Hi there, Virtual reality developer/ 3d artists and all round good guy who is moving back to Melbourne after living in Coffs Harbour for 5 years. And will be attending RMIT this year. So while I'm up here in Coffs Harbour I'm looking for a room. I'm very sociable, open minded and laid back individual and always enjoy a chat over a good coffee. I would consider myself as a house trained male (thanks to my mother) who pays the rent on time, tidies up after himself and respects other people's space and property. I can also cook a good tuna pasta. My main interests are virtual and augmented reality, jazz, Burlesque, horror and sci fiction films. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hello!, I'm Roberto from Mexico and will start my master in business on Feb'2018 at Monash, this is my first visit to Australia and I'm arriving by end of January, I know that I can be a great flatmate since I've been living with other people since I was 18 and have no complains until now jaja!. I'm very easy to live with, can be a silence and invisible roomie if it's needed or a friendly social person (prefer the last one!).. Please feel free to text me and ask anything about me that can help to feel you comfortable..
Hey hey! I'm looking for a comfortable, welcoming home to move into in March. I work full-time as a graphic designer in Armadale and don't want to travel too far. I love a binge-watching session- be it comedy, crime, reality etc. I enjoy a bit of boxing and working out but equally as much as I enjoy a maccas run! Always up for a chat, but also love my own space. I've previously lived in two share houses, both times living with two male housemates which I do prefer but open to new experiences. I'm tidy, clean, respectful of your space/things, and happy for shared dinners too. I reckon I go alright :)
I'm a friendly guy who spends his spare time socialising with mates. I've recently returned from 5 months travelling Europe and enjoy meeting new people which was strengthened further by this trip. I usually go out and catch up with mates on the weekends, love my music and have a broad taste of tunes, love watching footy and cheering on the swans in the winter. I grew up in Phillip Island and head back there at times. I studied journalism at uni and worked at a newspaper for three years before I went travelling. Would love to find good house mates who I can hang out with and become good friends
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :)
Clean, tidy, slightly amusing. I am not interested in sharing a bedroom or a house with more than 1-2 people, thanks.
Hey! We are two Friends, Julius (21) and Benjamin (26), both from Austria! I, Julius, work as a researcher at a museum in Elsternwick and Benjamin is a professional Graphic Designer. We both enjoy social time but also time for ourself sometimes. We are clean and tidy :)
Hi there! My name is Marcie and I'm obsessed with art. That's why I'm keen to move from Brisbane to Melbourne and be engulfed by the culture and creative community over there. I'm a very clean, respectful and polite housemate who loves to cook. The social aspect of share houses is very appealing to me too, as I love to be around people. At the moment I work full time hours at an ALH pub and plan to get a transfer to Melbourne, so I would have a job as soon as I get down there. I'm also about to start a dual Arts/Fine Arts degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). For fun I like to read, make art and go to gigs. Can't wait to meet you xo M
Hello all! My name is Kelsey. I’m a Drama teacher living in the Inner South East on my own currently, and although I love it, I’m looking to team up with someone and move out of my place at the end of May/start of June. I’m trying to do this whole “saving for a house” adult thing, and it’s easier when you live with an awesome housemate. I’ve been teaching for 6 years (Drama/English/Psych), so I have a reliable job. I spend most of the week either slaving away at work (kidding...I swear I love my job), at the gym (let’s see how long that resolution lasts), playing tennis or visiting friends/family. Bonus points if you play tennis. I’m pretty relaxed and like to chill with wine and watch tv every now and then. If I’m in a bad mood, I know to lock myself away. Would like a housemate that isn’t going to lock themselves away 24/7 though. Wouldn’t mind making a new friend! I like to go out every now and then, but I’m not a huge party animal (probably because all of my friends are basically married, but anyway....) I have everything needed for a house (fridge, couch, coffee table, tv, storage cubes, washing machine etc). Please note: my lease runs out mid June, so not looking to move until at least May :) Thanks!
Hey! I‘m a 23 year old student from Germany looking for a room in Melbourne East for my year abroad at Monash. I’ve been living in shared flats since I was an undergrad student and I would like to proceed this tradition abroad 😉 I am also looking forward meeting new people to make the most of my time in Australia. I would describe myself as a laidback and reliable person. I like memes, doing sports, video games and netflix, and going out. So, I guess what everybody likes to 😉. As a roommate, I mainly qualify by cooking not only fairly passable, but also regularly too much for myself. I’m also clean and tidy and respect others private space. I will be moving to Melbourne on 10th February, so unfortunately, I can’t come to inspect the flat/house before, but it would be great to get to know each other via skype. Cheers, Leon
Hi everyone, my name is Alex and I'm 30 years old. One year ago I decided to try something different with my life after 4 years working at the same place and with the same routine everyday, so I ended up in Australia. I'm working in hospitality and I'm also studying a Diploma in Leadership and management. A bit more about me, I'm from Colombia, I love listening to music and play guitar (just for fun), I like movies, love soccer, kinda play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I love travelling and sharing experiences with other people. I'm here because I want to improve my English as well, so talks are always welcomed. Of course if some of you would like to learn some words in Spanish I can help you with that. I'm really easy going, respectful and a tidy person (not crazy about it). I live now in CBD sharing room but I would like to find a different place after 1 year in the same place, so please let me know what you think. See ya. Cheers!!
I am a friendly, down-to-earth, easy-going and a tidy housemate. I'm studying at Monash university and working part time. I am a bit flexible with move in dates too. I am also open for teaming up with other students and people to look or move into a new house.
I’m practical to live with and love socialising. I’m a full time student, work part-time and exercise a lot!! I love cooking but unfortunately I don’t have enough time. I’m French and It’s been 4 years I m in Melbourne. I just put 6 months because I had to put down something!
Hi, I'm Rajiv. Im going to be studying and working part time in Melbourne for awhile. I'm a neat and tidy person. I make sure to clean up after myself and like to keep things in order. I usually keep myself busy with work or studies but I'm always ready to spend sometime to relax and unwind. I'm easy to get along with and am happy to lend a hand with anything if needed.
I am Kristin, 24 years old, from Germany and coming as a grad exchange student in psychology to Monash University. I am a friendly, tidy, open-minded and uncomplicated person. I lived in shared flats not only in Germany but also for one year in India and for another ten months in Argentina. I like it to spend time with my flatmates and cook together or go out for a beer but also sometimes just spending time by my own. I love to sing and play the guitar, hike, read books and I am addicted to good (vegetarian) food and coffee. I am keen to learn new things and I try to play an active part in society for example in the feminist or the climate justice movement. Besides I like travelling and getting to know new places and people - hence I would love to get to know you too!
Hi, Looking for somewhere to live for at least 3 months in one room of a private home. I work full time in Bentleigh and would prefer to stay around areas listed on my profile. If you do not have a listing, please do not make contact with me. Only people with listings please. I do not have a budget so please be in contact if what you have suits. Please also note l will not give cash for rent, l will only direct deposit. If you don't agree with that, don't waste time contacting me and l say that in the nicest possible way.
Hi there! I have lived in Brisbane, Shrewsbury (UK), Coventry (UK), and Montreal (Canada), but am originally from Malaysia. I am friendly and polite (at least I think so), and love good food. I will be commencing full-time postgraduate studies at Monash (Caulfield) this year, and am looking for a place to live. The 6 months length of stay listed on my profile is really more or a minimum period rather than a preferred length. I'm neat, clean, and tidy, particularly when it comes to common areas, but not to the point of being obsessive about it. I don't tend to make a racket unless we're all getting excited over games night together. I tend to try to help out around the house where possible, and I will never be tardy with bills. I tend to prefer a night in with good company (board games, a drink or two, movies etc.), but will also gladly go out for a drink and meal now and then. I enjoy hiking, swimming, skiing, and badminton. Not exactly a pro, but I'm always happy when I get the time to do any of them. I can also chat a bit about Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and a few other fantasy novels/authors if that's your kind of thing. In Melbourne I'd probably like to watch stand-up comedy, live music performances, and theatre shows every once in a while. I don't smoke or have pets, although quite frankly I'd be very happy to have canine or feline roommates.
I'm Chanelle, I'm 26 and studying a master of nursing. From late February I'll be going to uni in Clayton two days a week, have placement at the Alfred three days a week, and will be working 3-4 shifts per week. I'm very neat, respectful of other people's space and belongings, I really like to cook, and I enjoy a glass of wine here and there. I'm social but too busy to party all the time so I'm looking for a room in an established share house with likeminded, friendly people :)
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.
I'm currently a nurse student, studying in the city three days a week and looking for part time employment. I also have a 1 year old french mastiff who is very friendly and loveable, if you're okay with pets. I'm also independent, tidy, clean, approachable and very friendly! Always up for a chat and an outing, but also like those quiet nights in!
Coming to Melbourne on 8th February to pursue my post-graduation from Monash University as an International student from Chandigarh, India. A studious, soft-spoken and well-behaved person with respect for every person and their privacy. Maintains good cleanliness.
