I'm mature, quiet and responsible. Also very interesting. I'm a high school relief teacher. Mostly keep to myself, into cooking good food and enjoying a couple of drinks over dinner. Looking for cool housemates in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Northern NSW.
Artist / musician / teacher / Counselor / minister ... still traveling but looking for a peaceful home base. We are creative, caring, sense of honour, discrete, acknowledge sense of 'your own space'. Non-smokers, not loud, easy-going. Home is sanctuary. We have interesting global stories to tell, and yet covet 'our own space'. We are particular about the shared kitchen being kept super-clean, so our preference is a self-contained space that doesn't put that pressure on you! Just looking for somewhere light, bright, fresh and restful. Walking distance to a thriving cafe culture would be a bonus. Walk to the beach and hear the ocean at night would be bliss.
Hey I'm Jemma, Iv just recently moved to the GoldCoast for a change. I'm from the country but have been working in Canberra for the past 2 years. I work Full-time as a hairdresser and will be taking up outside of work study. I don't know very many people here so I don't have much of a social life. I do exercise and go to the gym to fill in my spare time. Most weekends I will be flying to Sydney or Canberra and training for work. I am a tidy person who will always clean up after myself. I don't mind animals. Message me what you have :)
Hello my names brigden, im currenly 18 and my patner luke is 27. We are a friendly couple always willing to meet new people and too create new memories. Hi! 😊 I'm a professional muso, gigging the East Coast on weekends. I'm currently also studying digital photography online and about to start another course at Kingscliffe Tafe starting in July. My friends say I'm funny, spiritual, creative, honest, respectful & communicative.. and I agree with them 😊 I've lived in sharehouses before and understand the dynamics of respecting personal & shared spaces, honest communication, financial responsibilities & contribution. I'd be away most weekends and in study mode most weekdays with spurts of social activities like dinners and enjoy bodyboarding and brisk walks when I can. I'm looking for either a big bedroom or space for music/camera/office use. A small studio if you will. Maybe a garage or study if bedroom isn't big enough. Anything else, just ask 😊
Hey Guys, I'm 26 years old and looking for a room to rent ideally on the southern end of the gold coast. I am only after a short stay as i am planning a trip overseas for a few months at the end of 2017. I have two jobs currently and am at uni so i am a very busy person who is barely at home. Im an easy going lad and when i do have downtime i usually keep to myself in my room watching Netflix and so on.I enjoy skating and the sunshine at the beach as well as kicking the footy around. I am respectful of other poeples belongings and try to minimise my use of other poeples things. I currently live in tweed heads South in a house that is far too noisy for me so i am looking to move. I have a partner that lives seperate from me so the only time i would have visitors is when occasionally stays.
Jack and I are both very quiet and busy people and would be super easy to live with. We are very easy going and enjoy spending most of our time outdoors, by the beach or watching netflix. We have a 5 year old miniature labradoodle named Lenny. Lenny is a beautifully well behaved dog and is a pleasure to have around the home. He is non-shedding and is 100% toilet trained and does not bark. Jack and I are very tidy people who respect the space and privacy of others. We are both working and studying so would spend little time at home.
Chiller, health conscious (except when I'm not haha), love to have fun banter and also deep chats, youth worker, naturopath, counsellor, also enjoy creating some art and electronic music. Moving up from Byron to start a new chapter and be closer to work. Keen for a new family of housemates :) I am looking for an unfurnished room. Cheers!
Hey my name is Jake, I'm 25 and have just recently moved over from WA. I'm a very easy going, laid back guy and work full time as an electrician. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, being outdoors and relaxing. I am clean, tidy and I also like cooking. If you have a room that you might think suits me, please let me know ASAP
G'day! Born and raised in Portugal, just 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean coast, I've always felt better by the sea. I'm a big fan of all things Nature and outdoor sports. Cooking only for myself can be quite boring but I love it when there's more people around. I'd rather have a great meal at home than one at a fancy restaurant. Shall I put another shrimp on the barbie for you? :D I've graduated from a Bachelor in Tourism Management in 2010 and moved to Sweden straight after. I studied Swedish and did some part-time jobs the first year until I got admitted to a Master in Entrepreneurship at Lund University. I lived there for 2 years and started my own company, importing Portuguese wine to Sweden, which I still do up to now. During the 7 years that I've lived in Sweden I've also been working as a professional photographer and I'm part of a new brand of mens underwear called Charm My Snake, which is design in Sweden and made in Portugal. Other odd jobs I've done would be carpenter, painter, gardener, handy-man, Portuguese teacher and I've even written down addresses on thousands of envelopes once. All this to say, I'm a very easy going person, with no prejudices whatsoever. Now, 7 years after having arrived in Sweden, I feel that it is time for me to move on to my next adventure and start a new chapter in my life. I've been granted a Working Holiday Visa to Australia and I'll be landing in Sydney on the 20th of October. My plan at the moment is to spend a week or two in Sydney and then move to the Gold Coast where I'd love to spend at least a year. I'll most likely extend my visa a second year. I have a couple of friends living in Coolangata and Burleigh Heads so I'd love to find a room nearby as well. As I'm a big fan of the beach and ocean, the closer I can be to the coast, the better. Having a nice kitchen where to cook is also a big plus and as I rather cook for several people than just myself, it would be great that everyone in the house would have meals together most of the time. Having a barbie in the house would be the cherry on top of the cake! I'm into having a healthy lifestyle, surfing, photographing landscapes and people, going for walks on the beach, riding the bicycle and chasing sunsets. Best ending to the day would be hanging out with friends and drinking some good red wine, preferably on the beach. If you feel like we'd get along and are in need of a flatmate, feel free to send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you and see you soon in Australia! Straaaaaay! :) PS: You can check some of the places I've been on Instagram
I'm an active, social, hardworking, happy person. I study nursing and work hospitality so I'm busy most days and nights. I like to keep a clean house but I don't sweat the small stuff. I would love to find some chilled people to live with who are social and don't mind the odd drink or having friends over occasionally (not keen on a party house though). I'm currently staying with friends in Pottsville after living in Cooli for the last few years. I really like the area and would love to live in a house after so many years living in small units. I love dogs so if you have a dog that is a bonus :)
My wife and I are both fit, non smokers and enjoy a quiet lifestyle. We love the beach, swimming / lifesaving. Trying to get back to golf. We plan to be travelling a fair bit with work so we need a base. Heaps of references available
Hi, I'm a Tafe teacher and I teach yoga and pilates. I am easy going, look after any place I live and I'm quite. I work early mornings and evenings so tend to be home when most people are at work during the day. I have a very friendly beagle who is walked twice daily so he is well behaved at home.
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
I'm honest, respectful, reliable and a happy person... I work as an electrician. Early starts and long days generally so very quiet through the week. I love the ocean and surf when I can or otherwise playing golf . I'm never hanging around the house too much and like to be outdoors enjoying the day
Hi guys :) I'm looking for a place around Northern NSW coast/ Gold Coast area. Looking to move into a non party house but with people who don't mind a wine/ beer and a good laugh. Very relaxed, clean and positive 28 year old veterinary nurse. I do come with a cat that I've had since I was 12 and a dog! My dog would be outside- 9 year old bull terrier rescue who is incredibly friendly with other people and other dogs, my cat would need to be inside and out if possible 😊 Timmy (the cat) is litter trained. I work all week at a vet clinic and a pub of weekends.
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing. I don't have any pets of my own but very happy to live with someone who does SO LONG AS they are well trained, cared for, and don't become a burden to me through lack of training and care by their human parents, I would also be particularly intolerant of witnessing any abuse of such pets.
