good with computers and can fix or build almost anything given the tools and material. I work full time for a cabin company (cabin life Australia) and am studying a certificate 3 in events management. As for my personality, I am a kind and caring person. As much as i love to meet new people and be social I also like to keep to myself. I am not loud and i keep all my mess to my self. I am a non-smoker, but I do like the occasional drink with friends at the end of a long days work. I am quite an out doors type person when i have time off and so I'm hoping to find a place with people who have the same want for adventure that I do.
Hi! We're a quiet pair of friends from Canada traveling through Australia on working holiday visas. Currently still on the road and will be until mid April. After that we hope to settle somewhere along the East coast and start working full time. Tega: Born and raised in the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada. I'm not too into partying, though I do like to get out every once in a while. I like surfing, snowboarding and I'm starting to get into hiking. Always down to explore new cities/places and find great food! Megan: I'm a Canadian from Vancouver. Very adventurous. I like hiking, swimming, doodling, exploring and finding new places. I'm an artistic, funny person and always looking to find new friends!
We are moving up from Tasmania and looking for like minded people to share a house with :) we are easy to get along with, love chilling out with our dog, playing guitar, listening to music and going for walks or bike rides. We aren't party animals but we don't mind a drink every now and then. We plan on studying at Tafe and Uni and finding casual work. We are clean, respectful and considerate of others. We have a beautiful 2 1/2yr old American staffy, so dog/animal friendly people would be great! :)
Hi, I’m currently 17 years old (18 in July 2017), I’m hardworking, self-motivated and reliable in consideration of my studies and work. I work part time, which usually consumes a majority of my time. I'm fun to be with, tidy and respectful of privacy. If you have any further questions or would like to know anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me :)
Hey guys, I'm Rachel; 31, a former Sydney-sider looking for a coastal change. Currently I'm studying part-time to be a chef and am hoping to transfer my course to a Wollongong campus. I will shortly be working locally also. I'm easygoing and fully house-trained; enjoy local cafe spots, running in the park, browsing markets, hiking, yoga, coffee, cooking, photography, travelling, gathering with friends, the beach, reading and other stuff. In a housemate I look for an honest and upfront person with a warm personality (sociable; easy to converse with) who will allow me to make myself right at home! Should be considerate, clean (hygienic!), and mature. I do enjoy quiet time to myself as much as I love a good chat over dinner or a glass of wine together... so a balance between sociable yet respectful of each other's space would be great. Would prefer to live with a professional, or mature student. Drop me a line if that suits! Looking forward to meeting you.
Hey there. I was born and raised in Jervis Bay but for the past 2 years i have lived on the Gold Coast. As im currently still living on the GC im looking at moving somewhere closer to home. I work full time as a hairdresser and am often out adventuring or excerising. I dont like to drink every weekend but do enjoy socialising. I am very tidy and like things in order. I do meal preps weekly so wont be taking up much room in the kitchen preparing meals for the evening. I am very easily to get along with as i talk alot for a job so holding a conversation has never been a hard thing for me. But in saying that i do enjoy my own company and will respect others also. If there is anything else you would like to know please dont hesitate to ask 😊
I am studying primary education full time at the university of Wollongong and am currently in my third year. I work part time in a pharmacy where I have been for 5 years and attend church twice a week. In any spare time I have after this, I am usually most happy visiting family and friends 😊
Adventure is my middle name whether it be a trip to the supermarket for a bottle of wine or a hike through sticks to see water running down some rocks, I'm there! I'm a Happy-go-lucky, down to earth kind of gal Tidy and respectful of y'all spaces I'm moving from a small country town in Victoria to plant myself ocean side, it would be pretty good to have some like minded people to share a house or to just put above adventures into place Let's be friends!
We are both very tidy and easy going. Really enjoy playing (Singer, guitarist and violin) and listening music. I enjoy shooting landscape images. We love animals and are happy to live with them. We like our privacy but are also keen for some group gathering. Occasional glass of wine or two are always nice.
We are a British couple on a working holiday visa and we would love to live in Queensland for 3 months. We are super clean & tidy and it would be great to live in a flat share or a private rental depending on availability. It would be great if anyone could get in touch to let us know about any properties and hopefully we can arrange a viewing from here if the fit is right for all of us!
Hello. I am a moving up north from Melbourne to pursue Environmental Studies at SCU. I am a health conscious vegetarian. As I’m moving primarily for my studies somewhere where I am able to have some quiet time to myself to study is important. Although, I am 20 years old and in a new area so definitely welcome socialising and having a beer too. I’ve lived out of home before, always paid rent on time and have great rental history. I intend to work asap as well as study. I am looking to slot into an existing home, or looking for like minded people to start a new share house with! Preferably somewhere between Lismore and the bay.. Ideally Bangalow or somewhere in that area.
I'm a quiet student, 22, Sydney born and raised. I spend most of my time reading, gaming, or hanging out with my friends when I'm not at Uni. Down for a chat/dinner/to watch some TV together, but mostly like to keep to myself. Currently on centrelink student payments, so rent will always be on time. I'm not always tidy, but I'm always clean. Laid back and easy to get along with - if I have a problem I prefer to sit down and discuss it, and I would hope my room mates do the same. I love animals of all description - I'd love to live in a house with a cat, I miss mine at home! Non smoker, but don't mind if you do as long as it's not in the house. I have no preferences for room mates except that they keep communal areas clean. Male or female, gay or straight, student or working, I'm happy to room with just about anyone :)
Full time student at UOW, very friendly, easygoing, clean and respectful. Looking for a room to rent in Wollongong and preferably near a free shuttle station. Spend most of my time studying and for fun I enjoy watching sport and play volleyball or soccer and yeah thats pretty much it.
Iam easy going, Iam always smiling, hard worker, Iam very clean growing up with an OCD mother, Iam very appreciative with whatever I have and always keen to help out with anything in anyway that I can, Iam a tiler who works full time five to six days a week start early in the morning and wouldn't be home to later that evening, I can tell you that you won't find a better housemate, I do like to dress up and have a few drinks in town, I like to go to gym atleast twice a week, if you want someone to get you giggling around the house or someone who has no problem scrubbing the toilet bowl, Iam your man.
Hello ! We are a French American couple who are in Australia working and traveling. We just finished cycling trip around Tasmania and now decided to settle down in Byron Bay for 3 months. It was a pretty last minute decision so we are ready to move in straight away !
Chinese-Australian background, moved interstate to attend university. Currently deferred from study, working as a post-office assistant. Looking for a peaceable shared apartment with reasonable access to public transport at an affordable price. Upfront clear disclosure of any additional inclusive (e.g. utilities, wi-fi, etc) costs would be very much appreciated.
I'm heading up to the Shire on the 7th of April to live indefinitely so I'm looking for some short or long-term accomodation. I've got casual jobs lined up at bars as well as some savings so am looking for something around $150-$180 p/w to begin with, and in or close to Byron town as I don't have a car About me, I'm a 19 year old gal (20 on the 10th!) with a love for the ocean, music, outdoors and anything that makes my hands dirty (paints, charcoal, gardening etc). I eat vegan, mostly organic foods and have a slight coffee addiction too :) I do have a 6 year old ginger cat that I'd be really upset to leave behind so it'd be perfect if I could find a place where he could laze about freely and get cuddles from roomies I do enjoy a good night out but you'll sometimes find me curled up with a tea, binge watching Netflix or reading a book If I sound like someone you'd like to house share with please feel free to message me or give me a buzz
Hi guys! I'm Paulina, a girl from Germany, who would love to spend a few weeks in Byron just to enjoy life and surfing 7 months of working. After that I'm traveling up the coast -because of that I won't stay longer than 3 weeks. I am easy-going but clean and tidy and don't have that high demands (would be down to share a room or sleep on a mattress/sofa) My max. budget is 180$ for a week. If you're interested just text me please😉✌🏻️ Cheers, Pauli
Outgoing, friendly, clean and responsible Mexican currently with a working holiday visa and planning to stay longer in Australia. Currently looking for flatmates or a room beginning on April when I get back from my travels. Also looking for a job but still able to pay rent while I look and find one.
Looking for a room around nnsw asap! Super laid back and easy to live with, I like to play guitar and have a bit of a smoke. I have decent cleaning standards and know how to keep a comfortable and happy home :)
Hey I'm Rach. Im a graduate paramedic and have been offered a full-time position in the northern NSW area so I'm looking for a magical place to move into. I love the beach, surfing, gigs, books, natural medicine and all things nature. I'm an easy going gal and love having a giggle. Much love x
I am studying full time and I'm currently working as a IT contractor but hoping to find a part time job. I have my own car so I don't need to be living near a bus stop or train station. Also I go to the gym around 6 am during the week. Don't mind hanging out or just being by myself.
hey there, my name is tamer. im 33yo carpenter. currently living in Western Australia, but moving to Sydney at the end of march for a new job. im either looking to share a house/apartment with 1 other person or team up with 1 other person to apply for a new place. as mentioned above im a carpenter and the new job is a secure full time job, hence the move. im pretty easy to get along with, clean, tidy and respectful of others. would like to share with someone who shares these same simple values. due to my work nature, ultimately on weekdays would like to come home and just chill and relax over couple of beers, and would be good to strike an intelligent conversation with someone. weekends would be nice to go out and about and explore. me personally im an outdoor kind of person, love my camping fishing and 4x4, and its definitely something i would like to continue if possible. looking for someone responsible and respectful to share with but still be someone who is fun to b around and have a laugh with. im not fussed about what gender, background, religion and so on you are, as long as you are a decent person im happy with that. im financially stable, so covering my rent and share of expenses is not an issue at all, and hope to share with someone the same. i am a smoker, however i never smoke inside of any house. i do have a daughter in perth so every couple of month ill be making a trip back for a week to see her, and i do have family and friends in wollongong "im originally from good old gong" which i might disappear on some weekends to go down and catch up with them. i will be in sydney 27/02 till 11/03 to finalize some of the new job thing, where im hoping to find a place, after that fly back to perth for 2 weeks pack my things and drive back to sydney. so if you have something available or intersested in a team up, please feel free to contact me. thank you
