Hi there! Student at Monash Uni doing law, and working part time. I'm generally pretty busy, but am pretty social and love talking over a drink/food! Lived on my own for almost 4 years, so am very well trained - clean up after my self, can keep noise to a minimum, and am generally understanding and approachable.
I'm 26 years old, have a bachelor degree in Art and Media Management but I'm aspiring a career in coaching crossfit and functional fitness. I live an active life(running, speedrope, gymnastics rings). So while I'm here I want to fully experience Melbourne. I still don't have a job but I'm getting my white card and RSA to kickstart my life over here(gotta start somewhere😉). I have a lot of experience in hospitality as an bartender and I am willing to do every kind of job, except deskjobs(boring and not made for it). I'm open-minded, relax, adventerous and a good with people. What I'll bring to the house: good conversations, good vibes and some good meal prepping skills. I've partied a lot back home(Amsterdam), but my priorities now shifted.
I'm Melinda and I work as a Nurse. I'm easy going and friendly. Currently looking for a room to rent (incl utility bills)
Hello, I'm a Masters student at Monash University (I study at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton). I'm looking for a place around Caulfield/Malvern East area or really anywhere along the Cranbourne/Pakenham line. Ideally walking distance to the train. I'm looking for either a room or a group of people who want to find a place in the same area. I'm hoping to move early January (before the 13th) I've lived in a lot of share houses and I like to think that I'm generally pretty easy to live with; clean, sociable, and pretty easy going. I love a good chat but am also very understanding of personal space. If you want to get in touch or have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Relaxed, clean, nice and reliable roommate looking to move around the Caulfield/Malvern area close to my work. Full time Software Consultant studying on the side my Graduate Diploma in Accounting.
I'm currently looking for a share house while I work (in hospitality) and do my masters (writing a thesis about Overwatch). I'm pretty social but am also happy to spend time chilling by myself. I'm very into video games but also enjoy binge watching Netflix shows. Also i'm vegan but I'm real chill about it.

Hi! We are a group of girls who met in Sydney and have become great friends. We've moved to Melbourne to settle for a few months and would ideally just love to unpack our stuff after living in hostels for 3 months! We range from 21 years of age to 30, and come from England and Northern Ireland. We're all very friendly with great senses of humour and enjoy the odd alcohol beverage, but we also love to stay in and chill out. We can all cook and take pride in being neat and tidy, and are also very respectful of each other and those around us. If you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you soon, Samantha, Courtney, Carol and Happy
Hi I'm an easy to get along with aussie bloke moving from bris to melbs soon to start a new job. I'll be working and out and about most of the time but when i am home I don't mind catching up with housemates over a meal from time to time. I am clean, tidy, respectful of others and easy to live with. I enjoy exercising, days at the beach and playing a few songs on the guitar every once in a while. I am looking for a room to stay for 2-3 months. Cheers
Hi I'm Rob, a friendly and clean New Zealander, i've been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the sports and events industries, with a busy summer lined up. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers

I'm easy going, respectful and mindful of others, honest, responsible, i love animals ( I have a 11month old bengal kitten called saphira), love a good laugh and im allways looking on the bright side of life. I usually keep to myself, but i do love a good chat and love to hear other peoples stories and experiences. I'm only looking for a place with a garage or shed so that instead of living in the house id use the garage/shed as my room/parking space for my motorbike. As long as it has a solid flooring and easy access for me to bring my bike in after work. If its cold and breezy i dont care:) im a handy man and i love to fix things. If im not working on my bike im usualy working on my visual display electronics. Iv worked in just about every job industry, iv traveled all over asia and australia and also live in melbourne backpackers for 2 years. I got a story for every occasion. Im verry open to options and ideas on anything.
Hello I'm an international student, female, ex-graphic designer, now into early childhood education. Easy going, working and studying, quite busy, tidy and organized, love to learn about everything, movies, comics, respectful with personal spaces looking for accommodation.
I will be studying Masters at monash university, caulfield campus. Basically an Indian. Like to explore technology, music... Like being tidy and organised person. Love to be quit without disturbing anyone with occasional enjoyment over weekends. :) Highly Prefer LGBT friendly environment.
I've been renting for about a year now, and my time at my current home is coming to a close. Looking to broaden my horizons. I am a casual stocktaker with a reliable income, and I work at various times on different days. I don't drive or own a car so I would prefer to be close to a station. I clean up after myself, am careful in my usage of home utilities and respect others' privacy and personal space, so I hope to expect the same from those I share with. I'm pretty quiet but happy for some banter, and I'm not opposed to house events and the like. :) In my free time, I tend to keep to myself and I'm a bit of an introvert. I like to play games, read, watch movies and learn things to cook. I don't often drink or go out, but I don't care if anyone else does. I sometimes have my boyfriend over for the night (21y.o), and other nights I stay at his (we work together). He is quiet and respectful, and I hope my housemates will be comfortable with him hanging around sometimes.
Hi guys, a bit about us: Jing - Mid 20's, working full time in Funds Management, enjoys cooking good food and eating good food (of course, that's the whole point of cooking right); also trying to get in free cardio by cycling to and from work. Kelly - Mid 20's, full time Masters student, also works part time as a freelance writer. She is a really good Chef (Trust me I have pretty high standards when it comes to food), and enjoys dragging Jing around doing various things outdoors. About the place: Looking for a place in the east or south east and within 15kms of Melbourne CBD. Would like a master bedroom with own Ensuite and walk in robe. Most important thing for us is Cleanliness, applies double for the Kitchen. Common sense and respect are also very nice qualifies to have in house mates; we are always happy to make new friends as long as everyone also tries to consider others as well as themselves.
Currently in my 3rd year of Uni studying full-time, doing a Bachelor of Science at Monash University and I have another semester to go after this year with the possibility of further studies, either doing a postgraduate or Masters degree. I enjoy keeping busy during the day and between studying, volunteering and working part-time as a dental assistant and customer service officer, I don't really have time for much else. I do enjoy going out on weekends but I am not a party person at all although I wouldn't mind the occasional party but I'm not the type of person to go overboard - In fact, I'm really sensible. I'm a bit of a neat freak (clean and tidy), easy going and relaxed. I will mind my own business and happy to do my own things but will socialise or happy to have dinner together, etc... I currently live with 40 people and get along with all of them although I don't see all 40 at once. I'm definitely a really independent person and have been from a young age of living by myself so I can take care of myself, the house and being mindful of other people is important too! I'm looking to either share a house with 1 or 2 people, preferably someone who studies or a young professional who is working OR to go into an existing house that may have 1 or 2 people already sharing. More than one bathroom is preferable along with a garage to house my car, but not essential. Looking to move out end of this year or early next year before uni resumes in March. In saying this, I am open to any ideas so please ask for more information to get to know me!
Hey! I'm a twenty-four year old female from England, I'm in Melbourne until mid March 2017 and looking for a place to stay. I currently work full-time in the CBD, and love to explore and keep fit on the weekends. I like to socialise but I'm also happy to keep myself to myself when needed. I am looking for a private room in a furnished property.
Hey funky friends! So here's the boring stuff straight up - My name is Alannah, I am from the South Gippsland region and I finished Year 12 in 2015 and have had a nice gap year this year and am studying Psychology at Deakin University in Burwood in 2017... So, you know, I gotta find me some good ol' accommodation. Not too costly preferably, as I am a classic poor Uni student. 😅 Now to the good shit. I am a world-class Mario Kart 64 player so if you're feeling it we can 10/10 have a tournament (I'll supply the goods - controllers, console, wine etc) or we can just play any 64 game together and swim in our nostalgia and your tears when I kick yo' ass. Wii, DS, XBOX and PlayStation games are also welcome with open arms. 😘 Sorry to fit the stereotype that vegans tell you they're vegan even when you don't ask, but, I am vegan. I don't care if you're not vegan. We can have sausage sizzles and burgers and massive fiestas together and we'll drink some Sangria and release our inner Spanish sides (even though my heritage is purely Scottish, English and French 😅) and, I don't mean to toot my own horn (I do) but I make a meeeean vegan spaghetti bolognese. Sausage rolls, too, that have been approved by many Omni's. So why wouldn't you have me as your house mate? If you have some little beings living in your house I'll like you even more. Woofers? Meowers? Sqwarkers? Squeekers? Oh yas, bring 'em on, baby. Brownie points for you if you got dem pets. My hair color will change frequently depending on my mood. No -unfortunately I'm not Nymphadora Tonks - I just wear wigs. #theredhairisfake #imactuallyablonde I'm not a massive party animal, but if you're having a party I'll totally join in. And all jokes aside, I am very respectful and will give you space and be clean and all those top qualities. Hit me up with a message if you'd be keen on finding a place together. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hey I'm easy going don't mind having a chat and getting to know others. I understand privacy and sometimes enjoy spending time by myself or at friends places. I like to go out some weekends to the city with my friends on a Saturday night every couple weeks. Just looking for a place we're I feel comfortable an welcomed :)
Hi there, I'm Amy, a 26-year-old high school teacher from Queensland. I am moving down to Melbourne next year and am coming down in December to try and score a great place to live! I'm fairly active and play various sports, dance ballet, run and enjoy a good kickboxing session. I also really love the arts, so I'm constantly on the lookout for new exhibitions/shows to see. I love to cook and make a mean chocolate souffle. I am a clean freak and would prefer to live with someone at least a little similar. I have shared before with no issues and am very reliable. I would love to live with someone who's happy to socialise every once in a while but also understands the balance between this and personal space. I don't own any pets but will love yours as my own. If you think I would fit in nicely in your home please get in touch! :)
Easy going mature minded individual that is considerate of others space and things. Enjoys cooking and the team effort of keeping the place tidy. The home I see as a place to recharge for the day ahead, some social interaction and time out. Tend to be more social out with friends than at home. Preference for unit style accommodation with some yard & Lug. Thanks, Sam
Hello, My name is Clinton and I am a male Culinary student from Hong Kong. I am a outgoing, polite and friendly person, always happy to make new friends. I would like to rent a room before my arriving to Melbourne on 5th January, 2017. I will be studying at Holmesglen Institute - Moorabbin, so i prefer some place near the campus, much better if the place is near train station. Since I am a culinary student, therefore i would love to stay in a place with a good kitchen, i am more than happy to make meals to the housemates as well!! Sorry for my poor English and thank you everyone for reading this post
Hi, I'm Isabella, a 23 year old student from Germany working on my degree in psychology. I'll be studying at Monash (Caulfield) for a semester as an exchange student starting in February :) I'll be staying until mid July, so I'm looking for a place to stay at for about 6 months, but I can be a bit flexible . A bit about me: I love art (museums, exhibitions, doing some of my own, you name it), music, reading, exploring and being outdoors. I'd describe myself as chatty, very open-minded and easy-going. I've been sharing an apartment for 2,5 years now and it's always been great getting to know new people, maybe going out together for a drink sometime or doing other activities together. I've spent some time living in different countries and it's always been a great experience so far. If you're looking for a friendly, down-to-earth and fun roomie, I'd love to hear from you! Isabella :)
Amanda: 28, loves blankets and Netflix. Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. We've been friends for years and housemates since July 2015, but our lease is up and we want a bigger/nicer place, hopefully in the beach-adjacent area. Jem also comes with a huge 60" smart TV and golden retriever. Amanda comes with the sunny optimism of a golden retriever. Both fully employed, clean, and good conversationalists. Non-smokers. Good DVD collection.
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
My name is Josh, I'm 24. I'm very friendly and easy to talk to. I'm all about going out for a drink, have some food and a laugh. Most of the time i will be either at work, gym or chilling out somewhere reading a good book. More than happy for a guy or girl room mate/s. Non smoker, respectful and im also hillarious which is a bonus :) Looking to move somewhere around the end of January as i work in East Bentleigh and i live quite a fair way away from that at the moment :)
I'm an Engineer from India, coming to Melbourne to pursue Masters in Information Technology from RMIT University. I'm fun loving, understanding person. I would like to have a stay for around a week first if I will feel comfortable I would be glad to extend the period of stay; since I have to be there in Melbourne for two years.
I've recently returned to Melbourne after living and working in San Francisco for the past five years. Prior to that, I lived in Melbourne for five years while doing a PhD. I'm a working professional with a busy life, but always up for a chat.
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.
Hey all, I'm currently living in South Yarra but my lease is ending on my own apartment so I'm looking for a place for about three months before I head off overseas to Canada. I work full time hours between a few jobs but am always happy to have a laugh and a drink when I'm free. I'm into spontaneous road trips, cooking, volleyball, reading, and always willing to give something new a try.
Recently moved from NZ. Looking for similar age. No gender preferences. Work full time, away Monday to Friday often. Sociable and outgoing. Clean and can cook. Love to chat but respectful of privacy and quiet times!
I am a super friendly, down to earth and easygoing person. I am respectful towards every living being. My positive and happy attitude towards life is what people have always liked about me. I love playing soccer, chess. Recently trying to meditate. oh yeaa, I love to cook.. i am really good.. seriously lol.. My ultimate goal is to learn as much as I can in this lifetime.
Hi there, my name is Melvin and I've recently moved here from Perth in search of a better work opportunity. That, and probably a bit of study down the track. Presently working as a warehouse assistant and rostered on only week days so my weekends are open. Recently joined the thirties club, friendly and easy going chap with a dry sense of humour who looks and cleans after himself. Always good for a chat every now and then and happy to share a drink or two but also respect people's need for privacy as I like some quiet time myself. Listening to music is something I happen to enjoy a lot. I go to the gym occasionally but playing soccer is my passion. I commit to playing it x3 a week if I can manage but feel I'm getting really bad at the sport!
I work 30 hours a week in a pharmacy. I have a passion for makeup. I'm often found out on weekends and catching up with friends when I'm not working. I consider myself a fairly outgoing person. I would love to live with someone who is easy to get along with and have a laugh. I also appreciate alone time.
Heya my names Glennys I'm 21 and I work full time in Fashion Design. Im looking for a nice little Bayside home preferably to share with girls of similar age. Im fun, friendly and socialable but do also like my own time. And im looking to move out as soon as possible xx
I am clean, respectful, fun and friendly.I love being both at home chilling out but also getting outside and doing cool stuff. I like exercise, trying new activities, exploring and being outdoors. I also love chilling at home with a glass of wine and catching up with my flat mates with some TV or a movie and dinner.
Hey guys and gals, I'm just putting my feelers out there. I'm looking to move out late Jan/early Feb. I'm fairly flexible moving in later though, but would really like to be settled by mid Feb. A little about me: I work at two jobs one in Out of School Hours care and the other as a nanny. I also do the odd babysitting job here and there and I'm due to finish up my undergrad Psych degree in June. I'm laid back, reliable, bubbly and warm. I come house trained and would like to move in with others who have a bit of house training... or common sense but I'm not picky. I like music, Netflix, masterchef, the beach, a chin wag, hanging out with my mates and enjoying a glass of champers every now and then. One of the major things I'm looking for in a housemate/s is compatibility and people I can become mates not just people I live with. Would love to share a meal and a chat at the end of the day but understand everyone needs their alone time. Now comes the tricky part: I would really love to catch up with you my potential housemates before things get to far along but I'm going to Fiji between 5/1-24/1 so ideally we'd catch up over the next few weeks. If I sound like the type of person you'd like to live with shoot me a message. P.s I come fully stocked with everything you'd need in a house except couch, dining table and chairs.
Hi, I'm Trung, 23 years old. I'm going to start my master's study at Monash Caulfield this February (major Business, Marketing), but I'm gonna show up on 3rd Jan, 2016. I'm an matured guy (comparing to other guys in my hometown haha), interested in reading, music, baking and cooking. I'm quite social, sometimes would like to drink, always enjoy a deep, meaningful and a little bit sarcastic chat. I would love to live with someone who loves social life, books, movies and music. has big sense of humor. I usually keep myself busy with study, work (I'm a freelance copywriter, remotely working for a Vietnamese advertising agency) and a social life. Besides, I'm keen on housework, would love to share houseworks to keep common and hygiene.
Im a 27 year old construction worker who has just come back from traveling overseas for the last 18 months, I would like to say I'm pretty easy going and love to have a laugh. One of my best traits is always seeing the best in any situation...my cooking isn't great but i still love to try anyway.
Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months (around five would be ideal) with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
I am a Student in Monash Uni, Masters in Business Information Systems. Quite chill on all aspects of life. To each their own. Like to travel, explore, party occasionally, 420 is da bomb. Also quite involved in technology, working on a start-up right now. Looking for a nice and easy going atmosphere.
Hi there, this is David. I'm a graphic designer and artist from Bogota, Colombia. I'm looking for a nice place to live with happy and easy going people. At the moment I'm studying and working part time. Im really chill guy, pretty much into art, design, cultural activities, sport and cool parties.
